Crystal's P.O.V

I take my locket off and open it. There are two pictures in it. On the left is a picture of Ty and I back when he was 16 and I was 14. The other one is all 16 of us. Everyone not including Nick, Katelynn, Dan, or any of the kids. This was taken 9 years ago. Someone knocks on my door, which makes me jump in surprise.

"Wh-who is it?"

"It's Mitch. Husky told me you wanted to talk." Mitch explains.

"Come in." I say as I put my sweatshirt on. Mitch opens the door and enters my room. I look at the floor.

"How are you feeling?" He asks as pulls my computer chair in front of me and sits in it.

"I don't know. Define that." Mitch sighs.

"Are you getting over it a little?" He asks slowly.

"No." I say sharply. "And it's my fault."

"Crystal, it was not you. It was Tristan. He made Bloodstone control you so you would blame yourself, but we know better than that. You know better than that." Mitch explains.

"But I could've stopped her. I didn't and that got Ty killed!" Mitch glances at my wrist. I pull my sleeve over it more.

"Crys, let me see your arm." He says. I shake my head.

"N-no. There's nothing to see."

"Let me see your arm." He says firmly. He takes my arm and lifts up the sleeve, revealing gauze wrapped around my wrist and part of my forearm.

"What'd you do?" Mitch asks and crosses his arms.

"I'm clumsy. You know that."

"But how did you do that?" Oh StarClan.

"I-I," I can't think of an excuse!

"Crystal, you didn't do what I think you did." Mitch says worriedly. I take a deep breath and unwrap the gauze, revealing 3 horizontal scars on my wrist.

"This doesn't happen from clumsiness. Crystal, why?" Mitch asks with sympathy in his eyes.

"I-I thought that if I was gone, you guys wouldn't suffer from Tristan and he would leave you guys alone. He's only doing it because I'm here. It's my fault that you guys are suffering. I'm just trying to protect you guys." I explain with tears in my eyes. Mitch hugs me.

"Crystal, you are already protecting us the best you can. The only way to stop Tristan is to kill him, not you. Cutting is never the answer. If you ever need to talk about something, you have family to talk to. Don't always take everything in your own matters. Ok?" Mitch explains and wipes my tears away. I nod.

"Ok. Ian and the girls cooked dinner and we're waiting for you to come down." He adds.

"K. I-I'll be down in a minute." I say. Mitch smiles and leaves my room. I was about to go into the bathroom, when I heard a familiar voice behind me.

"You know better than to do that." It says. I gasp and turn around to see Ty with a stern look on his face.

"T-Ty?"

"Crystal, you know better than to cut. Why?" He asks.

"I was thinking of the others safety. I don't want to lose anyone else. It's already bad enough that the other 4 are dead, and after Dad died of cancer 3 years ago, I didn't want to lose you, but look what happened. I don't want it to happen again." I explain.

"Crystal, listen. Like Mitch said, you're protecting everyone the best you can. And it's not just you protecting them, they're also protecting you and each other. All of this is out of anyone's control. It's all Tristan's idea, not yours. Now please do me a favor," Ty explains.

"Wh-what?"

"I want you to be strong and defeat that dumbass. You're not going to do any of that if you just stay in here 24/7." Ty says. I smile.

"Ok." Ty smiles.

"I have to go now. Bye sis. Miss you."

"Wait, can you say hi to the others for us, and Dad for me?" I ask. Ty nods.

"Okey. Miss you too. Bye!" I say as we hug each other, then he disappears. I go back into the bathroom and fix my hair, then head out of my room into the living room. Sabrina runs up and hugs me.

"Hey Bri. Hey guys." I say as she let's go of me.

"Hey, you're out of your room for the first time in a week." Jason laughs. I smile.

"Yeah. Someone motivated me to get up." I say and glance a Mitch. And in my mind I think of Ty. "Anyways, let's get food. I'm hungry."
