"Leaf Hurricane!"

I opened my eyes to see what was going on and all I saw was a green flash and felt a huge gust of wind. Kuroshi suddenly got kicked away, hitting the tree from the powerful impact.

I looked to see who had saved me and I saw Guy.

"Guy?"

He turned around, giving me a thumbs up and smiled, making his teeth sparkle.

"I've got your back, Hana!"

He helped me get back on my feet and looked concerned. 

"So where's Kakashi and the others?" He asks.

"I don't know," I sigh. "This morning an explosion happened and suddenly Rin was like possessed or something and then Obito and Kakashi went missing,"

"I see," Guy nodded. "It looks like this guy had a trap set out and you guys fell right into it. Let's take this guy down and find your teammates,"

"Okay, but I already have Rin secured," I nodded. 

"By who?"

"An old comrade of mine, he saw that I was in trouble and stepped in," 

"Hana, if we are going to take this guy down, I have to know what his abilities are and all. Are you able to explain to me?" Guy asked.

"Yes," I said. "So, he's able to overshadow your body by turning transparent. It's similar to the mind transfer jutsu from the Yamanaka clan, but it's different because he steps inside of your body like a ghost and then he possesses you,"

"So he's a human ghost," Guy nodded. "What are his weaknesses?"

"I don't know all of them yet, but all I do know is that he can't use his kekkei genkai in the light and can only do it in the darkness," 

"Looks like we both have to team up to take him down," Guy said.

"Agreed,"

Before I could start discussing a strategy, Guy held his hand out and his palms faced the ground. 

He grunted at me.

"Hm,"

I looked at him baffled, not understanding what he was trying to do.

He continued to grunt at me and I finally got the hint when he moved his hand. I put my hand on top of his, sweat dropping.

"Let's fight with the power of youth!" He shouted, chanting a bunch of words about fighting. We put our hands up and then got into a battle stance.

"Guy, what the hell was that?" 

"It's to get us pumped!" He grinned again.

I shook my head,  muttering. "Oh Guy..."

Kuroshi stood back up and I decided to land the first hit so Guy would have an opportunity to land a harder hit. I ran towards Kuroshi and actually cut his arm with my kunai, then he kept trying to dodge my kunai.

That's when Guy stepped in to land the bigger blow.

"Leaf Hurricane!" Guy yelled, kicking Kuroshi again.

Kuroshi fell to the ground again, stunned. I don't think he expected taijutsu to take him down and I was also surprised that Guy managed to knock him off his feet like that without using an actual jutsu.

"Okay Hana, I've got a plan," Guy said as Kuroshi had the wind knocked out of him.

"What is it?" I ask.

"First, we need to keep attacking to find more of his weaknesses, then we both need to use a weakness at the same time when we get the chance. That should put a stop to him," Guy explained.

That idea didn't sound bad.

"Okay, let's do it," I nodded, weaving signs. "Water style, ripping torrent!"

Water spiraled in my palm rapidly and I aimed it at Kuroshi and it hit him multiple times, making him fall back down to the ground. 

Guy ran at him to start hitting him with his taijutsu and I noticed that Kuroshi attempted to throw shurikens at Guy.

I quickly weaved the signs for the water shield and it shielded Guy from the shurikens.

Kuroshi grew irritated.

"Enough!" He snapped, grabbing Guy's wrist in the midst of a punch and threw him down to the ground.

We were both stunned. I didn't think there was someone who could handle Guy like that. Guy's eyes widened when he realized how easily Kuroshi just threw him to the ground.

Kuroshi's golden eyes started glowing and I realized I had accidentally made eye contact with him. My body froze and I noticed he was transparent already and I felt this odd feeling side of me, as if something was trying to take over my thoughts.

I realized Kuroshi had overshadowed me.

I realized my body started running towards Guy and I couldn't control it. 

"Hana? Why are you trying to attack me? You're supposed to attack the other guy!" Guy exclaimed. 

"I don't have control of my body, Guy! He overshadowed me!" I replied in a panic.

Kuroshi forced my hands to weave the signs for the water dragon jutsu. I didn't even have enough chakra to perform it. I already used too much for my ripping torrent.

"Guy, don't let my attack hit you! He's going to make me use the water dragon jutsu!" I warned.

Guy watched carefully and I tried my hardest to resist Kuroshi's control. I heard a laugh inside of my head and it wasn't that other thing that talks to me.

"You think you can resist, huh? Don't make me laugh. I control every move you make, I  can control every thought you have. I can possess you now if I wanted, but I won't do that because I want you to watch helplessly as you kill your friend here," Kuroshi snickered.

I could imagine he had that devilish smirk on his face again.

"Kuroshi! Stop! Get out!" I shouted, trying to resist using the water dragon jutsu. I didn't want to kill Guy, I couldn't live with myself I were to be the cause of his death, even if it wasn't my fault.

"Once you two are done with, your earth scroll is mine," Kuroshi ignored me.

"Hana, you have to keep trying to resist him. You own your body, so don't let someone else take control of it!" Guy encouraged.

"I'm trying, Guy! This is harder than it looks!" I retorted as Kuroshi managed to make me weave the first sign.

I bit my lip harshly, making Kuroshi yelp.

Looks like he could feel any pain that I feel while he overshadowed my body. I found another weakness of his.

"Guy, use your Leaf Hurricane on me, he can feel pain while he's in my body!" I shout.

Guy looked torn and confused.

"I can't do that, Hana. That's going to hurt you as well," Guy shook his head.

"Guy, you have to. He's going to kill you with my body and I don't want that to happen," I pleaded. 

Guy continued to shake his head. I sighed and heard Kuroshi snickering.

Suddenly, my chakra started to flare up like it did when I got Rin back to her senses. It was almost as if something inside of me was angry that Kuroshi had overshadowed me and I heard Kuroshi gasp.

Kuroshi suddenly stepped out of my body, looking horrified. I don't know what happened.

"Hana, good job! You resisted him!" Guy shouted with relief.

"Yeah..." I trailed off, a little confused.

I realized Kuroshi's eyes are almost like the sharingan, but instead of a genjutsu, it puts you in a trance and that's when he takes his chance to overshadow you. He's literally a human ghost. 

Kuroshi snapped out of his fear and fixed his posture.

"You...what are you?" He asked me.

I looked at him, extremely confused. 

"Hana, don't let him confuse you! We have to take him down!" Guy interrupted.

I nodded and started to weave handsigns. Kuroshi pulled his sword out, but Guy quickly kicked it away and after I was done weaving signs, chains made out of water surrounded him and then bound him to the ground. Kuroshi was struggling to get out of it and then stopped.

He looked up at me and nodded approvingly.

Guy and I exchanged glances.

"I guess you're the one who can take her down, for good," Kuroshi said.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Nozomi," He clarified. "I've trained for so many years so I could be the one to take her down before she lets the hatred consume her, but I'm never able to meet her strength. After testing you, I guess my theory was wrong,"

"What theory?" Guy asks.

"I thought Hana was weak and wouldn't be able to take her down, but then she interested me when you suddenly told me you still wanted to protect your teammate. You proved me wrong and now I know you're the one who can take her down," He replied.

Why does Kuroshi want to kill his own sister? What does he mean by "letting the hate consume her"?

"What hell are you talking about? Why do you think I'm the one who's supposed to kill her?" I asked.

"What? You...after what I just saw, I definitely know you're the one," Kuroshi asked me, astonished.

I don't understand what he's talking about!

"Saw what?" 

He rose an eyebrow and Guy just put his hand on my shoulder.

"Let's just get going Hana, we need to find Rin and the others," Guy said.

"Right," I nodded and led the way where Killer B went. 

That fight completely changed and now I have too many questions running through my head. First, Kuroshi acted as if he was going to kill me, and now he wants me to kill someone for him?

A few moments later, I found Killer B and Rin. Rin was sitting against a rock and one of B's teammates were trying to heal her injuries.

"Hana?" Killer B asked when he saw me. "Did you take him down?"

"Yes, but it's very complicated. How is she doing?" I replied and looked at her.

"She's better, but she's very tired right now. She just needs to rest and focus on healing her own injuries." B's teammate answered me.

Rin stood up when she saw me and walked over, stumbling a little.

"We need to get going, Hana. We haven't gotten an earth scroll yet and Kakashi and Obito are still missing," She said.

"Rin, just be careful. Let me fight off anyone and don't try to join because I don't want you getting hurt even more," I said and turned to Guy. "You can go back to your team, we're just going to go find Kakashi and Obito,"

"No worries," Guy shook his head. "You're both very tired and I can't let you two go alone like that. Not until we find Kakashi or Obito at least,"

I let Guy go with us since there was no changing his mind. I said goodbye to Killer B and we left. Guy kept looking around for enemies while Rin and I were looking for Obito and Kakashi.

Rin makes it hard for me to dislike her. Even if I do dislike her, I'm going to protect her no matter what because she's a part of my team.

The bush in front of us started rustling and we snapped our attention to the bush. Guy ran up to it and aimed a punch.

"Ouch! What the hell?!" 

The person he had punched groaned in pain and stepped out of the bush. It was Obito and I was glad to see he's okay, aside from the bloody nose. Guy rubbed the back of his head sheepishly as Obito held onto his face and glared at him.

"What the hell Guy? What was that for?" Obito asked.

"I thought you were an enemy trying to attack us, sorry," Guy laughed nervously.

Obito rolled his eyes.

I walked over to Obito with a tissue and put it on his face to help his bloody nose. 

"Are you okay Obito?" Rin asked.

He nodded. 

"Did anything happen while Kakashi and I were gone?" Obito asked, now holding the tissue on his nose. 

I explained to him what happened and how Guy helped me when I was near death. I just left out the part about how Nozomi and Kuroshi are siblings since I don't know the full story myself. 

Rin also told him about how Killer B's teammate helped her with healing. 

Once Obito was caught up, Guy had to leave to find his team.

"Well, now that you've found Obito, I'm going to go find my team. Good luck finding the scroll!" Guy waved and left.

"Now," I said. "Time to find Kakashi,"

I turned around. Kakashi was already behind me and I screamed because he scared the hell out of me. 

"Hush! Someone's going to find us if you scream again!" Kakashi exclaimed.

"God, Kakashi," I retorted. "You scared the absolute hell out of me and you expect me not to scream?"

Kakashi rolled his eyes and Obito looked over at him suspiciously.

"Kakashi? Are you injured?" Rin asks him.

"No, I'm fine," Kakashi replied.

"How do we know if you're the real Kakashi?" Obito asked, narrowing his eyes.

Kakashi shook his head.

"I don't think you're in the position to be questioning me, considering you got punched in the face by Guy," Kakashi retorts.

Obito glared at him and they started to bicker.

"Guys," I groaned. "This isn't the time to be arguing. Half of us are injured and we need to find an earth scroll,"

"Injured?" Kakashi asks.

"Yes," I said and started explaining what happened with Kuroshi. 

Kakashi suddenly pulled an earth scroll out and I widened my eyes with shock.

"What? How did you get it?" Obito asked him.

"When we got separated, I got it from a Sand ninja who tried to ambush me. It was easy," Kakashi replied.

"That's great, Kakashi!" Rin smiled.

"Yeah, now we just need to get the hell out of here," I added.

Our group was back together now and Kakashi led the way so we could leave. My thoughts kept drifting to Nozomi and Kuroshi. He said a different last name than what she told me and then told me that they aren't blood-related. What the hell is going on?

Who is Nozomi exactly? She said her last name was Kuroki, but Kuroshi said it was Akamatsu. The biggest question on my mind right now is what Kuroshi was talking about when he told me that I was the one who can take her down.

And that reminds me, what was with that horrified look he was giving me?

All of these unanswered questions were giving me a headache.

Kakashi and Obito now started bickering about which direction we should go. Rin and I just exchanged looks.

"Guys, we need to stop fighting so we can get out of here already," I said and they just ignored me.

I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, I'm leading the way now," I said and pushed past the two of them, crossing my arms.

Now that has their attention.

"But Hana, you're injured right now," Obito tried reasoning.

"Yeah and I was the leader originally." Kakashi added.

"I'll be fine," I said. "We are getting nowhere with you two fighting. We are taking the left path and that's final." 

Kakashi sighed with defeat and exasperation. Obito stayed quiet and Rin was just happy that we were finally getting a move on.

I started leading the way and I could feel the pain starting to get worse. I did my best to resist it because I had to keep walking or else we would never get out of this forest. 

I hoped that we were closer to the exit now that I was leading. It got dark and that's when we decided we should find a secluded spot to rest for the night.

As we searched, my mind couldn't stop replaying how Yukio and Rentaro were able to beat me. My pride was still broken because of that and I started to clench my jaw in anger when I remembered his green painted lips just smirking at me.
