Wee lamb
*Eugene's POV*
I woke up earlier than I usually do because I was cold. Stupid winter. I rolled over and saw Rapunzel was gone. Where is she? I looked at my phone to see what time it was. 6:13! I've only had two hours of sleep?! "Rapunzel!" I whispered. "Rapunzel!' I said a little louder. I heard a voice singing and the shower running. I listened closer and heard Rapunzel.
"And at last I see the light!" Rapunzel sang. Weird, I've never heard that song before. Suddenly, the shower stopped and she stopped singing. I closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep. I heard the door squeak open and felt a shadow fall over my eyes. "Eugene, I know you're awake so don't look while I'm changing." Rapunzel commanded. I opened my eyes and saw her looking at me with a towel wrapped around her body, water dripping off her hair.
"Rapunzel, why did you wake me up?" I teased.
"Look the other way." Rapunzel groaned as she went to her side of the bed. I laughed and looked the other way. "By the way, I knew you were awake because I heard you calling my name." Rapunzel informed.
"You scared me." I chuckled.
"Sorry. You know I'm an early riser." Rapunzel giggled.
"What was that song you were singing?" I asked.
"Just a song I made up. Nothing important." Rapunzel replied. She finished changing and went back into the bathroom to fix her hair and makeup.
"Need me to braid your hair?" I yawned as I stretched in bed.
"Yes please!" Rapunzel cheered. Rapunzel made all of us learn how to braid when we were kids because she couldn't do her own hair. She made us practice on her dolls. It was tortuous but it has helped us in the long run. Rapunzel ran over and sat in front of the bed.
"What do you want?" I groaned.
"Fishtail." Rapunzel smiled. I chuckled and started braiding. Eventually I finished and looked at the clock. 6:47.
"Well, I'm going back to bed." I said as I rolled over in the bed.
"Okay, I'm going to go make breakfast. I'll be back." Rapunzel said as she kissed me on the cheek. She walked out the door and quietly shut it. I shut my eyes and fell asleep. I woke up to the sound of Rapunzel laughing.
"What?" I yawned as I watched her giggle on the bed.
"You were talking in your sleep." Rapunzel giggled.
"What did I say?" I asked.
"Fate be changed. Look inside. Mend the bond torn by pride." Rapunzel said, mocking my deep voice.
"Fate be changed. Fate be changed." I grumbled as I got up and looked around for a piece of paper.
"What's wrong?" Rapunzel asked worriedly. I grabbed a piece of paper from out of my bag and quickly wrote down what I said.
"Nothing. Just something for one of my books." I replied.
"Which one?" Rapunzel asked.
"Can't tell." I smirked.
"You're mean. Anyways, I came to tell you that breakfast is ready." Rapunzel smiled as she ruffed my hair. I followed out of the room and came across everyone sitting at the table eating pancakes.
"Rapunzel, this is delicious!" Merida cheered as she stuffed her face full of pancakes. I sat at the table next to Kristoff and grabbed myself some food. I poured on the sticky syrup. All we heard was the sound of everyone munching on their food.
"So Eugene, did you and Rapunzel sleep well last night?" Jack asked.
"I know I slept okay. How did you sleep Rapunzel?" I asked, trying not to let them know she stayed in my room.
"I slept wonderful. I didn't wake up once. Right, Elsa?" Rapunzel asked.
"You didn't sleep with Elsa!" Jack laughed.
"Yes she did." I lied.
"Yeah, and that's why you have all of this blonde hair on you." Jack laughed as he pulled hair off of me. It all shed onto me when I was braiding her hair this morning.
"You got me." I chuckled.
"Rapunzel, why didn't you come back last night?" Elsa wondered.
"You never came and got me." Rapunzel smiled. Elsa seemed to be thinking it over when her eyes got as wide as saucers.
"Oh my god! I'm soooo sorry Punzie!" Elsa apologized.
"It's okay. It's not like I spent the night with a complete stranger." Rapunzel assured.
"Well at least you guys slept good. I kept waking up to Ms. Droolface on my side of the bed." Merida complained.
"It's not my fault I'm a sleep drooler and a sleep talker." Anna defended.
"Or a sleep walker." Elsa added.
"Don't forget about bed hog and her bed head!" Merida snorted. They all continued talking about who wakes up what way when Kristoff leaned over and whispered in my ear.
"Hopefully Anna's sleeping problems will disgust Hans." Kristoff whispered.
"Yeah, hopefully." I chuckled. It suddenly got quiet and I blurted out a thought that had been bugging me all morning.
"Curly, what's one animal that scares you the most?" I blurted.
"Bears." Merida said looking at her plate.
"Why?" I asked. I was making mental notes so I could write my books. I'm making my books about each person's life but in different scenarios. Like Merida's story will take place in Scotland and she'll be a princess. Elsa and Anna will be two princesses torn apart from Elsa's deep secret which will eventually pull them together and so on with the others.
"My dad got in a freak bear accident when I was a wee lad." Merida answered.
"Wee lad." Jack whispered, trying to hold in his laughter.
"Ey wee lamb." Merida said, making Jack pout.
"What happened?" Rapunzel asked. She was always very curious. The boys and I always told Rapunzel her eyes were so big and bright because they were filled with curiosity and wonder.
"My family and I were walking in the woods on our favorite path. This took place way before the triplets were born. Anyways, we were having a jolly good time when I spotted a bear. We slowly backed up, trying to get away from the black beast. The bear felt threatened, so he attacked. My dad told my mum to run and go get help. My mum picked me up and ran, leaving my dad behind. Help came and found my dad with one of his legs clean off. Now, he's an amputee. He always tells us this tale at the dinner table. The boys and I have it memorized." Merida chuckled.
"That's such a scary story, but I'm glad it ended well." Rapunzel smiled.
"What kind of animals live in Norway?" I asked, changing the subject.
"Why are you asking such weird questions?" Hiccup laughed.
"No reason. But does anyone know what animals live in Norway?" I asked again.
"Let me check!" Anna cheered as she searched it on her phone. "Reindeers." Anna smiled.
"What kind of dogs attack bunnies?" I asked.
"What the? Why do you need to know that?" Kristoff exclaimed.
"Just answer the question." I glared.
"Grey hounds." Jack replied.
"Thanks. I'll be back." I said as I rose from the table. I quickly went to my room and wrote down some quick notes for my books. Last night before I went to bed, I added tons of stuff. I had a notebook for every since book. So I added bears in the Brave notebook, along with what I said in my sleep. I added grey hounds to Rise of the Guardians and I added reindeer to Frozen. I smiled and put them away.
*Merida's POV*
Why is Eugene asking all of these stupid questions? And why did he randomly leave? "Rap, what's going on with your boyfriend?" I asked.
"It probably has something to do with his books." Rapunzel answered.
"With his books?" Hiccup asked.
"I don't know. He won't tell me. He wants to keep it a secret." Rapunzel grumbled.
"Dang it! Then we'll never get it out of him." Jack said frustrated. Why?
"He's so stubborn." Kristoff said, answering my unspoken question.
"Okay then. So, what are we going to do today?" I asked.
"Do you want to build a snowman?" Anna sang.
"Come on let's go and play!" Elsa sang back. I will never understand why they randomly burst out in song. It was like some weird sister thing. They burst out laughing as the rest of us stared at them confused. Soon, Eugene came back and acted like nothing happened.
"So what did you have to do?" Jack questioned.
"Nothing." Eugene lied. Even I could tell he was lying and I hardly know him.
"Liar." I fake coughed. I felt him give me his death glare, which I returned by scrunching up my nose and eyes.
"So what are we going to do today?" Eugene asked, changing the subject.
"Let's go to the fields!" Rapunzel cheered.
"Yeah! I think we have some sleds in the closet." Jack cheered as he ran down the hallway.
"Da fields?" I asked, accidentally letting out my Scottish accent. I've always been embarrassed by it.
"Yeah, it's our favorite place to hang out in the winter." Kristoff replied.
"And summer!" Rapunzel yelled as she put on a winter coat and some gloves.
"I found the sleds!" Jack yelled as he carried out four sleds.
"There's only four." Elsa said.
"We can take turns." Anna added.
"Or we can have two people ride together. Whichever you like." Rapunzel smirked.
"Who's riding with me?" Eugene asked.
"Me!" Rapunzel jumped.
"I will." I said.
"I'll go too." Hiccup said, smiling at me. We hopped into Eugene's pickup and drove to the fields.
"What do these fields look like?" I asked.
"Well, they'll be covered in snow now and there's this-" Rapunzel started until Eugene covered her mouth.
"You'll see." Eugene smirked. Suddenly Rapunzel gagged, pushing Eugene's hand away.
"Your glove tastes horrible!" She said as she wiped her tongue.
"It's a glove. You really thought it would taste good?" Eugene chuckled.
"I forgot you were wearing gloves so I was going to lick your hand, but as you can tell that went horribly wrong." Rapunzel explained.
"Oh Punzie!" Hiccup laughed. Rapunzel leaned over and kissed Eugene on the cheek. Why is she always showing him so much affection?
"Ya know, I never see you two kiss. Why?" Eugene asked as he looked into the rear view mirror to look at us.
"We kiss, you just never see it." I explained.
"Prove it." Eugene smirked. I grabbed Hiccup's coat collar and pulled it to me. We kissed like we always do. We kissed for a long time until I heard Eugene mumble something.
"What was that Fitzherbert?" I smirked.
"Nothing." Eugene replied.
"Did we prove you wrong?" Hiccup chuckled.
"Yes." Eugene laughed. Eventually we go tot the fields. Eugene parked the pickup and we followed Rapunzel and him to wherever we were going.
"Here's the field!" Rapunzel grinned as she showed us a huge hill. Oh yes, this is going to be fun!
*Rapunzel's POV*
"Here's the field!" I grinned as I showed off our hangout. I could tell that Merida and Hiccup loved it.
"I call the first sled!" Merida cheered as she tackled Jack as he came around the corner. She ripped a sled out of his hands and placed it on the ground and settled herself onto the sled.
"I'm coming!" Hiccup exclaimed as he hopped on the back of Merida's sled.
"Here we go!" Merida yelled as the plummeted down the hill, screaming at the top of their lungs. I looked over and saw Eugene sneakily steal a sled from Jack who was heavily guarding them.
"Let's go Blondie!" Eugene yelled as he sat down on the sled. I quickly hopped on as Jack yelled at Eugene.
"Bye Jack!" I laughed as I waved goodbye. We slid down the hill, laughing and screaming. When we reached the bottom, we flew off the sled, landing on top off Merida and Hiccup. They weren't even mad. They laughed and called the others down. Jack came down with Elsa. She was holding on for dear life to Jack with her eyes shut as tight as they could go. She was so scared that she didn't even scream. Next came Anna and Kristoff. Anna was laughing and bouncing on the sled as Kristoff tried to calm her down, but he just ended up falling off and rolling down the hill. We continued this all day. We even built two snowmen, which we named Marshmallow and Olaf, after Anna's and Elsa's cat. Soon, our faces were cold from the wind and cold temperatures. We headed back to the cabin and drank hot chocolate and watched a couple movies.

Thanks for reading! Sorry about not updating lately. I've been watching the movies over again so I can try to understand the characters better. I've watched all of them except How to Train Your Dragon. But in the latest news, I made a new book called Married at First Sight. If any of you are really good at making covers and want to make one, I'm looking for help. I'll give you the credit! I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
