Do You Dare? (Deather)
A/N: okay so I had no inspiration for this one-shot, so I decided to go with a standard truth-or-dare with a ton of Deather moments sprinkled in. Sorry if this wasn't what you had in mind :(.
also sorry it took me so long. I started in-person school and I've already forgotten to turn in three homework assignments.
I hope you enjoy!
-THIS TAKES PLACE DURING ALL-STARS.-
"Okay. My turn. Sierra. Truth or dare?" Sierra bounced on her heels as she pondered the age old question. Chris had gotten everyone hyped up on sugar, as to make things more "interesting."
"Truth!" Sierra said. "Hit me with your best shot."
Duncan smirked and passed a note to Heather, who had asked the question. Heather took it discreetly, and, faking a cough, turned away so she could read what Duncan had written down.
Ask her about her obsession with Cody in World Tour. Heather grinned.
"Sierra. What happened in World Tour? What was with the obsession with Cody all about?" Sierra sighed.
"I love Codykins. I have ever since I first saw him on TV. I want to protect him so no harm can come his way. He reminds me so much of my little brother." Courtney frowned.
"But... I thought you were an only child?" Sierra looked away.
"I am now."
Silence fell over the entire All-Stars cast.
Everyone... except for Scott.
"Wait, why are you an only child now?" Nine pairs of eyes turned to stare at him. Scott, puzzled, turned to Courtney with a help me look in his eyes. Courtney, sighing, leaned over and whispered it in to his ear.
"HER BROTHER'S DEAD?" Scott shrieked. Jo stood up, walked over, and slapped him.
"Idiot!" The cast looked at Sierra, who's eyes were blank and unfocused. She obviously didn't like to talk about her brother, but she had no choice. Chris had so kindly supplied them with shock bracelets- they lied, they got a shock.
"Anyway..." Heather cleared her throat. "I don't think Sierra's gonna ask, so the person next to her is up." That person was Courtney. She glared at Gwen, and the entire cast winced. Chris, on the other hand, grinned. (he's thirsty for tea) However, to everyone's surprise, she picked the Italian MPD.
"Mike. Truth or Dare?" Mike smiled.
"Truth."
"Hm... do you think Duncan was right to cheat on me?" The cast groaned.
"Uh... no?" Courtney, satisfied with his answer, smiled. Gwen flinched and Duncan rolled his eyes, shooting a what a bish glance at Heather. "Anyways... Jo! Truth or Dare?" Jo smirked.
"Dare, obviously." Mike thought for a moment.
"I dare you to answer a truth." Jo frowned.
"Can he do that?" Chris nodded. Jo shrugged. "Okay, hit me."
"Did you know Brick before ROTI?" Jo tensed, eyes widening.
"No." Suddenly, there was a hiss and Jo yelped. "Stupid shock bracelets!" Once she realized everyone was looking at her, she scowled. "What?"
"You lied," Cameron said calmly. "That's why you were shocked. We're waiting on you to tell the truth."
Jo, refusing to make eye contact with anyone, snarled, "Yes. I knew Brick before ROTI aired. Happy now?"
"Where did you know him from?" asked Mike.
"I completed my stupid dare. It's my turn now," she snapped. Duncan whistled.
"Touch-y." Heather slipped a note to Duncan, grinning viciously at Jo's anger. Duncan quietly unfolded it and read the scrawled writing. Pry her about Brick. Clearly she doesn't like to talk about him, and this could be a great chance to get blackmail. Duncan mirrored Heather's smirk and nodded. As much as Duncan didn't like the idea of Heather being in charge, he hated Jo even more. And, Heather was on good terms with Courtney at the moment, so Duncan would do anything and everything he could to get back on Courtney's okay side.
"Hm... Lightning. Truth or dare?"
"Sha-dare! Lightning ain't a chicken!" Jo's grin widened.
"I dare you to go skinning-dipping with someone in the lake. You can chose anyone but me." Lightning shrugged, trying to pretend like Jo's dare was trivial and dumb.
"Sha-fine. Lightning chooses little nerd man." Cameron gulped, pointing a finger at himself.
"Me?"
"Sha-yeah! Come on, let's sha-go." Lightning picked Cameron up by his shirt collar and dragged him towards the lake. Jo cackled and everyone else watched in amusement as Cameron struggled against Lightning's grip. They got far enough away so that the other cast members couldn't see them before stripping down. Despite the distance between them, they could still hear Cameron protesting vehemently. In response, Lighting picked him up like a rag doll and yeeted him into the water. The entire cast (including Chris, Chef, and the camera people) laughed manically as they watched the scene unfold.
After a few minutes, Lightning returned, dragging a soaking wet (but now fully clothed) Cameron behind him. "Sha-finished! It's my turn now." His beady eyes scanned the crowd, looking for his next target.
"Zoey. Sha-truth or sha-dare?"
"Truth!" Lightning groaned.
"Lighting don't have no truths! Pick sha-dare!" Zoey sighed.
"Fine, dare."
"I dare you to beat me in an arm wrestle!" Zoey nodded. She rolled up her sleeve and set her elbow firmly on a stump. Lightning grinned and grasped her hand. Heather began counting down.
"Three, two-"
"Hey! Who said you were the ref?" Heather rolled her eyes.
"You wanna do it?" Jo sighed.
"No..."
"I didn't think so. Three, two, one, go!"
To everyone's surprise, Zoey easily beat Lightning and retook her seat with a victorious grin. Lightning, shooketh about being defeated by the seemingly defenseless Zoey, angrily plopped back down.
"Hm... Duncan, truth or dare?"
"Ehhhh... dare." Zoey smiled.
"I dare you to get up and hug the hottest girl here." She basically told Duncan to ask for a beating. He had to chose carefully. No way was he picking Gwen or Courtney- that was a death sentence. As much as he liked causing chaos, he decided against hugging Sierra, Jo, or Zoey, even though he didn't think they were the hottest. That title would belong to Courtney, obviously, but he didn't want Gwen to dump him if he hugged her. That left...
Duncan sighed, got up, and hugged Heather. Alejandro's expression darkened and he clenched his hands into fists. Heather grinned and sent a thankful nod Duncan's direction. He knew she was itching for a way to make Al jealous, and by doing so, saved him from getting beaten up by an angry Courtney.
"Okay... Heather. Truth or Dare?" Heather pretended to sigh, knowing that Duncan was trying to prevent the others from seeing their unspoken alliance.
"Truth."
"Do you admit to having feelings for Alejandro here in Season 3?" Heather gasped. How could Duncan betray her like that?
"No! Of course not. I would never fall for a loser like Don Juan." Heather waited for the shock to come, but surprisingly, she didn't even feel a buzz. Huh. Interesting.
That's when she saw Duncan holding a screwdriver. She felt the back of her bracelet, and confirmed that it had been tampered with and no longer worked. Heather beamed, and Duncan knew he had sealed the deal on the alliance.
A/N: This was a horrible one-shot, I know, but I literally had no inspiration for this. Again, sorry if this sucked but I am so done with life right now.
SKYLORD OUT!
