1. Hi K,

I've just realized that I always had the chance to know you better and now months have passed and I ignored that chance and you're not here anymore for me to know you better. Yes, I know we don't click. I have misunderstandings with you but I'm glad when we talk it's the same as usual without any wall at all. Of course I wouldn't forget how generous you are. For me, you are. I hope you'll do great in a new environment, new culture. Because I think you have not shown your best at school and I understand that every person has his or her own struggles. Now you have given the chance to become better. Do what you want that makes you happy because you deserve to be happy.

2. Heyyy K,

I like how you know how others would feel. It's like you're always considerate of the people around you. You know I was touched by how you knew how I felt the whole time, every damn day without me telling you but just by observing. I like those people y'know. Thank you for the gift of friendship. I've written you a letter at school right? (activity) and I guess I would always say we became close this year and how we don't really need to hangout more often to be considered as "friends." You're very approachable. In my opinion, you're not "competitive" in a positive way. Instead of like competing to the top you don't hesitate to help others you're willing for all of us to achieve at the same time. That's my opinion. Yes, one more thing, I just wanna say, don't let your heart be shattered because you're special. Of course, thank you for the laughter and all smiles.

You know I noticed how you changed this year. You're different from how I see you and I believe you will know the personality of that person when you talk to him or her. I know you're shy at school but I was surprised you talk a lot when you're with friends and that I know you are more comfortable with them. I'm happy because you're not really that hard to talk to, actually you're not shy when talking to me at all. I can't really judge you with the things you do but I hope you make your parents proud because they are doing their part to make you better because they believe you can and I do too.

4. Hi L,

There's one thing I really like about you. I don't know about them but I notice you always see the good things in every person or in any object. It's like you know how to appreciate things by saying positive things about it. You are really not that "insecure" in my opinion. There was a time I will talk to you about a person and you mostly agree to everything I say without negativity talking about that person. I notice how you're shy to talk to me sometimes and that's completely okay. I guess there will always be that awkward moment. And yes, I like how you support your friends and when you know if they're being influenced by some people. You are not the girl with so much pride. You ask for help, for other's opinion every time you need help. You don't brag about the things you know and instead you learn for the new things. 5. Hey C,

Yes, sometimes it may be awkward for the both of us. I would always say to myself that I won't judge you because I don't really know you. I like how you socialize well with other people and I know you want to avoid having arguments or misunderstanding with other people and you try to have no conflicts at all. Of course, thank you for greeting me despite there still being a wall in between. It may seem I've been giving you a "cold treatment" but trust me, I just ain't sweet y'know. Please continue to shine like you always do.

I never knew we'd be friends because you're quiet, but no you're actually loud when you're joking around with your friends and that's because you're comfortable with them. Truth is, I feel grateful every time you approach me when you need help because I'm always open to help anyone. I messaged you last time right? After the Christmas party when you thanked me too? It was overwhelming. Everything I said that time is sincere. I have observed you are being bullied all the time without speaking up and I'm sorry for not even speaking up for you. Yes, not all the people around you will understand you. Maybe that's because they don't want who you are but that doesn't really matter okay? You are who you are made to be. You're not alone. We're all here to help you in every possible way.

I see you and you're like the "typical" girl. I like how you're really kinda girly. (Sorry, it's so hard to explain what I wanted to say) You're not like some of us girls who really have a loud laugh or the loudest voice. I made out that girly vibe but it fits you. I like that you're simple. You move like every girl should do. Not arrogant nor a show-off. I know you keep improving and put effort with the things you do, please keep going. The group of friends you have now are always there to support you. I'm sorry if I have ever been mean to you. I become so mean every time I'm stressed out or irritated and I always try my best to avoid it. Thank you for the cooperation in every group project.

It's funny how I honestly forgot what happened in grade 8 back then and I only remembered when your friends kept teasing. I'm glad when we started talking because I noticed you were ignoring me. (I guess?) And I understand you of course we haven't started well. This year maybe had a reason that for the first time in high school you're one of my batch that is now my classmate for the first time. As days passed, I got to know you better and you're nice to talk to because you're joyful. Thank you for the gift of friendship and the things you've given me. Really appreciated. Thank you. You know I was sad remembering how it was back then in elementary but I understand things have changed and we're all just growing up. Thank you for the gift of friendship because yes until now, I wouldn't forget our "elementary attitude" of "best friends forever" kind of thing hahaha. It may sound weird of how I am on this but I'm different in person than to who I am when I'm writing. I'm sorry if I ever have done something to you because believe me, I'm not aware of it. (elementary days lol) As I have observed, it really amazes me that you're sometimes stubborn in class but when it comes to your friends, you're very sincere and that's the greatest impact especially you're guys. You didn't know but up until now I'm thankful for you because you're one of the reasons why I'm stronger now. Remember we had a lot of fights back in elementary and that's when I think I started to stand up for myself. Sounds OA but thank you. Of course, you always make our day brighter than ever when you make silly jokes and pranks that make everyone laugh. You know what you're doing? You're saving people. You're saving them through happiness. It's the best feeling to laugh even for a moment especially when things become so dull. I know every joker and behind those jokes, have something to get from. I don't know what you're going through every day but I hope you'll get through it. Because people like you who give so much happiness to the people around you, are the people who really deserve to be happy.

Wake up! Just kidding. Y'know every time you sleep in class I just couldn't imagine me doing that especially during class I mean, how could you do that? Okay hands down you're a legend hahahaha. Thank you for the corny jokes (okay the "no choice" joke was beyond that) You're the kind of person who can say yes when you're asked to do something well not always but yeah; and will share the things you know you have when in need of materials in our group and that I'm very much glad when you yourself volunteer. Just continue to do things that make you happy and please always try to improve to better yourself.

You know what I still remember back in elementary we weren't close because you've always thought that I'm mean and yes that's true and then we became close in high school. Thank you for the gift of friendship. Thank you for everything; that means for helping me whenever I needed help, for the laughter, for all the smiles and of course for being there at times I was so down. I can't forget you're one of the persons that really comforted me when my sister passed away. Thank you. Yes, I noticed things have changed this year and I'm sorry. I'm sorry if I sometimes ignore you. That's because I don't want to have any misunderstandings and I hope you understand that. And I'm sorry if this year we had a lot of misunderstandings. You're one I have considered then as my "boy best friends" and y'll know I don't really consider one but yes you were. I like how you make people around you happy. Of course, thank you for understanding my damn attitude. I'm now quite shy about writing this letter but hey, I never had the chance to thank you. Please know that I'm different from what you see and I really am. We may have had bad and good experiences in the past but that's normal and quite funny too. I like how you're fun to be with and sometimes I notice you're awkward with me and I understand that my first impression wasn't that great. Of course thank you for sharing what you have (especially for the powder? hahaha) you know when to lay low I mean I like you because you're not a show-off unlike others. I recognize that you're humble yes you are in my opinion. We've gotten a lot closer when we talk and tease and laugh about random things and with the witty attitude and humor that you have, I know you can get along with anyone. I'm sorry if I ever offended you without me being aware of it but know that if I'm ever pissed about someone it doesn't stay that long. Stay what or who you are because everyone loves you the way you are.

15. Heeey J,

There's this one thing I can change from what I see in you that could make it a positive thing to have. It's that you're really talkative but in a positive way that yes, you have a lot to talk to, you have a lot of ideas, stories to tell and I think those qualities that you have you can use to grow to learn like hey, you can write fictional stories y'know or take law because you're kinda great when talking verbally. Our attitude and personality doesn't really match and you know we had a lot of misunderstanding as well but I have my reasons. You can socialize with people and you're also fun to be with. But please know every person you are with and not just look at what you see about them. Continue to make people laugh because laughing is the best thing to do. Your friends are there for you and seriously appreciate them because they appreciated you in the first place. Thank you for the times you made me laugh and smile.

My girl cruuuush. Words can't handle how thankful I am with you. But thank you. Thank you for being there at times I feel I'm alone. I really really like your dancing skills and I'm really happy to be dancing with my close friend, to have a dancing buddy. You shine in art and you're amazing with what you can do with art. I know it makes you happy. You really surprised me when you proved to us you can act and speak for yourself that you actually have ideas. It's because we were used to being quiet in class and I'm happy for you to improve and become better. Thank you for the efforts and everything else. Thank you for helping me when I needed my help. You can stand on your own. I notice you try to do things that others do and I think that's putting effort in everything that you do. I think you socialize well with other people and I like how you are a good leader to everyone. You have your friends to support you. I don't know what happened this year but you really became so active and hype that you make our day a lot of fun, I told you about that. And it's great that you become so active in class that sometimes I feel shy about being on the list without even participating a lot. You're really nice and fun to talk to that even the serious conversations become fun. Since elementary until now, you make me laugh and smile and I remember in grade 6 we were always teasing each other and that's how it really started with all kinds of nicknames with our batch 2015. Thank you for the laughter and for the efforts in our group. Sorry if I'm mean and know that I often suck with joking or kidding around that if it ever happened to offend you. 2018 has been a great journey so far. Who I am today had come from my experiences and 2018 gave me experiences like major setbacks or a rain with rainbow kind of experience. Regrets as they say won't miss it. Yes, I've been regretful for the past couple of months and I've always taught myself to move on because one situation happens and you can't do anything with it anymore. 2018 surely taught me many things I have yet to discover especially about myself. It mostly taught me and confronted me to stand on my own with no boundaries and less drama. To perform at my best even if it's not enough. To nail every step, I take. To try to speak up but it's almost taking risk from saying harsh words. I know something about me changed this year from last year. I know because I noticed and... I purposely wanted to change to become the better version of myself. I am no longer doing it for others but for myself. I'm the one responsible to stitch my own wounds and heal faded scars. I am responsible for my own happiness. Thank you, 2018.
