"I can't believe we gave up our tickets and now we're going through the Serpent's Pass." Sokka complained

"And I can't believe you're still complaining about it." Toph retorted

As we walked up to the Serpent's Pass we were joined by Sokka's "girlfriend." The we started down the pass the more worried I was for Aang; he said he was fine but with the why he was acting perhaps he wasn't. He even said that we should give up hope which did seem like him at all.

"The Fire Nation controls the western lake. Rumor has it they're working on something big on the other side of it and don't want anyone to find out what it is." Suki said

"What do you think they could be doing?" I asked

"Knowing the Fire Nation it could be anything" Sokka replied. We all passed by a sailing Fire Nation ship. A part of the rock had given out, causing Than to fall. Toph and I stopped it from falling and lifts him back up with our earthbending. "They've spotted us! Let's go, let's go!" Sokka cried Aang got on his glider and deflected the fireball back to the ship fired at us. Another fireball had hit the mountain, causing several pieces of rock over Suki to fall. Sokka pushed her out of the way. Toph and I bent out a part of the mountain, like a self, to keep the rocks from falling on Sokka. "Suki, are you okay? You have to be more careful! Come on!"

"Thanks for saving my life, Toph." My sister mocked "Hey, no problem, Sokka."

"I'm forever in your debt, Anna." I said, joining in "don't worry about, Sokka it's my pleasure!"

Later we were setting up camp for the night "Suki, you shouldn't sleep there. Who knows how stable this ledge is, it could give away at any moment!" Sokka said and he moved her sleeping bag.

"Sokka, I'm fine, stop worrying!" The warrior replied

"You're right, you're right, you're perfectly capable of taking care of yourself! Wait! Oh, never mind, I thought I saw a spider, but, you're fine."

"Over protective much?" I muttered to Toph and she gave a smirk in response.

I'm sitting watching the stars appear across the sky I sense someone coming up behind me before sitting next to me. "Hey," they said I turned to see Katara next to me "mind if I sit here?" she asked

I shook my head, "no your good." The two of us sit and silence for several moments; "Katara? I'm.. I'm I the only one who's noticed how... off Aang has been acting?"

She nodded "yes I have noticed.. I'm worried about him."

"I am too."

Katara looked at me "Anna! You can talk to him!"

"What?"

"You can talk to him and try and help him feel better!" She explained

"I.. I don't know, I'll think about it."

"Okay, have a good night." Katara said with a smile before heading off.

The next morning we all heading out once again, we reached a part where the path was sea level. Katara and Aang lead up through it, making an air bubble around us as we walked. A large shadow passes by through in the water, Toph and I made a pillar of earth and raised everyone out of the water. "I'll distract it. Katara, get everyone across!" Aang said before he took off on his glider.

Katara froze the water to create an icy path. Everyone except for Toph and I crossed it. The Water Bender tried to ice up the serpent, but she fails. "Toph, Anna! Come on, it's just ice!" Sokka yelled, my sister turned to me but I shook my head quietly.

"Actually, we're going to stay on our little island, where we can see and hear!" My twin yelled. The serpent took out half of our island.

"Okay, we're coming!" I took my sister's hand and slowly lead her across the ice. "We can do this, we can do this." I muted, mostly to myself. "Stay calm, stay calm." I tried to block out everything else, keeping my gaze on my feet and focused only on leading the two of us to safely. Just then in front of us the serpent dropped down unto the ice bridge and my body was involved by ice cold water.
