Izumi's P.O.V.

We decided to go on a large family outing, well, that's what they said. And by that, we kids went around to all our old hangouts. The parents were doing something.

"Swings! Hiro, push me!" I exclaimed happily seeing a swing set and rushing over, plopping not myself on the worn seat. I grasped the slightly rusty chain and the metallic paint rubbed off on my hand slightly, but I didn't care.

"How are you older than me?" Hiro chuckled, rushing over and standing in front of my swing, grabbing the chains above my hands. He kisses me swiftly on the lips before moving behind the swing and starting to push me. His warm hands pressing against my lower back, it made me happy. Reminding me of old times when Hiro and Rei were still in middle school.

~flashback~ (high school freshman)

"You too worry me so much sometimes." I found myself saying as I sit on the swings in the middle of them.

"We're sorry Izumi! We just wanted to see you." The little boys had cuts and scrapes on their arms and knees, their faces too, bandaids almost everywhere, but they were still adorable.

"Just, next time, call my phone first, I was really worried." The pair nodded frantically. "Good." I sighed as we looked at the sky, stars dotting it in thousands of different patterns. I was so happy.

"It seems like forever since we last came here." Rei says as I now kick on the swing myself, Hiro leaning against the pole.

"I remember I went on my first date here. Well, ended my first date here." Emma smiled.

"Yeah, this place alone holds a lot of my childhood memories." Zero comments as he causally wraps an arm around Rei.

"Uhg, stupid lovebirds." Yuki grumbled. Is stopped moving my legs and let my swing slowly come to a stop.

"Honestly, I don't feel like it's been that long since everything was like this. I can hear Hiro and Rei laughing like always, Yuki muttering stuff about Semes and Ukes, Emma asking me to put on a dress, and the teasing remarks Hikaru and Karou always said. It doesn't seem all that long ago, despite me nearing my twenty fifth birthday. I still feel like a teenager." I admit as I sigh. Honestly, coming back home always fills me with a sense of nostalgia. Makes me feel young again.

"I know what you mean. Hey Izumi, remember the day I ran away from home and you came after me?" Hiro questions.

"I definitely remember it. Everyone was so worried." I say, looking over at him.

"Almost all my memories revolve around you, if you were to ever suddenly disappear, I don't know what I'd do." Hiro sighs and walks up to me, grabbing on of the chains on the swing.

"Rei has a lot of memories of me as well you know. You two followed me everywhere." I remind.

"Yes, but you do realize now that you have more memories of me than you do of him? And I have more of you?" Hiro smirked a bit.

"I never really realized that." Rei comments causally. I smile, because I realize what was happening.

"I don't believe it. Hiro, are you jealous of someone I have no romantic interest in and who has a boyfriend?" I tease. Everyone looks at him as e blushes.

"I can't help it. Most of our lives we've been in love with you. It's not like feelings like that will ever go away, even if you fall in love again." Hiro informs. I get up and place my arms around Hiro's neck, smiling lovingly at him.

"You're an idiot. I'm going to tell you this once, I'm yours and you're mine, no one can come between. Be it a childhood friend or even relatives. If they're able to break us apart, than our relationship isn't strong." I say , pecking his lips. "I love you, don't forget that." Hiro blushed again and I let go.

"Wow, he has you wrapped around his finger." The twins comment.

"Izumi.." Hiro pouts. He hugs me and I relax in his arms.

"Nah, it's more like we have a mutual understanding of each other." I admit as I turn and look at Hiro's face.

"Well, we should by some snacks and drinks for the party later, mom told us to do that." Emma informed.

"Yeah, let's go to the little convince store that was a few minutes away from the high school." Yuki nodded.

"I wonder what the adults are doing?" Zero questions.

"No idea. Probably something evil." Hiro jokes.

"No kidding." Rei snickered.

"This is mom and dad were takin about after all." The twins chimed in.

"I hope it's Hiro's mom that's making the cake, I like her cooking the best. Though, I like Hiro's cooking too." I say suddenly, causing the others to stop in their tracks and look at me. "Oh, I'm sorry, incoherent mumbling is annoying."

"Izumi, you're too adorable and precious for this world!" Emma exclaimed.

"Mine." Hiro dragged me back into his arms, wrapping them protectively around me.

"We know that Hiro." Rei chuckles.

"This game looks like fun. Mine." Zero wrapped his arms around Rei.

"I hate you damn lovebirds." Yuki sighs.

"you have a boyfriend. Me on the other hand, I'm still single." Emma sighs.

"We normally don't get approached much because were joined at the hip." The twins sigh.

"Understandable." Emma smiles.

"Let's just buy some snacks guys, I want to see the old place." I sigh and we all head to the store, the same old classic 90's music (anything before 2000 really)playing in the background.

"I'm a two thousand's kid, we all are." Hikaru comments.

"Yeah." I hummed along to the song as I got some soda bottles. Yet, my ears seemed to pick up my favorite song. Well, favorite that's played in this store.

"Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?" I burst out singing, much to the surprise of my companions. "Caught in a landslide-"

"No escape from reality!" Hiro chinned in.

"We can't take you two anywhere." Yuki mutters.

"Open your eyes, look up to the sky and see!" Hiro sang with me.

"I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy!" I soloed and we jumped back into it.

"Cause I'm easy come, easy go, little high, little low, any way the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me." We were going to sing more when two people clapped behind us.

"Bravo, bravo. Never expected to find you here." Zero, Rei, Hiro and I turned to the voice and saw Misaki and Gray, who were currently buying alcohol.

"Yo." Zero waved.

"So you guys used to live around here. That means that we could've met once before. I lived in an apartment complex near the college that's close by." Gray informed.

"Really. That's cool. We lived in pretty average houses." I smile.

"Is that the actor Gray Faustus?" Emma questions.

"Yeah. I'm managing him and Misaki." I inform.

"We made our wedding invitations the other day, so here you go-" I stop him.

"Why don't you drop by Hiro's house? We're having cake." I say suddenly.

"That would be awesome." The twins smiled brightly. The two shifted a bit.

"What's your parents stand on homosexuality?" Misaki questions hesitantly.

"They're okay with it. After all, you can't help who you fall in love with." Emma smiled.

"Yeah, they'll accept you without a doubt." Zero smiles.

"We know that families normally don't accept this stuff, so I understand if you feel hesitant. Though, please consider that there are going to be people out there who accept you fully." I say with a smile. I knew all to well what harsh reality it is for a celebrity or anyone in general to come out as gay. One of my friends came out as gay and I had accepted him, because he was my friend, but he later disappeared. I learned later that he committed suicide. Yata knew him too. After all, in the few years I had been apart from Rei and Hiro, I had made friends who I treasured.

"We'll go." Gray smiled. We all bought our things and headed home.

"Mom, Dad, we brought guests." Hiro says walking in.

"We're in the kitchen!" Rei's mom shouted.

"Is it just me or do t- never mind." Hikaru was going to say something, but cut himself off. We walk in.

"I hope you don't mind but I brought a friend from California, well two. I'm currently managing them." I inform. The adults look up at us and smile.

"Aren't you two that power couple we always hear about? My son told me the other day that he was glad to see such sweet things like you get married." Rei's mom comments.

"Because they went through a lot and it's brave of them to stick it too the media. I have no confidence in myself for that." Rei admits. Zero pulls him slightly and kisses Rei on the head.

"I'll be ready when you are." Zero whispers.

"It's not like I have no confidence, but it's not like I can go up to the media and say that I'm dating someone I manage. I may be an actor, but I'm the boys manager first. So it's a matter of timing." I sigh.

"I'm ready if you are." Hiro smiles kindly.

"I know that. Oh, you said you were giving us invitations right?" I mention.

"Oh, right." Gray pulled out four invitations. He gave one to Rei and one to Zero, one to me and one to Yuki.

"Make sure to invite that boyfriend of yours come." Misaki smiled.

"Why didn't you give Hiro one?" Emma questions.

"Well, with Rei and Zero, the pair live in their own homes, but Hiro and Izumi live together. So We just assumed that only one invitation was needed." Gray informed. Hiro and I blush a bit.

"Makes sense." Rei and zero shrug.

"I agree." Yuki grins. Every other household member was staring at us. I thought we were going to get yelled at, but I had not expected what came next.

"So, Izumi told you he loves you, you two have known each other for a long time, dated each other for quite awhile and you live together and you're telling me that you two are still virgins?" Karou questions.

"Karou!" Hiro exclaimed with a blush.

"Well, it's not like they don't have extra rooms." Zero informed.

"Yeah, there's rooms for me and Hiro to stay when we went over before. Though, I'm pretty sure Hiro likes to cuddle." Rei teased.

"He does." I say as a matter of fact.

"Izumi, your so mean sometimes." Hiro pouts and I smile at him.

"But you love me anyways." I smirk andHiro sighed.

"Yeah, I do." He kissed my forehead and we continued to blush. We kinda forgot where we were again.

"Hey, don't forget we're here too." Yuki complains.

"O-oh, sorry!" I exclaimed.

"They're always like that. Anyways, let's have cake!" Rei exclaimed.

"All of you sit down." Hiro's mother shushed.

"We'll bring the cake for you three birthday boys." My mother smiled.

"They're all grown up!" Rei's mom smiled. Our fathers just smiled from behind them.

"I wish our families were like this." Misaki sighed.

"If you two ever need anything, feel free to drop by." My father informed, ruffling Gray and Misaki's hair. While smiling, we all sat around the table and when the cake arrived, Rei, Hiro and I all took a deep breath and blew out the candles.

'I wish Hiro and I could stay together.'

We then happily ate cake, chatting happily when the door bell rang. I wiped my mouth with a napkin and got up.

"I'll go get it." They all nodded and Hiro got up to go with me. We got to the door and opened it. Standing there was someone I hoped I'd never see again.

"Hello little Izumi, did you miss me?"
