Epilogue

A/n- This really sucks, but oh well.

Oh my gosh, I love that color!" Courtney excitedly pointed up as a purple firework filled the night sky. Duncan had his arm wrapped securely around her waist and although the lights were pretty, he was more focused on her. The way her expressions changed so quickly was the most adorable thing he'd ever seen.

"Hey Courtney?"

"Hmm?" She turned towards him.

"You're cute." She playfully stuck out her tongue at him and he chuckled, planting a chaste kiss on her cheek.

It was their last night on the island and although not every competitor stayed for that last week, the remaining ones wanted to make it memorable.

Surprisingly, Owen has convinced Noah to stay. But he was sitting back behind everybody, reading a book quietly to himself and showed no interest in the fireworks.

Owen and Izzy had also gotten back together and they sat the closest to the fireworks, although Owen thought it was insane and jumped every time he saw the ashes fall near them on the grass.

Meanwhile, Tyler had picked a red rose and handed it to Lindsay, who spent at least ten minutes gaping at it and trying to figure out what kind of flower it was before eventually taking it.

Gwen and Trent sat next to Bridgette and Geoff and enjoyed chocolate chip cookies.

"Man," Geoff smiled up at the sky. "I'm really digging his. Aren't you, Bridge?" His wife nodded and rested her head on his shoulder.

"We should've went somewhere with fireworks on our honeymoon."

"We could have a second honeymoon?" He suggested.

"Don't be ridiculous," she rolled her eyes. "We don't need to spend more money. I was just saying."

Gwen smirked, turning to her boyfriend. "If we every get married, I want our honeymoon to be at a haunted house."

The musician's eyes widened. "Uh..."

"Just kidding," she laughed. "I'm not that demented. But I would like to at least have the ceremony there. We could invite everyone from the show and all go through."

"Hell yeah sister!" Geoff threw his fist in the air. "I love for that!"

"He really doesn't," Bridgette whispered, shaking her head with a small giggle.

Mike and Zoey were both laying on the grass with a soft blanket under them. Mike has his hand on Zoey's stomach and she had her head on his chest.

"I know It sounds cheesy," he started. "But you're more beautiful than all of these fireworks combined."

"Oh Mike," she giggled.

"And I can't wait for this little munchkin to arrive!" He chuckled, gently rubbing her stomach.

"Mmm...me neither," the redhead smiled, snuggling deeper into his chest. Then she frowned. "I just feel bad for Heather and Alejandro. We're celebrating my pregnancy while she had a miscarriage."

"Hey," he reassured, lifting her chin up. "You helped Heather get through it. And that's all that matters. We couldn't do anything about what happened. You're such a caring person and that's why I love you."

"I love you too." Zoey tenderly kissed his lips and he reciprocated.

"You know," Alejandro started, wrapping his arm around Heather, who had his shirt draped over her shoulders like a blanket. "When we get home tomorrow I want to do something for you."

The Asian raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"Anything you want," he answered.

"Hmm..." She bit her lip in thought. "I think just being with you is enough." She leaned forwards and slowly kissed his jawline. "We could cuddle...watch movies..."

Alejandro smirked suggestively. "Have lots of sex?"

"Oh yeah," she nodded, continuing to plant kisses down his neck. "We have a lot of catching up to do on that."

"Dios, Heather," he groaned. "You're making me wanna start right now."

He felt her lips curl up into a smile on his neck. "Just enjoy the fireworks, babe." The Spaniard rolled his eyes.

Although none of them knew what the future would hold, one thing was for sure: nobody wanted to ever see Chris McLean or be on Total Drama again.
