Toph and I sat in the main room of the place we're staying in Ba Sing Se playing a board game. Sokka was on the other side of the room drawing missing posters to help us find Appa. Aang and Katara came in saying they had found someone to print the posters for us. And after some banter that I didn't pay attention to, Aang went out to hang up said posters.

When he came back he was looking excited. "I just finished dropping all the leaflets. Has anyone come in with news about Appa?"

"It's only been a day. Just be patient." Katara says and Aang sits down when there's a knock on the door. Of course, Aang runs off to open it.

"Wow, you're right! Patience really pays off!" He opens the door "Joo Dee?" I look up to see our host standing in the doorway.

"Hello, Aang, and Katara, and Sokka, Toph, and Anna," she says with a smile.

We approach her as Joo Dee enters. "What happened to you?" Sokka asks "did the Dai Li throw you in jail?"

"What? Jail? Of course not." She replies "the Dai Li are the protectors of our cultural heritage."

"But you disappeared at the Earth King's party," I said.

"Oh, I simply took a short vacation to Lake Laogai, out in the country." Joo Dee tells us "it was quite relaxing."

"But then they replaced you with some other woman who also said her name was Joo Dee," Katara tells her.

Joo Dee looks surprised "I'm Joo Dee."

"Why are you here?" Aang asks.

"Dropping fliers and putting up posters isn't permitted within the city. Not without proper clearance."

"We can't wait around to get permission for everything." Sokka retorts.

"You are absolutely forbidden by the rules of the city to continue putting up posters."

Aang glares at her and proceeds to, from my understanding, yell at her "we don't care about the rules and we're not asking permission! We're finding Appa on our own and you should just stay out of our way!" Joo Dee leaves and he slams the door.

"Wow..." I said "Aang, you know that we're most likely going to regret that."

Aang starts to calm down "I don't care! From now on, we do whatever it takes to find Appa!"

"Yeah, let's break some rules! " Toph destroys the side of the house with earthbending and I let out a cheer as well.
