Episode 9

"Last time on Total Drama Minecraft Returns, the mobs had to survive the Zombie apocalypse. Jamey and Jesse tried to get everyone on the other team killed, but Ory the Killer Bunny took care of them. In the end, Wooly was the last one on his team, but only because some familiar faces named Porky and Mooshie saved him several times. Because Porky and Mooshie blew up the barn and Kain and Chloe died first, Wooly won the challenge for the Killer Creepers. The Screaming Zombies lucked out and didn't have to send anyone home, because I eliminated Porky and Mooshie. Again. What do I have in store for the mobs today? Find out right now, on Total Drama Minecraft Returns!" Herobrine said.

"We're lucky Porky and Mooshie came back. We could have lost another player last challenge," Kain said to the guys in their side of the cabin.

"Yeah, and that player would have been you," Jesse replied.

"What? No," Kain protested. "I basically carry this entire team."

"Then how come you lost for us?" Jesse smirked.

"I did not," Kain said.

"Yeah man, it was his girlfriend that did," Lloyd spoke up.

"She's not my girlfriend!" Kain exclaimed, reddening a little.

"Mhm, and the mule isn't a klutz." Jesse rolled his eyes.

"Hey!" Colton exclaimed.

"Look. All I'm saying is that we've lost the past three challenges," Kain said. "We can't lose any more."

~~~
Kain's Confessional (SZ)
"Why do they think Chloe is my girlfriend? We don't even hang out."
~~~

SZ

Jamey and Chloe sat in silence in their side of the cabin. They were both thinking.

What can I use to threaten her? Jamey wondered. What can I use to make her do things for me?

Does Kain like me? Chloe wondered. He seems to hate that I'm scared of everything. Should I try to change for him?

The two girls looked at each other, then looked away.

~~~
Jamey's Confessional (SZ)
"Maybe I can somehow use that boyfriend of hers against her...I'll talk to Jesse about it."
Wooly and Jack were sitting silently on their beds in their side of the cabin.
Oh, and Ech was there, too.
"You should be disqualified," Jack said out of the blue.
"For what?" Wooly asked.
"Porky and Mooshie were only trying to help you," Jack answered. "And you took their help. You should be eliminated."
"I didn't know they were trying to help me!" Wooly protested. "And I didn't ask them to!"
"Yeah, okay," Jack replied. "They helped you win last season, too. If it weren't for them, Cocoa would have won."
"You helped me win, too!" Wooly exclaimed. "If it weren't for you, I would have lost!"
"Don't think I did it for you, kid," Jack said. "I did it so the pathetic cow wouldn't win."
"Why is Cocoa pathetic?" Ech asked.
Jack jumped, and looked around until he saw Ech. He shook his head. "Because he stooped to Moolissa's level."
Ech just shrugged. Wooly had turned so he wasn't facing Jack.
Jack grinned.
Jack's Confessional (KC)
"I think I made the kid mad. Mission success."
"There's gotta be some kind of clue that tells us what the password is," Stella said. Pola and Wilbur were lying on the floor next to her, surrounding Tac's phone.
"Maybe there's something in her lock screen picture," Pola suggested.
"You gotta be high," Wilbur replied.
Stella and Pola narrowed their eyes.
Sherry suddenly shot into the air. "My motherly senses are tingling."
"What?" Ory asked.
"My son...is being bullied!" Sherry yelled. She rushed out the door.
"Challenge time!" Herobrine announced.
~~~

Ory's Confessional (KC)

"Sherry is kind of annoying. Maybe we should vote her off."

~~~
The fourteen remaining mobs were teleported to the top of a very high mountain. About twenty blocks away, separated from them by thin air, was the peak of another mountain.
"Wilbur..." Stella started.
But then Herobrine appeared. "Welcome to your next challenge!"
"W-What are we doing up here?" Sherry demanded. "This is too dangerous for my son!"
Herobrine sighed. "I'm aware. Anyway, the next challenge is to get as many of your teammates across this tightrope."
He snapped his fingers, and a thin wire-like rope appeared, attached to a mountain peak at each end. Chloe whimpered.
"No! What if Woolington falls?!" Sherry yelled.
"Don't," Herobrine shrugged.
"What kind of challenge is this?" Jack snorted.
"Look man, the author doesn't have enough time to write a really long challenge like last episode, so suck it up and walk across the tightrope," Herobrine snapped.
"I refuse to let my son do this!" Sherry shouted.
"Whichever team gets more of their teammates to the other mountain wins," Herobrine explained, ignoring the sheep. "You only get one try. If you fall, you don't make it. The losing team will be sending someone home this time."
"This isn't fair," Kain spoke up. "We only have six players. They have eight."
"My son and I will sit out!" Sherry exclaimed.
"No!" the rest of the Killer Creepers shouted.
"Wooly is like, the best player on our team," Ory said.
"Hey!" Jack exclaimed.
"Wait a minute, there's only seven of us, not eight," Wilbur said.
Ech sighed.
"I can sit out," Pola mumbled.
"Nobody is sitting out!" Herobrine yelled over the commotion. "The Screaming Zombies just have to try harder to get their players across the tightrope."
"That ain't fair, man," Lloyd said.
"Should've thought of that before you lost the past three challenges," Herobrine sassed back. "Anyway, one at a time! Killer Creepers are up first with someone. Begin!"
~~~

Sherry's Confessional (KC)

"I know I say it a lot, but I'm even more serious about this! It's too dangerous! I know from...experience..."

~~~
Chloe's Confessional (SZ)
"Oh no. I have a fear of heights! And of...everything else."
~~~

KC

"Who wants to go first?" Ory asked her team cheerfully.

"High," Wilbur said as a greeting as he stepped forward. "Get it? Hi and hig--"

"Just go!" Jack interrupted.

Wilbur muttered something and stepped up to the tightrope.

"Tight," he grinned to himself as he stepped onto the rope. He started to carefully walk across.

"He made a 'high' joke earlier, too," Pola whispered to Stella. "What's going on with him?"

"I don't know. But we need to get to the bottom of it," Stella whispered back.

Wilbur was about halfway across when a strong gust of wind started to blow. The pig tried to keep his balance, but fell off the tightrope.

"How did I wind up like this?!" Wilbur called as he fell.

"Wilbur is out! Next up, someone from the Screaming Zombies," Herobrine announced.

SZ

"I'll go first, dudes," Lloyd volunteered before any of the Screaming Zombies said anything.

"Don't fall," Kain ordered. "We need to get all six of us over to win."

"Not if the other team gets less than six," Colton pointed out.

"But we don't know how many they'll get!" Kain snapped. "Just...try to make it. Please?"

"You got it, man," Lloyd replied. He stepped onto the tightrope.

The Screaming Zombies watched in apprehension as Lloyd casually made his way across the rope. About a third of the way there, he craned his long neck to look back at his team.

"This is easy!" Lloyd called.

As he turned back around, a gust of wind knocked him off the rope.

Kain groaned.

"Lloyd is out!" Herobrine announced. "Next up, someone from the Killer Creepers!"

KC

"Anyone want to go next?" Ory asked.

Wooly stepped forward. "I will."

Sherry stepped in front of him. "No you won't."

"Mom," Wooly said.

"No," Sherry said firmly. Wooly noticed something different about her voice.

"Whatever. I can go," Jack broke the awkward silence that followed. He stepped onto the tightrope.

Wooly pulled his mother aside. "Mom. What's wrong?"

"Nothing. I just don't want my baby falling," Sherry replied without looking at him.

Wooly stared at his mother. "You're acting strange. What is it?"

"I said it's nothing!" Sherry snapped. "Just...I don't want to lose you, too."

Wooly's eyebrows furrowed. Sherry must have realized she slipped, because her eyes widened. "Excuse me."

She walked away. Wooly didn't know where she was going, but he didn't follow her.

Jack made it to the other mountain. He shouted triumphantly, but they couldn't hear what he said.

"That's one point for the Killer Creepers," Herobrine announced. "Next up, someone from the Screaming Zombies."

~~~
Sherry's Confessional (KC)
"I can't let him know about...that day."
~~~

SZ

"There are only five of us left," Kain said. "We need to get all five of us across."

"Technically--"

"Shut up, Colton," Kain interrupted. "How about you go next?"

Colton's eyes widened. "Me? I can't."

"You have to go at some point."

"No, I don't."

"If you want to win this challenge, you do," Kain said. "Now go."

"That stupid klutz won't make it past a few blocks," Jamey smirked.

"Yeah!" Jesse added. "He's too clumsy!"

Jamey sighed.

"Oh yeah?" Colton muttered to himself. "I'll show you."

Then Colton sprinted across the tightrope.

"What is he doing?!" Kain yelled.

In a matter of seconds, Colton was on the other mountain.

Jamey's and Jesse's jaws dropped.

"Well. That took care of that," Kain said.

"That's a point for the Screaming Zombies," Herobrine announced. "Next up, someone from the Killer Creepers."

Colton's Confessional (SZ)

"I'm surprised that worked, to be honest."

KC

"Who's next?" Ory asked cheerfully.

"Do you want to try?" Stella asked Pola.

"Sure," Pola mumbled. She stepped forward.

"Alright, Pola!" Ory exclaimed. "Go ahead!"

The polar bear started to inch her way across the tightrope.

Everyone except Wooly and Sherry watched anxiously.

Sherry had gone down the mountain a bit to sit on a rock by herself. She was still pretty high up, but she wasn't looking at the beautiful view in front of her. She was turned to face the mountainside.

Wooly was walking down the mountain to find her. He saw her sitting by herself, and plopped down on the rock next to her.

Neither of them spoke.

Meanwhile, Pola had almost made it to the other mountain. Suddenly, there was a gust of wind.

Pola almost lost her balance, but she managed to keep it. She took the final step to the other mountain.

"That's another point for the Killer Creepers," Herobrine announced. "Next up, someone from the Screaming Zombies."

"Hey, Chloe," Kain said. "You okay?"

Chloe was visibly shaking. "No."

"What's wrong?" Kain asked.

"I'm af-f-fraid of heights," Chloe answered.

"Of course you are," Kain muttered under his breath. "Look. It's not that bad. If you do fall, Herobrine will resurrect you. You won't die."

"It's not d-d-d-dying I'm worried about."

"Yo! Scardey-Cat!" Jesse shouted. "Get a move on! It's your turn!"

Kain turned to face the two horses. "Why can't you go?"

Jesse opened his mouth, then closed it again. He turned to Jamey. "Why can't I go?"

Jamey sighed again. "Just go," she muttered.

"And you better make it," Kain said as Jesse stepped onto the tightrope.

Chloe continued to shake. Kain looked around, trying to figure out how to comfort her.

Jesse made it to the other mountain.

"See?" Kain asked Chloe. "It's not dangerous. Only a third of the people who have gone have fallen."

Chloe whimpered.

"That's another point for the Screaming Zombies!" Herobrine announced. "Killer Creepers, you're up next!"

***

KC

"Any more volunteers?" Ory asked her team.

"I can go," Stella said. She stepped onto the tightrope and started walking across it with ease.

"Wow, she's good," Ory whispered to--

Wait. There was nobody there.

"Yes, there is," Ech sighed.

Oh yeah.

Meanwhile, Wooly and Sherry were still sitting on the rock away from everyone else.

"Mom? Who else did you lose up here?"

Sherry exhaled deeply. "It wasn't this specific mountain, Woolington. But it was just like this one."

"What happened?" Wooly asked.

"My...friend and I decided to go mountain climbing one day. I thought it would be a great idea. I loved adventure."

Wooly almost snorted, but he thought better of it.

"So we climbed up a mountain together. It was the most fun day of my life," Sherry continued. "We made it to the top, and there was this tower of rocks away from the peak, separated by four blocks of nothingness."

Wooly saw where this was going, and he didn't like it.

"Being the idiot that I was, I dared my friend to jump to those rocks. This friend wasn't one to back down from a challenge, so they......tried it."

"Did your friend make it?" Wooly asked hopefully.

Sherry shook her head. "He didn't make the jump, and fell all the way to the ground."

Wooly shuddered. Then, he raised an eyebrow. "He?"

"Yes, he," Sherry replied. "That 'friend' was my fiancé.

"In other words, your father."

"That's another point for the Killer Creepers," Herobrine announced as Stella made it to the other mountain. "Screaming Zombies are up next."

***

SZ

"It's really not that scary, Chloe," Kain said. "Falling just feels like bungee jumping. But without the bungee."

Chloe shut her eyes even tighter than they already were and tried to shrink away from him.

"Can you go, Jamey?" Kain asked. "I'm kinda busy here."

"You can't tell me what to do," Jamey mumbled, but she stepped onto the tightrope anyway.

"Look, we're only like two hundred blocks up. The fall will be over in no time," Kain said. He winced. "Except you won't fall. Because you'll make it across that rope."

Chloe didn't reply.

"You can do what Colton did. Just run across as fast as you can. It will be over with quickly."

Chloe didn't reply.

"Look, Chloe, we're still tied, so unless all of them fall, we need to get all of our teammates across."

Chloe didn't reply.

Jamey made it to the other mountain.

"That's another point for the Screaming Zombies!" Herobrine announced. "The score is still tied! Next up, Killer Creepers!"

~~~
Kain's Confessional (SZ)
"She's so difficult to comfort! Ugh!"
~~~

KC

"I'll go next," Ech said to Ory. He landed on the ground and started to walk across the tightrope.

Meanwhile, Wooly and Sherry were still on their rock.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner," Sherry said to break the silence.

"It's okay, mom," Wooly replied. "I just wish I knew that was why you're so overprotective."

"Yes, that is the reason. I can't lose another of my babies," Sherry turned to face Wooly.

"I love you, mom," Wooly hugged his mother.

Sherry hugged him back. "I love you too, son."

Meanwhile, Ech was about halfway across the tightrope.

"Well, I don't know where Sherry or Wooly are, so I guess I'll go," Ory said to herself. She hopped onto the tightrope.

This caused the tightrope to jiggle. Ech tried to steady himself with his wings, but at that moment, a gust of wind blew. It caught his wings and flung him off the tightrope.

Ory was suddenly pushed back onto the mountain by an invisible force.

"Ech is out!" Herobrine announced. "Next up, Screaming Zombies!"

"Wait...Ech is here?" Ory asked.

***

SZ

"Alright, we can't let them get more than one more mob over there. And we need to get both of us over there to win," Kain said to Chloe. "Will you go? For me?"

Chloe looked up at Kain. They looked into each other's eyes, like they had been doing during the Zombie apocalypse.

"Okay. I'll go," Chloe said.

"Really?" Kain asked. "It was that easy?"

Chloe nodded. "Do you want me to make it harder?"

"No, no, no. Just go."

Chloe stepped onto the tightrope. Then, she sprinted across it.

Since she was an ocelot, she ran much faster than Colton. She made it to the other side in a few seconds.

"Yes!" Kain exclaimed.

"That's another point for the Screaming Zombies!" Herobrine announced. "They are now ahead by one point! Killer Creepers, you're up next!"

***

KC

"Okay...I guess I'll go this time?" Ory asked around her. But this time, there really was nobody there.

Ory shrugged and started to hop across the tightrope.

A gust of wind blew when she was about halfway across. She almost fell off, but kept her balance.

Meanwhile, Sherry and Wooly were still hugging.

"You're--choking--me--" Wooly grunted.

Sherry stepped back. "Sorry."

Wooly laughed. "It's okay."

"Will you sit out with me?" Sherry asked.

Wooly glanced up the mountain, where Ory was almost at the end of the tightrope. Then, he looked back at his mother.

"Of course, mom."

"That's another point for the Killer Creepers!" Herobrine announced. "It's all tied up! Can the Screaming Zombies pull ahead?"

***

SZ

"Okay Kain, you got this," Kain muttered to himself. "If you make it across and those two don't, we win."

He stepped onto the tightrope. It immediately started jiggling. He took a deep breath.

Then, Kain started to walk across the tightrope.

"Don't look down, don't look down, don't look down," he mumbled as he took his steps.

When he was almost to the other mountain, there was another gust of wind. Kain was knocked off the rope, but he grabbed it with his mouth before he fell all the way.

"Well this is a predicament," he said through the rope in his mouth.

Kain pulled himself up and walked the rest of the way to the other mountain.

"The Screaming Zombies pull ahead once again!" Herobrine announced. "But can the Killer Creepers win? They--"

"Woolington and I are going to sit out," Sherry interrupted.

"What?" Herobrine asked.

"My son and I are not participating in this challenge," Sherry repeated.

"You can't do that," Herobrine said. "You either participate, or you forfeit the challenge for your team."

"Then we forfeit," Wooly said.

Herobrine looked at Wooly incredulously. He was agreeing with his mother?

The Killer Creepers started yelling at Wooly not to forfeit, but it was too late.

"Are you sure?" Herobrine asked after appearing in front of him.

"Yes," Wooly answered.

Herobrine shrugged. "The Screaming Zombies win! Killer Creepers, it's time to send someone home!"

Ory's Confessional (KC)

"Did Sherry really not let Wooly go across the tightrope? Ugh, she's so overprotective."

Stella's Confessional (KC)

"Sherry is just holding Wooly back."

Sherry's Confessional (KC)

"I didn't want Woolington to know about his father...I can't believe I told him. Anyway, I'm voting off Jack. He was bullying my son."

The eight remaining Killer Creepers sat on logs around the blazing campfire. Herobrine appeared, a tray of brown mushrooms in hand.

"Your team lost, because the two sheep were cowards," he said.

Sherry shrunk back a little. Wooly glanced at her, then narrowed his eyes at Herobrine.

"If I call your name and toss you a brown mushroom, you are safe," Herobrine said.

"Stella."

"Ech."

"Pola."

"Wilbur."

"Ory."

"Wooly."

It was down to Sherry and Jack. Jack glowered at everyone. Sherry looked at the floor.

"The last mushroom goes to..."

"Jack."

"What?! No!" Wooly exclaimed.

"Sherry, you're going home," Herobrine said.

Sherry sighed. "I know."

"Mom! You can't go!" Wooly said frantically. "I'll go instead!"

Sherry smiled at him. "No, son. You can win this again."

"But...it's too dangerous! I can't stay here by myself!" Wooly exclaimed.

"You can handle it, Woolington."

Sherry and Herobrine disappeared.

Wooly fell to the ground in despair. He looked around at his fellow teammates, who all looked extremely surprised that Sherry had said that.

***

Sherry reappeared in the Catapult of Shame. Herobrine appeared next to her.

"Any last words, Mrs. Woolsworth?" Herobrine asked.

"Good luck, Wooly," Sherry whispered.

"Lol k," Herobrine said.

He pulled the lever, and Sherry was flung off into the night.

"What more do I have in store for the mobs? How will Jamey use Kain against Chloe? What is going on with Wilbur's puns? And how will Wooly deal with this new information about his father? Find out next time, on Total Drama Minecraft Returns!" Herobrine said.
