All You Need Is Water

REMEMEBER To USE YOUR PITCHFORKS AT THE BAD GUYS AND NOT ME
Hours passed since Monroe had her fun with the electrifying us. During this time, Ethan, Jackson and I got to know each other. Very well. The couple loved to show off their love for one another.
"You know, if we weren't in this situation, this would have been a great talk." I admitted, sending a smile towards the boys. "You guys aren't that bad. Especially you, Jackson."
"You're not that bad either Nevah." Jackson chuckled out.
"Does Scott even know we're stuck here with Gerard?" Ethan wondered.
"I honestly don't know." I sighed. "Gerard told me he would tell Scott...but I don't trust Gerard. He could have used that to fill me with hope or something. But Gerard could also use it to mess with Scott."
"Well Gerard has always been an ass." Jackson said, glaring at the closed door.
"So I've heard." I muttered. A loud creaking sound came as the door opened. The three of us glanced at one another noting that no one had entered the room. Gerard came storming in with Monroe, both wearing proud smiles. "This can't be good."
"Get them down and separate them. Torture them, but keep them alive. I want full interrogation. Ask about Scott McCall and his pack, demigods," Monroe looked at me. I sent her a hard glare. "Anything that involves the supernatural. And to whomever gets Nevah...find out what type of demigod she is. Her godly parent, the mythology, if she has any weak spots. I want them all."
"You know we won't talk." I gritted out.
"Oh, I know. But maybe your new roommate will." Monroe smirked. She turned towards the hunters near the door. "Bring him in."
There were sounds of struggling and something I was all too familiar with. My heart sank and my blood turned to ice. Two hunters follow by a third holding a gun carried in Grover. Grover looked up, his eyes meeting mine.
"Grover?" I breathed in. He wasn't wearing his pants or fake shoes, fully revealing that he was a satyr.
"Nevah?" Grover whimpered out, his eyes filling with mixed emotions. I turned to glare at Monroe and Gerard.
"What the hell is your problem!?" I yanked on my restraints.
"I figured you knew this...thing." Gerard neared Grover, nudging him with his boot. Grover bleated out a curse at him. "His kind has to deal with whatever mythology you're from."
"Leave him out of this, okay? He hasn't done anything-"
"We know." Monroe smiled, tilting her head at me. "He's some sort of hippy. Tried talking us out of the war too."
"Then let him go." I pleaded. "He's innocent."
"Nev-" Grover started. I shook my head at him, cutting him off.
"You know," Monroe started, walking towards me with her hands on her hips. "We found him looking for you actually. So, technically, you are the one who brought him here."
"Grover..." I sighed, squeezing my eyes shut.
"They're looking for you Nevah, and if it brings in more demigods and supernaturals then we're about to have a party." Monroe stated. "So...what exactly are you that makes you so important to look for? Scott McCall and his pack had hoped that you were in the armory or in the tunnels the Dread Doctors once held you at."
"You should have seen their faces when they heard we had you." Gerard added, taking in my reaction. I continued to glare at them with hatred, my temper rising.
"War doesn't need to be the answer for this and you know it." I spat out, looking at Gerard. "You're the puppet master and the one who wants the bloodshed. If you think the supernaturals are the bad guys, then think again, because you guys are the ones going after the innocent ones now."
"Take them down and start interrogating them." Monroe narrowed her eyes at me. "I'll take care of the furry one-"
"Technically, I'm furry too, so...which one?" Ethan raised an eyebrow with a smirk.
"Does it matter?" Monroe snapped at him.
"No, not really, but I would like to know who will be torturing me." Ethan shrugged.
"I would like to know too." Jackson nodded.
"Get them out of here. And make sure to keep them separated until I say otherwise." Monroe turned towards her men. The hunters immediately went toward us. I frantically looked past the swarm of hunters heading my way as I looked at Grover. "Shoot them up with wolfsbane."
"You'll be okay. Stay strong." I mouthed, tears sting in my eyes.
"You too." Grover nodded.
Two hunters undid my restraints as Gerard walked up towards me. He twirled a syringe in his hands, looking at it. I glowered, immediately going into action. I threw my elbows out, hitting the hunters in the face. I went to go at Gerard, feinting a punch.
Gerard ducked. Anticipating that move, I twirled around him and elbowed him in between his shoulder blades. The other hunters ran at me. I started throwing punches, ducking when needed. Most of the hunters got punched in the nose before I kicked them in the temple to render them unconscious.
Just as I was about to go back towards Gerard, Monroe pointed a gun at Grover's head making me stop in my tracks.
"Take another step or your friend is dead." Monroe dug the end of the gun against Grover's temple. Clenching my fists, I glared at her. She nodded towards me as her unconscious hunters came with more restraints. "Gerard."
Before I can utter a protest, Gerard quickly injected the liquid inside of the syringe into my neck. My eyesight instantly became fuzzy and made me lightheaded. As my eyes became to close, I fell backwards into Gerard.
"I made a special dose for you. Hoped it would knock you out." Gerard beamed down at me before my world went black.

I awoke to being tied to a metal table that held bolted in handcuffs. Gerard sat in a chair in front of me, playing with a knife. There was a tray laid next to him on a table that held different types of torture devices along with a blood stained rag.
"Are you ready to spill out your secrets or shall I spill your blood?" Gerard questioned, standing up. I stayed silent and watch his every move with caution. Gerard went to the tray and cracked his wiggled his fingers over the devices. "I'll take that as a yes to the blood. What shall I use first?"
"How about you stop all of this before you regret everything." I said, tugging at the cuffs in hope that they were lose.
"Oh, how about this lovely dagger?" Gerard held a gleaming imperial gold dagger in front of him. My eyes widen at it. How in the world did he get his hands on that? "Beautiful isn't it? I found this on a trip to San Francisco a few years back. This man had found and it was smart enough to sell it in the Black Market. Luckily, I was the first to know and got it. "
"How lucky of you." I grumbled, eyeing the weapon. Gerard smirked as he walked closer to me, twirling the dagger in his hand.
"Yes, very. Now, I've done my research over this dagger. Can you believe that the Romans used a gold called Imperial Gold to make weapons?" Gerard jammed the dagger into my forearm. I bit back a scream, not wanting to give him the pleasure of my pain. "I've heard rumors that there are Roman demigods. And by the looks of it, you recognized this beauty."
"I see lots of weapons." I gritted out. Gerard nodded and slowly dragged the dagger down my form arm just above my wrist.
"Then, I remember that you've been seen fight with Greek styled sword. Now, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it Celestial Bronze?" Gerard asked, yanking the dagger out. I gasped at the sensation. "Still don't want to tell me anything?"
"You know I won't." I snapped.
"Well, I guess it's time to move onto the next method." Gerard placed the dagger back on the tray. He quickly spun around and punched my face repeatedly. Blood spilled out of my nose and filled my mouth. When he stopped, I spat a mouthful of the blood in his face. Chuckling, he fished out a handkerchief out of his jean pocket and rubbed the substance off his face. "You're quite the character, Nevah Vis. You know you have a record on ya."
"Of course I know." I rolled my eyes.
Shaking his head, Gerard threw the handkerchief on the table and reached for the bloodstained rag. I eyed him, having to blink to get the blood out of my eye. He placed the rag over my face. A few second later I felt a burning flash of pain on my left thigh, a scream slipping out of my mouth. Tears sprung in my eyes, washing the blood away.
Soon after, something pressed against my wound on my forearm bringing a stinging kiss to it. I clenched my eyes shut as I bit my lip to prevent another scream. Minutes passed and I knew my body was covered in gashes and burn marks. The room was quiet besides my screams and the sound of my blood dripping onto something metallic.
"Nothing yet, Nevah?" Gerard asked.
"Not a thing." I groaned out.
"Looks like we're going to a new method then." Gerard sighed. His shoes tapped against the floor as he walked away. I couldn't hear anything for a while until I heard the sound of his shoes again. My gut tugged as I sensed water.
Water was poured on my face, the rag pressing against my skin. I sighed as the rush and the feeling of me healing overtook my mind.
"What the hell?" Gerard mumbled. The rag was yanked off of my face. He was glowering at me, his eyes raking my body as he saw my wounds healing. "Water...?"
Using that as a distraction, I willed the water to rush towards him. Gerard collided with the metal table, flipping over it with the weapons spilling. I halved the water, one holding Gerard down while the rest came to slid under the metal cuffs. I made the water push the metal cuffs away from my wrists and ankles.
I jumped off of the table and ran past Gerard towards the exit. Exiting the torture room, I rapidly looked down the hallways hoping to find Grover and the werewolf couple. Alarms started to blare as I saw Gerard talking into a talkie. My eyes widened as his beady eyes stared into mine. I quickly dashed down one of the hallways. The loud sound of feet stomping on the ground followed behind me followed by yelling.
"Someone shoot her!"
I pumped my legs faster, sliding as I made another turn down a hallway. Curses flew from my lips as I walked into a dead end. I quickly spun around and ran towards another hallway when something whizzed by my head. I looked back to see the hunters chasing after me and shooting tranquilizers.
"I better not end up in the Underworld." I hissed as a hunter exited out of a room carrying a bloody knife. I punched the guy in the face before roundhouse kicking him in the temple. The hunter fell unconscious as I ran into the room. Jackson looked up at me with a quirked brow.
"Well...get me out of here." Jackson nodded towards his hands. I sent him a smile and immediately started undoing his bonds. "How did you even escape Gerard?"
"Water." I smirked, unclasping one of the metal cuffs.
"Water? That's it?" Jackson used his free hand to tug at the other cuff. It broke off, clattering to the ground.
"Never underestimate water. Now come on, we've got to get Ethan and Grover." I waved him over as I started to run out the room. We stopped in our tracks as a swarm of hunters led by Monroe blocked out exist. Jackson growled, flashing his blue eyes.
"Now, we've completely underestimated you Nevah Vis." Monroe stated.
"It's okay, everyone does." I shrugged, eyeing the hunters who had their guns pointed at us.
"It won't happen again." Monroe nodded. The hunters fired shots, multiple tranquilizers hitting Jackson and I. The dugs immediately kicked in a lot faster than the previous ones. I stumbled into Jackson who tried his best to keep us both up. "Make sure you lock her away where there is no water within a mile."
"That would mean taking her to the other facility." One of the hunters spoke up. Monroe spun around to face him. "We'll do round to mess with them too."
"Then do it. Take each of them and scatter them across all of our facilities." Monroe ordered. She walked towards Jackson and I as we collapsed onto the ground. I struggled to keep my eyes open. Monroe kneeled in front of me. "Just close your eyes, Nevah."
So.....uh...hi?
Much love (I promise you I love you and I love my baby Nevah),
Lux
