Picnic at Hanging Dork (Part 2)

Chris had explained today's challenges, the first one being to grab an emu to ride them like a horse through the blue mountains. "Wait did you say emu?" everyone asks and I look over at the interns bringing in a herd of them.

"Yep! One of the killer birds of Australia-besides the magpies and crows-that are big and flightless and also a descendent to dinosaurs." I say as everyone looks at the big birds. "They're very territorial and will start attacking you if you push them too far. If that happens, just sock em' in the throat or grab their beak. That's what they will use to hurt you." I walk over to one as it peers down at me. I hover my hand over its beak and it lowers as I lower my hand, it sitting down in front of me on the ground so I could get on it's back.

"How did she!?"

"She just!?"

"Emu whisperer!"

Everyone else struggled to get on an emu when the first challenge started, the birds running circles around the cast as I headed on my journey. "Need help love?" I chuckled as the emu he was holding down was plucking on his head.

"I think I got it-"

"-looking good D!" Duncan and I look at Heather ins surprise as she calls out to Duncan, riding past on her emu.

"Did she just...?" I mutter out.

"Acknowledge my existence? Yeah, I think so..." Duncan managed to get on his emu.

"I'll see you on top love." I kiss his cheek before whipping the reins on the emu. "HYAH!"

"I think today's episode made me more Aussie than I usually am." I chuckle as I sit up on the sink, leaning against the plane wall. "I've never even ridden an emu before! It was my first time yet I got on that thing like a boss!"

"I'm actually a Sydney city Aussie. We're the normal people whereas everyone else overseas thinks we're the rural outback bogans and eshays when they hear about Australia."

"You got here much faster than the others." Chris says and I chuck the map that I used at him, it hitting his face.

"Common sense bruh." I jump down, seeing my little girl run out of the giant tent and into my arms.

"Mama!" I pick her up and swing her around happily.

"How's my sweets?" she giggles as I nuzzle my nose with hers, my sweet girl hugging me.

"I played with the big birds! They gave me a piggyback ride!" I smile as my baby tells me everything she did in the last two hours. I set (d/n) back in the tent and she goes back to drawing as I head over to Chris and Chef.

"How long till everyone else starts arriving?"

"Maybe 2 days." Both men start laughing and I sigh in frustration.

I just wanted to go to the city to do some shopping...

And the 2 days did go by when the first cast member finally showed up in front of the tent, getting out from singing (d/n) to sleep to see that Alejandro got here first.

Of course, he did...

I pass him a water bottle and he gulps it down in appreciation, handing bottles over to the others that started trickling up to the top. I suddenly see a mad kangaroo jack and I step back when it pulls Duncan out of its sweaty pouch.

"Ah, sick! You get back here one more round! I didn't hear no bell-" I wince as the kangaroo punches Duncan to the floor, going over to help him up while the others laughed.

"Love you alright-" I frown when I get cut off, Heather helping my husband up instead.

"Ignore them they're just jealous." She says before walking off as Duncan walks over to me.

"You ok?" I wipe his face with some cloth and he nods.

"Ew, daddy needs to shower!" (d/n) peeks her head out from the tent when she wakes up, squeezing her nose closed with her fingers and Duncan smirks.

"Who you calling smelly you little rascal!" he chases out little girl around as she squeals in happiness while she ran away from him. I chuckle as I watched them, Duncan pretending to look for (d/n) like she was hiding in an amazing spot but she was just hidden behind the single tree on the mountain.

"Ok, that's enough. It's hard enough to get (d/n) to take a shower, let alone two." I pull Duncan back before he could grab our baby and get her dirty.

I throw him a towel and he gets dry as Chris explains the next challenge where they have to bungee jump to grab sheep at the bottom, shearing the wool to find the logos tattooed on them. The amazon team finally gets a sheep after 3 tries, shearing it when Owen finally arrives. He bungee jumps but grabs a dingo instead of a sheep and I quickly grab (d/n), holding her tight to my body.

Not today muchacho!" I kick the dingo over the edge of the from Owens's arms, going back to the tent to watch the teams battle against each other. It was amusing to see Alejandro continue to flirt with Courtney knowing the reason behind his actions. The challenge comes to a final end when the guys win, the girl's team having to go through elimination.

"What do you want to get sweets?" I ask as my little girl looked around in awe of the multiple stores that surrounded us. It was a different atmosphere from America than here and I didn't realise how much I missed home, spending all that time over in America. (d/n) was sitting in the child seat of the grocery trolley that I was moving, heading towards grocery stores to get some food first.

"Everything is so much cheaper here!?" Duncan exclaims as he walked next to me, looking at the dairy aisle as I piled on food and non-perishables for the plane.

"Honey no, no junk food." I quickly block my little girl from snatching piles of chips and cookies in the trolley.

"Please!" She pouts at me, doing her famous puppy dog look but I raise a brow at her knowing it doesn't work on me.

"Let's get a couple  of junk foods sweetheart."

Of course it works on Duncan, he breaks immediately for his daughter.

I sigh out, nodding. "Fine, only a couple. Go around and grab whatever you need." I let Duncan roll around the trolley even though I think it's a bad idea so I can stock up for months worth of food for the cast.

I walked around the store, looking for my family to see Duncan carrying our baby on his shoulders so she could reach the higher shelves. I chuckle, amused at the adorable scene as they both are so fascinated at the 'Aussie' foods. I video them as they danced to the music that was playing over the speaker, Duncan holding onto (d/n) on his shoulders as she moved her own to the beat.

"Got everything we need?" I notice and Duncan quickly hide a couple of bags in the trolley and I guess it might be junk food. I let it be and get everything scanned, wheeling all the bags out in two trolleys to the rental car we hired for the next couple of days.

"Mama! I saw a toy store! Can we go, can we go!?" my little girl starts chanting as she ran around me in circles while Duncan and I put the groceries in the trunk.

"I don't see why not. We need to get some clothes too." my baby squeals happily as jumps around and I swoop her into my arms after I lock the car.

"Toys toys!"

"You can only choose one (d/n), you have plenty at home." she pouts at me but nods and I hear Duncan chuckle next to me as we walked back inside the mall to the toy store.

"Ease up a little."

"Duncan, you can never say no to her. We have a whole room filled back home full of toys." I raise a brow at him as he just smiles at me, surprising me with a kiss when he steals (d/n) away before running for the toy store. "Duncan! Don't buy her too many things!" I yell out, running after them.

I spent the whole day shopping with my loves, getting a couple of toys for (d/n) unfortunately but also buying some more clothes for the total drama tour. Duncan was carrying a sleeping (d/n) who was passed out on his shoulder after the long day but I needed to get some clothes for myself. I was picking out a few dresses, pants and shirts when my eyes set on a particular dress. It was a cute mid-thigh length, off-shoulder puff sleeve dress with a ruffled hem.

You know what, I think the cast deserves a night off.

I grin, calling up my sister for a big night in the city with alcohol and clubbing cause why not. "Yo, guess who's back home and in the mood to drink!"
