Episode 15: How Bad Do You Want It?- Downtime
"Welcome back to Total Drama Double Trouble!" Chris welcomed as the cameras panned on him in the main camp area, "Before the break, Callie wanted immunity badly enough that she willingly had her head shaved to win it. With the campers desperately wanting to stay in the game, they're bound to come up with new plans and strategies for the future. Let's take a look at what they have planned..."
--------
The cameras first turned their attention to the communal washrooms, where Veronica, Dallas, and Karlie gathered to talk about the upcoming elimination ceremony. While Karlie was merely there for a conversation, Veronica & Dallas were showering, desperate to scrub out the beet juice from their skin. Nonetheless, that didn't stop them from talking.
"Look, I get that you guys are upset at me for not winning," Dallas assured as she showered behind a curtain, "But I wasn't going to shave my head."
"I didn't expect you to do it," Veronica admitted, showering in a different stall, "It's a tough thing to ask of a woman."
"I'm actually glad that I didn't agree to bench myself for the next immunity challenge, because I wouldn't have shaved my head. I'm not entirely against it, but I wasn't guaranteed to win immunity, so I wasn't willing to take that chance."- Veronica
"I still can't believe that Callie did it," Veronica admitted, "She's crazy."
"We underestimated her," Dallas noted, "I hate to admit it, but she's stronger than she lets on."
"For as much as I really want Callie out of here, I gotta give her credit: she's dedicated to winning this game. But that confirms that she's a really big threat. But now that she has immunity, we have to turn our attention to Alina."- Dallas
"At this point, we all know what we need to do," Dallas claimed, "It's clear."
"Crystal clear," Karlie agreed as she leaned against one of the walls, "Alina has got to go."
"Callie winning immunity completely ruins my plan; if she didn't win, I would've voted her out tonight, made a final three deal with Alina & Zeyad, voted out Veronica & Dallas next, and then it's a guaranteed run to the final two. Now I have to eliminate Alina, and hope that Callie is willing to work with me tomorrow."- Karlie
"Well, we have the votes right?" Veronica asked.
"Yeah, it's us three and Zeyad," Karlie reminded, "That's the majority."
"There you are!" Zeyad exclaimed, pointing at Karlie, "We need to talk-"
"Is that Zeyad?" Dallas asked, still behind the curtain, "Get out of here!"
"Oh, sorry!" Zeyad apologized, "I didn't know-"
"I SAID GET OUT!" Dallas demanded as she blindly tossed a shampoo bottle over her shower curtain, nearly hitting Zeyad in the head.
"Dude, just go," Veronica requested as she stuck her head out from behind the curtain, "Save face."
"Fine..." Zeyad conceded as he left the communal washroom.
"Sheesh, she could've at least let me apologize. It's not like I'm interested in what's behind those curtains." *rolls eyes*- Zeyad
"Can you toss the shampoo back over, please?" Dallas requested.
"Sure," Karlie agreed as she walked over, grabbed the shampoo bottle, and tossed it over Dallas' shower curtain, "Now, back to the topic: we have the votes."
"We better have the votes; we've got enough problems," Veronica noted as she furiously scrubbed her arms, "This beet juice really does stain skin."
"Be glad that it comes out easily," Dallas noted, also scrubbing her skin, "I don't want to spend the rest of my life looking like I've been out in the sun too long."
"How long do you think it'll take to get the colour out?" Veronica asked.
"According to Callie & Alina, maybe thirty minutes," Karlie answered, "They got it out, so you two should be fine."
--------
Callie & Alina had to go through a lot of punishments during the immunity challenge. But out of all the punishments that they faced, the beet juice bath certainly wasn't the most drastic. For Callie, the reality of what she did finally sank in; she accepted that she no longer had hair on the top of her head. Although popular belief would lead many to think that Callie would be heartbroken with this punishment, she was actually in very good spirits, more so than her friend.
"Alina, don't worry about it," Callie insisted, "It's not that bad."
"C'mon, I know it's around here somewhere," Alina insisted as she looked around the female's side of the losers' cabin.
"What exactly are you looking for?" Callie asked, confused.
"That big sun hat from the dress-up challenge," Alina answered.
"Callie took a bullet for the team and had her head shaved, but I can't help but feel bad for her. For all I know, she could just be putting up a smile so I won't feel bad. As a friend, I want to help her in any way that I can."- Alina
"Here it is!" Alina announced as she pulled out the hat and placed it on Callie's head, "There you go!"
"Alina, I'm fine," Callie insisted as she took off the hat and threw it on the ground, "I'd rather not have a hat as big as me on my head."
"Sure, I have a shaved head, but it's not as bad as you would think. My head feels a lot less heavy, and I don't have to worry about doing my hair each morning." *laughs* "Of course, it's going to take a while to re-grow, but I can wait."- Callie
"How long do you think it's gonna take for my hair to grow back?" Callie asked as she rubbed her head.
"I don't even want to think about that," Alina admitted, "For your sake, I wouldn't do it either."
"Hello..." Zeyad greeted as he poked his head through the doorway, "How's bald life, Callie?"
"It's not that bad," Callie insisted, "It's literally not the end of the world."
"I would never choose to shave my head. Sure, being bald would give me one less thing to worry about when getting ready every morning, and I know that there are a lot of successful bald models out there, but I just couldn't be bald! It doesn't suit my perky face..." *shows off face*- Zeyad
"Well, while we're here, we might as well get to talking about the vote," Alina remarked, "Zeyad, is Karlie with us?"
"What? Of course she's..." Zeyad began before pausing, ".......well.....she's kinda on the fence."
"Let me guess: she wants to split up Callie and I?" Alina guessed.
"That's right," Zeyad confirmed, "She's pretty adamant."
"Throwing my final two deal under the bus doesn't sound like a good idea, but I need to change the 'elimination order'. The more suspicious that Karlie looks, the less suspicious I look, and the greater chance that I have of heading to the final two."- Zeyad
"Please don't tell Karlie that I said this," Zeyad requested.
"Hey guys," Karlie greeted as she walked into the room.
"Hey, Karlie!" Zeyad greeted enthusiastically has he went to hug Karlie, "Good to see you!"
"Okay..." Karlie muttered as she carefully pushed Zeyad off of her and pulled out a purple fedora, "One thing: here you go, Callie."
"Thanks!" Callie thanked as she placed the purple fedora on her head, "Where'd you get it?"
"I kept it from the dressing challenge," Karlie admitted.
"Wait, why did you accept her hat and not mine?" Alina asked, laughing.
"Because in this hat, I can still look up at the sky," Callie noted, pointing to the fedora, "And this hat isn't bigger than me."
"It suits you well," Karlie claimed.
"Callie seems to be taking the baldness well, but that doesn't mean that I can't help her out. If she knows that I'm looking out for her, it'll make her feel safe, and it'll make it easier for me to get her on my side after Alina leaves tonight."- Karlie
"So....what's our plan for the vote?" Karlie asked.
"Well, I'd like us four to vote together," Callie suggested, "We vote for either Veronica or Dallas."
"I think we should split the votes," Karlie proposed, "We can do something like....Callie & Alina vote for Veronica, and Zeyad & I vote for Dallas."
"That's fine," Alina agreed, "Just one question: who's our target?"
"Veronica is the bigger threat," Callie noted, "At least, I think so."
"Right; Veronica could probably beat us in any big physical challenge," Alina added.
"I guess we can deal with Dallas for one more episode," Karlie agreed, "What do you think, Zeyad?"
"I'm okay with whatever you want," Zeyad claimed, "As long as we stay together and agree to not change the plan, we should be able to get this done, right Karlie?"
"Zeyad....mind if I talk to you in private?" Karlie asked, adding emphasis.
"Sure..." Zeyad agreed, "Of course we can talk."
"Um..." Callie muttered, confused, "Guys-"
"Don't worry, Callie; the plan is still on. Him and I just need to have a talk," Karlie assured as she pulled Zeyad out of the cabin and slammed the door.
"Well..." Alina muttered, "....that was weird."
"We're gonna have to watch them," Callie rationalized as she walked up to the window, allowing her to watch Karlie & Zeyad walking away.
"What're they doing?" Alina asked as she joined Callie by the window.
"They're arguing," Callie answered.
"About what?" Alina asked.
"I don't know.....and I've got a bad feeling about this," Callie admitted as she walked away from the window and sat on a bunk.
"Why?" Alina asked, "Do you think they're lying to us?"
"Remember what Zeyad said about Karlie being on the fence?" Callie recalled, "I think Karlie wants to vote you out but Zeyad is trying to keep us safe."
"Of course," Alina remarked as she laid down in a different bunk, "She really wants to split us up."
"I need to find a way to keep you safe," Callie declared, "If Zeyad can't convince her, I need to do something so you won't be voted out."
"Y'know Callie, I wouldn't want you to do this if you didn't want to," Alina prefaced, "But if it's not too much trouble, friend-to-friend, I'd be forever grateful if you used your invincibility statue on me."
"I have an idea..." Callie admitted, "But it'll take some work..."
"It feels good knowing that I can't be voted out, but Alina is still vulnerable, and I'm not going to throw her under the bus. I'm going to find a way to keep her safe, and if I don't have to use my invincibility statue, I won't. Hey, I might be paranoid: maybe Karlie & Zeyad are on my side completely, but I don't know."- Callie
--------
Callie's paranoia was justified; her analysis of Karlie & Zeyad's conversation was spot on. Karlie was upset that Zeyad was throwing shade at her, and dragged him away to the beach so they could discuss their plans for the vote. Once again, they were the swing votes, and were ready to make their cases for what they believed was the right plan for them going forward.
"You idiot!" Karlie exclaimed as she slapped Zeyad on the back of the head, "Don't call me out like that!"
"I didn't call you out; I threw shade," Zeyad explained, "There's a difference."
"Zeyad's starting to annoy me again; now I understand why people wanted him out so badly last season. He's choosing the wrong time to be loyal; he needs to understand that Alina needs to get voted out tonight."- Karlie
"We are not betraying Callie & Alina tonight," Zeyad demanded, "I'm putting my foot down!"
"Well I'm picking it back up," Karlie retorted, "I'm not gonna be known as the girl who got voted out because she couldn't split up a damn duo!"
"It's not gonna happen! For example: Katelyn couldn't split up Daniel & Amalia last season and people-" Zeyad began before stopping, "Well....I guess people still don't like her-"
"Exactly! We're gonna be labelled as the dumbest players in Total Drama history if we don't vote for Alina," Karlie insisted, "We have to make this move!"
"I'm just scared, "Zeyad admitted, scared, "What if Callie or Alina have an invincibility statue, use it on Alina, Veronica goes home, and we're exposed for not siding with them."
"It won't matter, because we'll still have the advantage!" Karlie noted, "Dallas will still be here to vote with us and we can split up the duo at the final five! We have to take this chance!"
"When I aligned with Karlie, I didn't know that she'd be this passionate about making big moves. Sure, I want to make big moves too, but not if they hurt my game; it's bad enough as it is! I need to work on making less people hate me, even if it means being less loud."- Zeyad
"Attention campers!" Chris called out from the loudspeakers, "It's time for the elimination ceremony! Please make your way to the campfire area, now!"
"I just....I just don't know!" Zeyad claimed, "I don't want to make the wrong choice!"
"Trust me, Zeyad," Karlie pleaded as she grabbed her ally by the shoulders, "This is the move that guarantees us a ticket to the final four. Let's do this."
--------
"It looks like Karlie & Zeyad have a big decision on their hands," Chris commented as the footage switched to him sitting in the cameraworkers' room, "How will the two of them vote? Who will be voted out next? And what will the campers do when they're faced with a new twist? Find out after the break, right here, on Total...Drama...Double Trouble!"
