(Tord is a new scientist and Tom is one of the lab's 'dangerous' experiments. )

"Are you nervous?" Tord's new friend asked him as he unlocks the very secured door leading to where the most dangerous experiments were kept.

Tord shook his head, "Matt, is this really where my job starts?" He asked as he read through the 'experiment' or what the scientists call 'monster's' info.

"There's literally nothing here."

"Well you wanted to be an Experiment Checker, right?" Matt asked as they walk through the quiet hallways. Secured doors were aligned side by side with experiment numbers.

Tord let out a groan when he saw cameras almost everywhere, "yeah, as in.. the person who checks if the experiments are correct. Not an Question and Answer person." Tord remarked.

Matt let out a smirk, "And that's exactly why Edd gave you this job."

'He's so sarcastic.' Matt thought as they paused in front of a door that was labelled with: Experiment #2733

Matt took a long sigh and gave Tord the door's key card. Tord looked at him in confusion before looking at the other doors.

"You know.. I realized... there isn't a lot noise here, considering this part of the building is filled with 'Monsters'" Tord looked back at Matt while giving him a glare,

"And why so much cameras?" He added. Matt scratched his nape in nervousness before sighing, "well you see.. this 'Monster' that you're going to see.. is a.. special one." He said. From that Tord became interested and listened in,

"A special one?"

"Well.. he didn't seem to be the kind of 'Monster' that goes out and kill like the other ones that we actually tucked away in a dungeon... he's the.. 'stay away from me' type of 'Monster'.." Matt explained before he pats Tord on his shoulder.

"And that's why we need you! We need more info about him but he didn't like talking.. soooo... GOODLUCK!" he finished and pushed Tord inside the now so suddenly opened room before shutting it behind him.

Tord shot a glare at the door before turning back to the dark room. It was hard for him to see because none other than the small light above him shed a light through the surroundings.

He took a deep breath, "hello? I'm not going to hurt you. Can you... show yourself?" His norwegain voice echoed through the dim room.

He received silence..

Tord fixed his hair and lab coat in a prideful matter, "ahem, I said--"

"Jesus just fucking get on with the damn questions already." A dark raspy voice answered annoyingly. Tord jolted up in the sudden loud thuds coming right after. It seemed like the monster was finally facing him.

"Can you... come closer?" He asked as he squinted his eyes to get a clear look on the 'mosnters' face.

"No." The 'Monster' replied hesitantly,

"Experiment #2733, I want you to show yourself--"

"I said NO! I'LL JUST ANSWER YOU FROM AFAR! THAT'S ENOUGH!" The 'monster' yelled, Tord stiffened at how cold the room was. He looks up to a camera on a corner on the ceiling.

He knew everyone in the lab was watching him right now. They're watching if he'll be able to befriend the most 'dangerous' monster or not...

Tord sighed and sat on the floor, "okay, I understand. You may do whatever you want as long as you answer my questions."

And with that the 'monster' agreed.

They soon opened up to each other, telling each other stories about themselves and experiences.

Tord told the 'monster' about his old job and school and the 'monster' told Tord about what he has been doing when he's all alone in his room.

Tord soon loved talking to the 'monster' which he now know as 'Thomas' or Tom that he forgot that he already completed his tasked.

"That's what's like in Norway?" Tom asked,

"Yeah, it's always cold there. Like really cold." Tord replied as he acted as if he was freezing to death. This made Tom giggle a bit and Tord found it quite cute.

"That's was.. a really.. cute giggle." Tord said mindlessly in shock as he stared into the darkness. He still didn't know what Tom looked like making him so curious,

"Oh.. okay?"

"Can you.. show yourself to me?" He pleaded as he slowly stood up. He never thought he would be acting like this just because of some guy's voice.. not to mention a 'Monster'.

"N-no.. Tord. Just.. no." Tom replied, Tord slowly walks towards the darkness, dragging the small light above him with him. He was basically tearing it off from the ceiling just to get a look at Tom.

"Tord please. Don't come closer!"

"Just let me see your face--"

'Mr. Larssean your task is finished you may leave Experiment #2733's room. Immediately.'

Tord didn't listen and kept walking forward until a puple figure cowarding on the corner was finally revealed. The figure looked like a ordinary teenage boy that seemed like Tord's age.. only... he had some exposing purple furr on his arms and legs. A large purple tail and two large horns. He had brown spiky hair and a tanned skin, and he was naked.

He was shaking,

"T-tom?" Tord called out in awe, he was truly amazed of how he actually looked like.. he found him... beautiful.

"DON'T LOOK IN MY EYES!!!" Tom warned while keeping his face covered with his large paw like hands. But instead Tord didn't listen and moved even closer as he takes off Tom's hands from his face.

"Tord--"

Tord stood still when he finally managed to see Tom's face. He saw one black eye that was dwelled with tears. He suddenly couldn't move.. he felt like he was frozen.

"No! TORD DON'T LOOK IN MY--"

"TAKE HIM!"

Two scientists rushed in and dragged Tord out from the room before locking it completely. Everyone then crowded around Tord wanting to know what happened.

But they paused when they saw Tord's lower body was completely turned into.. solid ice.

"LARSSEAN! CAN YOU STILL SPEAK?!" Edd, the head scientist yelled as he shakes Tord's shoulders in panic. Everyone was also in panic when Tord didn't reply. But when Tord blinked once all the ice on his lower body disappeared.

"T-tom! Tom?" Tord called out in surprise when Edd and Matt pulled him into a hug. Everyone felt relived.

"Oh god we thought we lost you!" They sighed in relief. Then they both helped Tord up, "what happened in there?" Edd asked,

"Yeah! We kept on calling you out from the CCTV but it's like you weren't listening!" Matt added worriedly.

"I-- what?.."

"The last thing we saw is that your lower body was turned into solid ice..so we knew we had to rush in and get you before that Monster could kill you." Edd said as he looked at Experiment #2733's door disgustingly.
"N-no Edd.. he didn't do anything bad. In fact he warned me but I didn't listen.." Tord explained with fumbling words as he tries to remember,

"What do you mean?" Edd and Matt asked in unison,

"Tom told me that it was dangerous to be close to him. But I didn't listen because I wanted to see him up close and then.."

"Who's Tom? But anyway.. it's okay Larssean don't worry. I'll be placing you on a different job. Maybe the--"

"Actually I'll keep this job..." Tord interrupted, this made everyone gasp.

"But I thought you wanted a different job?" Matt asked as he pointed at Tord. Tord looked over to the secured door in front of all of them,

"I just want to talk to Experiment #2733.. or should I be calling.. Tom again."
