The big sleep
It was the second day after the challenge and Trent and Gwen were relaxing at the dock. They had spent the day before recovering from the disaster that was the first challenge and were using today to just relax and mentally prepare themselves for the challenge tomorrow. Trent was swimming laps in the ocean while Gwen was watching with a smile as the musician swam.
CC-Gwen
"Okay I'm not saying that I'm crushing on Trent." Gwen denied with a shake of her head and a frown before she smiled slightly. "But I will say that out of everyone here he's the one I'm able to connect with the most so far." Gwen admitted before frowning again. "Again not a crush."
Static
The two were simply enjoying the silence at the moment until Trent suddenly stopped having noticed Cody and Tyler running up to them quickly. "Hey Gwen." He shouted while pointing in their direction. Frowning Gwen turned to see the two approaching boys and had to fight to keep the frown from appearing on her face.
The two stopped in front of them before hunching over as they tried to catch their breathe. "I'm sorry did you need something?" Gwen asked not being able to keep the annoyance from her tone. Trent meanwhile climbed on the dock. While he was also annoyed by the interruption, he was nice enough to give the two the benefit of the doubt.
"What's wrong guys?" He asked before jumping back as Tyler suddenly straitened up and yelled. "Wes and Vergil are about to go at it!" The musician and Goth's eyes widened in shock. "Explain!" Gwen demanded her annoyance long gone as her curiosity was screaming out to know what was going on.
"Well it went like this." Cody said once he caught his breath. "A bunch of us were hanging out around the cabins when Eva and Owen arrived."
FlashBack
Tyler Cody, Ducan, Wes, Vergil and Geoff were hanging around the cabins with Tyler and Geoff throwing a foot ball around. "Dude go long!" Tyler shouted before throwing the foot ball with all his might only for it to go barely any further than his normal throws. The party boy laughed. "I got it dude!" He shouted as he was about to grab it only for Owen to appear out of nowhere and grab it.
"Owen! Nice interception dude!" Tyler praised shouting the glutton two thumbs up. "Yo where've you been man?" Geoff laughed. "In the woods training with Eva." He answered pointing towards Eva who emerged from the woods. "Training? Yeah right." Duncan chortled highly doubtful that was what the couple was up to. Eva scowled. "Yeah we were. Just because we're competing on a reality show doesn't mean Owen here can neglect his training for the gates." The bodybuilder told the punk.
Before he could respond Wes hummed. "You know that's actually a good point." The ashen haired teen muttered before scratching his chin. "The lack of action and combat may make our skills a little rusty in these 8 weeks." He said with Vergil nodded. "Yeah that's a good point. but the question is how to keep those skills sharp?"
The two thought about it for a second before glancing at each other and it hit them at once as smiles came to both their faces.
"You know I'll admit it." Vergil said standing up and cracking his knuckles. "A part of me always wondered how I'd fair in a fight against you." Vergil told the American who smirked and stood. "So Canada's Shaman King wants to take me on? Can't exactly say no to that." He laughed as the two walked down the steps with Vergil stretching out his limbs with Wes cracking his neck and knuckles.
They passed Owen who placed himself in front of Eva while sweating nervously and Eva didn't protest the protection. With the boys, they weren't sure on what to do at the moment as they watched the two monsters walked to the center of the clearing their cabins were located in.
"Guys." Duncan whispered at last getting the others attention. "Go get everyone else." He said before a grin came to their face.
"They're going to want to see this."
Flashback End
Trent and Gwen stood there gaping for a moment before their brains rebooted themselves and they started running for camp with Tyler and Cody quickly behind them.
When they finally got there they saw they were the last to arrive. As every camper minus Courtney was there standing by the cabins with various amounts of excitement while the enhanced stood a little bit in front of them with Chef standing in the middle of them telling them something serious judging by the expression the man was wearing while Harold looked extremely reluctant to even be there.
Off to the side Chris was talking with a camera man as he set it up. "Come on, hurry it up! I don't want to miss a single second of this!" The host told the man who nodded. "Don't worry boss with these crystal powered cameras everything will come in loud and clear." He promised getting a nod from the host. More and more devices these days were being charged and run on magic crystals that were found in dungeons, and Chris made sure each of his camera's ran on them.
'Of course he isn't stopping this.' Gwen thought with a scowl as she headed over to Chef, keeping her eyes on the two powerful enhanced who looked like they were growing more and more impatient.
"You just wanna do this another time?" Wes asked Vergil who thought about it for a moment before ultimately sighing and shaking his head. "No point, it'd probably be the thing all over again." The shaman reasoned getting a nod from Wes.
"Alright I think we're ready." Chef muttered having been instructing the other enhanced on what they were going to be doing to guard everyone else in case the match got out of control. "Uh Chef, maybe you should stop this?" Gwen suggested with her hands on her hips.
Chef just looked at her skeptically. "And just how on god's green earth do you expect me to do that?" He asked with a scoff getting Gwen to look away being unable to answer.. "That's what I thought besides there's nothing in their contracts that prevent them from sparing with each other." He told the goth.
"A spar?!" Gwen demanded with Chef shrugging. "That's what they're calling it." He answered before pointing behind him. "Now you might want to get behind us or things could get messy." Chef suggested with Gwen nodding quickly and going to join the others including Trent, Tyler and Cody.
"Where's Courtney?" Gwen asked getting a scoff from Leshawna. "The queen decided she was above watching this and went to the cabin instead." She answered her tone still filled with bitterness.
CC-Leshawna
"So I've been thinking and maybe voting off the sexist moron was a mistake." The sister said. "Between Courtney the queen bitch who gave away one of our strongest teammates and Harold the enhanced who's somehow weaker than an average human but more arrogant than anyone has any right to be we might have jumped the gun."
Static
"Alright we're ready!" Chris said as the cameraman held up the camera. "And rolling!" The host shouted with the hunters breathing out in relief. "So how do you want to do this?" Wes asked not wanting to waste anymore time. "Nothing too big. Just enough to make sure we keep our skills sharp." The shaman answered as he reached into his inventory and brought up out two katana. "Now then shall we get started?" Vergil asked getting into a fighting stance.
Wes seeing this snorted. "You say you don't want to go to big and yet you do this." Wes snorted as he gestured to his fighting stance. "Oh you know this stance?" Vergil asked with Wes nodding. "I would recognize the stance Musashi Miyamoto anywhere."
Vergil smirked and nodded. "Yeah when I was around ten I realized I needed to increase my close combat so I called him up and got him to teach me the basics. The rest I came up with on my own." The one eyed teen explained getting an exasperated smile from Wes. "You don't do anything half assed do you?" He asked before hatches on his hands opened thanks to the Castle-Castle Fruit and two axes appeared. "Well shall we begin?" He suggested as he moved into his own battle stance.
Chef stepped forward nervously and raised his arm. "Alright sirs, I've turned the nullifiers on per your request but remember to keep your strength in check." He reminded them having breathed out a sigh of relief when they asked him to turn the nullifiers on for their match but was still nervous all the same. Seeing the two nod Chef knew he couldn't but it off any longer and brought his arm down.
"Begin!"
'Shave.' Izuku thought disappearing from sight and reappearing behind from the shaman and going for a strike to his back.
CLANG
Only for Vergil to suddenly be facing him, the katanas lodged into the ground and preventing the axes from moving. "Sorry saw that coming." Vergil explained "Nice try though." He said before aiming a kick for the American's face.
Only to flinch back. 'It felt like I kicked steel.' He thought with a wince that forced his eye shut allowing Wes to deliver an uppercut to the teen's chin sending the shaman flying. "Well did you see my Iron Body coming?" Wes asked before picking his axes. "Now let's see how you handle this." Wes challenged before once more vanishing with a Shave appearing right above Vergil, his left hand axe raised high.
Vergil quickly crossed his arms in front of him and applied Hardening the best he could only getting a smirk from Wes who applied Hardening to his axe and brought it down with such force that it blasted Vergil back to the ground. "Ready to give up yet?" Wes asked getting a scoff from Vergil.
"Please." He said standing with his katanas back in his hands. "This is where the real fight starts."
As the two continued their sparing match Cody couldn't help but wince. "Man I didn't think it would be this one sided." He muttered his Canadian pride a little hurt seeing one of their finest hunters getting tossed around. Chef however grunted. "No this is actually going about how I was expecting it." He told the geek with Heather, Owen and Izzy nodding.
"But Vergil is an s class, shouldn't he be having an easier time?" DJ asked with Owen shaking his head no. "If he had access to all his powers yes but with his powers cut off he's incredibly limited." Owen explained as Heather took over the explanation.
"A shaman's main strength relies on his ability to connect his soul to spirts and natures that empower him and allow him access to various powers and abilities. True he can relay on the skill set he's learned from the various spirts he's summoned but it's not that same level of actually summoning the spirt to assist him."
"The supreme leader on the other hand has multiple options." Izzy took up the explanation with a grin. "Not only does he have the skills he picked up through becoming the greatest assassin class hunter, he's also a weapons specialist and knows a few martial arts." The orange flash grinned. "Even with his powers cut off Supreme Leader simply has more options and his body is better conditioned for the current match."
"Vergil isn't weak by any means." Chef reminded the non enhanced. "He's just at an incredible disadvantage. He can still win, he just needs to get creative." The berserker finished the explanation with the non enhanced looking back to the field with a newfound understanding in their eyes.
CC-Duncan
"Okay so being a hunter is a lot more complicated than I thought." The punk said. "I thought it was all about power and who had the best gear. But now it's starting to sink in that it's not that simple." Duncan finished by scratching the back of his head.
Static
'This is getting me no where.' Vergil thought as he once more ducked another swing from Wes's axes before going to take a stab with his katana only for Wes to maneuver his axe to a position he could block the sword. With his other hand Wes brought down his second axe to swing at Vergil only for the shaman to be one the one to block this time. In a deadlock Vergil performed a sweeping leg kick only for Wes to drop his axe and grab his leg.
Wes swung the teen through the air and tried to slam him into the ground only for the cyclops to stop his decent by sticking his blades into the ground. 'Alright, let's try this.' Vergil thought using his upper body strength he managed to pull his blades out of the dirt and with an inhuman display of flexibly twisted his body and wrapped his free leg around the back of Wes's neck.
Bringing up his blades Vergil swung both blades towards either side of Wes's neck. "Try blocking this with one arm." Vergil challenged as Wes narrowed his eyes.
CLANG
BAM
Vergil was suddenly gasping and dropped his blades as the leg wrapped around Wes's neck went slack. and Wes let go of the shaman's leg allowing Vergil to fall to the ground. "Your Armament really is stronger than your Observation." Vergil said seeing the Hardening technique covering his neck.
The shaman did recover quickly and made some distanse and picked up his blades. "Well still want to continue?" Wes asked getting a nod from Vergil as he lifted his blades. "One last dance should be fine." The shaman said before shooting forward with his blades raised high. Wes raised his axes and crossed them in an X formation that blocked the strike.
Breaking the X formation Wes lunged forward and sent a barrage of strikes from the axe that Vergil was able to defend with relative ease. Using his shorter blade he tried to stab the assassin/mage only for Wes to turn his body to the side and swing his axe so it would connect with the tip of the blade, shattering it instantly.
Vergil released the broken hilt of his blade and after glancing towards it and then his older longer blade before sighing and raising his hands.
"I think this would be a good place to stop." Vergil suggested with a sheepish smile getting a nod from Wes as he lowered his axes.
Seeing this the campers started cheering. "That was awesome guys!" Chris shouted as he ran up to them with a grin and gave each of them a high five. "Tell me you got that!" He shouted to the cameraman who nodded. "Every second of it." He assured the host while showing him the footage. "Awesome!" He said before facing the enhanced. "Dudes feel free to spar whenever you want! Just try and do it in front of a camera." He asked getting nods from the two.
It was at this point the other campers approached them. "That was wicked guys!" Tyler said patting them on the back. "Yeah Vergy was like slice, slice, shing! And the supreme commander was slice Zhoom, zhoom, bang!" Izzy laughed as DJ looked the two over in concern.
"Are you two okay?" He asked not wanting his friends to be hurt. Wes nodded. "Yeah no problems here." He reassured the gentle giant before glancing over towards Vergil. "What about you?" He asked getting a nod from the teen. "I'm good. Chef's already deactivated the nullifiers so my injuries have already healed." Vergil told DJ who breathed out in relief.
"Man dudes you guys got some serious skills!" Geoff praised the two wrapping his arms around two shoulders. "Well what do you expect from two top grade hunters?" Duncan asked before smirking at them. "That was still impressive guys." He told the two.
As this was going on Harold stood back his arms crossed and an unimpressed look on his face.
CC-Harold
"I don't know why everyone is impressed by those two clowns." The gingers scoffed with a dismissive wave of his hand. "I mean I could have done all that easily. And I bet they know that and it's why they didn't ask me to join in."
Static
"Sirs please follow me." Chef asked. "I need to make sure there's no lasting damage so if you'll follow me to our medic tent." The berserker requested and the two glanced at each other before ultimately deciding to follow after the cook.
"Well that was fun." Wes said with Vergil nodding. "Yeah it was. I'm not against doing it again." Vergil said with Wes. "Oh I could defiantly do this again. Maybe next time we fight with the nullifiers off." Wes offered. "Sounds fun." Vergil said with Chef shuddering.
"Please don't." He requested not wanting to be anywhere near a fight like that. The two teens just laughed at hearing this but nodded though Vergil did have a request. "Hey Wes." He said causing the ashen haired teen to look towards him "Next time use your bayonets." The shaman requested causing Wes to raise an eyebrow. "You sure?" He asked getting a nod from Vergil which Wes retuned. "Okay than." He promised getting a grin from Vergil before continuing their trip in silence.
Line break.
"Last time on Total Drama Island 24 campers started their 8 week stay on this crappy little summer camp for the chance to win 100,00 bucks. It was also the revolutionary first of having enhanced raging from E class to National ranked mixed in with the campers.
The teams were formed and immediately altered when recently made Screaming Gopher leader Courtney traded away their B ranked enhanced with Katie. Haha not the best move there. That combined with refusing to jump effectively screwed them over for the rest of the challenge of finding and digging up the crates that were filled with the materials needed to make a wicked hot tub.
The Killer Bass led by Wes was able to gain a clear and easy win and along with getting a wicked hot tub party get to rock it for the rest of the summer.
Things weren't looking good for Courtney but she was saved by the Dues Ex Machina that was Ezekiel and his sexist remark about woman. Causing the gophers to send him down the walk of shame and off the Island for good.
What do we have in store for our campers this time, and who will be voted off this week? Find out now on Total Drama Island.
Title Sequence.
Chris was walking to the cabins with an air horn and megaphone when he saw Heather leading Owen Izzy and even Eva in morning Yoga while Wes and Vergil were stretching. "Why am I not surprised to see you already awake?" He grinned towards the six. "Because Chef probably already told you hunters get up early.?" Owen guessed getting Chris to pout having that be exactly what happened.
"So it's time for the next challenge?" Heather asked getting a nod from Chris. "Well then I guess we're stopping here." She told the three. "It was great doing Yoga with you again Heather." Owen told the archer with Izzy nodding. "Yeah we should do it more often and you should do it with us Eva." The orange haired teen suggested getting a grunt from the bodybuilder.
"Oh that would be delightful." Heather said cheerfully. However when Owen and Izzy turned away she shot Eva a glare which the bodybuilder saw and returned with one of her own.
CC-Eva
"Ever since I got here Heather has been glaring at me when ever Owen and Izzy hadn't been looking." Eva said angrily. "And it's not the type of glare that was filled with jealously like I had stolen something from her. No I could brush something like that off." Eva said with a shrug. "No what I'm seeing in her eyes is a look of distrust as if she believes I'm just using Owen and plan to throw him away when I'm done with him" Eva said before her eyes narrowed dangerously. "And that's something I can't let slide!" She snarled.
CC-Heather
"Do I think Eva is a good and reliable team member? Yes." Heather said with a nod. "Do I believe she truly cares about Owen and his wellbeing? Yes." Heather again confirmed with a nod before her eyes narrowed and she crossed her legs. "But do I trust her to stand by one of my oldest and closest friends when things get rough from other none enhanced?" She asked.
"Not on her life."
"Call me what you will. Bigot, discriminatory." Heather continued as she crossed her arms. "But growing up I was meet with a lot of hate from none enhanced both children and adults like a lot of Enhanced are. So I'm not going to just let some normal human come in and couple up with one of my best friends only to ditch him win things get rough."
Static
Chris looked around. "So where's Harold?" He asked getting a raised eyebrow Wes. "Pretty sure he's still sleeping." He answered getting a hum from Chris. "And here I thought all hunters got up before the sun." He commented getting a snort from Vergil. "Well he's already proved he's not much of a hunter hasn't he?" The shaman couldn't help say getting a laugh from Chris.
"Well he won't be sleeping for long." Chris said raising the air horn and megaphone. The six teens were able to cover their hears just in time before he blasted the air horn, the noise being amplified by the mega horn. A second later there was a crash and a cry of pain from Leshawna who ran to the window. "It's 7 in the morning! Who's awake at 7 in the morning?!" She demanded with Chris pointing over to the enhanced.
Growling all Leshawana could do is slam the window as she and everyone got dressed and ready for the day.
Soon everyone was standing outside looking groggy. Cody still trying to wake up noticed Eva listening to her MP3 player. Deciding to mess with the bodybuilder he tried to change the song only for Owen to stop him. "Trust me little guy you don't want to do that." Owen warned the geek.
CC-Owen.
"If there's one thing I've learned about Eva, you don't mess with her MP3 player. Last guy who did ended up with both his arms broken." Owen said with a laugh.
Static
"Morning hope you al slept well." Chris said with a grin seeing the tired expressions on some of their faces. "Now I hope you're all ready because your next challenge beings in exactly one minute" Chris warned. "But what about breakfast?" Harold whined getting a snicker from Chris. "Oh don't you worry Harold, you'll get to eat right after your little 20 kilometer run around he lake!" He declared getting groans. "You think you're real funny don't you?!" Eva growled only for Owen to place his hand on the bodybuilder shoulder.
"Breathe Eva, don't let him get to you." He said with Eva growling before breathing in deeply through her nose and nodding.
CC-Bridget
"I gotta hand it to Owen. He's able to calm Eva down from going on a rampage. Guess it goes to show he really does know her." Briddget said with a smile.
Static
"Alright guys 30 seconds to prepare yourselves." Chris warned as the Screaming Gophers lined up at the starting line. "Alright people try not to screw it up like last time. We've got to win this time." Courtney said with multiple gophers glaring at her, most noticeably Leshawna and Gwen.
"Hey what are the bass up to?" Cody asked seeing the Killer Bass huddled together. "Who cares? They're losers who are going down if you all can get your act together." Courtney was quick to dismiss the bass.
CC-Trent
"Honestly we can could stand to learn a thing or two from the bass and Courtney could learn about leadership from Wes." Trent said with a frown. "I talked with Duncan and DJ the other day and apparently they pooled their information and recourses together. Along with Wes taking everyone's opinion and suggestions into account it's no wonder they won." Trent said before smiling.
"But the Screaming Gophers are a good team and I know we can get our act together and win."
Static
The killer Bass were still in their huddle as the Gophers lined up at the starting line. "On your mark. Get set. GO!" Chris shouted as the gophers shot out from the exit. "Good we've got the lead now all we need to do is leave those wimpy fish in the dust!" Courtney shouted with Tyler cheering . "Yeah we've got this no problem!" He said only to be tossed aside. "What the? He said only for to gasp. "Lindsey?!" He shouted as the girl waved at him cheerfully.
"Hi Trevor!" Lindsey said being carried bridal style in Owen's arms while Noah was hanging off his back. "See you at the finish line." The bookworm smirked as the Tanker raced forward. The gophers barley had time to blink as as Izzy ran past cackling like mad while carrying Beth in her arms who was begging her to slow down.
"What are you doing?! That is beyond unfair!" Courtney screamed in rage. Heather smirked as she came up from behind her. "Checked with Chris, it's completely allowed as long as we cover the entire lake. Shame you don't have any useful enhanced on your team to carry someone." Heather smirked. "Thanks again for Izzy by the way. Ta Ta." Heather laughed before racing ahead followed by the rest of the team.
The screaming gophers were left gaping at this before Chris drove up to them on a moped, "Pick up the pace gophers. Your run has just started and if you don't make before dinner you don't eat!" Chris warned before speeding off leaving the Gophers alone.
"Well what are you all waiting for?! We need to decided who's carrying who?!" Courtney shouted. "I for one believe we should-." "Just shut up and run!" Leshawna shouted racing forward soon followed by the rest of the gophers leaving a furious Courtney.
CC-Courtney
"If these people don't start showing me the proper respect, there's going to be trouble." Courtney promised with a clinched fist.
Static
It was late in the day and 22 of the remaining 23 campers were in the lodge, waiting for Harold to arrive.
"So how long do you think Chris will wait until he decides to send out the search party?" Duncan asked after 3 hours of waiting. The question got a glare from the Screaming Gophers and it didn't get any better when Wes took a thinking pose. "Soon enough to seem like he cares but to late to do anything." He answered getting a laugh from the male Bass and and few of the female ones.
Courtney was about to open his mouth and tell them to cram it when the door opened and Harold stumbled in clutching his chest. Immediately Courtney turned her glare towards him. "Where were you?!" She demanded getting in his face. "We lost the challenge! Seriously what kind of enhanced are you?!" She demanded having realized by now his physical abilities were some of the worst on the island.
Harold regained his senses enough to glare at her. "I'm one of the most physically fit here!" He shouted while flexing his nonexistent muscles. "Besides my abilities are mental and have to do with machines not physical abilities like all the other enhanced!" He shouted missing the dry looks he was getting.
With Vergil being a shaman and Wes being a mage, their specialties focus around mental abilities as well but their physical abilities were still at their peak. If anything Harold's physical level should be around the same level if not a little lower than Heather's.
Before the argument could go any further Chris entered from the kitchen. "Oh don't you worry Courtney that wasn't the challenge." He told the Gophers who sighed in relief and the bass who grumbled. "Alright then just what is the challenge?" Vergil asked annoyed with Chris grinning. "We'll get to it. But first I promised you all a meal. So Gophers here's yours!" He said and with a wave of his hand a curtain was raised presenting a devious looking buffet.
"Enjoy!"
CC-Gwen.
"After day after day of nothing but sludge I almost cried when I saw that buffet." Gwen admitted with no shame.
CC-Geoff
"It honestly looked like it was something out of a movie man!" Geoff said with a grin. "Turkey, beans, gravy and all the fixings. We were able to eat like kings dude!"
Static
"What a minute! They get a feast and we get nothing?! What the fuck did we do wrong?!" Duncan demanded as he and the rest of the Killer Bass glared toward the host. "Didn't you say Owen was allowed to carry our teammates?" Wes asked with narrowed eyes. "He was and you all did nothing wrong. And your food is coming out right now." He said with interns brining out dishes of chicken, fruit, seafood, and even a couple of egg dishes.
"Are you serious?" Heather asked with narrowed eyes as a few of the Gophers smirking at them. "Oh so sad for you poor little fishes!" Courtney taunted before laughing and eating another mouthful of food.
Duncan growled but before he could do anything Wes grabbed his shoulder. "Just sit down and eat Duncan, shouting won't do you any favors." Wes told him. "Are you serious man?! We won the first part of the challenge so why were we screwed out of a feast?!" Duncan shouted as he glared at his team leader only for Wes to lean forward. "Look at Chris." He hissed and when the punk reluctantly did. His eyes widened.
Chris was watching the Gophers gorge themselves with upmost glee and anticipation as if he was waiting for something to happen and couldn't wait to get to it. "He's planning something, I think there's a reason why we got the meals that we did. So for now just sit and eat and prepare for whatever comes next. Just remember what happened when the Gophers came in second place last time."
Duncan grumbled but after seeing the host grin increase by the more the Gophers ate nodded and went to fill his plate.
CC-Duncan
"I swear this better be some way to screw over the Gophers or you're going to get it McLain." Duncan threatened while pointing towards the camera.
Static
"Well did everyone enjoy their meal?" Chris asked once the food was gone. The gophers nodded and groaned in satisfaction while the bass did admit it was well made. "Good because it's time for the second part of the challenge. The Awake-a-thon!" Chris declared getting bad feeling from everyone. "Don't worry this is an easy one. The team with the last camper standing wins invincibility." Chris declared. "Wait a minute, but we're at a serve disadvantage!" Gwen noticed. "Not only are we down a player but we're also full of turkey and exhausted from the run!" The goth declared.
"Exactly." Chris agreed with a grin. "The Killer Bass arrived first so they were given a light meal to restore their energy while the gophers were given heavier food for coming in second." He explained before shrugging. "Although it's not my fault none of you could control yourselves." He laughed getting a groan from the Gophers.
"Move campers Move!" He shouted as the Gophers trudged out of the hall while the Bass walked out.
"So how long do you think until everyone's out cold?" Trent asked a sense of foreboding already plaguing him, seeing the difference between the bass and gophers.
"An hour maybe." Gwen guessed before glancing towards Tyler who bumped into the wall on his way out.
"Maybe less."
Line break.
Despite Gwen's guess the campers had made it to the twelve hour mark without anyone dropping out though everyone aside from Izzy, Owen, Vergil and Wes had bags under their eyes.
CC-Gwen
"The Awake-a-thon is definitely the most brutal thing I've ever done in my life."
Static.
"The Awake-a-thon is definitely the most boring thing I've er done in my life." Gwen told Trent who yawned. "Could be way worse." He told her with a smile. "Oh yeah?" Gwen asked getting a nod from Trent. "I could be here without you to talk to." Causing her to turn her head with a smile.
Over with the Bass Heather was currently talking with Owen and Izzy. "So it's agreed the three of us form an alliance." The archer said happily causing Izzy to nod. "Of course Heather-Feather! Wasn't that obvious?" She asked. "I just like getting confirmations for these things Izzy. You know how I am." She reminded the rouge who nodded.
"Yeah we could bring in Eva too. That way we could have 4 in the alliance!" Owen suggested causing Heather's smile to become strained. "That's.. a wonderful idea Owen." Heather managed to say at last. "I'll be sure to ask her later." The archer said with reluctance before going to talk with Lindsey and Beth leaving the two b class to glance towards each other and sigh.
CC-Owen
Owen sighed as he sat in the stall. "Despite what Heather may think I can clearly see the problem between her and Eva. And I have no way to what to say." Owen groaned as rested is hand on his head. "I know the girls could be great friends if they could get to know each other I just don't know how to get them to sit down and start talking."
Static
"Well campers looks like you've reached the 12 hour mark." He said looking around and noticing that no one has dropped out yet. "Time to up the challenge." He said as soothing music began to play. "Listen to the music let it take you to off to a land of fantasy and dream." Chris said, his voice low and peaceful.
And it seemed to have an affect on some as Beth and Noah from The Killer Bass along with Geoff Bridgett and Harold fell asleep not to long after that.
Killer Bass-10
Screaming Gophers-8
"Man Chris really is going all out for this on huh?" Vergil mumbled doing his best to block out the music with Wes chuckling. "Unfortunately I think Chris is just getting started." The ashen haired teen predicted getting a hum from the shaman. "In that case maybe we should just fall asleep and save ourselves the trouble." Vergil suggested with Wes snorting. "As tempting as that is I don't think it would be good for the team morale if they saw their captain and vice captain go down this early." Wes said with Vergil titling his head.
"Vice captain?" He asked getting a grin from the national rank. "Of course who else is going to help me lead this team to victory?" Wes said with Vergil smirking. "I'm not getting out of this am I?" He asked with Wes shaking his head. "Afraid not buddy." Wes confirmed with Vergil letting out an exaggerated sigh. "Well if I must then I'll accept." The shaman said before glancing over to the other team.
"Check it the resident CIT?" Vergil said pointing over to Courtney who seemed determined to keep moving. Wes just snorted. "What an amateur that's just going to tire her out sooner." Wes said getting a nod and shrug from Vergil. "Well that just makes things easier for us." The shaman said getting a nod from Wes before they moved on to other topics.
A few hours later and everyone was still in. "I'm heading to the bathroom." Eva informed getting a nod from Chris who had a female camera operator follow her to make sure she didn't doze off. The bodybuilder scowled but did little else as they left. When they were gone however Heather noticed Eva's MP3 player laying on the ground and quickly picked it up.
She had a conflicted look on her face before ultimately sighing.
CC-Heather
"Were it any other circumstance I might have done something different." Heather admitted before looking down. "But I'm not going to risk one of the few genuine friends I have just because of a bad feeling I can't seem to shake"

"Hey Owen." Heather called as the glutton turned to her. "Eva dropped this when she went to the bathroom. Make sure she gets it back." Heather told him handing over the MP3 player. "I'd do it myself but we aren't on the best terms right now." She said before walking away missing Owen's smile.
CC-Owen
Owen grinned happily. "I knew there was hope for those two." He cheered.
Static.
It had just reached the 24 hour mark when Chris made his next appearance. "Well kids look alive it's time for your first mini challenge." Chris told them. "Mini what now?" Leshawna questioned as she got to her feet. "Mini challenge." Chris repeated himself. "Every 24 hours we will hold a little challenge to make sure you're still conscious enough to remain in the challenge."
CC-Gwen
"Just when I thought this was hard enough, Chris throws in this curveball. Aren't we suffering enough?" The goth rambled with her arms crossed.
Static.
"Now the first challenge is a simple ball throw. Everyone will partner up and throw a ball back and forth with each other. You can miss as much as you want, but you must actively be going after the ball." Chris informed as Chef handed out foam balls.
"Oh and I believe a little change in music is appropriate." Chris said as the tone suddenly changed to a violin solo however after about 10 seconds there was a ding. "Alright everyone go!"
"Great just great. As if we weren't tired enough." Vergil grumbled as he paired up with Wes. "Let's just get through this." The American suggested and with little else they can do they started to throw the ball at each other.
As the campers started throwing their balls back and forth and starting up conversations again. DJ who had been paired with Justin shifted nervously having the not seen the model move since they started. "You ready man?" He called out getting no answer from Justin causing the man to sigh before gently throwing the ball towards the model.
Justin made no move to catch the ball as it fell gently to his feet. "Sorry about that." DJ called only for Justin to not move a muscle. "Ah a little help?" He asked only for the model to not move. Chris had come over by this point and was examining the model.
"You okay there man?" Chris asked watching Justin closely. Suddenly Justin shock his head and his eyes seems to disappear to reveal another pair of eyes. "Dude did you paint eyelids to make it seem like you were awake while you had been sleeping this whole time.
Justin nodded with a nervous smile causing the host to laugh. "Dude that is awesome! I mean you're still out but that's awesome!" The host told him before walking away while still laughing.

"Eh it was worth a shot." Justin said with a shrug.

After that the ball continued with the campers throwing the ball back and forth at a leisurely pace. However there was a change in music as the dinging started reoccurring sooner and sooner. First it was a ding every 10 seconds, than every 7 seconds, than every 5 seconds and now it was dinging ever 3 seconds.
"So do you think we should be trying to match the dings?" Vergil asked lazily tossing the ball towards Wes of caught while pointing to the left. "You mean like them?" He asked and saw Courtney moving full sprint throwing the ball at Cody and yelled at him to match the tempo.
"Chris never said we have to match the pitch just that we have to be continuously throw it towards each other." Wes reasoned getting a nod from Vergil. "Seems like everyone else seemed to figure that out too." Vergil said as all the other teams were just leisurely throwing it back and forth.
After another 15 minutes Chris stepped forward "Alright everyone that's enough. Ball throw's over and you can go back to sit down now." He said getting sighs of relief from the campers. "Courtney however stepped forward furious. "What?! But they didn't complete the challenge! I was the only one who matched the dings!" She huffed her cheeks red and sweat covered her body.
"Good for you Courtney." The host praised before laughing. "But I never said you had to match the dings." Chris said getting a furious look from the CIT. "WHAT?!" She demanded as Chris motioned for one of the camera operators to approach. "See never said anything about matching the pace." Chris said walking away after proving his point leaving the CIT furious.
CC-Leshawna
"Yup I knew it." Leshawna said with a nod. "It was just another trick to try and make things harder than it already was." The sister said before crossing her arms. "Though I gotta admit there was a nagging in the back of my head that was worried so I just let Courtney do her thing. At least that way the gophers would have at least one person left while the rest are eliminated."
Static.
It had just reached the 36 hour mark and the contestants were still going strong. Currently Vergil and Wes were trading stories. "So after going throw an entire cave of wyverns while listening to these cocky little shits go on and on about me stealing their glory I was beginning to lose the last of my patience." Vergil told Wes and a small group of both gophers and bass that were listening. "Luckily for the newbies that's when the boss of the dungeon appeared." Vergil narrated only to stop when Chris blared his air horn.
"Sorry to interrupt but we've just hit the next 12 hour mark. Which means it's time to take things up a notch." Chris grinned getting groans from the campers as the host brought up a walkie-talkie. "Hit it chef." He said as a pink mist filled the area. "What the heck is this?" DJ freaked out only to take deep breath and let out a relaxed sigh and smile.
"Mama's home cooking." The gentle giant said and the others after a moment of confusion and hesitation took a breathe. "I dont know what you mean bro, this is exactly like the musky smell of my favorite gym." Tyler breathed in deeply. "Ah gotta love it."
As more and more people were arguing with each other on what it was Vergil and Wes glanced towards each other. "What'd you smell?" Vergil asked. "We have a block party every 3 months or so where each family cooks a dish and brings it. The smells always mix together to make something amazing." Wes explained getting smile from Vergil. "For me it's my grandmother's shop. She's been in the same spot for decades and I work there when I get some time off." Vergil said with Wes wearing a smile this time.
"So everyone is smelling their favorite scent. Which means it can only be one thing." Wes said with Vergil nodding. "Fairy Aroma." The shaman finished with Wes nodding.
"Exactly."
CC-Wes
"Fairy Aroma is created by harvesting a very common plant found in dungeons that we've learned to grow on earth by hunters." Wes explained before giving a shrug. "Honestly it was a good idea from Chris to use it. It's not dangerous to breathe in and the worst it can do is relax your muscles. Hunters use it in dungeons all the time."
Static
As the aurora filled the air the camper's felt their eyes grow heavier and heavier. "How you doing Heather?" Owen asked only to get no response causing him to turn and see Heather out cold. "Ah that's adorable." Izzy cooed moving to take off Heather's jacket and place it under her head so she had something to sleep on. DJ had also drifted off to dreamland muttering happily as he did so. "Well looks like we're not out of this just yet." Gwen smiled seeing the two bass go down only to turn and frown when she saw Leshawna out cold as well.

As the hours passed the campers got more and more tired but managed to stay awake. Vergil and Wes weee currently chatting with each other and somehow the talk had gotten to relationships. "So by that point, things just kept getting more and more awkward and I was getting more and more uncomfortable, hell so was she. So we ended things mutaitly." Wes sighed finishing up the tale of his last relationship.
Vergil had sympathy in his eyes. "I'm sorry to hear that. Sounds like you two had something special at first." The shaman said with Wes letting out a sigh before shrugging. "That's just the way things go sometimes. Nothing we can do about it." Wes told him before looking toward Vergil. "What about you?"
"Not much to tell really." Vergil admitted. "I've had a few relationships but nothing solid." Vergil told Wes before looking down unsure before continuing. "Guess I just haven't met the right guy yet." He muttered lowly and Wes blinked twice before chuckling and slowly pulling the shaman closer getting a smile from Vergil.
Further away Duncan and Owen were watching with amused smirks before the punk glanced at Owen and muttered. "20 bucks says Wes makes the first move." Duncan told the glutton who grinned. "Alright 20 on Vergil making the first move." Owen countered before the two shook hands.
"Deal."
Line Break.
"Alright campers, welcome to the 48 hour mark." Chris said with a stack of papers in his hands. "For this challenge you're going to be talking a little test." He said getting groans from everyone. "Oh No!" Lindsey gasped, she had always done horribly on test! "Not to worry everyone. These test are so simple a first grader can do it. As long as you're awake enough to read the instructions you'll pass." Chris told the group gettigns sighs of relief from them but Lindsey still gulped.
"Now to prevent cheating we're going to be using a private booth. One by one each team will enter and complete their test." Chris explained as Chef brought in two sheds for the test. "Good luck everyone." Chris said as he left.
However as he did two scraps of paper feel out of his hands and onto the ground with Chris seemingly not noticing. Picking up the two papers Cody examined them. "Hey guys!" He whispered excitedly. "These are the answers to the test!" He shouted as the two teams came over.
Wes took the one for the Bass while Courtney took the one for Gophers. Looking them over the did indeed see that it was answers for the test. "Luckily break for us huh?" The geek asked excitedly only for Wes to crumble the piece of paper in his hands. "This is obviously a trap." the national ranked hunter said before tossing it over his shoulder with the bass walking off.
"Yeah Chris wouldn't just drop something like this. Besides it's all on camera. They'll know you cheated." The CIT said before dropping the piece of paper. As the gophers walked away they didn't notice Cody, Sadie, Katie, and Tyler looking at the piece of paper with unsure looks nor did anyone notice Lindsey picking up the crumbled sheet.
CC-Lindsey
"I know what Wilson said but I'm just so nervous." Lindsey said. "I have hard enough time with test when I'm wide awake. I can't do it like I am now." The blonde moaned.
Static
"Alright campers, who's ready for their test?" Chris asked as the two teams stood in front of their booths. "Team captains you go in first." Chris said as Wes and Courtney stood in front. "Go!" Chris shouted with Cortney sprinting forward as Wes walked in calmly. Inside there was a pen, a bubble sheet, a piece of paper, a red button, and a timer with one minute on it.
Waling over Wes examined the piece of paper.
1.Press the red button
2.Wait one minute.
3. Go outside with your answer sheet
Do not write on your answer sheet or you will be eliminated.
Say anything to the other campers and your entire team will be eliminated
'So that's your game.' Wes thought looking over the paper and pressing the button.
CC-Wes
"I knew something was up the moment Chris dropped those papers." Wes said with a raised eyebrow before snorting. "Though I gotta admit I wasn't expecting a twist like this.
Static
One by one each camper entered the booth and after a minute each came out most looking relived.
"Okay campers I have looked over your test and I'm pleased with your resells." Chris said getting smirks form the campers. However they were wiped off the teen's faces with what Chris said next. "So Cody, Katie, Sadie, Tyler and Lindsey. You're all out!" He declared shocking all those present. "WHAT?!"
Screaming Gophers-3
Killer Bass-6
"Yeah turns out some of people weren't able to follow directions." Chris said before showing footage of The 4 screaming gophers and 1 killer bass using the cheat sheets. Covering up the piece of paper after pressing the red button." Too bad huh? Had you bothered reading it you would have known you weren't supposed to do anything but wait for the timer to reach zero." Chris said before shrugging. "Oh well maybe next time." He said walking away leaving the gophers to glare at the geek.
CC-Cody
"Heh he, oops." Cody he said with a nervous chuckle and shrug.
Static
It was 60 hours in and the remaining contestants were looking worse and worse. Even Wes and Vergil were starting to show their exhaustion. "Well kids congrats on making it this far and as a reward I think you're all entitled to a nice meal. The shot said as Chef wheeled out a cart full of burgers, fries and other food." "More food seriously?" Gwen asked with Chris shrugging. "What do you want from me. It's one of the 12 hour marks not a mini challenge. Besides you don't have to eat but considering what the next mini challenge is you might want to chow down." Chris warned as he walked away.
The remaining campers glanced at each other unsure before heading to the cart and started to eat.
CC-Vergil
"Chris is full of it, no doubt." Vergil declared before rolling his eye. "Unfortunately he know when to sprinkle enough truth into his words that we weren't sure when he was telling the truth and when he was bull shiting us."

The hours dragged on with Chef brining out new food when ever the old stuff went bad. Around the 66 hour mark Courtney dropped with Eva making it to the 70 hour before collapsing

"I don't know how much longer I can last." Gwen muttered a while later before glancing towards Trent. The musician didn't respond and hesitantly Gwen nudged him. The musican topped and Gwen watched on helplessly as he fell to the ground.
"No." Gwen groaned. "Don't leave me."
Screaming Gophers-1
"What a shame, I was just about to congratulate all of you to making it to the 72 hour mark." Chris said before grinning. "Speaking of Which. It's time for your next mini challenge." Chris declared getting groans from the campers. "Follow me" He instructed getting the teens to get to their feet and follow them a short distance away.
When the arrived Duncan and Gwen, the two non enhanced left. Gasped in disbelief. "Are you serious man?!" Duncan shouted angrily as they looked at a giant television with 6 dancing pads on the ground.
"Your next challenge is a round of Dance Dance Revolution!" Chris declared before explaining. "All you have to do is get through one song on the easiest difficulty. Do that and you stay in. Fail and you're out." Chris explained before pointing over his shoulder. "Now get to it."
Reluctantly the 6 did as they were told and made their ways to the dance pad.
CC-Gwen.
"I had no idea how I was going to do this. Not only was I completely exhausted but I was going up against Enhanced who had energy to spare." The goth muttered angrily towards the camera.
Static
"And go!" Chris declared as the song began and the campers began to follow the the screens the best they could. "Damn cyclops, how are you so good at this?" Duncan questioned watching Vergil doing it perfectly with the shaman grunting. "This is the favorite game of one of my closest friends and she has me play it with her all the time." Vergil explained getting a snort from the punk. "Well looks like we won't be playing much longer." He said, his eyes drifting over to Gwen who looked to barely remain on her feet.
And he was right 30 seconds later, the last of Gwen's energy finally seems to leave her as he she finally collapsed to the ground out cold.
Scream Gophers-0
"And the Killer Bass win!" Chris announced getting cheers from the remaining Bass though Duncan's was particularly weak.
"Alright Bass, each of your mattress's will be thrown out and replaced with a top of a line new one while the Gophers send someone home." He said getting cheers from the Bass. "Hallelujah." Duncan muttered finally falling asleep.
Line Break
As many of the Bass were enjoying their new mattresses and the Gophers were deciding who they were going to vote for Eva approached Heather. The two stood in awkward silence before Eva finally broke it.
"Owen told me you found my MP3 player on the ground during the challenge." Eva revealed before scratching the back of her head looking sure. "So thanks for that." Heather nodded before sighing. "I asked him not to tell you I had found it." She said with Eva nodding. "He told me that, but what can I say he's pretty stubborn when he wants to be." Eva said with Heather snorting. "Believe me I know, the stories I could tell you." Heather giggled a bit and Eva grinned. "Maybe I'll take you up on that someday." She said before coughing. "So thanks again." Eva said with a nod before turning and leaving.
CC-Eva and Heather at the same time.
"Okay maybe she isn't as bad as I first thought." Both said at the same time."
Static.
It was night now as the eleven gophers sat around. "Gophers welcome to your first official campfire ceremony." Chris said with a grin with the gophers scowling, the bags under their eyes making it worse as Chris brought out a tray of marshmallows.
"On this tray we have ten marshmallows. The camper who does not receive a marshmallow will head down the dock of shame, board the boat of losers and leave Total Drama Island for good." Chris reminded them before raising a marshmallow. "The first person to receive a marshmallow is Gwen." He said tossing the goth a marshmallow.
"Geoff, Bridget, Trent, Leshawna." He continued causing the 4 to smile. "Courtney." He said tossing it to the CIT who took it happily. "The remaining 5 let's face it. You really screwed up bad today huh?" He laughed before raising 3 marshmallows. "However it's a lucky day Tyler, Kate and Sadie." He said causing the jock to breathe a sigh of relief as the best fiends hugged each other.
Cody and Harold both gulped as they eyed the last marshmallow. "Oh boys what could I say. You two were the main cause of the problems for the Gophers today. Harold because you arrived late. The gophers were served the much heavier food and because they have no self control they gorged themselves causing handicapped themselves for the Awake-a-thon." Chris said causing Harold to look away in defiance believing that wasn't his fault.
"And Cody because of your hindsight and your teams lack of ability to read a piece of paper four of your team members were eliminated at once." Chris said causing Cody to look down in shame. "The final marshmallow goes to-."
Cody eyed it with panic wanting nothing more than to hear his name.
Harold was looking expectedly as if he knows he's getting the marshmallow.
The gophers looked unhappy as if they hadn't gotten the outcome they wanted.
"Harold." Chris said at last causing Harold to smirk and Cody to look down in sadness.
CC-Trent
"In any other situation it would have been Harold." The musician said before sighing. "But we don't know what kind challenges are coming, but if these first two were anything indication they're going to be brutal." Trent said guilty as he scratched the back of his head. "Harold may be the worst enhanced I've ever seen but he's still an enhanced and that unfortunately does count for something." Trent explained before looking at the camera.
"Sorry Cody."
Static
"Well bro, it's time to go." Chris told Cody who gave a sad nod and stood up and begin to walk to the dock of shame. "Take care little dude." Geoff called. "See ya pal." Trent added on. "We';l miss you little guy." Leshawna told the geek. Hearing this Cody smiled and waved. "Thanks guys and good luck to all you." He said before boarding the boat and driving away.
On the boat Cody sighed before looking towards the camera. "Well 23rd out of 24 can't say I like it but I don't really have anyone to blame but myself." Cody admitted before smiling. "But don't be so sad everyone! The Code-Mister is just getting started!" The geek promised as the boat drove off into the night.
Back at the camper the Gophers were cooking their marshmallows on the fire. "This doesn't happen again." Courtney snarled. "If any of you dead weight bring down this team you'll regret ever being born." She promised before raising her flaming marshmallow into the air. "To the screaming gophers!" She bellowed with the gophers rising their marshmallows slowly. "To the Screaming Gophers." The muttered some unsure while others glared darkly at Courtney, not going to forget the threat she just made.
In the Killer Bass cabin the team was relaxing on their new mattresses and heard Courtney's scream. "Well looks like someone's fired up." Duncan muttered getting chuckles from the guys. "Maybe now they'll actually start trying instead of just letting us steam roll them." Noah added causing the chuckles to increase.
"I'm just glad they're finally getting along." Wes commented in the most sappy and sincere voice he could. Turning the chuckles into out right laughter.
Outside the cabins Chris grinned as he faced the camera. "What a crazy couple of days. A team grew closer." He gestured to the still laughing Bass cabin. While one is starting to drift apart." He said as the gophers walked past him and into their cabin, not saying a word. "Well this last and what kind of crazy challenge do we have in store for them? Find out next time on Total Drama Island."
Line break.
It was as if a call had been given because as one each enhanced on the island awoke at the exact moment. It was the the night after Awake-a-thon had concluded and everyone had spent the day recovering from it. However each enhanced awoke at the same time and sat straight up in their beds.
"Wes Vergil do you feel that?" Owen whispered as he got out of his bunk as Vergil and Wes nodded before gesturing to the outside of the cabin. The three made their way outside just in time to see Heather and Izzy coming out of their cabin.
"So we weren't just sensing things." Vergil muttered before letting out a sigh. "A gate has appeared nearby."The shaman muttered getting nods from the rest of the hunters. "So what should we do, report it?" Heather questioned unsure before Izzy scoffed. "Please Heather-Feather we can take care of it, especially with the supreme commander and Vergy here." The rouge said with confidence.
"She's correct, there's no telling how long it would take to get someone out here." Chef said walking up to him, however his out fit had changed.
(Just take away the mask, hat and hook)
"What's the plan sirs?" Chef asked standing at attention waiting for orders as Vergil and Wes shared a look before nodding. "We'll take care of the dungeon ourselves." Wes said with Vergil nodding. "Calling anyone else would be a waste of time." Vergil said as they both brought up their screens and a second later their outfits had changed.
(This is what Vergil is wearing while Wes was wearing what he does in Pokemon Colosseum.)
"Of course sirs." Chef nodded before rounding on the other three. "What are you maggots waiting for?! Prepare for the gate!" He ordered with the 3 teens instantly went into their inventory and changed into their hunting clothes.
(What Heather is wearing)
(What Izzy is wearing)
(What Owen is Wearing.)
"Right let's move people." Wes ordered as he headed down the steps followed by the others. However they were just about to leave the grounds when Owen suddenly remembered something. "What about Harold, he should have sensed that a gate has appeared?" The glutton asked getting chef to narrow his eyes.
"He's hiding in the bathroom." Vergil said after a moment of using his Haki and found him cowering in one of the stalls. "Leave him then." Wes said at once not having the patience to deal with a coward. Vergil nodded as the two headed in the direction of where they sensed the gate. "You heard them." Chef said following directly behind the two s ranked hunters.
Heather, Owen and Izzy spared each other a glance before hurrying after them deciding it was more important to deal with the gate than try and convince a coward to join them.
Line break.
The gate had appeared at the base of the cliff where they jumped for their first challenge. "Alright listen up. Like a normal raid we'll form a party. But first I need to know what every one specializes in. I'm an assassin and mage class hunter but I specialize as an all-rounder." Wes said with Vergil going next. "I'm an S ranked shaman but like Wes I act as an all-rounder."
Chef stood at attention. "Sir! Chef Hatchet, A ranked berserker. The more I fight and damage I take the stronger I get! Sir!" Chef barked. Owen went next. "I'm an B ranked tanker so I can reduce the damage I take. Also despite being a close range specialist I do have a number of long range attacks." Owen said.
Izzy raised her hand to go next. "I'm an B ranked rouge. I specialize in various skills from the thief and assassin classes but what I'm best at is duel wielding my poison daggers." Izzy said bringing out a pair of curved daggers.
"I'm an E ranked archer, and while I have an entire arsenal of bows, arrows, bows, and crossbows. My skills are very limited because.." Here Heather sighed. "Because right when I awakened I had a class upgrade personal quest." Heather admitted with Wes, Vergil, and Chef being stunned.
A class upgrade personal guest only happened when those were ready to advance in rank. In theory letting an E rank rise to that of an S rank, but it the quest are usually so demanding it takes everything that hunter has learned to usually finish them so for Heather not only be E ranked but also to be hit with an class upgrade quest at the start was the worst possible thing that could happen.
"Izzy and I have also gotten our upgrade class quest too but they're not anything as hard as Heather's is." Owen said feeling bad for his friend.
"What's the quest?" Wes asked with a raised eyebrow curious as to what it could be. "Heather opened her screen and showed them what it was.
Bullseye! Hit the mark!
Your skill with archery needs to be first class for what's to come, so go out and prove your self by calling your shot and than hit the target.
Headshots (561/1000)
Torsos(779/1000)
Right Arm(263/1000)
Left Arm(256/1000)
Left Leg(321/1000)
Right Leg(417/1000)
The three men were silent for around a minute and Heather was starting to feel self conscious and was about to close the screen when Chef opened his mouth.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS BULLSHIT?!" He screamed at one of the most asinine class upgrade class requirements he's ever seen. Heather was a little taken back from his anger but managed to nod. "It does seem a little unfair doesn't it?" She asked only for Vergil to snap his head over to her. "Unfair this is fucking insane!" He hissed.
Wes just massaged his head. "Heather the next time I go on a gate clearing spree I'm taking you with me." He promised getting a smile from the archer.
Deciding it was time to start Wes opened his menu. "Alright I'm going to create a party invite now." Wes said as screens appeared in front of everyone once everyone accepted they were good to go. "There now we're good to go." Wes said before looking back at the group. "Everyone ready?" He asked getting nods all around. "Well then let's move!" He ordered as the six charged into the gate.
Line Break.
A forest of dead trees is where they ended up and the six looked around curiously and cautiously wait for the monsters to attack. "Anything?" Wes asked using the power of the Glare-Glare Fruit to try and spot any enemies only to see nothing. "I don't sense anything either." Vergil muttered having used his Observation Haki to try and sense enemies only sense nothing.
The group of six were going to try and make a plan of attack when the ground suddenly started shaking as thousands of glowing red orbs appeared between the trees. Using the Glint-Glint Fruit he conjured multiple orbs of light and levitated them into the air.
And that's when they saw them, thousands of zombies all shambling towards them some barehanded others with basic weapons. "Damn it we did they all come from?!" Owen shouted freaked out at being surrounded so suddenly.
"Doesn't matter." Wes said. "We just need to do our jobs." Wes reminded them before waving his hand just as thousands of giant thorny plant roots emerged from the ground gorging and impaling the zombies by the hundreds. The zombies turned to dust but Wes blinked in confusion. 'What the?" He thought as Vergil shot forward, a giant, spiked mace appearing in his hands and an aura covered him before multiple specters appeared him each carrying a a similar mace.
Vegil and the specters all raised their clubs and brought them down on another part of the horde killing hundreds and turning them to dust. 'What's going on?" Vergil hissed. Chef meanwhile had taken over directing the other three. Slicing apart zombie after zombie with his enlarged kitchen knives as his bad feeling was growing by the minute. "Archer." He called getting a grunt from Heather. "Nothing's changing I've hit 8 of my called shots and the numbers haven't increased at all. Not to mention what's not happening when these zombies are dying." She said getting a grunt from Chef.
When a monster was killed in a dungeon not only do they leave behind a body, but the player is also rewarded gold that can be used in a special store avabile only to the enhanced through the screens but also exp that allow hunters to level up.
None of those things were happening and it was leaving the hunters worried and confused. "So what do we do?" Owen asked smashing another three zombies together as Izzy cut the head off 5 of them.
"We find the boss that's what we do." Wes answered using the Warp-Warp Fruit to get him and Vergil to the group. "Okay but what about them?" Heather gestured to the zombie hoard. Wes just smirked as he spoke his next word.
"Arise."
As he spoke these words his shadow seemed to expand for miles before figures made of darkness started to emerge from it. "This was this awakened power of the Shadow-Shadow Fruit or its true name Human-Human Fruit, Model: Ashborn and it allowed it's user to raise Shadow Soldiers from the corpses of the deceased.
The hunters looked in awe as dragons, giants and monsters from across various mythologies and even some they didn't recognize stand at the ready. Wes smirked as he raised his hand. "Get to work." He ordered with a snap of his fingers. The soldiers shot off instantly letting out war cries as they began to do battle with the zombies, butchering them by the hundreds and when a shadow was destroyed it would reform a few seconds later.
When this was going on a shadow dragon lowered its head and allowed the 6 hunters to climb on. Once they were high enough." Wes turned to Vergil. "See if you can sense anything now." He requested getting a nod from the shaman who after a few minutes of sensing he opened his eyes. "10 miles south." He pointed in that direction and Wes nodded and with a quick command the dragon was flying through the air.
A minute later they had reached a mountain but more importantly an entrance to the mountain that was being guarded by giant monster skeletons.
"A troll, a wyvern and a dragon," Vergil said examining the 3 monsters. "How do you wanna do this?" He asked. Wes grinned before his leg started t glow brightly with the power of the Glint-Glint Fruit, before he jumped off the shadow dragon's back.
The monsters noticed his presence when he was about half way to them and the dragon and wyvern blasted the teen with their fire breathe only for Wes to absorb it. Smirking Wes began to to spin in the air to increase his velocity before slamming his glowing leg on top of the undead dragon's head. A massive explosion of light engulfed the area and forced the other skeletons to jump back. A second later a screen appeared in front of all the hunters.
You have acquired 1,508,060 gold for killing a dragon.
However in front of Izzy Owen, and Heather another screen appeared.
You have leveled up!
This notice appeared in front of them each over a dozen times and even in front of Chef 4 times. "So that's how a top tier hunter hunts." Owen muttered in awe before looking down and saw Wes picking up the drops the skeleton dragon had dropped.
"So that's the power of a national ranked hunter." Heather whispered in complete awe. "He's standing right there but it seems like he's so far away at the same time." The archer muttered with Izzy wrapping her arms around Heather. "We'll get there one day Heather. I know we will." Izzy said getting a grateful smile from the archer.
Vergil meanwhile was covering himself in an aura. "Focus you 3, you can't plan for the future if you don't live past the present." The shaman warned as a weapon appeared in Vergil's hand.
This was the O.S. Super Bushin a weapon created when Vergil calls upon and preforms the Over Soul technique with the legendary warrior Bason. "You ready big guy?" He asked as a Bason body formed from Vergil's aura and gave a nod. "Well then let's go." He shouted leaping off the dragon and heading straight toward the Wyvern who screeched and took to the air and heading straight towards Vergil to meet him head on.
Vergil smirked seeing this and immediately began to spin like a top at rapid speed. The resulting collision had Vergil ripping, tearing and shredding through the wyvern skeleton killing it instantly and causing its remains to drop to the ground below.
You have acquired 754,030 gold for hunting a wyvern.
"There's just no contest is there?" Owen muttered as the level up screen again started to appear in front of them as like before Vergil went to collect the drops. "Now all we gotta do is deal with the-" He wasn't able to finish as Wes and Vergil both jumped towards the troll and a second later it was cut to pieces and fried with lightening. "Never mind." He muttered.
You have acquired 8,000 gold for hunting a Troll.
4 more level up screens appeared in front of Heather, Owen and Izzy, "Damn it what are we doing just standing here?" Heather muttered not wanting to just stand around and do nothing. "Relax solider we'll be seeing action soon enough." Chef reassured her as the drake descended to the surface. "Right then." Wes said once they were all together. "I think it's obvious by now that we're dealign with some kind of necromancer." Wes stated before facing the three dead skeletons. "Speaking of which. Arise." He commanded as shadow soldiers rose from each of the three skeletons, though they resembled what the monster looked like when when they were alive.
"Now then let's get started." Wes said as green fire covered Wes's body from view before fading and showing Wes thought he looked vastly different.
This was one of Wes's Reaper Forms courtesy of the awakened Human-Human Fruit, Model: Yogumunt the true form of the Hollow-Hollow Fruit. "Wes?" Vergil asked getting a nod from the teen. "Trust me Vergil this is going to make things go much easier." He said before pointing his scythe at the three monster corpses and gave a whistle. Instantly green fire covered the bodies before putting them back together until they were standing at attention next to their shadow equivalents.
"So he can bring them back as skeletons and as shadows?" Heather questioned before sighing. "That is beyond unfair." She muttered under her breath. "Shadows stand guard so no one gets in. Skeletons into the shadows." He ordered as his shadow expanded around the skeletons and let them sink into it. "Wait where did you send them?" Owen asked getting a grin from Wes. "I'll show you one day." Wes promised before growing serious. "But for now we need to focus on clearing this dungeon." Wes said getting a nod from the group.
"Now than if no one's against it I have away to speed things up if you're all okay with it." Wes offered. "Get it done Supreme Leader." Izzy grinned wanting to see more cool tricks from Wes. The others nodded in agreement wanting to clear the dungeon quickly and go back to bed.
Seeing this Wes raised his scythe. "March Of The Dead." He declared as a dark mist emitted around the group with hundreds of zombies emerging from it. "The March Of The Dead allows me to summon hundreds of any kind of undead I wish however I can only summon 1 type at a time and they can only be at their base form." Wes explained before grinning. "But that's fine they just need a proper leader." Wes said before snapping his finger.
A tear suddenly appeared next to him and slowly a long clawed hand emerged followed by another until a woman standing 3 times the height of chef. "Ladies and Gentlemen may I introduce you to the mother of the dead, Pendariel."
The giant zombie woman slowly kneeled before Wes. "My...King...What would...You have me do?" The zombie questioned getting a laugh a laugh from Wes. "She might not be the brightest but she definitely nows how to get the job done." He assured the other hunters before turning back to her. "Take this horde and lay waste to what ever's inside. Stop when you reach the boss door." Wes ordered.
The red headed zombie eyes glowed and summoned her blade which emitted the same poison aura that she did. "It will be done." She said before with a screech she flew in to the entrance followed by the zombies.
Turning back Wes gestured to the entrance. "Let's go." He said before facing the direction they had come from. "Return." He shouted and a few seconds later an ocean of darkness crashed through the trees and into Wes's shadow. "Right let's go." He ordered walking into cave with the others right behind them.
A few seconds later an explosion was heard and the mountain shook. "What what that?" Chef asked looking around for enemies only for Wes to wave it off. "It's fine that's one of the zombies I summoned detonating due to the Corpse Explosion move I implanted in it." Wes revealed getting a whistle from Vergil "No wonder they call you the king of the undead and monsters." The shaman muttered with Wes humming. "Thanks but I can't really accept that title until I compelte my Personal Quest." Wes said getting interested looks from the others.
"You have a personal quest?! Let me see, let me see, let me see!" Izzy pleaded with Wes snorting in amusement before brining it up and showing it to the group.
Only one can rule them all
With your mastery over monsters you've definitely a king, but there can only be one true king. Prove it's you be sending your legion of monsters against others like them and emerge victorious.
(50,043,281/100,000,000)
"You've got to kill a 100,000,000?monsters?!" Vergil demanded getting a nod from Wes. "Yup and it has to be in the same class like undead against undead, demons against demons that kind of thing." Wes explained before the notification of confirmed kills started coming in. "See the number is at 290 now." Wes said as everyone looked and true enough the 281 had become a 290 and was steadily rising now.
"Got the quest last year. Luckily I know a medium who's specialty is sensing red gates, you know the ones that lock behind you and have a shit ton of monsters in them?" He asked getting nods from the group. "Well I've been spending most of my last year clearing those." Wes confirmed getting a whistle form Owen.
"Still 50 million in little over a year, that's insane! You're already half way there!" Owen muttered with Vergil nodding "Yeah no wonder your family forced you to take a break." He muttered getting a shrug from Wes. "It's not all bad. I mean you know all those different monster armies I have?" He questioned getting more nods. "Well every time I raise a new shadow and Skelton that's two new solders of equal strength for those armies." Wes revealed causing the group to come to a screeching halt.
"What?" Chef asked pray he hadn't just heard what he thought he heard. "Yeah when I raise a new shadow and skeleton every other army gets two new soldiers of equal strength. One for the shadow and one for the Skelton." Wes explained before going to a think position.
"Actually it's only most of them" Wes corrected. "A few of the armies have their own rules about numbers and strength but that's not important right now." Wes waving it off, having more important things to worry about now.
Before the others could fully process this information Pendariel appeared and bowed to her master. "It is done." She stated slowly with Wes nodding in satisfaction. "The zombies I summoned?" He asked. "Collecting the spoils and awaiting your arrival." She answered causing Wes to nod. "Excellent work Pendariel. You're dismissed." He told her with the zombie vanishing in a red mist.
"Well let's go. The meat puppets are waiting." Wes said before moving on ahead with Heather, Owen and Izzy following after hi,. Vergil just kept staring at Wes's retreating back. "Everything okay sir?" Chef asked with Vergil trying to find the words. "I've always been the one people rely on to get through a dangerous mission. This is the first time I've been the one standing in the back ground." He said before clenching his fist and growling.
"I don't like it."
Chef gently. battled the teen on the back. "Don't worry about it kid." Chef said not using sir for the first time since meeting Vergil. "You'll be standing shoulder to shoulder with him soon enough I just know it." Chef guaranteed it causing Vergil to slowly smile. "Thanks Chef." The shaman thanked getting a nod from Chef. "Just doing my job sir." He replied before the two caught up with the others just in time to see Wes still in his Reaper Form collect the bag filled with drops from his zombies before putting it in his inventory. "We'll work on dividing the drops tomorrow. Sound good?" He asked getting nods all around. Wes than pointed his scythe towards the hall way and room leading up to the boss chambers and with one eye radiating purple energy and the other burning with green fire he spoke.
"Arise."
At that command 60 new shadows and 60 new skeletons all rose again before kneeling in front of their king. "So that's 120 new soldiers for his other armies right? Owen asked with Heather nodding. "Yeah." She muttered before sighing. "But anyway we're here what should we do about the creep in this room?" She asked pointing to the room.
"You mean creeps. I'm sensing three signatures from in there." Vergil corrected with Wes nodding. "Here's what I think. Chef, Vergil and I will each take on of them. Owen, Heather and Izzy with the help of the zombies will keep what ever they summon off our backs." Wes suggested. No one was under the illusion that who ever was in there couldn't summon and had an ambush ready to go the moment they walked in there.
"Right then let's move." Vergil ordered as the party of 6 plus a few dozen zombies entered the boss room. "A giant colosseum. I've got a bad feeling about this." Heather muttered getting weary looks from her friends.
"You need not be concerned here human, the place of your death and rebirth." A voice announced putting everyone one edge.
"Show yourselves." Wes ordered and a sound like teeth clicking together rang through the arena.
"The faker makes demands of us? How amusing." A second voice drawled.
"Why don't you just come out and face us already, instead of drawing this out?!" Vergil demanded his patience growing thin as a third voice joined in.
"It does you no favor to rush human, considering your fates have been sealed. But if you're all so insistent on meeting your demise we will indulge you." It promised before 3 columns of fire erupted from the ground and the bosses came into view.
As the 3 Skeltons made their appearance a screen popped up.
The bosses of the dungeon Skeleton Lords have you in their sights.
"Skeleton lords?" Heather asked raising an eyebrow and for good reason. Each of the 6 hunters in front of them knew what a skeleton lords were capable of. Always appearing in teams of three, the may wield different weapons but they were always able to cast Fireball and upon their death minions were spawned. To truly defeat one you must defeat the lord and the minions.
However everything they faced tonight should be far outside the reach of a regular Skeleton Lord. From summoning hordes of zombies to reviving a troll, dragon and wyvern. The 6 hunters were honestly expecting something more along the lines of a lich.
The staff wielding lord cackled causing his teeth to chatter together. "A surprise I know but our masters have seen fit to grant us power beyond your imaginations" They cackled surprising the group, "Did he just say master?" Vergil questioned his eye widened as ideas and possibilities raced through his head.
"Indeed the very masters who-!" The scythe lord started to say only to stop as the three lords started to shake violently as a dark miasma of smoke bellowed off them. The hunters all got into fighting positions before the lords stoped suddenly and stood still before the red glow returned to their eyes.
"Now than humans let's start by clearing the field." The halberd one suggested as the three brought their weapons together. A second later a pulse emitted from them passing by the hunters without any problems but once it hit the zombies the crumble to death instantly.
"We were observing you from earlier and found those walking cadavers to be an annoyance." The scythe lord told the hunters before he and the other lords raised their hands. "Now amuse us and our minions!" They spoke as one before a giant magical portal opened as dozens of skeletons crawled appeared. "Great and here I thought we had enough to worry about." Vergil said as he. Wes and Chef got ready to fight before Izzy, Heather and Owen got in their way.
"Let us take care of these small fries sir. You deal with the boss." Heather requested knowing this was the best plan. "Leave these guys to us we'll deal with them no problem!" Owen promised with Izzy bouncing up and down. "Yeah chef, Supreme Commander, Vice Supreme Commander! We've got this!"
Seeing the three look so sure Wes couldn't help but smirk and nod followed Vergil and Chef. Owen and Izzy let out cheers with Heather smirking before glancing towards his friends. "You ready guys?" She asked getting nods from her tow old friends. "Well then, let's go!"
The three charged forward each going after their own group ready to show everyone here what they could do.
Izzy cackled as she sliced and diced with her daggers though that did slightly die down when she noticed that the skeletons were taking little to know damage. She didn't have much time to worry about this however as the skeletons started to gang up on her and making it hard for her to attack. 'I'm getting no where with this.' She thought before grinning widely. 'In that case.' She thought before putting away her poisonous daggers and brought out ten knives with one held between each finger.
Cackling Izzy leapt high into the air and threw her knives across the entire area where she was fighting and than a moment before she would have landed in the middle of the skeletons she vanished.
GLOB
The skeletons turned and saw 5 of their own dissolving on the ground with Izzy standing above them, two long swords in her hands. ":Like these babies? Got them a few months ago from a snake boss." She said. "They give off poison so corrosive it's basically acid!" She cackled before once more disappearing only to reappear and slice down another group of enemies.
"So that's what it looks like." Chef muttered while scratching his chin and nodding. "Wes and Vergil looked towards the cook interested so he explained. "Do you two remember what Izzy's title among the hunters is?" He asked getting nods. "Well it's all thanks to those knives she threw down that she has it. They're inscribed with runes that allow Izzy to instantly teleport to where it landed so long as the rune is intact." Chef explained "That flash of orange when she appears is what gave her the moniker The Orange Flash."
Wes whistled. "Now that's cool." He muttered getting a nod from Vergil. "Yeah but how do you know that Chef?" Vergil asked. "I did research on each enhanced before the show started. So I know the bare basics on all of you." He explained before chuckling. "Looks like Owen is starting to find his grove."
The two looked and saw that Owen was tearing through enemies and smashing them to pieces. The skeletons retreated slightly and looked unsure. "What's the matter boys, too scared to fight? He chuckled before clenching his fist. "Fine than I can work with that." He said as he flattened out his arm and hand and thrust it forward.
"Three beams of blue energy erupted from his hand and speared threw the skeletons and impaling them through causing them to turn to dust. before rising it high and swinging it down causing something to slice through the ground and cleanly cut through the rest of his enemies."
"And that's the Fork and Knife. With the Fork he can pierce almost anything and with the Knife he can cleave through anything. Add that to his tanker abilities and it's no wonder he's B ranked." Chef explained before turning to Heather "And then there's her." He said with a smirk.
'Not yet., not yet.' Heather thought seeing the skeletons getting closer and closer. 'Just about...now!" She thought before jumping back and aiming it at lead skeleton . 'First Multi Shot.' Heather fired her crossbow and the arrow divided into 5 that struck the skeleton. 'Followed by Explosive Impact.' The arrows then exploded covering the engulfing the skeleton in fire and smoke until it finally died. 'And finally Ricochet.' Heather thought with a victorious smirk as she watched more arrows shot out from the dust of the skeleton into other skeletons setting them ablaze and causing the who cycle to repeat until the skeletons were gone.
"I will never get tired of watching E ranked hunters find unique ways to bring down the enemy." Chef grinned as Owen, Izzy and Heather finished up the rest of the skeletons. "It is always fun to watch." Wes agreed. "True but I think we need to focus on the task in front of us." Vergil said. "They did their job now's time to do ours."
"Don't get ahead of yourself humans! Just because those weaklings were stronger than our servants doesn't mean-!" The scythe lord was stopped when Wes still in his reaper scythe form grabbed the lord by the face and and leapt away with him.
"Well that takes care of him." Vergil muttered before glancing towards the other 2. "Which one do you want?" Chef was unable to answer as the one welding the halberd charged forward and slammed into Chef forcing him into the wall. Vergil spared a glance towards the berserker and the staff lord took this chance to fire a barrage of Fireballs at the shaman resulting in Vergil being lost in the smoke.
Chef meanwhile was being pummeled by the halberd lord. "Well what will you do now human, just set there and wait until your body-Crack!" The lord went silent as he stared at the broken remains of his halberd until he heard an ominous chuckle. "I must really be out of shape if I allow someone like to you beat me like this." Chef muttered as he bled slightly from his mouth as a red aura surrounded him.
The lord tried to flee but Chef was to quick and within moments his head was crushed. Instantly a magic circle appeared underneath him as half a dozen skeletons leapt out at him only for them to be instantly minced and cut from Chef's knives and meat mallet.
You have acquired 2,634,300 gold for hunting a Skeleton Lord.
The level up screen appeared several times before Chef causing him to narrow his eyes. "Money's too good for a regular skeleton lord. same with the exp." He muttered before rubbing his head with a sigh.
What the hell was going on.
The staff lord hadn't stopped firing Fireballs since he had began and finally stopped to refill his mana. "He couldn't have survived that." The lord muttered until he saw a glowing transparent wall with Vergil behind it perfectly fine. "What?! How?!" The lord demanded only to gasp as several transparent spears to impale their body.
"You have the spartans to thank for that." Vergil said as the legendary spartan king Leonidas appeared behind him. The lord growled and lunged only to be assaulted and destroyed by a hail of spears with the summoned skeletons meeting the same fate a moment later.
You have acquried 2,634,300 gold for hunting a Skeleton Lord.
Vergil sighed before glancing over to where Wes had taken the last lord. "Come on man, finish this so we can go home already."
Line break.
"Wow you have to be absolutely humiliated right now." Wes laughed holding the Skeleton Lord by the throat. The lord's arms had been cut off and his bones were badly burnt. "To day was not your day." He said reverting back to his human form.
"Laugh while you can human. Even now my masters move forward towards their goal." The lord said with Wes quirking an eyebrow. "Oh yeah and just what does that entail?" The national ranked hunter asked. The Skeleton Lord laughed. "An invasion the likes of which humanity has never seen before." The lord thought as he continued to cackling. "But then again you've already experienced a taste of it during the Night of the demonic March haven't you Wes Santiago?"
SNAP
Wes didn't even realize what had happened until it was too late. To surprised that not only did the monster know who he was but that he new of the Night of the demonic march did he accidentally snap the lord's neck.
It wasn't until the skeletons emerged from the magic circle did he regain enough of his senses to chop their heads off by turning his hand into a blade.
As the screen appeared in front of him all Wes could do was stare at the broken body of the Skeleton Lord as his mind replayed what the lord had said on a continuous loop.
Line break,
The group had left the gate in salience. Having been like this since Wes regrouped with them and told them what the Skeleton Lord had told him. Finally Chef broke it. "Go to bed people I'll contact and inform the Hunter Association about what happened. As well as tell them about what little information we got." He muttered staring at the shadows and skeletons of the 3 lords that Wes had yet to dismiss.
None of the teenagers disagreed with that offer. Not even Vergil and Wes who wanted nothing more than to get to their beds and sleep.
The teens parted ways with Chef there and Wes finally sent the lords away as they walked back to the cabins in silence. No one noticed as the gate closed behind them that a red stone dropped out sunk into the sand.
The 5 teens entered their cabin in salience and crawled into their bunks. And slowly one by one they allowed sleep to take them until it was only Wes still awake. The conversation he had with the lord repeating over and over again in his head on loop.
Masters.
Massive Invasion
Night of the demonic March.
They name his name.
All that unsettled Wes in ways he hadn't felt in years. But for now he had no way to do anything about it except wait and deal with the situation like he always did.
Swiftly, effectively and mercilessly.
With that Wes closed his eyes and let himself drift off to sleep.
To be continued.
That's another chapter down and a lot happened. First I hope everyone liked how I mixed up the challenge. We also see Wes and Vergil getting closer to each other. And I'll just say it here. Wes is Bi in this just so there's no confusion.
For Heather I'm trying to give her a mind set a bit like Magneto. She doesn't hate non powered humans but she doesn't trust them based on events that will be explained later.
I'm hoping people really liked the gate section I wanted to show off their hunting abilities and thought this would be a good reason. Not to mention it gave me an idea that I can use later.
I think that's it for now
Till next time,
Bye.
