Old Opinion: "I have a love-hate relationship with this ship. I love it for the idea of two self-centered, fame hungry people getting together, who are both around the same age range. (Blainley may be slightly older than Chris, but only by a few years.) Blainley additionally in my mind is a female Chris, only with their different career paths making them completely separate characters. So, I should be loving this ship. However, I hate it as well due to the abuse Chris caused her, like so many other of the Total Drama competitors. The worst offense of this trait was when he kicked her out of the jumbo jet during her elimination in the Chinese episode of Total Drama: World Tour, causing Blainley to be put in a full body cast. I'm torn about whether or not the couple should be canon, but for now I'm going to be neutral on this ship."

  New Opinion:  Well, I've decided my position on this ship the year after I wrote my old opinion.  One word could summarize how I feel about this ship; abusive.  There is no way that a relationship between Chris and Blainley would at all be stable, especially to Blainley.  While it is true that both characters are vain, fame hungry adults, there exists differences in their characterization.  Blainley is more reliant on others for her to achieve goals, and besides forcefully sending Bridgette away to Siberia, there really exists no sociopathic tendencies in her character.  Chris is a completely different story.  He is usually self-reliant on achieving goals and unlike Blainley has the definition of what a sociopath is.  Just to get a view on how bad things would get if they dated, all we need is to remember how Chris kicked Blainley out of the Jumbo Jet after her elimination in Total Drama: World Tour with no parachute and caused her to be put in a full body cast.  That is not even adding the fact that Blainley was treated horribly like all of the other competitors in her short time on the show by Chris and was left for dead when the volcano erupted in Hawaii.  The only thing that makes this ship possible is that Chris once called Blainley "a ratings' tool", which could suggest he thought at least she was attractive.  Other than that, having this ship become canon would be like putting Blainley in a lion's cage and locking the door.  It would not end well for her.
