Previously, Toki and Sakura's mom realized that something was up with the time between the inside and the outside of Sakura's house. Toki's called in the cavalry, but as they re-enter the house, they have to wonder:

Is Sakura okay?

"What do you mean, it's eight."

Toki holds up his smartphone, revealing that the time was eleven, just as he said.

"That's strange," Yuki says, checking her own phone. It says the time is eight. "But both phones update automatically. They literally can't be wrong."

Toki scowls, and quickly sends a text to Ogami and Yuuki explaining the problem. "Mrs. Sakurakouji, you need to let me inside. I think Sakura is in danger.

"What?" Yuki asks, but Toki shoves past her.

"Sakura!"

She stares back at the pair with wide eyes as a person behind her grabs her shoulder.

Rei Ogami glares across the room, to which his new partner, Nikki Maru, sticks out her pierced tongue, the room crackling with tension. Why did I have to get stuck with a spoilsport like him? Nikki asks herself, brushing a lock of rainbow-colored hair out of her face so that she could see better with her sharp gray eyes. Rei's dark blue hair shadows his own blue eyes, hiding the rage in them. Why did I have to get stuck with a hipster like her?

"I know Nikki Maru can be a handful," Akiro Senkya breaks the silence. His hair and eyes are black, but his heart is darker. "But RaSaKun thought the two of you would be useful together."

"How are Hiro and her partner?" Nikki asks, changing the subject.

"The time field is working, but it was discovered by Toki. Kona had to go in sooner than planned. We'll hear the results soon." Akiro explains, "Now remember, when you go in, we want her to agree. No hypnotism, Nikki."

"I have a suggestion," Rei whispers, leaning in.

"Sure, shoot," Nikki smirks.

Rei wrinkles his nose at Nikki's informal language. "Why don't we bring in Toki too. In case Nikki and I can't convince her. Since she already knows me, Nikki will play bad cop and I'll play the good cop."

"Boo. I wanted to play good cop." Nikki sticks out her tongue again. "Why do we need Toki, anyway?"

"You'll see." Rei grins. "You're going to need a gun."

"Sakura!" Yuuki Tenpouin calls, looking around the house.

It had been an hour since Toki Fujiwara had come over and disappeared, along with Sakura. This one is plenty cute too ♥ Sakura has some good looking friends. Yuki Sakurakouji thinks, staring at Yuuki's warm brown eyes and spiky red hair. I hope she finds one of them she likes! Of course, we have to find her first.

"You say Toki was here too?" Yuuki asks, exhausted from the search.

"Yes," Yuki agrees. "That's when I discovered that my phone was four hours behind!"

Yuuki considers this, "Have you seen Ogami?"

"No, why?"

"He was supposed to pick me up at the Airport. He wasn't there. I was wondering if he came here to help with Sakura and her disappearance."

"No, I'm sorry. Maybe he got held up?" Yuki suggests.

"Yeah, maybe."
