*Rapunzel's POV*
I woke up to a blinding light. I squinted my eyes, trying to see. I pushed my hand through my hair that now ended around my chin. What's going on? I started panicking, squirming in the bed, throwing blankets off of me. Soon, nurses swarmed around me, pushing me back into bed. "Where am I?" I cried with my hoarse throat.

"Please just stay calm." A nurse reasoned as she laid me back down.

"Where am I?" I pleaded, my voice cracking.

"Rapunzel! Baby, you're finally awake!" Mom cried as she came to my side, pushing nurses away.

"Mom?" I questioned.

"Rap! Oh my god!" Elisabeth, Jack's mom, shouted as she ran close to my bed.

"What's going on? What happened?" I demanded as I looked around the room, seeing familiar faces crowd around my bed.

"Honey, don't you remember anything?" Mom questioned. I slowly shook my head. Nothing was processing through my head. Mom's eyes started to swell with tears. "Baby, you were in an accident."

"When? How long was I asleep?"

"You've only been asleep for the night." Elisabeth explained.

"It happened when you guys were coming back from Webster." Mom frowned.

"Why was I in Webster?"

"For Kristoff's meet." Mom smiled. Suddenly, I was remembering bits and pieces.

~Flashback~

"I'm so excited for tonight! Kristoff is going to kick Hans butt!" I cheered as I sat in the front seat of Eugene's car.

"I hope so." Merida chuckled from behind me.

"If Hans wins, which is very unlikely, then Merida will personally beat him up." Hiccup smiled.

"Everyone knows Kristoff is the best weight lifter our school has ever seen. There's no doubt he'll win." Eugene cheered as he drove down the interstate towards Webster.

"Okay, are Elsa and Jack a thing now or what?" I asked. Elsa had willing offered to ride with Jack since there wasn't enough room in Eugene's pickup. Anna was riding with the cheerleaders since it was her night to cheer.

"I think so." Merida answered.

"I mean, I totally ship them! Anna came up with Jelsa and I think it is perfect." I rambled.

"You've shipped Jack with Elsa for a long time." Eugene chuckled.

"I know, but Anna comes up with all the ship names. She came up with Jelsa, Merricup, and Eugenzel." I explained.

"Since when?' Hiccup asked.

"Since forever!"

"Ours is lame." Eugene frowned.

"Not my fault we have very difficult names to try to ship together. I mean, it's pretty easy to put Jack and Elsa together." I replied as we drove into the school parking lot.

"Webster Bearcats." Hiccup read.

"They're about to get crushed." Merida smirked. We walked into the school and took our seats in the stands waiting for Jack and Elsa to arrive.

"What's taking them so long?" Hiccup asked.

"They're probably making out." Eugene shrugged. I shot him a glare and he just smiled. Soon, Elsa and Jack took a seat beside us, still wearing their winter coats.

"Sorry guys! We're late because Jack over here had to stop for a bathroom break." Elsa smiled.

"We stopped because I wanted a snack." Jack frowned.

"Sure." Elsa smirked.

"When does Kristoff lift?" Merida asked.

"No clue. But while we wait, Eugene, will you go get us some popcorn?" I asked.

"No."

"Please!" I begged.

"Only if you come with." Eugene agreed. I groaned and stood up, taking everyone's money so I could buy them a bag of popcorn.

"So, what do you think about Hans?" I asked as we waited in line at the concession stand.

"I already told you I thought he was creepy." Eugene replied.

"Do you really think Anna and him are a good match?"

"I don't know. Why are you so worried about this? It's Anna's problem, not yours."

"I know."

"Look, things will be just fine."

"I just really ship Kristanna!"

"Did Anna make that one too?"

"No, Elsa and I did." I explained. Eventually we got the six bags of popcorn and went back to our friends. We had fun too sing popcorn in the air and catching it in the air. Jack even threw a few into Elsa's mouth. Soon, Kristoff lifted and won.

"I'm so glad he won." Merida stated.

"Me too!" I cheered as I put my hands into my pockets.

"Why wouldn't he?" Eugene asked as he started his truck. It was absolutely freezing that Friday night. We drove out of the parking lot and were speeding down the interstate, talking about things we were excited for, Christmas and New Years Eve.

"Jack should have a party at his house." Merida smirked.

"Yeah, his house is big enough." Hiccup reasoned. I looked over at Eugene and saw he wasn't wearing his seatbelt. When will that child learn?

"Eugene."

"What Rap?"

"Seatbelt."

"Rapunzel, I don't need to wear this."

"You never know, it could save your life."

"Fine, only because it will make you feel better." Eugene groaned as he buckled his seatbelt.

"That guy's lights are blinding me!" Merida whined.

"What is he-" Hiccup started as I cut him off with a scream. After that, everything is black.

~End of flashback~

*Hiccup's POV*
I woke up in a white bed with Jack, Elsa, and Anna swarming my bed. I looked around and realized I wasn't in my bed. I looked at my arm and saw an IV. "What's happening?' I croaked.

"Hiccup, thank god you're okay!" Elsa sighed, placing her hand over her mouth.

"You didn't answer my question."

"Hic-" Jack started,

"Where is everyone?" I demanded.

"Most of them are in Rapunzel's room. She just woke up too. Your parents are grabbing some lunch." Anna explained.

"What happened?" I cried.

"Hic, you were in an accident." Jack frowned.

"Where's Mer?" I begged.

"She hasn't woke up yet." Elsa replied with tears swelling in her blue eyes.

"I have to find her!" I shouted as I ripped out my IV. Everyone cringed, watching it fling across the room.

"Hiccup!" Elsa called as I stood up to get out of bed. I fell to the floor, smashing my shoulder onto the ground. I looked at my legs and realized only one of my feet were cold. I started shaking as I looked at my left foot. I'm an amputee. I felt the heat leave my face.

"Hiccup!" Jack cried.

"Nurse! Help we need a nurse!" Anna yelled in the hallway. Elsa quickly helped me back into my bed.

"Hiccup, you're going to be okay. I promise." Elsa assured.

"Elsa, you don't understand. I'm an amputee. Nothing will ever be the same again." I replied as I started at the checkered tiles.

"Hiccup, calm down. Your blood pressure is rising." Elsa commanded. Suddenly, two nurses came in and laid me back down. They replaced my IV and made sure I was stable again.

"How did this happen?" I asked.

"You were in an accident." Anna calmly repeated again.

"No. I mean, how was I in an accident?" I changed.

"You were coming back from Webster-" Jack started as memories came back.

"Eugene was driving." I mumbled.

"What?" Elsa asked.

"Eugene was the driver." I said louder. Everyone's faces fell. "He's the reason I'm like this." I replied, furrowing my eyebrows together.

"Hiccup, it's not like that." Anna replied.

"How isn't it?" I shouted, making everyone flinch.

"Hiccup! Thank the gods you're okay!" Mom cried as she enveloped me into a hug.

"Hiccup! You're alive!" Dad shouted as he joined in.

*Merida's POV*
I quickly blinked my eyes open. I woke up surrounded my pure white. Where am I? I slowly moved my head around. I tried to sit up but hissed at the pain that surged through my left arm. So I'm not dead. I ran my hand through my snarly red hair. I sat there for what felt like forever, until I heard my dad's booming voice. "Merida! My strong lass!" Dad cheered.

"Merida! Darling, you're awake!" Mum smiled as she placed their meals on the table.

"Where am I?" I asked.

"Dear, you're in the hospital." Mum replied.

"What?" I gasped. How did I get here?

"But it's okay, all that matters is that you're alive." Mum cheered as she brought me into a hug. I returned it, but couldn't help think about everyone else.

"Where's Hiccup?" I questioned.

"He's still in his room. It's okay, he woke up about an hour ago." Dad answered.

"He got hurt too?" I asked.

"Well yeah. You were in the same car." Hubert sighed.

"Hubert! Leave your sister alone! She just woke up. She probably doesn't remember anything." Mum scolded.

"What am I supposed to remember?" I demanded.

"Lassie, you were in an accident." Dad frowned.

"Who was with me?" I asked. I figured I was the cause of the incident, so I wanted to know who I hurt.

"Hiccup, Rapunzel, and Eugene." Mum replied.

"When did this happen?" I questioned.

"Last night when you were coming back from Webster." Dad frowned. What happened?
