*Eugene's POV*
We were having a blast at practice. Tonight, we leave for state. We have to get there a day early so we can practice on the field and get used to being in such a big stadium. We aren't a very big school, only a class A ranking. So the school stadiums we play in are tiny compared to the class AA stadium we will be playing in on Friday. "Alright boys listen up. Meet back at the high school by 7:00. It's only a two hour drive to Sanford so we should arrive at the hotel around nine. Pack some supper for tonight since we aren't stopping anywhere. Remember to bring your money and please don't forget any of your equipment. Before we leave tonight, remind me to tell you who will be in your rooms." Mr. T yelled.

"Yes sir." We all mumbled.

"Good, now go home and pack up your things. Tomorrow will be a busy day!" He yelled as he clapped his hands. I quickly packed up my bag and headed towards the door. Before I got out of the school, a hand pulled me back.

"Eugene." Jack yelled.

"What?" I asked. He pulled me over to the side, letting everyone pass us.

"I need to tell you something." Jack whispered.

"Can't it wait?" I asked. I don't think he remembered how far out of town I lived. If I was going to pack and be back in town by seven I needed to leave. Now.

"No, it can't."

"Don't you know how far out I live?" I asked.

"Yeah, you'll be fine. Besides, you speed anyway." Jack argued.

"Fine, but make it quick." I grumbled.

"It's about my meeting with Tonya." Jack said.

"Don't you want to wait and tell Kristoff and me at the same time?" I asked. Jack seemed to be thinking it over, debating about what to do.

"Fine. But you'll have to keep quiet. I don't want anyone to find out what I'm going to tell you guys." Jack replied.

"Okay. See ya Jack." I said as I headed out the door. I quickly sped home and packed my bag. I quickly made a sandwich and packed it.

"Hey Eugene. Tonight's the send off right?" Dad asked as I walked towards the door.

"Yeah. If you want to send us off, you should probably leave now." I chuckled.

"Alright. I'll see you there." Dad replied.

"Bye!" I yelled as I slammed the door. I quickly hopped into my pickup and drove to the high school. I decided to eat my sandwich on the way to the school so I didn't have to eat it on the bus. I parked my car beside Jack's and ran to the front door. I took out my phone to check the time. 6:50.

"Wow Eugene. Way to be early." Kristoff said.

"At least I'm not late." I smirked.

"That's a first." Jack snorted. We all talked until Mr. T came out of the school.

"Who's ready to come home with a state title?" Mr. T yelled. We all cheered. We were going to win state or die trying. I know, sounds a little extreme for a high school sport, but we meant it. Soon, all of the parents had us take pictures with each other. The moms had Rapunzel, Jack, Kristoff, and me take a picture together.

"That's a keeper!" Regina smiled as she looked at her photo.

"Ooos, take one on my phone. I want to paint this picture later." Rapunzel smiled as she handed Regina her phone.

"Everyone say, "State Bound!" Regina cheered.

"State Bound!" We smiled. She handed Rapunzel back her phone so we could look it over.

"Okay guys, so I'm going to drive down to Sanford Friday morning. I'm going to decorate my car full out team spirit. I'm going to have paw prints, footballs, and witty sayings." Rapunzel planned.

"Sorry Punzie, but we really don't care for decorations." Kristoff chuckled.

"I know. I'm just so excited!" Rapunzel cheered as she hugged us. "Alright so I'm going to be really bored tomorrow so text me whenever you can." Rapunzel commanded.

"You'll have Elsa." Jack smiled.

"Yeah, but it won't be the same with you guys!" Rapunzel cheered.

"Let's go boys!" Mr. T yelled. Everyone started packing up our bags and headed towards the bus.

"One last hug!" Rapunzel cheered. We all let her hug us. She gave one of her tightest hugs ever. "I'll miss you!" She cheered.

"We'll miss you more." We replied.

"I'll miss you most." Rapunzel smiled as she let go of us. "Now go have fun. You better win on Friday!" Rapunzel waved as we walked onto the bus. We all took our seats. I sat by Kristoff and Jack sat by himself.

"Alright boys, I'll name off who's staying with who. The four seniors will stay together. Jack, Eugene, Kristoff, and Adam will be together....." Mr. T yelled. I ignored the rest since it didn't apply to me. "Okay? Get some sleep tonight. You will need it for tomorrow." Mr. T finished as he turned around and sat in his seat. We sat near the back, close to the seniors.

"Hey Eugene, heard you and Tonya are a thing now." Philip, a top senior, teased me.

"Phhh, as if. I can't stand her." I replied.

"Really? I think she nice." Charming said. Charming isn't his real name, but everyone calls him that. He's also a senior.

"Go for her." I chuckled.

"Naw, Charming over here has a thing for Cinderella." Philip teased.

"Oh yeah, well you have a thing for Aurora." Charming smirked.

"Hey Jack, what even happened between you and Tonya?" Naveen asked. Naveen is a junior like us.

"It's a long story." Jack chuckled.

"Tell us, dude!"  Ferdinand yelled, another senior. (He's the prince off of Snow White)

"She was just super annoying and bossy." Jack said.

"And all she thought about was herself." I added.

"Like you don't Eugene." Philip laughed.

"What can I say, when you're hot you need to embrace it." I smirked.

"You are so over confident." Charming laughed.

"It's a blessing and a curse." I laughed.

"Hey Kristoff! Do you like that little sophomore?" Eric asked. He was the last senior.

"What sophomore?" Kristoff asked.

"Elsa's little sister. You know, the redhead with braids." Naveen answered.

"She's just a friend." Kristoff scoffed.

"Good, because otherwise you would have to deal with sideburns over there." Philip whispered as he pointed to Hans. Hans was sitting with some dude that I didn't recognize.

"What do you mean?" Jack asked.

"I've heard rumors that he's been going after Anna for the past month. According to Hans, Elsa won't let Anna date him because, hot stuff over here told Rapunzel that he was creepy." Charming said as he pointed me.

"Well he is." I defended.

"I'm not saying he's not. I'm just saying that you're stopping 'true love'." Charming said as he air quoted true love.

"Please, who really believes in true love?" Jack chuckled.

"Almost all of the girls." Eric laughed.

"Like who?" Adam asked.

"Cinderella, Aurora, Jasmine, and basically any girl." Philip replied.

"Not Merida." I replied.

"What? Do you like the fiery redhead?" Ferdinand teased.

"No, I don't like Curly." I replied.

"Wow, you guys already have nicknames." Adam laughed.

"Whatever. I give everyone nicknames." I said.

"Yeah, he likes someone else." Jack smirked.

"Oooo, who's the lucky gal?" Eric asked.

"Please, I don't like anyone. All of the girls like me." I replied.

"I'll give you a hint. She's a blonde." Adam teased.

"Dude, it better not be Cinderella." Charming threatened.

"Or Aurora." Philip added.

"No, no, no. It's someone you wouldn't expect." Kristoff said.

"Who?" Naveen asked.

"Is it Jessica?" Philip asked.

"Nope."

"How about Dessy?" Charming questioned.

"I already went out with her."

"Stacy? Morgan?" Ferdinand asked.

"No. Already dated Morgan. Twice."

"Then who?!" They all asked.

"I'll tell ya, but only if you all tell me your crushes." I smirked.

"Alright, I'll play your game Fitzherbert. But, no one can lie." Philip said.

"Yeah, if you lie, you die." Charming threatened.

"Alright. Ferdinand, how about you start?" I asked.

"Snow White. I mean, I'm dating her." Ferdinand chuckled.

"I'll go next. I like Aurora." Philip smiled.

"Ariel." Eric smiled.

"Jasmine." Aladdin replied.

"Hey, didn't know you joined in." Philip laughed.

"I wanted to know Eugene's lover, so I joined in." Aladdin smirked.

"Cinderella." Charming laughed.

"Belle." Adam replied.

"Pocahontas." John added. Does everyone really want to know that bad?

"Mulan." Li Shang smiled.

"Tiana." Naveen smirked.

"Dude, she thinks you're annoying!" Aladdin laughed.

"I know. I like them feisty." Naveen joked.

"That only leaves you, Eugene." Charming smiled.

"Yeah, who is it?" Philip asked.

"If I told you, you wouldn't believe me." I smirked.

"Oh come on, we followed the rules. Now you have to keep your part." Adam whined.

"Alright. I like Rapunzel." I replied. Everyone looked at me confused.

"Get out of here." Charming laughed.

"You're kidding right?" Philip asked.

"Nope." I replied.

"Wow." Li Shang chuckled.

"I knew something was going on between you two! You two are always with each other!" Aladdin cheered.

"I thought you guys were just friends." Naveen laughed.

"Nope." I smiled.

"Have fun trying to go out with her." Charming laughed.

"Trying? Why couldn't he?" Jack asked.

"I mean, aren't you friend zoned? You've know this girl your whole life." Philip replied.

"Hey, you two didn't say yours." Li Shang said as he pointed towards Jack and Kristoff.

"Spill it!" Adam cheered.

"Fine. I like Anna." Kristoff replied.

"I knew it! Philip, pay me my ten dollars." Eric demanded. Philip grumbled and took out ten dollars.

"Jack? Who do you like?" Naveen asked.

"Come on dude, he just got out of a relationship." John defended. I knew Jack didn't like to be protected from something that everyone else was doing.

"That doesn't mean I don't like someone." Jack smirked.

"Tell us!" Charming cheered.

"Elsa." Jack smiled.

"I knew!" I cheered.

"Seriously? How?" Jack asked.

"I don't know, I just figured." I chuckled. Soon, we made it to Sanford and got to our hotel. We all plopped onto our beds. Jack and Kristoff shared the bed closest to the air conditioner, since they don't mind the cold. Adam and I shared the bed closest to the bathroom. We got ready for bed and I almost fell asleep when someone shook me awake. "Huh? What?" I asked.

"Get up." Jack commanded.

"Why?" I asked.

"I need to tell you and Kristoff something." Jack replied.

"Okay. Shoot." I yawned as I stretched.

"Okay, so you know how I had my meeting with Tonya today." Jack said.

"Yeah." Kristoff replied.

"Well, she asked me to get back together with her." Jack replied, looking at his hands.

"You better not have said yes." I replied.

"No I didn't. But, she told me she would leave you guys alone if I found her a boyfriend." Jack said.

"Just find some desperate loser. There, simple. Now goodnight." I said as I rolled over.

"No, Eugene. It's not that simple." Jack whispered as he pulled back over.

"Why not?" I asked.

"She said that she wants you." Jack said. Why in the world would she want me? She knows I hate her.

"Why? She knows Eugene hates her." Kristoff replied.

"Yeah, she knows. But she wants to break Rapunzel's heart. She knows Rapunzel likes you." Jack said.

"No. No, no. I can't break Rapunzel's heart like that." I replied.

"Shush, keep it down." Kristoff said as he pointed to Adam. We listened and still heard him snoring.

"Look, if you go out with Tonya, she will stop bugging us." Jack said.

"Yeah, but then I'll crush Rapunzel's heart." I argued.

"But if you don't, she'll come back meaner and stronger." Krisofff said.

"And Rapunzel won't have her heart broken." I replied.

"So I guess we know where you stand on this." Jack said.

"Yeah, I think we can take her. I'm not afraid of her. I would rather have her beat me up than having to see Rapunzel's face when she finds out we're dating." I said.

"Okay." Jack.

"But she can't beat me up anyways so we won't have to worry about that." I smiled.

"Alright. Well, goodnight." Kristoff said.

"Goodnight." I replied. I rolled over and fell asleep, knowing that I made the right decision.
