Water came up over my head as I gasped for air, kicking my legs and flinging my arms trying to stay afloat. The next thing I knew someone had grabbed me and brought me to shore. Gasping for air I saw Suki standing above me, soaking wet. I think it was pretty clear who had saved me. "Are you okay?" She asked, being too panicked to focused on my "hearing" it took me several minutes to realise what she had said and I gave her a nod and stand up.

"There's the wall! Now it's nothing but smooth sailing to Ba Sing Se." Sokka says pointing.

"Oh no!" Ying lets out a groan in pain.

"What's worng?" Sokka asked a Toph wraps an arm around me, asking me if I'm alright I tell her that I am.

"The baby's coming!"

"What? Now?" Sokka said painking "can't you hold it in or something?"

I rolled my eyes "she's going into laybor, not pooping. She can't hold it in!"

"Sokka, calm down. I helped Gran-Gran deliver lots of babies back home." Katara said

"This isn't the same as delivering an arctic seal! This is a real ... human ... thing!" Sokka yelled, wait yelled? Huh maybe this "hearing with earth bending thing" is getting better!

"It's called a baby and I helped her deliver plenty of those, too." Katara told him before giving out orders. Aang, get some rags. Sokka, water. Toph, Anna, I need you to make an earth tent, a big one." The two of us earthbends the rock to form a tent "Suki, come with me." And the two older girls go inside the tent with Ying while the rest of us wait outside.

It takes a long while as we hear Katara say, "You're doing great, Ying. Sokka, where's that water? Now get ready to push. One ... two ... " Sokka goes into the tent ... three, push!" Sokka then passes out. Moments later, the baby arrives and begins to cry. "It's a girl!" We hear Katara say from inside.

We go inside to see a beatiful baby girl, Toph says that she sound healthy; or course I wouldn't know cause I couldn't hear but I do tell the new parents how beatiful she is and they smile at me, thanking us. "What should we name her?" Than asks.

"I want our daughter's name to be unique. I want it to mean something." Ying responds. Next to me Aang start to cry as he tells the couple about how he's been going thorugh a hard time and their new born baby gives him hope. And that is how the little girl gained her name, Hope.
