(Yoongi)
Min Yoongi's day was going to be amazing.
His face was set into a smile in constant anticipation of the date he had with Hoseok later that day.
In what felt like years, he had something to look forward to. He smiled at every collegue who passed him and their reactions ranged from pleasantly surprised to downright shocked.
Yoongi liked it.
He had finished the deadline successfully, found sleep and clarity in his life for a long time. His heart felt like it was going to burst.
Nothing could make him down today, when Hoseok was waiting for him.
Not today.
Maybe he could ask for half day leave?
Considering the thought, Yoongi smiled as he reached his studio, typing in the password, he entered genius lab. Just as he was about to grab his jacket and leave when a crack of the speaker installed in his studio was heard.
Yoongi froze.
The speaker was as similar as installed in every staff's room, studio or cubicle. It announced the general announcements made in general to the entire company as a whole. It was rare for them to use it. Yoongi was curious as to what the wanted to announce.
"Attention ladies and gentlemen." The distorted voice spoke.
"We are sorry to inform you that one of our fellow entertainment company's Idol has passed away."
Yoongi's heart clenched. These days it was almost common for trainees to commit suicide or fall into unmanageable depression due to the stress and extreme training they had to go through to become an idol. It was one of the the many reasons he hadnt become an idol or didnt have that many friends.
He was afraid that if he started caring, he would loose them.
"Everybody is asked to to stand in silence for a minute, to offer our condolences to our beloved Byun Baek-hyun, who passed away today by committing suicide."
Yoongi's mind went blank.
Baek-hyun? Byun Baek-hyun?
No it wasn't his hyung. It couldn't be.
He held out for so long against depression, he couldn't be gone today. Right?
Hyung would have told me.
But deep inside his heart, Yoongi knew that he could be wrong. It had been almost four months since they had talked, with their busy schedules and Yoongi's insomnia and everything. Baek-hyunwould've been suffering and he wouldn't have known.
Fingers trembling, he scrambled for his phone and dialed his hyung's number.
Baek-hyun was one of the people that mattered to him most. He was the only one who had seen through Yoongi, and not balked and offered help. He had understood what it was like and had at least tried to help Yoongi.
The phone was shaking in his grip as he put it against his ears, the dial tone kept ringing, making Yoongi's heart stutter with every dial tone.
Finally He answered the phone and Yoongi breathed a sigh of relief, but the voice that answered wasnt his Hyung's. It never would be.
"I'm sorry Yoongi-ah."
Yoongi's breath was weight in his chest.
No, no no no.
"I failed him Yoongi-ah. I couldn't save him."
"No-no"
"Please tell me you're pulling a prank noona."
"Yoongi-sshi" she heartwrenching sobbed.
The phone fell to the floor as Yoongi lost all energy and control of his limbs and he fell to the floor.
"Yoongi-ah" He heard his noona call him, he wanted to console her and hold her but how could he when he himself couldn't console himself?
He couldn't belive that his hyung was just, gone.
He was never going to see him again.
Never going to here play that infernal kazoo of his.
Never going to cheer him up again.
Never.
He was so Far gone in his thoughts, curled up and shaking on the floor that he didn't notice Jungkook coming into his room until the younger had wrapped his hands around the older in a comforting embrace.
Jungkook's embrace was meant to comfort but instead it suffocated Yoongi. It reminded him of all the timeBaek-hyun embraced him in the same way. It reminded yoongi of the hyung-donsaeng he had with Jungkook quite similar to his and Baek-hyun's relationship.
So overcome by his emotions, that he couldn't think rationally, Yoongi pushed Jungkook off him and ran hard out of his studio as much as his trembling legs would allow.
He gasped as the fresh cold air hit him in the face as he stepped outside.
Air that Baek-hyun would never breathe again.
His mind was slowly falling into a void of silence. His body was shaking badly, without thinking he called the person he wanted to see right then.
The only person who could possibly help him right now.
Hoseok.

Guys, please understand that I'm not using Baek-hyun Because I hate him or anything. I love him too, its just a character.
