Amethyst's P.O.V

"Why didn't you guys go to school today?" Dad asks sternly.

"Ask Max. It was his idea." CJ says.

"But you chose to go with the plan." Mom says.

"They both somehow convinced me to do it." Mom sighs.

"You two go up to your room. You're grounded for the week." She says. CJ and I nod and head upstairs.

"Why does Max do this?" CJ asks.

"Real question: Why do we agree with Max?" I ask.

"So he won't do something stupid and end up getting himself killed." CJ says. True.

"Well, what do you want to do? I'm bored." I sigh.

"I don't know. Draw? Read?" CJ suggests. I sigh and grab a book from the bookshelf. Mom got me obsessed with this Warriors series. She said that she's read them since she was in 6th grade, which is a pretty long time to be honest. She'll even reread the whole series in like 2 weeks! Anyways, I sit down on my beanbag and start reading meh book.

====== Time Skip ======

"Guys! I have an Idea!" Max says.

"Max, we're not doing any of your stupid ideas."

"Why don't sneak out an visit Tree?" He continues, completely ignoring me.

"We're already grounded. I'm not going to get into deeper trouble because I know that Jason's going to be the one dealing with us, and I don't want that soo." CJ says.

"Come on! We won't get caught! We'll be back by morning." Max says.

"You said that earlier and look what happened." Leigha says and crosses her arms.

"Fine, I'll go by myself." Max grunts and jumps out the window, onto the roof above the brewing room. 

"He better hope that Seto's not in there. Anyways, we can't let him go by himself. We have to go after him." I say and jump out the window after him.

====== Time Skip ======

"Tree? We're back!" Max exclaims.

"Oh. Shouldn't you kids be in bed?" Tree asks.

"Yes. We're not even supposed to be out here anyway. We're grounded." I sigh.

"Oh. Well, I have a message for you guys." Tree says and the wind starts picking up greatly. What the?

"There will be a group, powerful than the one before you," He says and thunder starts rumbling.

"Is this supposed to happen?" Leigha asks.

"But beware, a powerful witch will rise from the present enemy. Only 3 can defeat her. Many will die before there is everfore peace." Tree continues. The wind picks up and swirls around us. I then feel a sudden strength go inside me, then, the wind stops, and everything is silent.

"Come on, we need to get home before dawn comes."
