I sigh out as I laid in bed with my arm draped over my eyes, trying to go to sleep but the heat of the plane was really getting to me. I was sweating furiously even though the aircon in the room was on full blast. I lower my arm, looking over to see Duncan and (d/n) sleeping soundly as she laid on his chest, curled in a tiny ball while he held her protectively.
I turn on my side, laying right ontop of the blankets to watch my precious babies. Duncan snored very quietly, one arm below his head and the other draped over (d/n). She was tucked beneath his chin, her tiny body rising up and down while on Duncan's bare chest. I slowly get out of bed, leaning over to kiss both of my babies foreheads before slipping out of the bedroom.
"Why is it so much hotter out here?" I groan softly, tying up my hair in a loose bun as I walked to the gold class cabin kitchen. The girls-plus-Cody were all passed out dead since the adults were drinking all night last night. I walked over Cody's body that was on the floor, his ass in the air as he slept on his face while the girls were draped over the chairs in uncomfortable positions.
I opened and closed the kitchen cabinets, looking for some food to give (d/n) for tomorrow but it was mainly the same thing as yesterday; cereal, toast, eggs, bacon, some nuggets and fruits and rice plus some other stuff. I sigh knowing that (d/n) was going to be fussy about eating any of these even if I get Owen to trick her into eating with him.
"Goddamn it Chris, do I have to go grocery shopping for you now..." I peer into the last cabinet to see some dry cookie and brownie mix. "Eh, why not." I take out the multiple boxes of the sweets, in the mood to make some desserts after I set up (d/n)'s breakfast. I made sure to be as quiet as possible as I made the cookies and the brownies, making sure to add extra chocolate chips in the mixtures.
"(y/n)?"
"Shit-" I cover my mouth before I screamed, looking over my shoulder to see Alejandro awake. He yawned out while rubbing his eyes, looking at me in confusion while I made sure the others were still asleep. "Don't sneak up on me like that!" I whisper yell, trying to avoid looking at the guys chiselled bare chest that he was parading around while wearing goddamn sweats.
Defenition of chocolate abs here! Goddamn!
"Why are you awake?" He whispers, sitting down on one of the stools in front of the counter.
"Couldn't sleep." I was feeling slightly embarrassed as I wore short shorts hidden beneath Duncan's shirt that hung loosely over my shoulders. "It's too hot to even try to sleep and I'm guessing it's the same problem with you?"
Alejandro hums in agreement. "So what are you doing?" He sniffs the air, a smile bracing his lips. "Seems like someone is baking sweets. I knew you were a sweet tooth." I raise a brow at Alejandro as I leaned back against the counter next to the kettle while I made some tea for myself.
"And you know this how?" He nods next to me.
"You put honey in your green tea that you drink and you're very picky about your fruits also needing to taste sweet."
"That's oddly very observant of you..." I look down and low and behold, there was the honey I took out.
"I just notice things." I hum in reply, turning the kettle off before it went off and pouring the hot water into my cup. I turn my head left and right to crack my neck as I stirred my tea, my shoulders and neck feeling slightly sore lately. "I could also crook out that ache in your neck for you." I freeze when I feel a body behind me, looking over my shoulder slowly to see Alejandro smirking down at me. He placed his hands on the counter on either side of my body as I held my cup in my hands, ready to throw the tea in his face.
"Uh, thanks for the offer but I'm fine-" my breath hitches when I feel his hands gently run over my arms and over my bare shoulders, fingers brushing against my skin and I grip my cup tighter.
"Just say the word and I'll do it beautiful." I couldn't help my heart thumping loudly in my chest, out of anxiousness, fear or something else as Alejandro presses his fingers against my shoulders and neck. I instantly feel relief, the soreness going away but the feeling disappears when the oven rings. I quickly run over to turn it off, looking up to see The Amazons still asleep and Alejandro also gone.
I rubbed my shoulders, shuddering as I frowned about what just happened. "Why is he doing all this...?"

I was sitting around in the common room, letting everyone eat the cookies and the brownies I made in the middle of night. Everyone was complimenting me on the sweets, but my mind was going haywire about Alejandro and I's interaction. I look up to see him smile at me as he took a cookie.
"These desserts are absolutely amazing (y/n), thank you." I nod slowly, my foot bouncing up and down as I just waited for Duncan while fiddling with my ring. The anxiousness quickly melts away when I feel familiar arms wrap around my waist and I beam up at Duncan as he hugged me from behind.
"You're awake." I breathe out in relief as he lays his chin on top of my head, kissing my cheek while snagging some cookies.
"Yeah, cause I had a human heater blanket on me. I was too comfortable to move away from (d/n), almost didn't want to wake up but you weren't in bed." Duncan whispers against my shoulder.
"Awe, you got up just for me?" I mock. "You sure it wasn't because you could smell the cookies and the brownies?" Duncan leans his hip against the table as he moved to stand in front of me, smiling at me while I looked up at him with my head in my hands.
"Maybe. Can't help it that your sweets are the best. Had to grab some before the two black holes took everything." I knew he was talking about Owen and our little girl, both of them having a major thing for sugary treats.
"Don't worry, finish whatever is on the table. I have some left over for (d/n)." I look over and I see Aljenadro talking to Courtney in almost a dramatic way. "What's up with that?" I nod over and Duncan turns around before smirking as Alejandro walks away, Courtney swooning and Heather looking hella pissed.
"Flirting with Courtney to throw her and Heather off their game cause Heather actually has a thing for him. Plus if he fails, we have a reason to vote him off." Duncan whispers to me quickly and I grin.
"You are a freaking genius, you know that right." I pull down on his collar to give him a kiss. Duncan sighs in bliss against my lips, moving to pull me closer but we get interrupted by Chris.
"Today's landing is gonna be more of a non-landing flyby!" Chris suddenly opens the plane door and I look at him in shock. "Jump drop and roll!"
"You want us to do what!?" I shriek out, the cast already jumping out. "I can't leave (d/n)-"
"Chef will look after her!" I purse my lips, worried for my child but I knew she would still be asleep.
"She'll be fine sweetheart." Duncan reassures me and I sigh, nodding as I grab my hat and my bag. I made sure that I was covered head to toe in sunscreen before jumping out of the plane, accidentally landing on Owen who cushioned my fall.
"My kiwis!"
"I'm so sorry Owen!" I quickly climb off him as he sits up. I look around and I couldn't help the smile grow on my face when I realised where we were while everyone groaned from the heat that I grew used to since I was a child.
"G'day mate and welcome to Australia!" Chris says as he walks up to the group.
"You mean home sweet home. God, it's been so long since I've come back here..." I sigh out, feeling the heat of the outback.
"Home sweet home!?" The whole cast exclaims as I stand next to Chris, him draping an arm around my shoulders.
"Did you guys not know I was Aussie?" everyone looked at me like I was nuts.
"No! Since when!? You never mentioned it at all!" Everyone yelled out different responses.
"Ok ok, calm down. I was born and raised here in Australia before I ran away overseas when I was 15. I was in the heat with the police while in Canada and one situation led to the next where Chris' older sister adopted me as her only daughter since she couldn't have any kids herself." everyone just gaped at me.
"Wait wait wait, only daughter? Chris calls you his only favourite niece but didn't you say that you have a younger sister?" Gwen says and I nod.
"I am HIS only niece. My sister is my biological sister that I kept in contact with. I cut ties with my bio mum and dad."
"You didn't invite them to your wedding?" Sierra frowns at the thought.
"No, I did. Mum and sister came but not dad. Not like I cared anyway."
"Who the fuck have I been married to this entire time!?" Duncan gasps out and I chuckle at his confused face. "Is your name even (y/f/n)!?"
"Nah." Duncan blinks at me in shock. "I'm (y/n) Tarun." my husband flushes when I mention his last name instead of mine.
"She got you there man." Owen chuckles and I wink at Duncan, our rings glinting against the heat of the sun.
"You know what, it explains a lot of things. Especially you adapted to the heat." Courtney mentions.
"So you're one of those 'lets put some shrimp on the barbie' people." Heather mocks and I pick up a stick, throwing it at her head.
"For the last time, we don't say shrimp! We call them prawns! And it's not a barbie, it's a barbeque, not the damn doll!"
"Aussie aussie-"
"-no! You do not have the right to say that!" I cut Owen off and he sulks.
