"Movie" Night
Cameras are on
"What the?" Chris asked himself when he walked into the camera room the next morning.
"What's goin' on?" Chef came in from behind him.
"I guess I forgot to turn the cameras completely off last night. I could've sworn I turned them off. See what happens when you try to rush me, Chef?!"
"Well so-ry," he rolled his eyes.
"That's not good enough," the host glared, turning the cameras off and double checking.
Cameras are off
"I wonder what went on last night? Do you think we should check? Probably not. Wouldn't want invade anyone's privacy." They both looked at each other, then laughed. "Ha ha, who am I kidding? This would make a great episode! Just let me look at the footage and edit it to where we can show it to everyone."
"Yeah," Chef agreed. "And how about we make a little "movie night" out of it?"
"Ooo...I like that idea! Let's get to editing!"

Cortney woke up with a smile on her face. She slowly blinked her eyes open to see Duncan sleeping soundly from across the cabin. How she so desperately wished she could be laying right next to him. If she did that, everyone would know what happened between them last night.
The C.I.T. sighed dreamily as she remembered her very...eventful night. Duncan was so good to her. It was almost like they were teenagers again, just messing around, except this time it meant so much more. For one, the weight of the world was off her shoulders. On their first time, Courtney had been super tense and nervous she would mess up. But hearing him tell her that she was perfect the way she was this time around really made a difference. And what he did to her with Gwen...none of it mattered anymore.
She heard shuffling from the bed above her, and down came Bridgette on the ladder. "Good morning," She yawned.
"Morning," the brunette smiled.
The surfer raised an eyebrow. "Since when were you a morning person?"
"Never said I was," she answered cooly. "Just got great sleep last night." Bridgette only laughed, shaking her head. "What?"
"Nothing. It's just that..." she looked over at Duncan from the corner of her eye, who was smiling in his sleep. "Nothing." She stifled another laugh.
Courtney squinted at her friends suspiciously as she gathered her clothes and headed out to change. Does...does she know?
Suddenly, there was a loud yawn from across the room. Duncan stretched his arms and legs far out before sitting up, smacking his lips. Once he noticed that Courtney was also awake, he gave her a smirk, and she blushed, looking in the other direction. "Ah, come on, Princess," he whispered. "Why so shy?"
"I'm not shy," she rolled her eyes, sliding her legs out from under the covers and sitting up in bed. "I just...I don't want anyone to know what went on last night..."
"Relax," the delinquent chuckled. "As long as we keep acting like we hate each other when everyone's around, no one's gonna find out."
"You're right," she smiled, a little more reassured. But it's gonna be so hard pretending to hate him after last night.

"Girl, what?!" LeShawna's eyes widened as her and Lindsay sat together during breakfast.
"I had to do it," The blonde replied. "I don't give cheaters second chances."
"But...are you sure he cheated on you? And who was it with?"
"Um...well, I haven't figured that one out yet. But I just know he did! I could tell by the look in his eyes!"
LeShawna looked at Tyler from across the cafeteria, who was slumped over his plate, poking at his waffles with a fork. Her face fell flat. "Uh, yeah. He looks totally guilty."
"See? I told you!"
Meanwhile, Gwen and Trent walked in, hand in hand. Everyone gasped, staring at them and whispering to each other. "Yeah, we're dating again," said Gwen. "Get over it."
"Eeep!" Sierra suddenly screeched, jumping up from her seat. "This is like Island all over again!!"
"Except we have like ten new people here...including you," Noah muttered, rolling his eyes. "But hey, that doesn't matter." The couple sat at the table with Geoff, Bridgette, Mike, Zoey, Cameron, and Courtney. And surprisingly, the C.I.T. was the first to say something.
"Congratulations, guys!" She beamed. The goth and musician shared a weird glance.
"Uh...thanks, I guess," Trent scratched the back of his neck.
"Mmm...tats wondoful, yo guys..." Zoey said, stuffing two pancakes in her mouth at once. Everyone at the table stared at her. "Whot? I'm prewgnant."
"CAMPERS!" Chris burst through the door, causing half of them to nearly drop whatever they were holding at the moment.
"I wonder what the lame game will be today," Scott retorted, angry that Chris made him spill his milk all over the table.
"Actually," The host began, smiling creepily. "There will be no game today. In fact, we have something even better for you guys."
"Well what is it?" Asked LeShawna challengingly.
"You'll have to wait until tonight..."
José smirked, knowing exactly what Chris was talking about. If he's acting like that, he must have found something pretty juicy on those cameras. The Spaniard has woke up too late to check them on his own like he was planning to, so he figured Chris would just think he forgot to turn the cameras off. And his plan worked perfectly. Now all I'm hoping for is some footage of Heather for my revenge.
Chris laughed one last time before leaving the cafeteria. He knew that José was the one who turned on all the cameras last night because he saw it at the very beginning of the footage. But when was he ever one to expose people like him? Never. Because manipulators like him made the game so much better and gave it higher ratings. That's why he brought him here, after all.
"Ugh," Heather rolled her eyes. "Whatever Chris is planning will probably be just as boring as those stupid games he's forcing us to play. And if not, even more so."
"Chin up, mi amor," Alejandro smirked. "At least we're not doing anything life-threatening like last time."
"I'm just really tired..." she yawned, resting her head in her hands.
Her fiancé raised an eyebrow. "Are you ok? Could you not sleep?"
"Yeah, I slept. I'm just...really done with everyone right now."
"When are you not done with everyone?"
"Good point," she muttered, stabbing a fork into her waffle. She thought about what happened with Sierra last night. Would she tell him? No. I threatened her pretty good. She'll be too scared to even think about it. But then again, there have been times when Sierra went crazy and she was practically fearless. She began to feel nauseous. Oh my gosh...I shouldn't have told her. I should've came up with some other excuse! Heck! She probably told Cody by now! She tells him everything!
Suddenly, her food didn't look too good. She felt a tingling sensation near her lips. Heather quickly stood up, one hand covering her mouth and swung her legs over the wooden chairs, rushing to the bathroom. Luckily, they had one in the cafeteria.
"Ew!" Everyone cringed as they heard the noises through the wall.
Concerned, Alejandro opened the door. His fiancé was slumped over the toilet, breathing heavily. She then sighed, sitting down on the floor, her whole body shaking. She flushed the toilet. Her morning sickness had usually occurred around 4:00 or 5:00 every morning, and she was able to run out and go to the bathrooms without anyone waking up. But today was different. Dammit, why did this have to happen now?!
"Heath?" She heard Alejandro's voice. He kneeled down next to her, rubbing her back soothingly. "You alright, baby?" She closes her eyes for a moment, got herself together, then nodded.
"Yeah. I think I just ate too much last night." He nodded, offering to help her up, but she refused, insisting that she was perfectly fine. They both came out of the bathroom to meet everyone's staring gazes.
Heather looked down. "I think I'm gonna go lie down for a while," she whispered. Her fiancé nodded.
"Do you want me to come with you?"
"No," she shook her head. "It's fine." He nodded again, letting her leave, and sat back down at his table.
"Dang, poor Heather," whispered DJ.
"Poor Heather?" LeShawna laughed. "Please, as long as she stays in that cabin and out of my face, we're healthy."
"True," he said. "I wouldn't wanna get sick and spread it to mama when I get home."
"You...still live with your mom?"
"...No. I just...visit frequently."
**
Heather looked up at the ceiling, trying not to think about what just happened in the cafeteria. Great. Now everyone's gonna suspect. "Thanks a lot!" She glared down at her stomach. Then she rolled her eyes. Why am I talking to a freaking fetus?!
Suddenly, the door opened, revealing Sierra. The Asian huffed. "I thought I told you to leave me alone."
"Hey," she held her hands up in defense. "I just came here to get my swimsuit. Most of us are going swimming in the lake if you wanna join."
"Pffft, no," Heather snorted. "People think I'm sick, so I need to be sick. Not go out and party."
"Well Alejandro told everyone that you ate too much last night for dinner. So you're actually free to do whatever."
Ugh... She moaned. Why? "Fine. I may or may not come out. Now go, freak!" Sierra rolled her eyes and headed out the door.
Not more than a minute later, Alejandro walked in. "Hey, if you're feeling better, we're going swimming-"
"Yes, I know," she interrupted, annoyed. "Sierra told me. Now you can leave too."
Her fiancé rolled his eyes. "Why are you so mad today? I mean more than usual?"
"Because you guys keep bothering me."
"It was only Sierra and I."
"So? That's still bugging me, isn't it?!"
The Spaniard sighed. "Fine. I'll leave you alone. But if you're not out here in ten minutes, I may have to carry you out," he finished playfully.
"Alejandro! Don't you dare!" She yelled.
"Or maybe I'll do it now..."
"No!" She hid under the blankets. He attempted to pull them off, but her grip was too strong.
"Heather..." he said in a singsong voice. "I'll get you out of there and I will throw you into the lake whether you like it or not."
"Oh yeah?! Well go ahead and try!"
He chuckled, slowly walking towards the other end of the bed where her feet were. He stood there for a moment, waiting patently for her to uncover herself. When she didn't, he reached down, quickly lifting the blankets and tickling her.
"H-hey!" She laughed. "Ahhhhh! S-stop, jerk!" She kicked wildly, Alejandro dodging every one of them. "Alejandro! Y-you'll pay for this!!!!" Her grip on the covers loosened, and he was able to pull them off with ease. He picked her up bridal style, and she continued kicking. "Put me down!"
"Nope," he smiled, heading towards the door.
"I'm serious, Alejandro!"
"No you're not."
Heather gritted her teeth, then sighed in defeat, lifting her arms and wrapping them around his neck. "Fine. Maybe I'm not. But..." he opened the door and walked down the steps.
"But what?"
"But I get to call you AL!" She yelled for everyone to hear.
"Oh no," Cody said.
"What?" Asked Izzy.
"Heather called him Al. That's not good," Sierra answered.
Alejandro's eyes widened, but then he smirked. "It actually sounds nice coming from you."
"No it doesn't, you liar!" She argued. "You hate that name."
"Yeah, but not when you say it."
"Oh yeah? Then I what if I say it over and over again, Al?!" Her fiancé only chuckled, continuing his journey towards the dock. "Al, Al, Al, Al, Al!" She kept saying.
"Ha ha," mocked José as they passed him. "Now even your fiancé says it, Al." Alejandro glared daggers at him.
"Yeah, Al," Heather laughed. "How does it feel?"
"It feels..." he paused, pretending to be in deep thoughtful about it. "Like this!" He tossed her into the water. Heather let out a scream as she flew into the air and hit the water. It was freezing, especially since she was still in her clothes.
She immediately swam up to the surface, glaring at her fiancé. "Oh, it is so on! Get in here!"
Alejandro laughed, shaking his head. "No. I've gotta go get my swimsuit on first."
"Oh no you don't!" She swam as fast as she could to the dock, pushing people out of the way. By the time she had climbed up, Alejandro was already running back to the cabin. "Yeah! You better run!" She followed him.
Heather opened the door and saw him quickly taking off his shirt. "You're still going in with pants on!" She tried to grab him by the wrist, but he bent down to take off his pants with his free hand.
"Geez, Heather," he smirked playfully. "Didn't know you were that excited for me to get naked." She growled, still trying to pull him outside. "Wait, I'm not in my swim trunks yet. Do you want all those other girls to see me like...this?" He gestured to himself.
"Then put on your damn clothes back on!" She yelled. "You deserve to be freezing!"
"I deserve it?" He asked, pretending to be confused. "For what? Trying to cheer you up?"
"You didn't cheer me up!"
"I'd say I did. You were laughing just a few minutes ago."
"That's because you tickled me, jerk!" She snapped.
"Heather," he began, slipping on his red speedo. "Do you know how adorable you are when you're angry?"
"Well I won't be adorable when I push your ass into the freezing cold water!"
"No amount of cold water could ever change my mind about you."
"Well, you-" she cut herself off, not having anymore comebacks. "You're just...annoying."
"I know, me amor," he kissed her cheek and walked past her. "Are you coming?"
"Yeah...just let me put on my bikini."
"Can I watch?"
"Get out!"
Chuckling, Alejandro left the cabin.
**
"Hey Courtney!" Duncan called from in the water. "Wanna take a swim with me?"
The C.I.T. smiled, opening her mouth to say yes, but then closed it. "No, you...ogre! Hmmph!" She crossed her arms.
"Well that seemed really forced," Bridgette mentioned to Geoff.
"Huh?" Her husband asked, not really paying much attention.
"I said that seemed really forced."
"What seemed really forced?"
Sigh.
"Nothing. It was nothing, babe." The surfer studied her brunette friend's behavior. She was sitting on the dock, her feet in the water. And she looked really...relaxed. Something was definitely up.
"Oh...now I know what you're talking about," her husband said. "Courtney and Duncan. Yeah, it is kinda suspicious."
"Are they...back together? Because I swore to myself that I wouldn't let that...punk break her heart again!"
"Chill, babe," Geoff placed a hand on her shoulder. "If she wants to get back with him, she wants to get back with him. There's nothing we can do about."
"Oh yes there is!" Bridgette snapped. "I'll talk to her tonight about this and make sure she knows what she's doing."
Courtney screamed as she was dragged into the water by Duncan. He was laughing like crazy as she got back up, spitting water into his face. "Hey!"
"What?" She pouted.
"What's with the grumpy attitude, Princess?"
The brunette rolled her eyes, then lowered her voice. "Don't you remember? We're acting like we hate each other?"
"Oh yeah," he smiled. "Or should I say I don't have to act like I hate you!"
"That's more like it. Now leave me alone, Neanderthal!" She yelled.
"Gladly!" He yelled back, swimming as far away from her as possible. Courtney couldn't help but giggle.
**
Heather walked out of the cabin with a swimsuit coverup on. She had looked at herself in the mirror with her bikini on, and noticed that there was already a tiny bump. She didn't want anyone questioning it, especially Alejandro.
"Mi amor!" Her fiancé called. "Why cover up your gorgeous body?"
"I..." she blushed, trying to come up with a valid excuse. "I actually don't wanna swim right now, so..I'm keeping this on until I do."
Not entirely convinced, he raised an eyebrow. "Alright, but I'm gonna be swimming!" She nodded, watching him dive into the lake.
Heather sighed and dropped her fake demeanor. Why am I so worried about this now?! I never was until I spoke with Sierra last night! Ugh!!!! She found a spot to sit and stayed there, watching as Alejandro swam around with Duncan and Scott. I'm actually glad I didn't go in. Idiots.
She was relaxed until she saw Sierra swim up next to him. Oh no. She's gonna tell him! No! Heather stood up to walk over there.
"Hey Alejandro," Sierra swam up next to him.
"Sierra," he smirked. "I know I'm eye candy, but sorry, I'm already taken."
"No, you idiot!" She yelled. "I was just wondering...why was Heather calling you Al?" He cringed, then took a deep breath
"I forced her to go swimming and she wanted to get back at me."
"Oh, ok," she sighed in relief. "I just thought she was mad at you."
"Well, she was, but not really. Why would she have a reason to be mad at me?"
"Oh, uh...no reason!" She answered almost too quickly. "Just a little worried there. Didn't want to have to take down my Aleheather blog."
"Your...what?"
"Hey Sierra!" Heather stood above them on the dock. "What's up?"
"Uh..." the purple-haired girl glanced at the Spaniard. "Nothing? I was just asking Alejandro why you were calling him Al."
The queen bee crossed her arms, scowling at her. "And since when was that any of your business?"
"Never! Ok, ok, I'll leave you two alone! Sheesh!" She swam away. Once she was out of sight, Heather sat down by the water.
"What did Sierra say to you?"
"Exactly What she told you," Alejandro answered. "Is there something going on?"
"No!" His fiancé yelled. "There's nothing for you to worry about. It's all good."
"Hmm..." he squinted his eyes.
"Al!" Came another voice. José smiled, sitting next to Heather. "What's up you two?"
"The sky. Now leave!" Heather glared.
"Ha, you think that'll be enough to make me go?"
"No, but I'll show you what's enough!" She attempted to push him aside, when she fell right into the water.
José just say there, dying of laughter. "Heather, you're so weak, just like Al. You two are perfect for each other!"
"Heather's not weak, you bastard!" Alejandro defended.
"We'll see," he snickered, standing up. "We'll see..."

Cameras are on
"Man," Owen burped. "That dinner really filled me up." He had just finished eating four hotdogs and two hamburgers with a side of large fries. Everyone looked at him, disgusted. "What? Food is good!"
"Hey campers!" Chris greeted, walking through the cafeteria. "Everyone meet by the campfire when you're all done eating for the 'surprise' I was talking about earlier."
"I doubt its anything special," Heather scoffed.
"Oh, believe me..." the host laughed manically. "It will be, Heather." Her eyes widened, a bit frightened of how much he emphasized on her name.
"And how are we supposed to get points for this?" LeShawna asked.
"I'll explain it once we're through. Now eat up!"
Once everyone was finished, they all headed to the campfire and sat on the log seats. Chef had brought a projector and a screen in, then it was silent.
"Ok," Noah started. "Who wants to be that there will be a giant hammer that will smash the screen and kill us all?"
"Chris!" Heather yelled, annoyed. "If you're not coming out, I'm leaving!"
Suddenly, the screen went bright. A title was placed in the middle of it, reading: Behind Closed Lenses.
"Ugh..." Noah groaned. "Great. This is probably gonna be some stupid video about what we do when we think the cameras are off but they're really not. Chris, you're not funny!"
Then the screen read: Whoever has the most embarrassing footage on here gets 5 points for their whole team. Now enjoy! ;)
The first clip was of Gwen and Trent leaning in to kiss, when Izzy stopped them. "Hey guys! I found you!" Everyone laughed. "You didn't tell me we were playing hide-n-seek!"
Gwen: "Izzy, we weren't playing hide-in-seek."
Izzy laughed nervously. "Sorry guys..."
Izzy: "Oh. Then you must have been playing Marco Polo? Do you guys even know how that works? Because I didn't hear any Marcos or Polos-"
Trent: "Izzy. I think we're gonna go back to the cabin, alright ?"
Gwen: "Yeah. I'm getting tired."
Izzy: "Ok! Goodnight, guys! I might sleep in the lake tonight with all the fishies!"
Gwen: "Isn't that..."
Trent: "Dangerous? Probably, but hopefully she'll figure it out when she realizes she has to come up for air."
"Ooo..." everyone laughed some more.
"Hey," Izzy scowled at them. "I wasn't really going to sleep with the fish. I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid."
The video stopped, and words came up again. Izzy, how embarrassing was that?
"Very!" The redhead said. "I hate this video already!"
The next clip was of Duncan and Courtney.
Courtney: "My mom. She would critique everything I did. I was never allowed to go to parties, never allowed to hang out with friends..." she clenched her fists angrily. "Not even allowed to keep my damn hair long! Everything had to be perfect for her! I don't know what she expected of me!! When I auditioned for this stupid show, I was hoping I could win and make enough to be able to go to The University of Alberta and become a lawyer."
Courtneys mouth hung wide open as she watched herself open up to Duncan on screen. And everyone was watching. This was only supposed to be between her and Duncan!! She gritted her teeth, feeling her eyes burn with tears. Chris is so gonna pay for this!!!!
The video continued.
Duncan: "Did you...did you only want to become a lawyer to impress your mom?"
Courtney: "No, I really do want to be one. But...sometimes I don't. Sometimes I just want to take a break. I wanna be normal for once. Oh gosh...I-I was so terrible. I was terrible to you, terrible to Gwen, terrible to...everyone. But even if I apologize now, no one would believe me. I've done more damage than I can fix. And...and when you came into my life...I thought that-I-I thought that you were purposely trying to keep me from what I wanted to do. I never thought...you actually liked me. But then when I realized you did...i-it was too much. The very thought of someone liking me for me...it scared me. And then I guess I was wrong because...because when I saw you with Gwen, I felt empty. I felt-"
"Man," Geoff said. "This is some deep stuff. He picked the right night to leave the cameras on."
"But it's also their personally space!" Bridgette glared, elbowing her husband in the side.
Duncan: "This is the Courtney I wanted to get to know. She's real and she doesn't feel the need to be perfect."
Courtney: "...Really?"
Duncan: "Really. And hey, don't ever be ashamed of yourself. I don't care what your mom says. You're perfect the way you are, Courtney."
"Awe," their peers cooed, some even tearing up.
Duncan: "You're still my princess, you know."
Um...how far is he gonna let this play? Courtney worried, glancing at Duncan, who sat across from her. He looked worried as well.
The video didn't stop until the kiss got super heated, then more words showed up on the screen. I think we all know what happened next ;)
The C.I.T.'s face turned bright red. The other contestants laughed.
"What?!" Bridgette said. "You two did...that and you didn't tell me?!"
"Why would she tell you?!" Heather snapped.
The surfer ignored her, continuing to glare at her friend. "How long ago was this?!"
"It was...last night," the brunette answered, still flustered.
"Wait!" Heather interrupted. "Last night? These videos are from...last night?"
"Yeah," Gwen nodded. "So far they are."
The Asian's eyes widened. Oh no...no no no no! Maybe Chris turned off the cameras before that! Yeah, he wouldn't keep them on until 2:00 in the morning!
Boy, was she wrong.
She swallowed hard when she saw the footage of her slowly getting out of the bed and tip-toeing towards the door, when Sierra stopped her.
Sierra: "Heather!"
"What is she doing?" Someone whispered.
"Yeah," Alejandro smirked, expecting it to be something hilarious so he could get back at her for calling him Al. "What are you doing?"
"You know what?" Heather laughed nervously, grabbing his hand. "Let's get out of here! Come to think of it, I'm really tired!"
"Nuh Uh Uh," he chuckled. "I have to see this."
Heather frowned, feeling her heart pound faster with each second. No. This can't be happening.
Sierra: "Heather!"
Heather: "What?!"
Sierra: "What are you doing?"
Heather: "Um...I'm going to the bathroom." *Sierra raises an eyebrow* "What? I am! Now would you mind your own business?!"
Sierra: "Really? Because you've been doing this the whole time we've been here."
Everyone gasped.
"She's probably doing something evil," LeShawna said. "At least we'll have a good laugh when she's exposed."
Heather: "People have to go to the bathroom, you know."
Sierra: "No. I know you're not going to the bathroom, Heather. Every night you leave the cabin to sneak off, in awake and watching."
Heather: "Wait! Come on," *Heather pulls Sierra outside* "So you...followed me every night?"
Sierra: "...No, I never said that. But I see you come back with a bunch of food."
"Wow," Gwen laughed. "What a hypocrite. Calling everyone fat when you're the one who eats like a pig! No offense, Owen.
"None taken," the big guy smiled proudly.
Heather: "Yeah. I...like to grab a midnight snack every once in a while."
Sierra: "But Heather, you always came back with a meal. And even dessert sometimes. Do you not eat during the day or something?"
Heather: "No!" She snapped. "I eat plenty, thank you very much." *Sierra gasps* What?!"
Sierra: "Are you...pregnant?"
Heather's stomach did flips, and she bit her lip, not daring to look at her fiancé, who lightly gasped.
Heather: "W-What?! No!"
Sierra: "You are...aren't you?"
Pause.
Heather: "You can not tell anyone this, got it?!"
By now, Heather was covering her face.
Sierra: "How far along are you?"
Heather: "About three weeks. But seriously, if you tell someone, I can promise you that it will be the very last thing you ever say!"
Sierra: "Does...Alejandro know?"
Heather: "...No. And...it won't be a problem. Once were off this island, I'll...take care of it."
The crowd was dead silent.
Sierra: "What do you mean take care of it?!"
Heather: "I mean...get rid of it, ok? It's no big deal."
Everyone gasped again. "Wow, I never knew she was this evil."
Alejandro slowly turned towards his fiancé, feeling so betrayed. How could she?
Sierra: "Getting rid of it?! Heather, you can't-"
Heather: "I can and I will. I don't want it, and I know he doesn't want it either. So please mind your own business and stay out of this!"
The video ended.
I personally think that was the most embarrassing one of them all. So Pink Flamingos, you get five points!
No one cheered.
Cameras are off
"Heather-" Alejandro started, but she stood up and walked away as fast as she could. "Heather!" He called again, a little louder this time. He followed her.
She glanced back and saw that he was gaining, so she began running. But alas, he caught up, grabbing her wrist and pulling her back. "Heather!!" He glared.
"What?!" She snapped.
"Care to explain?!"
"There's nothing to explain."
"Oh really?!" He raised his voice. "You weren't gonna tell me that you were pregnant and planning on getting rid of our baby?!!"
"I thought we already spoke about this!" She yelled. "I thought we both made it very clear that we didn't want kids!"
"So you decided to not tell me and just get rid of him or her?!"
"Look, I was going to tell you, but I didn't know how you would react!"
"What the hell did you think I would do, Heather?!"
"I don't know," she shrugged. "Look, it doesn't matter. It's...whatever."
"Are you serious?!" Alejandro looked at her as if she were a completely different person. "God, at least act like you care about something for once in your life!"
Heather's eyes widened at his words. And the way he spoke to her...it almost sounded like the way he spoke to José. Her lips trembled as she watched him walk away. She blinked, and a single tear streamed down her cheek. "Wait...Alejandro!" Her voice shook as she took a step forward. Dammit! She tried so hard to keep it from doing that. Now she just sounded weak. "I-I'm sorry, I just-"
"I wish you would've let me know," He said, tears forming in his eyes. "It's our baby, Heather!"
"It was an accident!" She choked out.
Alejandro gathered his breath and shakily let it out to calm himself down. "—I know. And...I don't want to force you to do anything, but I want us to at least talk about this."
Heather couldn't hold it in any longer. "I-I'm so scared!" She burst out in tears. "I don't want to be a mom! I-I can't!" She covered her face, ashamed she was falling apart like this. Her shoulders shook like crazy as she tried to slow her breathing, but it didn't work.
Alejandro's face softened, and he pulled her into his arms. She cried even louder. The Spaniard didn't know how to react. Yes, heather had cried in front of him before, but never like this.
She buried her head into the crook of his neck, and held into him for dear life. She hadn't cried like this in years. She hadn't allowed herself to. Ever since elementary, she vowed that she would never break down like this again, because it made her look weak. When the other kids would make fun of her, she'd bawl like a baby and that would just make it worse. But now, she was breaking her own promise to herself. And it was the most liberating thing in the world. Like she had just gotten the last ten years off her chest.
"I-it was m-my fault..." she cried. "I forgot to take my stupid p-pills one day, and-" she couldn't even finish before her tears took over again.
"Shhh," Alejandro soothed, running his fingers through her hair. "It's no one's fault, mi ángel." Heather just kept crying and crying as he held her in his arms. "It's ok, I'm right here," he whispered softly over and over again. "It'll be ok, mi amor." After a few moments, he gently lifted her up and carried her to their cabin.
"You'll be an amazing mother, Heather," Alejandro told her as she laid on his chest on their bunk, still crying her eyes out and soaking his shirt.
"B-But...what if I'm not?" Her voice shook.
"You will be," he repeated confidently. "You survived Total Drama for four seasons. I know you can do it."
Heather looked up at him, sniffling. "Being a mother is way different from being a contestant on Total Drama," she snapped. "In fact, they are complete opposites. Yeah, I won Total Drama, but I'm mean and nasty. I'm a terrible person. Mothers aren't supposed to be terrible people."
"You're not s terrible person, Heather," he said.
"Uh...yes I am! Isn't that why you love me?!"
"I love you because you're you. You're not afraid to say what's on your mind, no matter how insulting of degrading it may be. However, I know you're not mean enough to be a terrible mother. I know you, Heather. I know that you can be sweet and caring when you want to."
"Yeah, but the only person that's been deserving of my kindness is you." She snuggled up to him.
"Yes, but shouldn't your own child be just as deserving? He or she did not do anything wrong." Heather frowned. He's...right. This was a fight she could not win. No matter what, the baby was always going to be innocent until it grew up and did things...did things that would ruin them. Met people that completely changed them from a good to a bad person. Suddenly, she felt sick.
"Alejandro..."
"Yes, mi amor?"
"I don't want our baby to turn out like...me."
His eyes widened, completely taken aback. "Heather, you are incredible. You're smart, funny, talented, and beautiful."
"And you can be all of that without being a good person," she replied doubtfully.
"Very true, but we can teach our child to be kind to others...to a point." Heather laughed, wiping her tears away.
"I...guess?"
Just then, Sierra came through the door, a concerned look on her face. "Hey," she waved nervously.
"We're having private time right now," Alejandro said. "So if you would kindly leave-"
"Alejandro," Heather interrupted gently. "It's fine. What do you want, Sierra?"
"Well, I was just coming in here to grab my sunblock, but I was...worried about you. About the video?"
The Asian's eyes widened. "You were...worried?" She said the word as if it were a bad taste in her mouth. "About me?"
"Well yeah," the purple-haired girl nodded, looking down. "I was, um...wondering if you-"
"Yes."
"Huh?"
"Yes." Heather took a deep breath. "I am keeping the baby. Now get out!"
"Fine!" She threw her hands up, quickly grabbing her sunscreen and running out the door.
Alejandro smiled down at his fiancé, stroking her cheek and pulling her in for a tender kiss. "Are you sure? I know I was just trying to convince you, but I don't want to force you to-"
Heather cut him off with another kiss. "Yes, Alejandro."
He kissed her again. "I love you."
"I love you too."
