Tori was in her room, laying on her bed. She was glaring at the ceiling, thinking. Lately she'd been having a really odd feeling whenever she was around Matilda, and she even started to flirt with the ginger at some point. Tori could still remember how red Matilda's face turned, and how the girl flirted right back. That made Tori curl up into a ball, blushing a bit as she continued to think of Matilda. She tried to get the thoughts away, hoping that she didn't have a crush on Matilda. 'Matilda's an idiot. An annoyance. She's just in my way, and I don't need her.' Tori almost immediately felt bad for thinking that. She sighed, sitting up on her bed.

'Sorry... Til-til...' She felt relieved even though she knew that Matilda couldn't read minds. Tori frowned and dug under a pillow on her bed, pulling out a cigar. She felt a bit stressed now, wondering if she actually did have a crush on Matilda. And, if she was crushing on Matilda, how could she possibly tell the ginger? She cut the cigar with a pocket knife from her hoodie, then burnt the edge of the cigar with her purple lighter.

'Wait... why is my lighter purple?' She thought to herself. Then, she remembered when Matilda bought it for her. Though, Matilda didn't seem very happy when she saw Tori smoking, so she told her, "...Don't use it too much. I care about you, and I like your voice the way it is..." Tori's face reddened from the memory. Despite the memory, Tori continued to take drags from her cigar.

She shoved the lighter and pocket knife back into her hoodie's front pocket before tapping the cigar to get rid of its extra ashes. After a while of smoking, Tori heard a knock at her door. "The door's unlocked, so just come in." Tori blew some smoke toward the side as the door opened, revealing Matilda. Tori jumped into a straighter seating position, sending Matilda a nervous grin. "Oh, heya Til-til! Do you need something?" Tori questioned, Matilda spotting the cigar. "Oh, not much, I just-" Matilda coughed, not liking the smell of the cigar.

"O-oh, uhm, sorry-" Tori said, hesitantly placing the cigar on a small ash tray that rested on her nightstand. "No, it's fine! Anyway, what I was going to say is that I was wondering if you wanna go to the park with me?" Matilda suggested, earning a slight blush from Tori. "What? Wh-why the park? And why me?" The Norwegian asked, starting to fidget with her fingers. "Oh, y'know." Matilda said simply. "Well... n-no." Tori replied, worried that getting closer to Matilda would only make her crush on the female stronger. "C'mon Tor-tor, please?!" Matilda begged, preparing to pout until Tori agreed to join her. Tori hummed, knowing that Matilda wasn't planning on giving it up.

"...Fine." Tori muttered, her back slouching in defeat. "Yay! Don't worry, it'll be tons of fun!" Matilda replied, smiling brightly at the sulking female. "...Okay..." Tori mumbled, starting to get distressed again. Matilda quirked a brow but shrugged Tori's behavior off, turning and leaving to get changed. "...Of course, she forgot to shut the door behind herself." Tori grumbled, standing from the bed and going over to shut the door. After doing so, she went to her closet and looked at the different styles of clothing. She decided to wear a pink shirt, blue jeans, and her normal red Vans. '...Is this good? Will she like it?' Tori thought, shyly grabbing onto the sides of the shirt.

'...Damnit, I must be really into her or something... but... she'd never feel the same way...' Tori let go of her shirt with that thought, leaving her room and going over to Matilda's room. "Til-til, are you ready yet?" Tori called out, leaning on the wall near Matilda's bedroom door. "Coming, just hang on a second!" Matilda replied from inside, making Tori smirk. "One. Well, it's been a second, now you gotta come out." Tori joked, Matilda giggling loudly and opening the door. "Alright, alright. Well, let's go! And... can we take your car?" Matilda asked, making Tori roll her eyes.

"That's why you wanted me to come? You needed a driver?" Tori queried, frowning slightly. "What? No, that's not why. I just wanted to talk to you... y'know? And hang out!" Matilda responded, giving Tori a hug as an apology for not being very specific. Tori tensed up, her face turning red for the, about, third time that day. Though, soon enough, she hugged back. She hid her face towards Matilda's neck, smelling the female's perfume and hair conditioner.

Tori found herself resting her lips on the softness that was Matilda's skin, looking at the freckles on the girl's shoulder. Matilda's breath hitched when she felt Tori's rough and chapped lips on her skin. Though, she admitted to herself that it felt really nice to hold Tori. She shivered when she felt Tori's breath on her neck, her face starting to redden. The hug lasted for a little while longer, Tori being the one to pull away from it first. They both just watched each other, their faces red. "...N-nice perfume, Til-til." Tori said, trying to get rid of the awkward atmosphere and the butterflies in her stomach. Matilda grinned, starting to nervously fiddle with her fingers. "Thank you, T-Tori. You look nice, by the way." Matilda replied. "Thanks. I like yours too." Tori said, just now observing Matilda's choice of clothing.

Matilda was wearing a white shirt with a Polaroid camera on it, purple jeans, and purple Converse shoes. "It suits you really well." Tori concluded. "Thank you! Well, let's get going!" Matilda decided, gently grabbing Tori's hand and starting to walk off. "Wait, I gotta get my keys." Tori said, releasing Matilda's hand for a moment. She missed Matilda's warmth once she left it, but she really had to get her keys. She grabbed them off of the kitchen table, going back to the door and locking it. She then unlocked her red car, Matilda entering and Tori entering soon after. Tori started the car and drove off, Matilda gazing out of the window.

Tori glanced at Matilda as she drove, noticing some purple pins in the female's hair. Tori tried to stay focused on the road, but it was really hard to do so when she knew that a really cute girl was sitting next to her. "...Shit." Tori muttered, causing Matilda to look at her. "What's wrong?" The female asked, Tori's hands gripping tighter on the steering wheel. "N-nothing at all, Til-til. I'm fine." Tori lied, huffing. She didn't want to have a crush on Matilda. Though, she found Matilda hot, kind, a bit shy in a way, funny, and...

'Ugh, stop! I do NOT have a crush on Matilda! I won't ever have a crush on Matilda, never! And... she'll never have a crush on me either...' Tori thought to herself, her knuckles becoming white as her hands gripped a bit tighter on the wheel. "U-uh, Tor-tor, are you sure that you're alright? You're kinda... h-holding that wheel a bit... strong there..." Matilda said quietly, Tori looking down at the steering wheel for a moment as she loosened her grip. "O-oh, yeah, I'm fine. Sorry about worrying you." Tori replied, keeping a blank look on her face to keep Matilda from worrying any further. Matilda slightly nodded, going back to looking out of the window.

Soon enough, Tori parked the car and exited. The park was nice, simply a large field with a few trees lining the outside. Matilda went over to Tori, her face glowing with a red hue. "O-okay, uh, where do you wanna go?" Matilda questioned, rubbing her arm. "Uhm, how about that spot next to the trees? So that we can sit on the shade, y'know?" Tori suggested, wondering why Matilda seemed so timid all of a sudden. "Uh, sure! Let's go!" Matilda said, seeming to be in a bit of a rush.

Tori shrugged her shoulders and speed-walked alongside Matilda through the dandelion-infested field. When they reached the spot, Matilda sat down and started to pluck blades of grass out of the ground. Tori quirked a brow and sat down next to Matilda, realizing too late that she'd sat down a bit too close. Their shoulders brushed against each other, making Matilda look over at the devil-horned female. "S-sorry, I'll move-" Matilda giggled and wrapped an arm around Tori's shoulders, bringing her closer. "Nah, it's fine!"

The two girls went silent, Tori laying her head on Matilda's shoulder. The silence lasted for a long while, but Matilda soon broke it. "W-well... uh... I have something that I wanted to tell you..." The ginger started, Tori lifting her head. "Oh, really? What is it?" Tori asked, noticing that Matilda's face was turning scarlet. "I-I... uh..." Matilda mumbled something, then brought her knees to her chest and hugged them. "Huh? Sorry, I didn't catch that." Tori said, placing a hand on Matilda's shoulder. The ginger sighed, then tried again to say what she had been planning on saying for a short while.

"I... like you a lot..." Matilda finally said, burying her face into her knees. Tori flinched, starting to turn red. "You do?! Really?!" Tori questioned, Matilda lifting her head. "I-I'm so sorry... I just... I don't know how it happened... we can just forget about it if you-" Matilda was interrupted by a hug from Tori. "I thought that you'd never feel the same way... aren't you too good for me?" Tori replied, Matilda pulling back from the hug to see Tori's face. "What?! No way! You're so cool, and strong, and..." Matilda stopped herself, becoming flustered. 'Well, I guess I can't avoid it now.' Tori decided, beaming. She brought her hands down to Matilda's hands, interlacing her fingers with Matilda's.

"U-uhm... Til-til... can I uh... y'know... kiss you?" Tori stammered, Matilda nodding hesitantly. Tori leaned in, freezing before her lips could reach Matilda's. Matilda laughed, leaning in as well to connect their lips. They closed their eyes, staying that way for a moment. When they parted, Matilda saw that Tori's eyes were starting to water. Matilda brought their intertwined hands to Tori's face and started wiping her tears away. "Are you okay? What happened?" Matilda questioned quietly, Tori closing her eyes as an attempt to stop the flowing tears.

"I-I just... I'm sorry if I acted weird today... I was trying really hard to not like you..." Tori explained, Matilda cocking a brow. "Why?" "Because... well, I'm not sure! For one, I felt and still feel like I'm just going to be a disappointment to you. Second, I didn't think that you'd feel the same way for somebody like me." Tori replied, sniffling. Matilda shook her head and pecked Tori's cheek.

"You're not a disappointment, Tori. I think that you're great! And, I'm not out of your league. I'd really love to date you, if you'd like to..." After Matilda said that, Tori gave her a quick kiss. "Well, yeah! Of course I'll be with you!" Tori responded, both of the girls smiling now. Matilda wiped the remaining tears away from Tori's face, hugging the female again afterward.

(I know that the park thing kinda happened in one of the previous oneshots too, but meh XD.)
