"Here. Now get out" I shoved the USB in his hand. If someone saw us right now, they'd think we were enemies when in reality it was the exact opposite.
"You heard the woman" Max said.
"Ooh, 'the woman'. Hear that, Hols?" Zac watched me, waiting for my reaction.
"His woman" I smiled, not giving him the reaction he wanted. He raised his eyebrows but the grin didn't disappear. Instead he nodded his head, "If you say so, sweetheart"
He turned on his heel and left the apartment. My tense body relaxed. When two of them were in the same room together, it made me stress so much.
If he came to our wedding it would be hel-
I paused.
Did I just say wedding?
I let out a groan. I was head over heels for Max that I was actually imagining a future for us. God, how sad was that? It made me cringe even thinking about it.
"You okay?" Max touched my arm. I turned to him, "Huh?"
"You let out a groan" He chuckled at my slow reaction, "If you're getting sick of him, you should let him know. He's extremely disrespectful"
"Maxy, you know he's been my best friend forever, I'm not getting sick of him. Sure he can frustrate me at times but hey, you do the same"
"Don't compare me to him please"
"Aww I'm sorry baby" I made kissy childish sounds and he rolled his eyes with a grin.
"You're insane"
"Then we go well together" I kissed him on the cheek and he grinned. I pulled back to look at him, "How are you after last night?"
"The hangover went away quick enough thanks to you"
I rolled my eyes but hid the smile. He always made sure that I was aware he appreciated me which made me happy.
"So... I have news" He said slowly.
"News?" I asked.
"My family are going to be coming over soon"
My face dropped and He grimaced at my reaction.
I let out a loud groan and fell into his chest, "I'm going to die" I whined. His arm wrapped around me and he kissed the top of my hair, "We'll survive"
His family was his mother and father.
Those two people whom hated me.
They pretended they didn't but they did.
They weren't fans of how I grew up. Being raised by two mothers. They were against the same sex marriage. I wanted to argue with them so bad and tell them to be more open minded but they were my boyfriend's parents.
They also looked down on me because they saw me as poor. I mean if you're working two jobs, is that what people really think of you?
I see myself as a hard working independent individual but maybe that's just me.
I guess they didn't see me as the perfect match for their son.
"Hey" He snapped his fingers, getting my attention, "Look at me. They can't choose who I love"
"I know" I told him, confidently.
He smiled, "Thought you were getting worried for a second"
"Me? Worried? Don't make me laugh, gorgeous" I paused, "But when are they coming? I better start tidying the house"
"Hey" He stopped me when I was about to stand, "Don't worry. I'm going to take them out and show them around the town"
I frowned, "You don't need to do that, I don't want to just avoid your parents. That'll make them despise me even more"
He shook his head, "No, they won't. They want to see around the place I live anyway and they aren't staying for long. I promise you honey, you don't need to worry about a thing"
"Ooh you called me, honey. Sounds fancy" I winked.
"Are you hinting at something?"
"Hm?" I raised my eyebrows.
"For a proposal" He tugged me towards him and I burst out laughing. My face lit up a bright pink, "Ew, married to you? No thank you, Sir"
"Aww, are we going to roleplay?" He grinned, "The girl who doesn't want the guy but obviously he gets her"
"You're horny at this time?" My brow furrowed as I pushed myself up.
His face dropped, "You have a habit of ruining the mood"
"Hey the only reason there was no sex last night was because you were drunk!" I tapped my finger against his nose, "I'm not the person to blame here mister"
He pouted and grabbed my hips, "Please baby, I want your body so bad right now"
I grinned down at him.
"Aww look at the little baby"
"Don't get me excited" He winked.
Max, had... a special kink.
He... I didn't know how to explain it.
He.. liked to be... dominated?
I guess.
I don't know if that's how you put it. He was kind of a submissive person is what he explained it as.
I, myself, never really had a kink or anything. I was just plain normal sex. I mean I had never tried anything like that until I met Max and well the only thing I tried with him was this whole submissive kink and we once tried whips but....
Me hitting someone with a whip worried me. Like was I going over board? Was I killing him?
It was so stressful that it ruined the whole mood for me.
Before anyone gets the idea we were a huge kink couple, we aren't. He's just... like that and me, being his girlfriend, obviously wants to fill his needs.
"You're zoning out" He commented.
"Sorry, just work got me tired" I placed a kiss on his lips, my fingers curling through his hair.
I was straddling him now and the only sound was our kisses and heavy breathing. His hands wrapped around me slowly, his hands gripping my body.
Our door clicked open and my head snapped up to see Zac standing there.
"ZAC" I shouted at him. I untangled my fingers from Max's hair and got off him. His hands dropped from my body, "You can't just walk into our apartment like that!"
"It was unlocked"
"That gives you permission?!"
"Kind of"
"No. Not kind of. You, are insane" I was about to lose my mind. He blinked, looking so innocent that it was almost believable he did nothing wrong.
"I'm going to knock him out Hollie" Max's voice was low behind me. For Max's structure, if he threatened you... most people would be terrified.
Not Zac though. He just glanced toward his direction, "I'm not in the mood to step on a cockroach and get my new shoes destroyed. Maybe next time" He looked back to me.
I shook my head, in anger before pushing him out the door. I looked back to Max, "I'll be right back" Max was warned with the fury in my eyes not to go near us because I, myself, was about to kill Zac.
I shut the door behind us, "What is your issue?! "
"I have no issue"
"NO ISSUES? YOU BARGE INTO MY APARTMENT WITHOUT KNOCKING, YOU PURPOSELY WIND MAX UP! You love stressing me out, and it's driving me insane. Can't you just get on with Max, he's done nothing to you"
Zac tilted his head, studying me, "It upsets you that much?"
"Yes" I frowned, "It really does"
"No" He shook his head, "I'm sorry but I cannot get on with that pest in there"
"I hate you" I was about to rip my hair out, "Then you aren't allowed to come back here, ever again. Do you understand?"
"Really?"
"Yes. Really. I'll call the cops next time. I don't care if you get in trouble or not this is harassment"
"I'm your best friend though"
"Stop acting like a child right now" A grin formed on his face when I said that, "Please, Max is going to be in a bad mood for the rest of the night if you don't leave"
The grin disappeared and he shoved his hands in his pockets, "Fine"
"Really?" I asked hopefully.
"Yeah" He nodded his head, "I don't want you to get in trouble with your boyfriend"
I rolled my eyes at his words, "Shoo, get out" I pushed him away. He seemed to want to say something but finally turned and left.
I had forgot to ask him what he wanted...
I pushed the door open only to hear a bang and a loud whine from Max.
He was on the floor, holding his forehead.
"Oh my god, are you okay?" I shut the door behind me and knelt next to him. I assumed he had been listening or looking through the peephole to see what was going on and wasn't expecting me to open the door.
I pulled his hand away and luckily there wasn't any type of bruising, "Yeah, I'm fine" He chuckled.
"You're laughing?"
"I guess so" he pushed himself up.
"I was worried for a moment"
"Only for a moment?" he pouted.
"Shut it" I flicked his forehead and he winced. Under the wince though I saw something else, excitement. This was what I was talking about, he liked.. pain? I guess... or not pain just when I was in control.
Honestly I didn't get it and I would never understand it. I didn't want too, I just wanted to fill his needs. I loved him and I wanted to do anything for him, him smiling always made my day.
I grabbed his shirt and tugged him toward the room, "Come on, let's play"
He followed along like an excited puppy, about to receive a bone.
Except it was opposite.
I was the one about to get the bone.
