Episode 10: Spilling The Beans- Nighttime/Morning

"Last time on Total Drama Double Trouble..." Chris began as the de facto narrator, "Cole's elimination brought the minority alliance down to three, with their only hope being the fractures in the majority alliance: the tension between Veronica & Dallas, and the paranoia between Daniel & Rhythm."

*Shows shots of Tory, Spencer, & Zeyad being exasperated, Veronica & Dallas talking, and Daniel & Rhythm talking*

"During the immunity challenge, the campers put their minds to the test in a blackjack marathon. Daniel took the challenge by storm and knocked out camper after camper after camper. But in the end, it was Karlie who added her way to an individual immunity win."

*Shows shots of cards flashing by the screen, Daniel buzzing in, Spencer, Tory, & Zeyad walking to the losers' bench, Karlie buzzing in, and Karlie receiving the golden marshmallow necklace*

"With the majority alliance still in power, a plan was in place to split their votes between Tory and Zeyad, with Tory being their main target."

*Shows shots of the majority alliance meeting in the mini-mansion, Tory & Zeyad talking, and the camera focusing on Tory*

"But Rhythm had a different plan. With her sights set on making a big move, Rhythm recruited the minority alliance to help her blindside Daniel. While Tory, Spencer, & Zeyad were on board, Dallas was worried that it would hurt her improving social game and put a target on her back."

*Shows shots of Rhythm thinking deeply, Daniel walking through the camp, Rhythm talking with Tory, Spencer, & Zeyad, Rhythm talking with Dallas, and Dallas being visibly concerned*

"In the end, Rhythm & Dallas balked from the plan, stuck with their alliance, and voted Tory out of the game, but not before he could call them out for their betrayal."

*Shows shots of Rhythm & Dallas voting for Tory, Tory & Dallas arguing, and Tory being sent away from the island on the Jet Ski of Losers*

"Ten campers are left; who will be voted out next? Find out right here, on Total...Drama...Return to Wawanakwa!"

--------

In a change from the normal, the cameras first turned their attention to the kitchen in the mini-mansion, where Karlie & Daniel were talking about the recent elimination ceremony and their future gameplans. With Daniel having received votes, they wanted to re-evaluate and figure out what they wanted to do in order to get themselves closer to the final two.

"That was interesting," Karlie remarked as she sipped some grape juice from her glass.

"I mean, compared to the other events this season, it's pretty big," Daniel agreed as he kept his eyes on the uncooked omelette on the stove, "But if you ask me, this is only the start of the chaos."

"I got votes and I'm not too content with it. This could put a bigger target on my back and that's something that I just can't afford to have. And even though I have an invincibility statue, I still have to plan when to use it. Apparently, the 'special powers' that the statue has is that if I get voted out without having played it, I can 'will' it to someone still in the game. They call it a 'Spirit Head'."- Daniel

"Do you think that Rhythm & Dallas were actually planning to blindside me?" Daniel asked.

"I'm sure of it," Karlie admitted, "I mean, why would Tory lie about that?"

"To try and split up the majority alliance," Daniel answered confidently, "Don't get me wrong; I think he was telling the truth, but I don't want to make a snap decision."

"I see," Karlie assured, "If you ask me, I think that now is the time to split the two of them up."

"Even though Dallas was being nice since she got back, I knew that eventually, she wouldn't be able to hide it anymore. It's clear that she has to go, and I'm gonna make sure it happens."- Karlie

"And with what just went down at the elimination ceremony, I don't think that Veronica & Kavan would be against it," Karlie admitted, "And now that their alliance is almost completely dead, Zeyad & Spencer will go along with anything that keeps them safe."

"What about Callie & Alina?" Daniel reminded, "They'd vote with us."

"Alina would vote with us, but I don't know if Callie would vote for Dallas," Karlie claimed, "She's getting really close to Dallas."

"Is it that bad?" Daniel asked as he moved the pan off the stove to plate two omelettes, "I mean, I knew that the two of them talked, but is Callie really that close to Dallas?"

"I think so," Karlie answered, "I'm really getting worried."

"Well, what do you expect us to do?" Daniel asked as he pushed an omelette with a plate towards Karlie, "It's not like we can just blindside Dallas without Callie knowing; that's a mistake that I'm not willing to make."

"We have to think of something," Karlie remarked as she took a bite of her omelette, "First off: this is so damn good..."

"Thanks," Daniel thanked as he moved the pan to the sink and began washing it, "I've had a lot of practice."

"Do you always cook omelettes?" Karlie asked, "Because Amalia talks about them like it's all that you know how to cook."

"I stress cook," Daniel admitted, "And omelettes are a good snack."

"It's a habit. Some people stress clean, some people stress eat, and some people stress jog. I just happen to stress cook. At least I get a lot of practice."- Daniel

"Back to the topic: what are we going to do?" Daniel asked, "What should we do in order to get Dallas out?"

"Well, we've got to introduce the idea to Veronica, Kavan, Alina, & Callie," Karlie commented as she continued to eat her omelette, "Hopefully we can convince them that it's the best for all of us."

--------

While Karlie & Daniel planned their next moves to convince their other alliance members to betray Rhythm & Dallas, the two girlfriends were busy trying to do damage control. As of now, they were in the female's side of the losers' cabin with Veronica and Callie, doing their best to convince the two of them that their actions were justified.

"Honestly, there's no hiding it: we did try to get rid of Daniel," Rhythm confessed, "But hey, we all would've done it eventually."

"I still can't believe Dallas convinced me to not go with the blindside. Trust me, I really want Daniel out. And now that he knows that I was planning to vote him out, he's going to be after me. Now I have no choice but to take him out."- Rhythm

"Daniel's a threat; no one can deny it," Rhythm insisted, "I still think that now is the time to take him out."

"Daniel's a nice guy, though," Callie interjected, "He doesn't deserve to go yet."

"Callie, I know that you want to be the nice girl here, but we've all got to get blood on our hands eventually," Dallas noted, "This is the time to make the move."

"I need six votes to get rid of Daniel. There's me, Rhythm, Kavan, and Veronica. For the last two votes, I'm hoping that I can use my connection with Callie to convince her and Alina to vote with us."- Dallas

"Callie, I know you might not want to, but eventually, we're all gonna have to be 'bad'," Dallas reminded, "This is the time."

"Um....." Callie muttered not making eye contact with anyone, "Uh...."

"I really don't want to betray anyone right now. The last time that I betrayed Daniel, I almost destroyed my alliance. I don't want to have to betray anyone if I don't have to."- Callie

"Why can't we just go after Zeyad?" Callie suggested, "He wants me out and he probably wants you two out too."

"Zeyad will do anything to stay in this game," Rhythm claimed, "If Veronica tells him to vote for Daniel, he'll do it."

"And if Zeyad will do it, Spencer will do it too," Dallas added.

"Veronica, what do you think?" Callie asked, looking for someone to back her up.

"I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but it's something that we need to be careful with," Veronica replied.

"I don't want to show my cards if I don't have to. Yeah, I want Daniel out, but I need him here a bit longer to keep the target off of my back; people already want him out, so the longer he stays, the longer I go without being targeted."- Veronica

"If we are taking the shot at Daniel, we need to make sure that we have the numbers to split the vote," Veronica rationalized.

"Are you actually fine with this?" Callie asked, a bit scared.

"I'm not saying that we need to make the move now, but we've always got to consider it," Veronica explained, "To be perfectly honest, I don't think that Daniel would be against voting out Spencer or Zeyad."

"C'mon, if there's one thing that Daniel is known for, it's for being smart," Rhythm insisted, "He knows that Dallas & I almost voted for him, so he'll be dead-set on voting for us."

"Do you know what Daniel also is? Forgiving," Veronica added, "Heck, he forgave Amalia after she voted him out three times! If that's not forgiving, I don't know what is."

"Yeah!" Callie agreed, "There's no way that Daniel holds a grudge!"

"I don't want Daniel to go yet. He's a great guy and ever since Amalia left, he's done his best to keep Karlie, Alina, and I safe, especially me. He even played an invincibility statue to save me! It would be really disrespectful if I voted him out."- Callie

"Right now, I'm trying to convince Rhythm & Dallas to keep their sights on Zeyad and Spencer. But in reality, I want Dallas out. Now that she has no other choice, she's trying to push her agenda, and I don't need her trying to take control of the game."- Veronica

"I mean, I want to hear the words come out of Daniel's mouth that he won't come after us this episode," Dallas declared.

"Seriously?" Rhythm asked, turning to face her girlfriend with a shocked expression, "He'll just lie straight to our faces!"

"I want to hear him say it," Dallas insisted, "I'll judge him for myself."

"Fine, but if he is actually lying, we start plotting to take him out," Rhythm remarked, "Which means that Veronica needs to get Kavan on board and Callie needs to get Alina on board."

"Alina..." Callie muttered as she thought of her best friend, "I hope she's doing alright."

--------

Callie had every right to be worried for Alina. Much like the campers before her, Alina found herself in a hellish environment on Boney Island. Even though the environment was predictable (torrential rain, hurling winds, cracks of thunder and lightning), it didn't make the experience any easier. But they didn't go there for the experience; they went there for a reward.

"One foot in front of the other..." Alina muttered as she continued to walk as she held a big fern leaf over her head.

"I'm sure that everyone says this, but Boney Island is a terrible place. Karlie really should've sent Daniel here instead of me; he's got wayyyy better odds of finding something than I do. But now that I'm here, I might as well try to find something good."- Alina

Luckily for Alina, the clue that she received upon reaching the island was the same as the one that Karlie received. And since Karlie didn't find the invincibility statue for that clue, the invincibility head was still on the island and ripe for being found. However, with the harsh weather fighting back with all of its power, Alina wasn't able to do much searching before giving up. Cold, wet, and drained of energy, she retreated back to her makeshift shack on the beach after an hour of searching.

"And....that failed," Alina remarked as she thought about not finding anything, "Maybe someone else has it..."

"I'm not a 'master treasure finder' or anything like that, but I searched for a while. For all I know, someone may have found it before I did. Hmm....Amalia left already, Callie would've told me....Spencer, Daniel & Cole used them already...that leaves Karlie. Although I feel like she would've told me."- Alina

--------

The secret of having an invincibility statue was very important. If you had one, you could feel secure knowing that you had a lifeline. Conversely, if you didn't have an invincibility statue, you had to live in fear knowing that someone else around you could have it instead of you. This sensation was felt by Spencer & Zeyad. After losing another ally and getting a good night's sleep, the two of them were resting on beach chairs on the beach, trying to take in the new morning.

"Ugh.....now do we go and talk to them?" Spencer asked.

"No, we wait for them to come to us," Zeyad corrected.

"I know that Veronica & Daniel are the heads of the other alliance; they've got to be thinking about what Tory said before he left. Eventually, they'll want to use Spencer and I as votes to help them blindside someone. Hopefully it's Dallas."- Zeyad

"I trust you, dude, but I don't know if I can afford to wait," Spencer admitted, "We're walking on really thin ice."

"C'mon, there's only two of us left; there's no way that we're more threatening than Rhythm & Dallas right now," Zeyad insisted, "The two of them have to be on the chopping block."

"We're the only two left in our alliance," Spencer reminded, "We don't have much time left."

"Zeyad's a confident guy, but I don't want to get whittled away at like a cheap piece of wood. I came here to play the game and sitting around just doesn't excite me."- Spencer

"There you guys are!" Kavan exclaimed as he ran up to the duo, "I've been looking for you guys all morning!"

"Told you," Zeyad noted, talking to Spencer.

"What's going on?" Spencer asked, ignoring his ally.

"Obviously, it's been your alliance against mine, but now we want to work with you guys," Kavan declared.

"Veronica told me about the plan to eliminate Dallas, and I'm fine with that. I don't have any real connection to Dallas, and she's been kinda volatile lately. Now, it's up to me to talk to Zeyad and Spencer to get the votes on our side."- Kavan

"What would you like us to do?" Zeyad asked, curious.

"Well, it's clear that Dallas & Rhythm are kinda becoming less trustworthy," Kavan noted, "We want to know if you guys can help us split them up."

"You came to the right guys," Zeyad assured as he stood up and shook Kavan's right hand, "It's a deal."

"Uh...okay!" Kavan agreed, "It's a deal."

"That was easy. I guess Veronica was right; they are desperate." *chuckles*- Kavan

"Hopefully Kavan is actually being honest and isn't just pulling us along. He seems like a genuine guy, but this is Total Drama; the nicest people could be your worst enemy."- Zeyad

"Campers! It's time for your next challenge!" Chris announced over the loudspeakers, "Make your way down the path behind the mini-mansion now!"

"We'll talk about this later," Kavan declared as he began walking away, "We gotta make sure that neither of them win immunity."

--------

No one knew for certain with what the challenge would be. The last three times that Chris led them down the path behind the mini-mansion, they had to race around a maze, try on random items of clothing, and play memory blackjack. For all they knew, the next challenge could force them to skydive from the top of Wawanakwa Mountain down to the campsite. But to their elation, they were back at the mystery building in the production camp: the location of the last two immunity challenges.

"Incoming!" Chef Hatchet exclaimed as he zoomed in on his jeep before braking to a sharp stop, "Now you may get off."

"I wanted to get off a while ago..." Alina muttered as she jumped off and rejoined the group, "It's really nice to see another face."

"Or a few," Callie noted as she ran and hugged Alina, "Missed you."

"Missed you too," Alina remarked, reciprocating the hug.

"Chef, where's Chris?" Dallas asked, wanting to get the group moving.

"C'mon kid, I was gonna get to it," Chef Hatchet insisted, "Don't steal my thunder."

"Sorry," Dallas apologized sarcastically, "Go ahead!"

"I take a good six weeks out of my busy schedule to be here; the least that Chris could do is give me more screen time. Man, thirteen years of this show and ya' think he'd change by now."- Chef Hatchet

"Chris wants you all to go in for the challenge," Chef Hatchet declared, "And don't worry, I'll be right behind you."

"That makes me more worried," Karlie whispered to Daniel.

With that, the ten campers made their way into the building one by one. In contrast to the last challenge, the room was fully lit. Gazing at their surroundings, the room appeared to be in the style of a stereotypical French café. The floor was made of white tiles with black lining, dark brown tables & chairs, photos of the l'Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower, shaded lights hanging over each table, and little potted plants situated around the room.

But what was most eye-catching to the campers was a 48-inch diameter table in the center of the room. And waiting for them all was Chris McLean standing behind a marble counter-top with a sign above his head with the words 'Total Drama Confectionery Café'. What was noteworthy was that behind Chris were the names of several dishes, with some letters written in black and some letters written in red.

"Bonjour, campeurs!" Chris greeted in a poorly done French accent, "Bienvenue au café des confiseries de Total Drama!"

"Chris, I skipped French class," Dallas remarked, "Can't you just speak English?"

"I worked on that accent all night!" Chris insisted, having dropped the accent.

"Does it look like I care?" Dallas asked.

"Just take your seats," Chris requested, "Two to a table."

"It's been about a year since I've been to Paris. This place kinda brings back memories, but knowing Chris, he's probably gonna make us eat some disgusting food."- Daniel

"So Chris, are you gonna tell us the challenge rules in English?" Dallas asked as she sat next to Rhythm, "Or do we have to find a dictionary?"

"I've got this," Veronica assured, "He's welcoming us to the Total Drama Confectionery Café."

"That's right," Chris confirmed, "Good to know that you're smart enough to read the sign."

"Hold on, why is there a loose panel next to the 'Café'?" Daniel asked, pointing to the sign.

"Did the production crew get lazy?" Kavan joked.

"No....it's all part of the challenge," Chris assured as he picked up a remote with a red button on it, "This isn't just a regular café; this is the Total Drama Confectionery Café.....from Hell!"

With that, the lights began flashing as Chris pushed the red button, causing the loose panel to fall and revealing the words 'from Hell' at the end of the sign. The campers shivered in fear as intense, horror-themed music began to play from speakers hidden all over the room. After about fifteen seconds of continuation, the lights and music ceased, leaving the campers shaken and a bit concerned for their safety.

"Was that really necessary?" Zeyad asked, annoyed.

"It's Chris; what did you expect?" Spencer noted, tapping Zeyad on the shoulder.

"Thank you, Spencer, but now we must begin today's challenge," Chris declared, "For today's challenge, you will compete against each other in one-on-one matches. In each match, the competitors will pick a dish from the wall behind me, and they will have an eat-off. Whoever finishes the dish first wins the round and gets to pick the next two campers to compete. Whoever loses each round will be eliminated. The last camper standing wins immunity."

"I've been waiting for an eating competition. Luckily, I've eaten a lot of weird foods before. I've eaten rats, I've eaten frogs legs, and much more. I'm liking my odds."- Kavan

"I'm not looking forward to this challenge. I'm a small girl; any challenge involving eating is bad. But I'm still gonna try my best."- Callie

"I need to win this challenge; I could be going home if I don't win. If Daniel doesn't forgive me, I'm dead. Hopefully I can pull it off."- Dallas

"I'll give you a few minutes to figure out a strategy before we begin," Chris declared before turning to face the main camera, "Who will scarf their way to victory? And who will wish that they didn't eat breakfast beforehand? Find out after the break, right here, on Total...Drama...Double Trouble!"
