The two teenagers then had a clue on where to find the man. It was past 5pm and it was getting dark. Nnamdi drove his motorcycle with Efe behind him. Stopping from time to time for the direction of the address.

Efe on the other hand was feeling elated. She was trying not to get her hopes up too much.

Nnamdi stopped in front of a black gate. On it was written  BEWARE OF DOGS. The neighborhood didn't look too populated as only a few houses could be seen. Stray papers and cookie wraps were littered all over the street.

The house itself wasn't something to write about. Efe wondered how her father could live in such place. Or was he still trying to hide. It was terrible.

Nnamdi jumped from the bike and held Efe's waist to help her get down. Efe was blushing like a tomato. But he didn't notice.

Efe opened the compound door and the inside was worse than the outside.

It was a two story building which had a well at the corner.  The place smelled of dirt and grime. The walls which looked like it was painted a victorious green had faded to a horrifying brown colour. The   verandah which was yellow was slowly turning black. And the walls were filled with holes and cracks. Which rodents and pests gladly used as a passage way.

The door of the house was already rotten from termites. As well as it bad loose ends and no handle.

Efe was disgusted beyond her limit while Nnamdi looked like he had seen worse.

Nnamdi had the courage to knock on the door.

Nobody answered

Again he knocked.

Nobody answered

Be was about to knock again when the door was swung open. In it was a lady of about 19 years old. Wearing a skimpy dress which made her nipples stand attention. Her red attachments were already overgrown. She had eyelashes that could be used as umbrellas. Her whole looked screamed one thing.

She had an angry look but open seeing Nnamdi, her look softened and it turned into a more seductive look.

"How can I help you fine boy?" She asked as she tried to touch his chest.

Nnamdi flinched from her touch but she didn't care.

"Please we are looking for Mr. Aaron Naborhi." Be said dryly.

"We?" She asked confused and looked behind the boy to see Efe wearing a frown on her face.

The lady was vexed upon seeing her. But still persisted to make a move on the poor boy.

"Hmm. He was the man living in this compound with his pregnant wife." She said.

Pregnant?

That was the word on Efe's mind. She started reasoning and thinking of the time frame. It meant that boy was the pregnancy.
And that boy looked about a year old.

Which means that my dad gave  Mapis a wrong address.

Why?

"Okay, so do you have any idea where they are now?"
Nnamdi asked.

"I don't really know. But I know where you and I are going to be any time soon." Her voice laced with seduction.

This got Efe drunk with anger as she pulled Nnamdi away from the girl and started dragging him out of the compound.

"Thanks for the information but I and my BOYFRIEND will be on our way."

Nnamdi almost lost his senses when Efe referred to him as her boyfriend.

It was surreal. He wasn't sure what to feel about it but he liked it.

They exited the compound and Nnamdi looked at her with wide eyes.

"What was that all about?" He asked with an amused smile.

Efe blushed deeply. She herself didn't know why she said that, maybe she felt jealous?

She amused even herself. Why should she be jealous? It wasn't like she was his girlfriend or her crush or something.

Sorry..... Scratch that crush part.

She tried to ignore her inner romantic she got from reading too many romance novels.

But the way Nnamdi was making her heart tick like a bomb waiting to explode was something else.

"I dunno. She was just all over you." But our dear Efe did know why she did that.

Nnamdi laughed and laughed. Making Efe feel so embarrassed. The next thing our brother made Efe's bones melt into cartilage.

He gave her a peck on the cheek.

Efe froze as blood rushed up to her cheeks.

She rose her hand to touch where he touched and it was burning.

To her though.

Nnamdi himself was bold enough to do this. He shocked himself.

Efe was about to return the gesture when.

"EFE! I'VE FOUND YOU!"

Efe turned obviously displeased when she saw the one person she didn't expect to see at all.

"Joshua?!"

Hey everyone. I'm sorry for not updating. My phone wasn't handled with care and it fell. Making half of my screen blank and the other half filled with cracks and blurs.

It's very hard to type and most times I have to use my mom's phone to access Wattpad.

And I go to school, my mom goes to work. So Wattpad is going to be very hard to take care of.

So I don't really know whether I should continue with this book or wait till my mom's phone is free.
