(Y/N)'s POV

Toshiro and I were training in the forest. Alone. No one was here to break the silence that I was enjoying.

Wiping away beads of sweat from my forehead, I glanced at my captain. Or should I say, my lover.

He hasn't stopped since we began the training. Just watching him practice made me smile. I picked up my weapons, a Katana and gripped the handle and got ready for the next slash. (At the air)

A whoosh sounded beside me. After turning my head, I blinked, confused, Toshiro was gone. Where did he go?

"Hey." A voice sounded behind me. Surprised, I nearly dropped my katana. Now it was only hanging between my index and middle finger with my thumb slightly brushing the handle.

A warm hand landed on my shoulder.   "T-Toshiro!! You scared me!!" I squealed, though it was supposed to come out as a scream. Not that I wanted it to though.

My Shiro-chan chuckled, "That was cute. By the way, that's not how to hold a katana." I could just feel his super annoying smirk forming. (A/N: WHOA!! HOW'D YOU FEEL THAT READER-CHAN?!)

I blushed. "S-Shut u-up, Shiro-chan!! It's just that I nearly dropped it c-cause of y-you!!" I managed to stutter.

His cheeks flushed red at the name 'Shiro-chan', but he continued smirking. "Here…" Toshiro started slyly. The whited haired captain put his hands on top on mine and showed me how to hold the katana correctly.

I blushed. What was he doing??? Oh my god, I think I'm going to faint…

Toshiro smirked. "What's wrong~? Are ya scared of me?" He taunted.

I wanted to say something, I opened my mouth. "Ah…" I didn't know what to say. All that I could do was blush. Nothing else.

A rustle sounded in the bushes around Toshiro and I. He froze, and held me closer while turning to face the bush. The bush rustled. And a strange noise sounded from it. I held my breath.

A chipmunk with red eyes hopped out. Holding a half eaten nut. I breathed out in relief. A chipmunk with red eyes…strange……oh well. Maybe it's a species that I've never seen before.

Turning around, Toshiro had a bored and slightly embarrassed expression on his face. I smiled. "Aww… was captain worried for me??"

He looked to the side. "N-No… I-I just thought that it would be s...something fiercer. I'd have to fight it, b-but you would've gotten in the way." He stuttered.

I pouted and put my hands on my hips. "So you wouldn't care if I got hurt??"

He rested his hand on my head. "If something hurt you, then I would kill the thing that did. With no hesitation."

Hearing those warmed me right up. I leaned forward and wrapped my arms around him. Burying my face in his haori, I smiled.

Told ya it would be short!! :p Sorry if that was disappointing… but hey, at least I updated. That make people happy, right? Right?? No?? Well, whatever. Anyways, see y'all later~
