You've Stepped Over The Line
A/n- lol, forget about the other chapter...THIS one will be the shortest😂
Cameras are off
Courtney woke up in Duncan's arms. She sighed contently at the warm feeling. Yes, she had been embarrassed by the video last night. However, the delinquent reassured her that everything would be fine. And she had a feeling he was right.
"Morning," Duncan yawned, planting a sloppy kiss on her head.
"Good morning," she smiled dreamily. They laid there until the other campers were awake.
"I'm so hungry," was the first thing Zoey said.
"Girl, you're always hungry," LeShawna replied playfully.
"That's the beauty of pregnancy," she laughed.
"Speaking of pregnancy," Harold started. "I can't believe Heather's pregnant."
"Eh," shrugged LeShawna. "I saw it coming. And of course she wants to get rid of her own baby. She's always thinking about herself!"
"My fair LeShawna," her boyfriend began. "You do have a point, however, we cannot judge a person without really getting to know them."
"Yeah, but who would want to waste their time getting to know Heather?" Duncan asked. "You would have to have a death wish or something to even come near her."
"I've seen Sierra and Cody talk to her and they were fine," Bridgette stayed, climbing down from the top bunk.
"That's because Sierra's psycho and Cody's desperate to get away from her."
"Quit gossiping about people, Duncan!" Courtney snapped, pulling the covers off her legs. "It's so immature."
"Like you don't do the same, Princess," he snorted, following her out of bed.
"Hey Court," Bridgette walked up to her friend and lowered her voice. "Can I...talk to you about something in private? It's a girl thing."
"Sure! We could go behind the cabin?" The surfer nodded, and both girls headed out.
"What do you think they're talking about?" Tyler wondered aloud.
"Probably gossiping," Duncan smirked.
**
"What's up?" The C.I.T. asked her friend after they were out of sight from the others.
"Well..." Bridgette looked off to the side nervously. "I just wanted to...check up you. How are you?"
Courtney gave her a strange look. "I'm...fine?"
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah," she nodded. "Ever since Duncan and I got back together, my life has never been better!"
"And that...may or may not be the problem," the blonde flinched immediately after she said it, expecting her to completely lose it. Instead, Courtney only smiled.
"Don't worry, Bridge. I know he broke my heart once, but that was a long time ago. We're fine now. Trust me."
"Ok, just making sure you know what you're getting yourself into again. I just...I don't want you to make the same mistake twice."
"I won't, ok?" The brunette placed a hand on her shoulder. "And even if we do get into another fight, we'll work it out in the end. Duncan and I...we're inseparable."
José smirked evilly from behind a tree. Inseparable, huh? We'll see about that...

"Hannah!" Lindsay called excitedly.
Said girl rolled her eyes. "Heather, Lindsay. It's Heather."
"Oh yeah..." the blonde scratched her head. Then she smiled, dropping her breakfast tray next to hers.
"Um...I didn't tell say you could sit here."
"Well I didn't really wanna sit here either because I don't like you, but I have no other choice. Every other seat is taken."
"Actually," she said, her teeth gritted. "There's a spot right over there next to your boyfriend."
"Who, Tyler?" She scoffed, turning up her nose. "Well he's not my boyfriend anymore!"
Heather raised an eyebrow. "Why? Did he forget your name this time?"
"No," she glared over in his direction. "He cheated on me."
"What?" The queen bee laughed. "Weren't you the one who made out with José in the bushes or something?"
"Yeah! But that was after I found out he cheated on me!"
"Wait a minute," she squinted suspiciously. "...How you did you find out? Did you see him do it?"
"...No, but José told me."
Heather groaned. Of course he did. "Alright, Lindsay," she faked a smile. "You moves on. Good for you."
"Thanks Heather," she smiled back. "Is it ok if I hang out with you and Jalapeño from now on?"
No. "Sure." It took all of her willpower to hide her anger. José is going down!!!!
"What's going on?" Alejandro came and sat on the other side of Heather.
"It's nothing," His fiancé replied. "Just...Lindsey's going to be hanging out with us for a while, right?" She grinned widely at the blonde, who nodded.
"Yeah! I'm getting over Tyler!"
Shit.
"Qué?" The Spaniard raised an eyebrow.
"Her and Tyler broke up," Heather answered quickly, praying that Lindsay wouldn't bring up his brother.
"Yeah, he cheated on me."
"Ahh..." Alejandro glanced at the jock, who looked so alone. Then he turned to Heather. "Tyler cheated on Lindsay?"
"Yeah, I know, it's hard to believe."
"Hmm," he shrugged, taking a sip of his coffee. "Anyways, are you feeling alright this morning?"
"Yeah," she nodded shyly. "About what happened last night...I'm so sorry for crying like that. I know it was annoying, and I probably looked super ugly while doing it-"
"Heather," he chuckled lightly. "You are not annoying or ugly, mi amor. Must you always put yourself down?"
"It's called being honest with yourself, Alejandro. You should try it sometime."
"Was that supposed to be a comeback? Cause that was just adorable. I think you're losing your touch, Heath."
"I never lose my touch!" She glared.
"Whatever you you say," he smirked.
"Ugh!!" She angrily took her spoon she was eating her oatmeal with and shoved it in her mouth.
"You're such an adorable angry eater."
Heather sighed, swallowing the oatmeal. "Fine. Bother me all you want. But just know that my hormones are going crazy, and I could kill you in your sleep if I decide to one night."
"It's fine as long as I'm killed by you."
"Is there anything else that comes out of our mouth besides crappy pickup lines?!"
"But that's why you love me."
"For Christ's sake, stop!" Scott yelled from across the table. "Oh my gosh...is this how a normal conversation is between you two?!"
"Yes, now back off before I kill you!" Heather tried to get up on the table when Alejandro stopped her.
"Heather!" He whisper-yelled, placing both of his hands on her shoulders. "I know he's an idiot, but there's no need to do that. Just sit and eat, alright?"
"Fine," She grumbled, sitting back down.
Scott gave her a glare. "Scott! There's no need to start a fight! She's...really hormonal," Alejandro chuckled. "Pregnancy, huh?" The farm boy rolled his eyes.
**
It was 2:00 am and Heather was out on another one of her midnight snack, or, meal adventures. Alejandro had offered to grab her something whenever she needed it, and although it seemed like a good idea, Heather decided not to wake him up. He looked too cute and peaceful in his sleep.
So there she was again, quietly making her way to the cafeteria, when she heard hushed voices from behind the old confessional area. Heather scrunched yo her nose in disgust. Who would want to just sit there and talk behind a freaking outhouse?!
She was about to keep going, when she heard what sounded like José's voice. "I thought turning them on really spiced things up."
"Indeed it did," Chris laughed. Heather's eyes widened. Turning what on? Spicing what up?!
"I've changed a lot of relationships," the Spaniard sneered. "Your show will definitely be getting more views."
Changed a lot of relationships? Turned them on...turned them on...turned them-the cameras!! The Asian woman growled lowly, balling her fists in anger. The douche turned on all the cameras?!!!! He is so going down!!!!
Heather went to the cafeteria and came back to run into José, who was just getting back to their cabin. She didn't say a word, pretending she heard nothing, and went straight to bed. Well, she didn't fall asleep.
She waited for another hour until she was sure José was asleep. She then crept out of bed again and went out to try and find where Chris had his cameras. It's time for your payback, José! It took a while, but she eventually found the master room.
"So this is where that asshole snuck in to expose us?" She whispered to herself, studying all the screens connected to the walls. Maybe I can get embarrassing forage of this idiot picking his nose or something stupid that would ruin his so-called 'reputation.' She smiled to herself at the very thought of José getting humiliated.
"Now how does he record?" She slowly looked around, thinking of all the possible ways it could work. There were dozens of wires hooked to dozens of different places. It was a mess. Go figure. It's Chris!
Then she saw it: a record button on the bottom of the TV screens. Ah ha! She smirked. José, prepared to be-
"Heather," she heard a low, menacing voice from behind her. Her eyes widened, and her body went stiff. She slowly turned around to see...José?!
"Um...what are you doing here?"
"I think I should be asking you that," he chuckled darkly. "But I already know what you're up to." She raised an eyebrow. "Oh please, Heather. I saw you spying on Chris and I. Very hypocritical if you ask me. After all, you know what it's like to have your privacy invaded." The Asian gritted her teeth.
"Well get ready to have yours invaded!"
"How?" He said, an obnoxious smirk growing on his face. "I'm an open book. Besides, now I'll know that I'm on camera."
"I'll get you back some other time, dickwad!" She snapped.
"And I highly doubt that, darling," his voice grew dark and sinister as he walked closer to her.
"Get away from me! And don't call me that again!"
"Listen," his smirk changed to a glare. "I call you whatever I please." She tried to push past him, but he stopped her, roughly grabbing her wrist.
Heather gasped and tried kicking him. "You let go of me right now or I swear I'll end you right here!!!!"
"And how are you planning to end me? Huh? The cameras are off. I could do anything I wanted to you right now and no one would ever know. But...I'm gonna choose to let you go with a fair warning, as you not so fairly gave me. Stay out of my way and no one gets hurt." He let go of her.
Heather glared, holding her now red wrist. "No,. You stay out of my way!" She shoved him aside. "Douche!!!!"
José glared back at the woman as she walked away. Oh Heather...you haven't seen the worst of me yet.
