It's been a long year without talking with him... Yeah right, I know, He's not my classmate anymore, but everytime I see him performing on our school's stage...? He's just so cool! and everytime I hear their fans screaming like: "Aaah!! I love You Chris!!", "No Chris belongs to Amy!!", "No! Chris is mine!", "You b****!!! That song is for his Amy, right Chris my love!?!"

... Oh I almost forgot, no...

How could I forget this huh? They're always talkin' about this "ChriMy" (Chris and Amy, sounds like "Creamy") pairing blah blah blahh haha WHEREVER I GO *sigh* Amy is Chris' girlfriend as far as I know, and yep, Chris likes her too. Since I heard it from her fans... I just gotta go away again...

"He will never notice you Joy, Never Joy! You should go to the rooftop rather than staying here 'cuz you don't deserve it Joy!" Talking to myself again as I was at full speed walkin' away~

Chris' POV

It's really happy to see them cheering up our band! Specially when all of our fans keep pushing me to Amy haha... I like Amy so much... And I wish I could be her boyfriend, and this love song (Just the girl by The click five) I'm currently singing is dedicated to her xD I hope she could hear it... Oh Amy, the apple of my eyes...

Speaking of my eye, it begins to scan everywhere, looking for her while singing then strumming my guitar, but then, I noticed a girl at full speed walkin' away, But It isn't Amy... "Wait... is that...?!" I just said on my mind...

Joy's POV

"So here, Gotta go~ to the rooftop Joy~" *step, step, while thinking*

"There's no way I could be.... I mean... Oh Joy, stop thinking. There's no more before, besides, It's just from the past and everything has a change... So then Joy it's..." I said to myself as I finally got on the rooftop, looking at the stars and evening skies to feel calm...

"There's no way I could be like Amy... right Lord?... We are so much far have differences..." I smiled... "If this is a part of Your plan then I will place this in Your hands. Humbly I surrender this to You~" Wait, am I singing "Just a friend by Jamie Grace"? xD ... "Lord, May I sing here?" I said to Him on my mind as I smiled, began to close my eyes then started singing...

Chris' POV

After our band performance and yep Todd's turn, I quickly ran all over the Valleyview's corner to find the girl I saw a while ago to make sure if she was my bestfriend 'Joy Pepper'...

"So Where is she?"

I can't believe it, I traveled the whole school *laughs* Oh, I forgot the rooftop, but who's getting on the rooftop anyway? at this time huh? Forget it, I still have to *runs to the rooftop" Oh...

Joy's POV

Because I'm so much related to what I'm singing. I'm about to cry, but no way! Don't wanna cry here! *sings*

Chris' POV

Finally! Found ya'...! But wait...?

Should I cut her for a while? This isn't the last time I've seen her singing... There was a time I saw her walking at the skateboard park while singin the Salvation Poem haha.... So I held her left shoulder to make her turn into me and I was about to call her name but...

"Hey Jo- -! !"

Joy's POV

After singing then, I finally realized that

Someone held my left shoulder, made me feel shock 'n scared so I did slap him so hard!! Like a self-defense when someone's about to attack you, behind you... What? hahaha

"Waaah!! Who's thaAa!!!" I just said...

"Ouch!" He replied jumping while holding his right cheek, made his right eye a lil bit teary...

"Oh! *gasps* Ch... Chris? Is that y- -" he then cut me off

"How dare you! You never changed a bit! You're still as brutal as before!" He just said shouting but still holding his cheek while glaring at me...

"Ahhh! I'm sorry Chris!" I panicked that I put my left hand to his right cheek quickly...

"Ouch! Be careful!" He just said

"It was just a slap! Are you sure you are a boy!?" I replied while removing my hand...

"Forget it!" He sighed "Hey Joy, Do you mind joining as the vocalist of our band?"

"Eh... why?"

"Oh please, don't ask me! We have to win this battle for the last time! Besides, you slapped me so you have to pay for it!" He shouted

"I don't wanna, why don't you just invite your 'girlfriend'~ huh?" I stated girlfriend in a melodic way xD I just want to tease him.

"What?! She don't like singing, I can't force her! And besides... She's not YET even my 'girlfriend!'~" He said it in a melodic way too...

"huh? I thought..."

"But I'm planning to... that's why I need you...

"For what Chris?"

"Oh come on Joy! Do I need to explain it from the top? I thought you were some kind of genius~!? " *rolls eyes*

"Oh yeah! grr... and according to my senses, That behavior of YOURS is not the right thing to do when asking a favor?!! *turns back* He never changed a bit too, He's still stupid grr...

Chris' POV

Then my eyes widened "Oh sorry then! Please please please~ just join us! Please~" I pleaded...

"I don't like singing too!" She just said... Oh really? Now I'm getting mad at her grrr... I pouted

Joy's POV

Just to make this conversation end, he just needed me? talking because he only needs me... What a great excuse huh...? But why do I feel sad at the same time...?

Chris' POV

After a long long years without talking then this is it huh?! This is how she greet her childhood bestfriend? how stupid Joy... So what if...

"Oh come on! I saw you walking yesterday while singing the Salvation Poem without noticing people were actually looking at you~! Hahaha!" This must be effective!

Joy's POV

"I... yeah! But that doesn't mean I love singing!" I said as I blushed with embarrassment... But honestly, I love singing the Salvation Poem haha, Love You Lord xD

Chris' POV

"Oh, So you don't like the salvation poem too? You... don't... love... Go - -" she cut me off

"No no no!! Come on stop it! Okay okay! I'll join! But this isn't for You~! This is for God's sake! Got it?!"

My eyes have widened again 'cuz she is still into God, and that means... We both Love You GOD, so that means she stills remember our past, traveling with Gizmo and with Superbook!

"Really Joy? You'll join?" I said with an excitement (Joy, you'll join? oh... it rhymes... imma' great songwriter yey~)

Joy's POV

"Yeah yeah, now,, can I go now Chris? You're getting in my way" I replied, but why am I still feeling this cold breeze? so sad here at the same time... Is it because he talks me 'cuz he only needs me? No way... Why do I care if he doesn't care seeing me again? I just gotta go...

Chris' POV

I really missed this part of Joy, It's been a long time without talking with each other but I miss her so much, hmm... She seems sad. Well Of course, I will never ever forget that expression of hers specially when she feels so sad...

"Are you okay, Joy?" I said... worrying

Joy's POV

"Yeah, You're just blocking my way Chris, If you'll excuse then... May I go now?"

Chris' POV

(God, I don't know why but I really want her to join our band...)

"Hey! Outta my way! We're done talking right, are you alright?"

She said to me while waving her right hand near my eyes... Just like waking up the daydreamer

"Oh, uhm yeah! I mean.. you slapped me so I was hallucinating Joy!" I said angrily but in a kidding way hahaha...

"Oh, I'm really sorry Chris" She replied with a soft tone of voice...

"Oh iihsstop it Jooooy!"

I said while pinching her cheek... Treating her like pinching a very cute baby girl's cheek...

"It's gonna be alright Joy!! Yoy can do it!! You are Joy right, and Joy means Happiness~ " I smiled

Joy: *What? He must be talking about me, joining their band* Oh, I'm fine really... Thank you Chris *I smiled*

Chris: *Finally, she smiled* Really? So you are joining huh? promise me?

Joy: Hehe, yeah, promise! *smiles*

Chris: O_O :'D Yey!!! Thank you Joy! *hugs her tight cheerfully*

Joy: Whoahh! *eyes widened* Chris...! >_< I...I can't breathe, h... HEY!!!

Chris: *she's... so warm~*

Joy: Chris... s...stop it! You... you know, we're not "kids" anymore...

Chris: That is why :3 ...'Cuz I never hugged you when we were kids, And This is the first time Joy so lemme :3 *stroking her hair while hugging still* Yeah yeah... What shampoo have you used? xDD

Joy: *why am I feeling like he's taking too much advantage on me...* *pushing him away with force, caused him to let me free finally* Do it again and you'll be receiving my greatest punch!

Chris: Whoah Sorry, haha. Just my first time hugging you, promise! It's just too cold, and it happens that you're warm so...

Joy: I better go home now! I'm late! Bye Chris!! *about to pass through him so I could run away, but, he just stopped me by holding my hand, made me look in his eyes with wonder*

Chris: How rude... I'm not even finished to what I'm saying...

Joy: Is there anything you want to say? I really have to go...

Chris: Uh... *I wonder why but I can't just let her go, but... No choice, oh well* Already?! Joy!...

Joy: Huh? *looking innocently*

Chris: Promise me huh?!

Joy: *Oh yeah? Something's really wrong with him... I better catch with it* Yeah Promise! Do not worry so much Chris... *I smiled*

Chris: Yeah... *But No, I can't just let her go*

Joy: *So yeah, We're done talking then but he's still holding my hand* *Now I'm feeling nervous* Chris... Can you,, now.. let my hand go? *I said kiddingly but, afraid at the same time*

Chris: Uh... Joy...

Joy: Yeah? Ch... Chris are you okay? *then I'm about to realize that he's slowly putting his face close to mine, makes me feel so no choice but to look at his eyes too...* So... what.. now? Chris? *I don't know what to feel anymore. Just my heart, throbbing really fast waaaa I wanna go home!*

Chris: Promise me! Or else...! *I just said with an anger expression but in a kidding approach at the same time hehe*

Joy: *That expression of him made me feel a lil' bit comfortable so that I replied* Promise! Yeah yeah! Or else what?! Can I go now Chris???

Chris: No! You better join and win! Or else... I... w... will kiss you~ *realized what I've just said* Uh I mean li...like this one!... But this one is... a... uhm... just a warning got it?!! ... *looks away blushing* (what on earth am I doing?)

Joy: *God, He's blushing like a confessing kid, so cute xD* Then I better not to go and make your band lose *I said jokingly* !? *wait... what?!* *did I say what?! WaAAHH!!*

Chris: *My eyes widened, why did she say that? made me blush so hard then I shook my head* No!! Better Win Joy!!

Joy: okay hahaha, *I wish he couldn't hear it, So I just passed by him quickly* (Why did i say that...? Oh, forget it Joy...) Bye Chris!! *runs fastly* finally he let me go, he's so scary *I whispered while running away from him...*

Chris: God, she's cute... Wait what?! Who said CUTE!! No she's NOT!! CHRIS! Stop being crazy!! She's... she's just... Beautiful ... *I smiled then realized what I've said, Oh What kind of mind do I have...* WHAT!? She's not! Who said that huh?! She's not beautiful! Not even cute!! No!! She's no cute!!! Haha... right God? haha~ right....? *messing my hair* arRRrggh!!
