Episode 11: It's All Blown Up- Nighttime/Morning

"Last time on Total Drama Double Trouble..." Chris began through a narration, "Tory's elimination further spread the cracks in the majority alliance. Daniel & Karlie began plotting against Rhythm & Dallas, while Veronica, Rhythm, Dallas, and Callie were torn on whether or not to stay loyal to their alliance."

*Shows shots of Daniel & Karlie talking in the mini-mansion, and Veronica, Rhythm, Dallas, & Callie talking in the losers' cabin*

"Meanwhile, despite a valiant attempt to find any sort of advantage, Alina was unable to have any success on Boney Island."

*Shows shots of Alina treading through the rain, Alina looking through bushes, and Alina shaking her head in disappointment*

"With their backs up against the wall, Zeyad & Spencer waited for an opportunity to come and find them, which happened when Kavan suggested that they work together to split up Rhythm & Dallas."

*Shows shots of Zeyad & Spencer on the beach, and Kavan talking to Zeyad & Spencer*

"During the immunity challenge, the campers had to consume dishes from the Total Drama Confectionery Café from Hell. Zeyad & Spencer coughed up clouds of cinnamon, Rhythm suffered through brain freeze, and Kavan managed to swallow some rank fish."

*Shows shots of Chef Hatchet showing the dishes, Zeyad & Spencer spitting out cinnamon, Rhythm getting brain freeze, and Kavan forcefully swallowing fish*

"But it was Callie's ability to drink a blended ham & cheese melt, enjoy a sardine salad, and stomach Juggy Chunks-coated french fries that earned her individual immunity."

*Shows shots of Callie chugging the Ham & Cheese Malt, scarfing down the Sardine Salad, finishing the last of the Juggy Chunks Fries, and receiving the Golden Marshmallow necklace from Chris*

"With feelings to clear up, Rhythm & Dallas agreed with Daniel to stay aligned in order to eliminate Spencer & Zeyad. But that didn't stop the rest of her alliance from aligning with Spencer & Zeyad to split up the girlfriends, with the goal to eliminate the unpredictable Dallas."

*Shows shots of Rhythm, Dallas, & Daniel talking, Veronica, Kavan, Karlie, Callie, & Alina talking, and Karlie talking with Spencer & Zeyad*

"But Callie's firm belief that Rhythm was the bigger threat lead her to plead to her allies to help her blindside Rhythm. But to her dismay, she couldn't get anyone on board until she talked to Karlie, which left them both in a tough spot."

*Shows shots of Callie thinking deeply, Callie talking to Alina, Alina shaking her head, Callie talking to Karlie, and of Callie & Karlie stressing*

"In the end, Callie & Karlie switched their votes to Rhythm and sent her packing in a blindside, leaving Dallas angered beyond belief and her alliance members uncertain of their future."

*Shows shots of Callie & Karlie voting for Rhythm, Rhythm being sent away from the island, Dallas looking upset, Veronica looking shocked, Kavan with his mouth dropped, Alina looking around quickly, and Daniel being confused*

"Nine campers are left; who will be voted out next? Find out right here, on Total...Drama...Double Trouble!"

--------

After the theme song finished playing, the view focused on the living room of the mini-mansion, where Callie & Daniel were ready to talk about the last elimination ceremony. While Callie knew what happened, Daniel was still out of the loop about it all, and both campers were ready to accomplish their goals with this meeting.

"Thanks for picking me to join you," Daniel thanked as he walked into the living room with two plates of tomato & onion omelettes, "It means a lot."

"Well, thank you for making a snack!" Callie returned as she took a plate from Daniel and took a bite of the omelette on it.

"Is it good?" Daniel asked, wanting feedback.

"It's amazing," Callie admitted after swallowing her first bite.

"Thanks," Daniel thanked again, "But now, I want to talk about what happened at the last elimination ceremony."

"Oh yeah..." Callie muttered nervously, "Well, Karlie and I switched our votes."

"This is the second time that I didn't tell Daniel about a blindside; I don't want him to think that I'm untrustworthy. Hopefully by being honest with him, he'll still want to work with me. Honesty is the best policy, right?"- Callie

"May I please know why?" Daniel asked, "I just want to know the reasoning behind it."

"Everyone likes Rhythm; once Dallas was gone, people would probably target people like you and me," Callie noted, "I wanted to do what I thought was best for my allies."

"It's really good that Callie is thinking about how to keep her and I safe; she's just as loyal as she was last year. The part that's not so good is that if she decides to take a shot at me, which very well could happen, I'm not going to see it coming. Unless it's us two in the final three with Alina and then Callie wins immunity; then I'll know that she'll be voting me out. But I guess I'll have to keep my faith in her."- Daniel

"Thanks for thinking of all of us," Daniel thanked, "Honestly, this is the kind of loyalty that could take us all the way to the final four."

"I'd love to go to the final four together," Callie admitted, "So that's us two, and who else?"

"I think it should be Alina & Karlie," Daniel answered, "After all, the four of us started out on the same team, and we were the dominant alliance on our team."

"That's true; it'd be really cool if the four of us could make it to the final four," Callie agreed.

"There are people who would want to get rid of Daniel because he's a good player; I'm not one of them. Daniel's been good to me, both this season and last season. I'm not gonna betray him until I have to, and I hope that he feels the same way."- Callie

"I'm just worried that we won't get there," Callie admitted, "I hope that Veronica & Kavan will forgive Karlie and I for swapping."

"I feel like they would," Daniel commented, "There are much bigger things to worry about than whether or not two people switched their votes."

--------

While Daniel was right in saying that there were much bigger problems in the game, that didn't stop the others from focusing on the recent events. In the female's side of the losers' cabin, the remainder of the majority alliance gathered to discuss the recent elimination ceremony. Even though their alliance fractured with the previous vote, this conversation had the potential to bring them back together.

"Alright, let's get something settled," Veronica declared as she stood near the front door, "Dallas, I don't want yelling, screaming, or cursing. I want to have a genuine talk."

"I'm not yelling," Dallas pointed out, "What do you have to say?"

"The plan was to split up you and Rhythm, and you were the intended target," Veronica admitted, "But I wasn't the one that switched the vote."

"I get that Dallas will be mad that she was the intended target, but I think she's more upset that Rhythm was voted out when she totally didn't deserve to go. If I can figure out who switched their votes, I might be able to keep the target off of my back and put it on someone else's."- Veronica

"Then tell me who did," Dallas requested, managing to keep her composure, "Who was supposed to vote for who?"

"Me, Roni, Karlie, Callie, and Alina were supposed to vote for you," Kavan revealed, "Daniel, Spencer, & Zeyad were supposed to vote for Rhythm."

"Dallas being in the game is kinda scary; that's why we wanted to vote her out. But hopefully she's so focused on getting revenge for Rhythm that she doesn't focus on Roni and I."- Kavan

"Don't be looking at me," Karlie insisted, trying to keep herself out of the spotlight, "I didn't swap."

"If none of you three swapped, then I guess Callie & Alina swapped," Dallas rationalized, "Wow. I didn't expect that."

"I guess Alina's capable of doing that, but Callie really shocked me. I didn't think she had it in her. She just doesn't seem like the kind of girl to pull off that kind of move. Something's not right..."- Dallas

"I guess we underestimated the two of them," Veronica commented, "They're a tough duo."

"They're smart," Kavan commented, "They both might just be really good strategists."

"No. There's no way..." Dallas insisted as she stood up from her bunk, "I don't think they're strategists."

"What do you mean?" Karlie asked, confused, "How could they intentionally switch if they didn't think about doing it?"

"I don't think they came up with the plan," Dallas explained, "They're not devious enough to do it."

"Then who do you think came up with it?" Veronica asked, curious.

"Isn't it obvious?" Dallas asked, "Daniel planned it all!"

"It makes perfect sense! Daniel is known for making big moves like this. He learned from last season; he's giving no f*cks and manipulated two girls into doing his dirty work! This is a big, blinking sign that Daniel needs to go."- Dallas

"And it makes sense: last season, Rhythm convinced Amalia to blindside him, so he probably wanted to get revenge," Dallas suggested, trying to make a point.

"That's......bad. I was fine with Callie & Alina taking the hit, but I can't afford to have Daniel get targeted right now. He's pretty much my one big shield protecting me from being targeted. Yeah, Veronica & Dallas are targets, but I'm trying to get them out too. I need Daniel in this game a little bit longer to keep me hidden."- Karlie

"I don't know..." Karlie commented, "Daniel's not the 'revenge' kind of guy. Callie & Alina blindsided his best friend earlier on, and he didn't bat an eye."

"Even if he isn't, would you put it past him to do that?" Dallas asked, to which no one responded, "Exactly. Daniel is capable of anything, and I think he's been flying under the radar for too long."

"This might be the opportunity that we've been looking for," Veronica commented, "If we really feel that Daniel is behind this, I see no reason why we can't take a shot at him."

"Last season, this was the time when Daniel decided to blindside me. This season, I think it'd be kinda funny if I blindsided him now. Even though he hasn't made any big moves yet, he's bound to start eventually, so it's probably best that I get him out before he does that."- Veronica

"He's definitely dangerous," Veronica agreed, nodding her head in response, "And I don't think he'd expect a blindside right now."

"Are you okay with this, Kavan?" Karlie asked, "I mean, you two are really good friends."

"It'll be a tough thing to deal with, but if this is what we have to do, then I'll do it," Kavan admitted.

"Before we came here, Daniel & I had an agreement that we would stay loyal to each other unless Roni or Amalia was in danger of being eliminated. He knows that I love Roni and I know that he loves Amalia, so we didn't want out friendship to get ruined because of our other relationships. So now that the choice is between Roni & Daniel, I've gotta vote out my buddy. Sorry dude."- Kavan

"Do you think that Zeyad & Spencer would be down for this?" Dallas asked, "That way we can split the vote."

"As far as I know, they still hate Daniel," Karlie answered, "They probably won't mind."

"Well, if you can get them on board, we can get this plan going," Veronica declared, pointing at Karlie.

"You can count on me," Karlie assured.

"It's soothing knowing that I'm not the one suspected of swapping. But it's kinda worrying that Daniel might get voted out. He may be a threat, but he's a threat on my side. I've gotta find a way to turn this around. Hmm...maybe Alina can find something on Boney Island that we can use to save this."- Karlie

--------

Advantages were wanted by all campers in the game. Whether it was an invincibility statue or a vote blocker, any advantage had the potential to help your game in a big way. While they all wanted an advantage, very few were able to get their hands on one. For many, they weren't given the opportunity to go to Boney Island, and for those who were lucky enough to get a chance, it wasn't a smooth road either.

"This is too familiar..." Alina muttered as she trod through the forest.

"I'm back at Boney Island and I can honestly say that I'm not happy about it. I don't know why Callie sent me here over Daniel; Daniel is way more likely to find an invincibility statue than I am. But if I'm here, I might as well look for one."- Alina

Alina was right in the sense that she had the opportunity to look for any sort of advantage, but that didn't guarantee that she'd find anything. If there was one thing going for her, since this was the second time that she visited the island and she received the same clue that she got last time, she knew where she had already looked before, and set her focus on the unexplored parts of the island. But even with a section of the island having already been searched, Alina was unable to decipher the meaning behind 'hope your brain is more than a brick'. Not wanting to completely exhaust herself, she returned to the beach after two hours of searching to rest.

"0 for 2," Alina remarked, effectively summarizing her trips to Boney Island, "Not good enough."

"We're halfway through the game, so I really need to think about how I'm going to get to the finale. Now that I think about it, I haven't really done much. I haven't won individual immunity, and I've never been the one to plan out a blindside. If I keep this up, I might not have a good case to win. I've got to find a way to start making big moves."- Alina

--------

At this point in the game, big moves were imminent; whether it was blindsiding a big threat or forming a new alliance, big moves were due to be made. For people like Zeyad & Spencer, making a big move was the only thing at the front of their minds. Even though they managed to get the majority alliance to crack, they still felt that they were at the bottom, and they were ready to do whatever they had to do.

"Another morning, another day of being loners," Spencer remarked as him and Zeyad paced throughout the campground.

"We're not loners; we have each other," Zeyad corrected as he placed his arm around Spencer, "And hey, our fortunes could change."

"Rhythm leaving doesn't really hurt my game; she had the chance to side with us and she didn't take it. Now I've got to find another person to use as our mole. And I think I know who that'll be..."- Zeyad

"What's our next plan of attack?" Spencer asked.

"Karlie's our best bet to getting back in power," Zeyad insisted, "I think we gotta go talk to her."

Now that the first member of the majority alliance was voted out, the outsider duo was ready to make their move and form a new alliance. And their first step was to talk to the girl who communicated with them last episode. Even though Karlie was told to talk to them, that didn't stop them from believing that she wanted to align with them. After almost five minutes of searching, they found their potential ally standing alone behind the mini-mansion.

"Hey!" Zeyad greeted as him and Spencer approached Karlie, "What's up?"

"I wanted alone time..." Karlie muttered under her breath before turning to face the duo, "Not much. You?"

"We're fine, but we need to talk," Spencer insisted, "Last night was weird, but it wasn't any of us leaving, so it's fine. We still want to work with you."

"There's not many people left to turn to for help. Veronica & Kavan are a duo, Callie & Alina are a duo, Dallas is unpredictable, and Daniel is untrustworthy. Karlie is probably my best hope at gaining numbers right now."- Spencer

"As I said, I'm always willing to listen," Karlie reminded, not wanting to fully commit, "What did you guys have in mind?"

"Well, can you give us some info?" Zeyad asked, "Just so we know what we're getting into."

"Umm..." Karlie muttered, pondering what to say, "The rumour going around is that Callie & Alina swapped their votes."

"That makes sense, I guess," Spencer remarked, "So, are they being targeted?"

"Those two and Daniel are being targeted," Karlie confirmed, "Although, I don't know if that's the right move."

"What do you think is the right move?" Spencer asked, trying to understand what Karlie was thinking.

"I'm thinking that the group is divided into two parts: Daniel, Callie, & Alina, and Veronica, Kavan, & Dallas," Karlie explained, "We're in the middle."

"I wanted to give the two of them the feeling of power. What I'm hoping for is that they go power hungry, and then they'll be targeted much more by the others. Because right now, they're not looking that threatening."- Karlie

"We have the power to pick a side," Karlie noted, "We've just got to make the right choice."

"Attention campers!" Chris called out from the loudspeakers, "It's time for the next challenge! Make your way to the beach, now!"

"Well, we'll figure that out after the challenge, c'mon!" Spencer ushered as the trio ran towards the beach.

--------

After about five minutes, all present campers arrived at the beach, where Alina was waiting for them. Together, they gazed at the 45ft long, 10ft high wall in front of them, which was separated into nine equal sections by Plexiglas panels. In each section was a fairly complicated object resting on a wooden box. Looking closely, the object consisted of five red, upright tubes, a timer on the front of the mass of tubes, and multiple wires of different colours hanging around the tubes. It didn't take long for everyone to realize that they'd be playing with bombs.

But what caught everyone's eyes the most was the man & woman dressed in construction worker outfits and standing by a large television screen. The man stood confidently as he removed his worker's helmet to run his fingers through his black and green hair. The woman had a cheerful expression on her face, with her long, blonde hair blowing in the wind, her brown, starred boots helping her stand tall, and her tangerine-coloured, jean skirt leaving much of her legs exposed. When seeing the descriptive features put together, everyone knew who they were.

"Wait, are you Duncan and Lindsay?!" Callie asked, getting giddy.

"That's right," Duncan confirmed, causing the campers to cheer in excitement, "Looks like we got ourselves some fans."

"Duh, of course we have fans!" Lindsay exclaimed, turning to face Duncan, "A week ago, someone came up to me and asked me for an autograph."

"No...a week ago, Chris handed you a contract and told you to sign your name," Duncan corrected, "And I know that because we were in the same room!"

"I only came back because Chris offered big 'moolah' for it. But if I knew that Lindsay was gonna be with me, I would've asked for more. That girl hasn't changed a bit."- Duncan

"I'm so excited to be back on Total Drama! I haven't been on a big tv show since All-Stars. Well, there was the time that I was in the news for the grand opening of my boutique, but that was for only like, two minutes. Maybe when I get back home, more people will recognize me!"- Lindsay

"What brings you guys here?" Kavan asked, curious.

"Chris wanted to bring back some old campers, so he brought us back," Duncan explained.

"A little reunion of the Total Drama Action final two!" Lindsay added as she hugged Duncan.

"Uh...the final two was me and Beth," Duncan corrected, "Would you mind letting go?"

"Oh....sorry!" Lindsay apologized, letting go of her friend.

"Anyways, it's time for your next challenge: Total Drama Demolition," Duncan declared, "Back in Total Drama Action, we were unable to diffuse the stink bombs because Chris screwed us over. Today, you'll do the same. The challenge is in rounds: in each round, a combination of wires will flash by on the screen, and you'll be asked to cut a certain wire in the sequence, based on it's location in the sequence."

"This sounds like a memory challenge; I might actually have a chance!"- Spencer

"And another memory challenge...and I can't luck my way out of it..."- Dallas

"I have a sub-eidetic memory so hopefully this will be a walk in the park."- Daniel

"If you cut the right wire, you're safe. If you cut the wrong wire, you blow up and you get paint splattered all over you!" Lindsay added enthusiastically, "The last one without paint on them wins immunity!"

"By the way, I wanted to use stink bombs!" Chris shouted from behind the wall of cameramen, "But legal issues and yada yada yada....I can't do it."

"Why couldn't the legal stuff kick in when we were on the show?" Duncan asked.

"Because when you two were on the show, the network didn't have to go through eight years of lawsuits to get us back on the air," Chris answered as a camera turned to face him, "Who will successfully diffuse this situation? And who'll explode from anger after they lose? Find out after the break right here, on Total...Drama...Double Trouble!"
