Kiss the chef

*Rapunzel's POV*
I ran to mine and Elsa's room. I quickly jumped onto the bed, sending the pillows flying. The room had a queen sized bed, a closet, and a couple of chairs. It also had two dressers, perfect for Elsa and me. "I call the brown dresser!" I giggled as I got off the bed and ran towards it.
"Then I get the black one." Elsa laughed. We unpacked and went back downstairs. When we got down there, we saw everyone else waiting for us.
"Finally! You guys took forever!" Merida whined.
"Oh hush. Now, what are we going to do?" Elsa asked.
"It's Eugene's birthday." Jack smirked as all of us looked at Eugene. As usual, he was stuffing his face with food, not paying attention to us.
"What?" He asked with his mouth full.
"What do you want to do?" Hiccup asked.
"I don't care." Eugene shrugged.
"Well, what time is it?" I asked.
"Almost seven o'clock. Why?" Kristoff questioned.
"I should get started on dinner. What do you want birthday boy? Or are you planning on eating chips for the rest of the night?" I teased as I elbowed Eugene.
"Pizza!" Eugene cheered as he spun around on his bar stool.
"Homemade or store bought?" I smirked.
"Delivery!" Merida cheered.
"No. Homemade!" Eugene smiled as he spun around again.
"Alright. Who wants to help?" I smiled as I opened the fridge. I was answered by silence. "I'll take that as no one." I huffed.
"Sorry. I don't make the food, I just eat it." Merida laughed.
"I'll try." Elsa chuckled as she ran to my side.
"Curly?" Eugene asked.
"Wha?" Merida grumbled.
"Did you get me a gift?" Eugene smirked.
"No. Why would I get you a gift?" Merida asked as she crossed her arms.
"Because I'm your gorgeous friend. Anyways, since you didn't get me a gift, I want you to help Blondie and Snowflake make dinner." Eugene laughed.
"Only if everyone else helps." Merida compromised.
"Deal." Eugene smirked. I grabbed an apron out of the drawer and threw it at Eugene. It landed on his head, covering his face. "Who threw that?" Eugene asked.
"Merida." I lied.
"Not it wasn't! It was your girlfriend!" Merida shouted. Eugene laughed as he took it off his face.
"Oooo! Kiss the chef. I see what you're getting at Blondie." Eugene smirked as he wiggled his eyebrows.
"Does it really say that?" I asked.
"You bet your bottom dollar it does." Eugene laughed as he showed me the apron.
"Just put it on and get to work." I laughed as I hit him with the apron.
"Kristoff! Jack! Hiccup!" Eugene yelled.
"What!?" They groaned form the living room.
"You have to come help cook." Eugene chuckled.
"Really?" Kristoff asked.
"Really." Elsa answered. I grabbed out two pans and placed them on the table. Elsa, Anna, and I made the dough while the boys and Merida cut up the ingredients.
"Should we really trust Jack with a knife?" Anna asked.
"I'm sure it will be fine." I smiled.
"Oww! Jack!" Kristoff yelled as he kissed his finger.
"What?" Jack smirked.
"You cut me with a knife, bastard!" Kristoff hissed.
"It was an accident." Jack snickered.
"Whatever. You did it on purpose!" Kristoff shouted.
"I'm clumsy." Jack shrugged.
"Liar." Kristoff muttered.
"Just go get a bandaid out of the bathroom and quit being such a baby." Merida demanded.
"It hurts!" Kristoff whined.
"Really? Kristoff crying because he got a wittle cut on his finger?" Hiccup teased.
"Does this look little?" Kristoff asked as he showed us his finger. We all looked and saw a huge cut from the base of finger to the tippy top. It was bleeding out a lot.
"Jackson Overland Frost." I scolded.
"I didn't think I cut it that bad." Jack replied.
"Just don't get any blood in the food." Merida replied.
"Why? It would be like a natural food coloring." Eugene chuckled. We all looked at him in horror.
"Are you like some type of vampire?" Hiccup asked.
"No! I'm just kidding around. Learn how to take a joke!" Eugene laughed. We all shuttered and went back to the matter at hand.
"Here, let's go to the bathroom and clean up your wound." I said as I led Kristoff to the closest bathroom.
"And what do you know about cleaning wounds?" Kristoff asked.
"You've met her mother." Jack and Eugene said. I giggled and opened up the cabinet above the sink.
"Hydrogen peroxide, hydrogen peroxide, Ahhh there you are." I mumbled as I quickly snatched it out of the cabinet. I opened a drawer and found some cotton balls, triple antibiotic cream, and a bandaid. I quickly poured some hydrogen peroxide on a cotton ball and grabbed Kristoff's hand.
"Wait, wait, wait. Doesn't this stuff burn?" Kristoff asked nervously.
"It will only sting a little." I assured.
"You better not be lying." Kristoff threatened.
"You know I'm a bad liar." I replied.
"No you're not." Kristoff frowned. As he was distracted, I quickly rubbed the cotton ball over the wound. Kristoff cried out in pain.
"Sorry, just a little bit more." I sympathetically smiled. I finished and looked to make sure Kristoff was okay. "Okay, now I'm going to rub this cream on it. It will help soothe it." I said.
"You sure? Because that didn't sting a little, it stung a lot." Kristoff frowned. I nodded and rubbed the cream on his wound. I watched his face relax as I rubbed it in. I put a bandaid over it and called it good.
"There, all better." I smiled.
"Thanks!" Kristoff smiled as he looked over his finger. We walked back into the kitchen and saw Eugene cheering on Jack as he tried to eat all of the pepperoni meat in one bite.
"One more! One more!" Eugene chanted at Jack. Jack shoved the last slice into his mouth and shot his hands in the air. Everyone else stood in the background, watching in disgust as he fit a whole pack of pepperonis in his mouth.
"What do you think you're doing?!" I exclaimed. Eugene and Jack looked at me nervously.
"Nothing, Blondie." Eugene nervously chuckled.
"I guess we won't be having any pepperoni pizza tonight." Kristoff groaned.
"Thanks Jack." Merida sighed. Jack looked around, not sure where to spit out his mouthful of soggy pepperonis.
"Don't spit anywhere near the food!" Elsa warned as Jack walked towards the sink. All of us listened as he gagged them up.
"Alright you have to admit, it was pretty awesome." Eugene smiled.
"I'll admit that it was pretty disgusting." Elsa fired back.
"Everyone's got different opinions." Eugene shrugged. Elsa groaned, annoyed at what just happened.
"I guess Jack's plan of impressing you isn't going out well." Kristoff smirked. All of us looked at him, stunned at what he just said. Eugene shook it off.
"Yeah, sorry Jack. Guess you'll have to find another girl. I'm pretty sure Tonya's still free." Eugene teased.
"Yuck! Let's not talk about her tonight." Jack replied as he rolled his eyes.
"Then we'll talk about her tomorrow." Anna smirked.
"No. Let's never talk about her again." Jack glared.
"Why? Afraid you made the wrong choice about breaking up with her?" Hiccup added.
"Ya know Hiccup, for being a nerd, you have awesome comebacks." Eugene smirked.
"I know." Hiccup smiled. Well, at least that's solved.
"Hey Kristoff." Merida said.
"Hmm?" Kristoff hummed.
"Why were you screaming like a little girl a couple minutes ago?" Merida smirked.
"She put hydrogen peroxide on my finger." Kristoff replied. Everyone tried not to laugh. "Hey! It burns!" Kristoff defended.
"I never thought a strong guy like you would be hurt by a little cleaning chemical." Elsa teased. Soon, we finished making the pizzas and put them in the oven. As we were putting the ingredients away, I felt something cold land in my hair. I touched it and felt flour. I looked and saw Jack grinning like an idiot.
"Jack." I scolded.
"Lighten up." Jack chuckled as he threw some more at me. I reached into the flour jar and threw some back. Soon, everyone was in on this huge flour fight. Everyone had it in their hair, all over their clothes and faces, even in our shoes. We were right in the middle of the fight when the timer went off. Eugene put on some oven mitts and pulled out the pizzas. We all stopped, taking a huge breath to smell the delicious pizza we made. I went and cut up the pizzas and put a couple slices on a few plates. Eugene and I handed them out as everyone went to sit at the table. We were the only ones in the kitchen. Eugene reached behind me and kissed me on the cheek.
"What was that for?" I smirked.
"To see if you would remember to kiss the chef." Eugene smiled. I quickly pecked him on the lips and grabbed myself a plate of pizza.
"Hey lovebirds! Are you coming or what?" Jack yelled. We laughed and ran to the table.
"I hope you two weren't making out in there." Merida grumbled.
"No, just one little kiss." I smiled. She rolled her eyes and went back to shoving her pizzas into her mouth.
"You know what would be cool." Anna said.
"What?" We asked.
"If all of us were dating someone from this group. I mean, not that I like anyone here. Not that I hate you guys, you guys are awesome! It's just that I kinda like someone else, but it would be awesome, wouldn't it?" Anna quickly asked. We all looked at her, confused at how fast she could blab her mouth.
"Run that by me again?" Eugene asked.
"Wouldn't it be awesome if we dated someone from this group. You and Punzie are dating, Hiccup and Merida have been dating since freshman year. What if the rest of us dated?" Anna questioned.
"Are you trying to say you like someone at this table?" Jack asked.
"No, no, no. I like someone else. Someone not from this group." Anna replied.
"It better not be that idiot Hans." Kristoff groaned.
"What's so wrong with him?" Anna asked looking offended.
"It's just that he's a little bit....oh what's the word?" I mumbled.
"Creepy." Jack said.
"A jerk." Eugene added.
"A liar." Elsa replied.
"Don't forget cheater." Kristoff rolled his eyes.
"Everyone has flaws." Anna replied.
"Yeah, and he has some of the worst." Merida grumbled.
"I don't care. He told me he's over come them." Anna defended.
"Whatever, it's your life." Hiccup said.
"Anna, we're just trying to protect you." Elsa replied.
"That's all you ever do! You watch over my life like a hawk stalking its prey! You always make sure I do this or that, that I'm always getting good grades, that I'm behaving well in school. God, you're like my second mom! Every time I'm going to do something fun or risky, you come in and stop me. Don't you think I'm old enough to make my own decisions?" Anna shouted.
"Anna, calm down." Merida said.
"No! You guys never listen to me! I want to make my own choices! Let me live my life. I never stop you guys from doing anything, so why do you stop me? Is it because I'm too young? Am I too immature? God, what is it?!" Anna exclaimed.
"It's all of the above! You aren't experienced enough to know when to stop. You're too immature to decide who to go out with. You're only a sophomore!" Elsa yelled as she stood from the table.
"I don't have enough experience? Gee, I wonder why. I know, it's because I'm always chained down to you! You never do anything fun or risky. You always make the right choices! You never make mistakes! And when you do, you always know how to fix it. You're like this human robot who doesn't have feelings!" Anna cried.
"I'm only trying to protect you from the evil in this world!" Elsa defended.
"The evil in the world? What evil? The world is a beautiful, wonderful place. Why do you think there's nothing like it in the universe?" Anna questioned.
"I don't know. But I know evil when I see it, and I know Hans isn't who you think he is." Elsa warned.
"Then who is he? Have you ever had a real conversation with him? Or have you just heard the rumors?" Anna asked. Elsa looked around, trying to ask us for help. We all looked downcast, trying not to make eye contact. She huffed and realized she had to continue this terrible argument by herself.
"I've only heard what I needed to hear and it's not good. Anna be realistic, he's just playing you to get something he wants. He doesn't love you!" Elsa scoffed. Anna backed up, feeling hurt. She looked around with tears in her eyes.
"Really? And what would you know about love?" Anna asked.
"More than you." Elsa fired back.
"That's only because you've never let me date anyone!" Anna shouted.
"Look, I think we can all agree that Hans is creepy and isn't for you." Elsa said.
"What do you guys think?" Anna asked. We all ignored the question, since we agreed with Elsa and didn't want to get involved. "Of course you all agree with Elsa. I mean, none of you know what it's like to be the younger sibling. All of you are either the oldest or don't have any siblings!" Anna shouted.
"Guys, let's just-" I started as Eugene covered my mouth while they went back to arguing.
"Just let them figure this out on their own. It's their problem, not ours." Eugene whispered. I nodded, but it didn't feel right to let them yell at each other.
"Eugene's right. They hardly ever fight, but when they do it's horrible. We just need to let them get their anger out and cool down. Then everything will be back to normal." Merida added. We watched them scream and shout at each other. Eventually, they slammed their doors shut.
"So, what do you guys want to do now?" Eugene asked, trying to wipe away the last few minutes.
"I'm going to talk with Anna." Kristoff said as he stood up from the table.
"I'm going talk with Elsa." I added.
"No, no. Give them their space." Hiccup said, jumping in our way.
"Nuh, uh." Kristoff refused as he pushed past Hiccup. Merida then jumped in the way.
"Ya huh." Merida defended.
"No, we're going to talk with them." I replied as I looked over Kristoff's shoulder.
"No you're not. I know Elsa and Anna better than both of you and you need to let them cool off." Merida growled. I looked at Kristoff and saw his face scrunch up.
"I think you forgot who you were talking to." I smirked.
"I'm talking to you and Kristoff." Merida huffed.
"No, you're talking the most determined girl and the school's best heavyweight lifter." I grinned as Kristoff pushed Merida to the side.
"Hey!" Merida shouted as we ran past. We quickly opened the doors and slammed them shut again. I quickly locked the door so Merida couldn't get in. I walked over to the bed, looking at Elsa as she cried her heart out.
"Hey Elsa." I greeted as I sat on the bed next to her.
"Hey Rapunzel. Sorry for ruining the party." Elsa frowned.
"Oh no, you didn't ruin the party. We still have the whole weekend." I smiled.
"Yeah, but I yelled at Anna." Elsa sniffed.
"It's okay, fights happen to everyone." I replied.
"I guess. But have you ever had a fight over who your sister should date?" Elsa asked.
"Actually, Jack and I got in fight over if I should date Jacob." I chuckled.
"What happened?" Elsa begged.
"Jack told me I shouldn't date him. According to Jack, he was a lying cheater. I thought otherwise. I thought Jacob was a handsome, sweet boy. Jack and I fought and eventually, we decided that I could date him if I wanted to. As you can tell, I'm not dating him anymore." I replied.
"Why?" Elsa asked.
"Turns out Jacob was a lying cheater. He cheated on me with Sophie. I was heartbroken. But the first person to comfort me after we broke up was Jack."
"Why did Jack let you date Jacob if he knew Jacob would break your heart?" Elsa sniffed.
"He did it because he knew I needed to find out for myself. He knew that I wouldn't believe him. He knew Jacob would break my precious heart, but he knew it was for the best. I mean, I learned my lesson. I know who to watch out for and who I can trust to hold my heart."
"So, so what you're saying is that I have to let Anna date Hans, even if I know that he'll crush her heart into tiny pieces?"
"Yeah, she'll learn from it. But you'll have to be the first one to comfort her when it happens. Don't say anything along the lines of, "I told you so," or "You should have listened to me," because it won't make it better." I smiled.
"Okay. Thanks Rap. I'll go tell her she can date Hans." Elsa smiled as she walked towards the door.
*Anna's POV*
I ran to my room and slammed the door shut. I laid down on my bed and huffed out my hot, angry breath. I heard shouting out in the halls but ignored it. Why would Elsa do this to me? She doesn't know Hans. She's only thinking about herself. "Hey." Kristoff suddenly said, making me jump.
"You scared me." I growled.
"Sorry." Kristoff replied. He sat next to me on the bed.
"Why are you in here with me? Why are you out there with friends enjoying Eugene's birthday?" I asked.
"For one, it was a little awkward after your fight." Kristoff listed.
"Oh, sorry." I awkwardly giggled.
"Secondly, it wouldn't have been a party without you." Kristoff added.
"Without me? I'm not a party person. I'm a stand in the corner and watch everyone else party kind of girl." I argued.
"No you're not! That's Elsa. You're the one who talks people into doing crazy stuff." Kristoff laughed.
"I guess, but that doesn't change the fact that Elsa and I were fighting." I grumbled.
"Look, just hear me out, okay?" Kristoff asked.
"Okay, I'm listening." I replied as I sat up so I could look him in the eyes.
"Alright, maybe you should listen to Elsa this time. I mean, I get that you hate her butting in on your life, but I agree with her on this one." Kristoff frowned.
"Why? If I let her win this round, then she'll think she can win them all. Enough is enough!" I yelled as I stomped towards the door.
"Slow down there feisty pants!" Kristoff shouted as he pulled me back.
"Let! Me! Go!" I yelled as I smashed my fists against his strong biceps.
"You really think that will hurt me?" Kristoff asked as he carried me back to the bed.
"No." I sighed as I let myself go limp. He plopped me onto the bed and sat down next to me.
"Okay, here's what I'm thinking. You tell Elsa that this time you'll listen to her and you won't date Hans." Kristoff smiled.
"No!" I refused.
"Just shut your mouth for two seconds! Then you tell her that if you don't date Hans, you get to decide everything else that happens in your life." Kristoff quickly said.
"Hmmmm. So if I don't date Hans, Elsa can't control my life?" I asked.
"Bingo! That's the compromise!" Kristoff cheered.
"I like it! No, I don't like it. I love it!" I jumped for joy. I quickly skipped towards the door. As I opened it, I saw Elsa opening her door.
"Anna." Elsa smiled. We ran to give each other a hug.
"Okay, okay. Hear me out quick. If I don't date Hans, can you stop butting in on my life?" I nervously asked. Elsa seemed to be thinking it over.
"Alright, but under one condition." Elsa started.
"Yes! Okay, what is it?" I exclaimed.
"I'll let you date Hans and I'll only butt in on your life when I feel that they could lead to horrible, deadly consequences." Elsa replied. Hmmm, date the gorgeous ginger and not have Elsa butt in on my life? Perfect!
"Deal!" I cheered. We gave each other a hug to seal the agreement. We let go and turned towards our friends.
"Are you kidding me?" Merida asked with her jaw wide open.
"What?" Elsa asked.
"We've been trying for years to solve your problems and these two goonies fix it in five minutes!" Merida shouted.
"Oh, I guess we forgot to tell you that those goonies are the most compassionate people who ever lived." Eugene smirked.
"Yeah! Kristoff may look tough and mean on the outside, but on the inside he's a giant, soft teddy bear." Rapunzel smiled as she gave Kristoff a huge hug, which he returned.
"Of course they are. That's just wonderful." Merida grumbled.
"Why are you so mad Mer?" I asked.
"Because I've know you two the longest out of anyone here and I couldn't figure your problems." Merida grumbled.
"It's okay Mer. It's just that, well, your not exactly the most caring girl in the world." I stuttered.
"What that supposed to mean?" Merida hissed.
"It just means that, well, maybe you weren't the best at solving problems." I awkwardly chuckled. Merida seemed to be thinking it over in her head.
"I guess." Merida giggled.
"Good. Now that everything is all peachy again, let's party!" Eugene cheered.
"Okay, by doing what?" I asked.
"I'll show you. Be right back!" Eugene smiled as he ran out the door.
"What do you think he's going to get?" Hiccup asked.
"Probably a mirror so he can look at himself for hours." Elsa replied.
*Rapunzel's POV*
Well, glad all of the drama is over. Hopefully. I wonder what Eugene is grabbing? I sure hope he's not bringing a mirror, because that's what Kristoff got him for his birthday. Soon, Eugene barged through the door carrying a case. "Who wants a beer?" Eugene smirked. I looked around, wondering what everyone else thought.
"Eugene, it's illegal for us to drink. We're below the age limit." Hiccup said.
"That's never stopped me." Eugene chuckled.
"How many have you had before?" Merida asked.
"Tons. I have at least one at every party." Eugene replied.
"And you've never been caught?" Elsa asked.
"Nope, not yet." Eugene chuckled.
"Give me one." Anna said.
"Ooo, I see you're using your privilege already." Eugene smirked as he handed Anna a can of beer. Elsa was fuming in the background.
"Kristoff?" Eugene offered.
"No thanks. Not thirsty." Kristoff refused.
"Alright, there's plenty more in my pickup. Curly, you up for a drink?" Eugene asked.
"I guess." Merida laughed.
"Elsa?" Eugene asked.
"No! We are underage!" Elsa yelled.
"It will only be one. It's not going to hurt you." Eugene replied.
"Yes it will. It ruins your brain cells." Elsa argued.
"I guess that explains my failing grades. Hiccup?" Eugene offered.
"No thanks." Hiccup refused.
"Jack?" Eugene asked.
"Maybe later." Jack shrugged. That only left me.
"Blondie?" Eugene asked. I looked and saw everyone divided up. Elsa, Hiccup, Kristoff weren't going to drink tonight. Merida, Anna, and Eugene already opened the cans, waiting to see what I would say. Jack was a maybe, which left it down three to three.
"Rapunzel, don't let Eugene bribe you into something this stupid." Elsa said.
"I don't care what she picks. Do whatever you feel like." Eugene smiled. Have a drink or stay safe. That's when I picked something I knew I would regret.
"Toss me a beer." I mumbled. I looked and saw everyone's faces in shock, except Eugene's. He was of course giving me his half smile.
"Okay Blondie, your choice." Eugene smiled as he tossed me the can. Of course, since I'm not the best at playing sports, I dropped the can.
"Oops." I awkwardly giggled. I looked at Elsa and saw her turn away. I opened my can and looked inside.
"Well, cheers to a good Friday!" Eugene yelled as he raised his can.
"Cheers!" All of us yelled except Elsa and Hiccup. The night was only beginning.
