"We can take the train out to the wall but then we'll have to walk." Sokka said as we reached the city.

"Don't worry," Aang said "on the way back we'll be flying!"

"We're finally leaving Ba Sing Se." Toph said as she spread her arms swide in celebration. "Worst ... city ... ever!"

"You said it!" I said with a large smile.

Just then two kids ran up one of them yelling Jet's name. Katara turned toJet angrily "I thought you said you didn't have your gang anymore!"

Jet looked at the kids, confused. "Don't!"

The girl runs up to Jet and hugs him. "We were so worried." She said "how did you get away from the Dai Li?"

Katata looked shocked "The Dai Li?!"

"I don't know what she's talking about!"

"He got arrested by the Dai Li a couple of weeks ago." The girl said "we saw them drag him away!"

"Why would I be arrested?" Jet asked "I've been living peacefully in the city!"

Toph bends down and feels the ground between Jet and the girl. "This doesn't make any sense. They're both telling the truth."

"That's impossible." Katara says.

"No it's not." I said with a frown "Toph can't tell who's lying because they both think they're telling the truth."

Sokka gasped (at least I assume he did) "Jet's been brainwashed!"

"That's crazy! It can't be!" Jet's eyes darted around frantically "stay away from me!" He yells as we all surround him.

We take Jet to an abandoned building and we all stand, surrounding a seated Jet. "The Dai Li must have sent Jet to mislead us," Katara said "and that janitor was part of their plot, too!"

"I bet they have Appa here in the city." I said.

Aang's eyes widened "maybe he's in the same place they took Jet!" He turned to Jet "where did they take you?"

"Nowhere! I-" Jet stammered "I don't know what you're talking about!"

"We need to find a way to jog his real memories," I said.

"Maybe Katara should kiss him." Sokka said with a teasing smile "that should bring something back!"

"Maybe you should kiss him, Sokka!" Katara shot back.

"Hey, just an idea!"

"A bad one," Aang said.

"Ooh, wait! I've got it!" Sokka said he then plucks a straw from a nearby mattress, pokes it into Jet's mouth.

"I don't think it's working." Jet says and spits it out.

"Try to think of something from your past that triggers your emotions," Toph suggested.

"The Fire Nation!" The girl, Smellerbee, said "remember what they did to your family!"

Close your eyes." Katara said "picture it."

Jet closes his eyes, while sweat beads start to form on his forehead. His eyes suddenly snap wide open "no! It's too painful!"

"Maybe this will help." She bends some water out of her flask and puts it around his ears, using her healing powers to help clear his mind.

We wait for a few minutes before Jet says "They took me to a headquarters under the water. Like a lake!"

"Wait!" Sokka said "remember what Joo Dee said? She said she went on vacation to Lake Laogai!"

Jet stands up. "That's it! Lake Laogai."
