*Elsa's POV*
After my meeting with Rapunzel, I hopped in my light blue car and drove to my house. I ran to Anna's room and saw Merida trying to explain archery. As soon as Anna saw me, she gave a smile of relief. "Hey Elsa! You're finally home." Anna greeted. Merida could take for hours about her favorite sport.

"Yeah. What took you so long?" Merida questioned, turning her body to face me in the doorway. I ran my hand through my hair as I lend back against the door, shutting it quietly.

"It's a long story. I'll tell you later." I sighed as I walked over to them. I sat on the floor between Anna and Merida. They stared at me, obviously stilling wondering where I was. I figured it would just be easier if I told them when we were all together.

"When is Hiccup coming?" Anna asked. I shrugged my shoulders and looked at Merida. She would know me than me. After all, he is her boyfriend.

"I don't know. Why?" Merida fired back. She furrowed her eyebrows, confused about what Anna was worrying about. Hiccup would get here when he when got here. He was always doing something, so it wasn't a surprise that he was late.

"No reason." She lied, look at the floor. I knew that face. Anna wanted to tell us a secret, but she didn't want Hiccup to know. Typical Anna. It was probably something involving boys.

"Tell us." I laughed, looking at my little sister. She curled her legs to her chest and fumbled with the carpet on the floor. She was embraced, but all of us knew she would spill her secret.

"Well...it involves a boy. Two boys actually." Anna blushed, stilling looking at the ground. She obviously knew we were going to tease her.

"Ooo! Anna's got a crush." Merida teased, making Anna glare at her. Anna hated being teased, but she had to be used to it by now. Merida was always teasing everyone.

"Shut up Mer." Anna quickly replied, shoving Merida playfully. She was embarrassed, but we all knew Anna was just kidding around. Soon after, Hiccup walked through the door.

"Good, you're finally here." Anna sighed. I could tell she wanted to get this off her chest. It must have been really important. Well, I guess having a crush on two boys is kind of nerve wrecking.

"Okay. Let's talk about our day." I smiled sitting up straight. I wanted to hear about everyone's day. We hardly got to talk during he school day, which sucked, but we couldn't change it.

"Okay. Well, in the morning I ran into Rapunzel and she was really nice. But she didn't even know my name. We've been going to school together since kindergarten," Hiccup started. We nodded our heads, understanding what he was saying. "Anyways, we were having a nice chat when Eugene showed up. He acted like a total jerk. He had his arm around Rapunzel shoulder like he was protecting her. She introduced us even though we've already met. You know...from past experiences." Hiccup finished, stumbling over his words.

Around this time of year in eight grade, Eugene started bullying Hiccup. He would call Hiccup gay and weak. Near the end of the year, Eugene stopped bullying him, but we've never forgot or understood why he started. It just didn't make any sense.

"Oh. Do you think he remembers?" Merida questioned sitting closer to Hiccup. Merida has always been really protective of Hiccup. Ever since that awful year, she's kept the bullies away and has vowed to kick Eugene's ass if he came back.

"I think so. I wouldn't be holding a grudge if he would have just said sorry." Hiccup grumbled. It was true. It was hard for Hiccup to hold a grudge against you and Eugene never ever said sorry.

"Well. Today I met Rapunzel and she gave me some advice on Eugene." I stated, trying to lighten the mood. I didn't want to talk about that year. It just brought back horrible feelings and stuff.

"Really? What did she say?" Anna asked, leaving in closer to our circle in the floor. Her blue eyes widen in curiosity. She loved hearing about gossip, especially when it evolved someone popular like Rapunzel.

"She told me there's no stopping Eugene. He's just going to keep bugging me until I say yes. She told me to say yes, go on the date, and after a couple days, he'll break up with me." I chuckled. The idea was completely idiotic. Why did I have to go on a date with him? Couldn't he control his stupid hormones and date someone else?

"Do you want to?" Merida questioned, raising her eyebrow. Yuck. Me? Date him? No no. I would much rather jump into a pool infested with sharks and try to see how long I could hold my breath.

"No. I think he's super annoying." I quickly answered. Merida nodded, understanding me. Everyone in our group thought Eugene was annoying. He was always moving from girl to girl, being a total f-boy.

"Besides, you like someone else." Hiccup smirked, slightly elbowing me. I scoffed and rolled my eyes. I can't believe he just said that.

"What? No I don't." I lied as I felt heat rising in my cheeks. The group started laughing at my response. They all knew who my crush was.

"Liar! We see you blushing!" Merida laughed as she pointed at my face. I groaned and covered my face. Ugh, why did I always have to blush!

"Shut up!" I giggled as I threw a pillow at her. She caught it and stuck her tongue out at me. I stuck mine back out.

"Well, today I meant some very nice people." Anna stated. We looked at her, ready for her to spill her secret. She had probably been holding it in all day so it would more than likely come out as fast as light.

"Who?" Hiccup questioned. Leave it to Hiccup to ask what she was bound to tell us anyways.

"There was this guy called Hans. He's really nice and wants to hang out some-"

"Wait! Does this Hans have sideburns?" I questioned, cutting Anna off. She pouted, upset that I interrupted her story. Then she rolled her eyes, ready to answer my question.

"Yeah why?" Anna asked, looking me over. I probably sounded like a stalker since I actually knew who she was talking about, but I didn't really care. Besides, I've only seen the guy like twice.

"Rapunzel said that Eugene told her that he's really creepy." I replied. The group looked at me, their eyes wide. Was it something I said?

"Really? You're going to trust Rapunzel?" Merida questioned. Oh boy. I didn't know Merida hated her that much. Sure, she wanted revenge on the Top Dawgs because of Eugene and earlier today, but I didn't see how they were bad anymore.

"And Eugene?" Hiccup added, looking at me like I was crazy. Sure, Eugene was a jerk back then, but now he's nice...well...nicer.

"Yeah." I mumbled. Hiccup looked at me like I just betrayed him. Anna and Merida widened their blue eyes, obviously thinking they heard me wrong. I shrugged my shoulders and looked at the floor.

"Why? Eugene probably lied to her so she wouldn't fall for him." Merida replied. I could see where she would get that idea. The guys probably didn't want another dude in their group, so they probably tried scaring Rapunzel from dating certain guys.

"Actually, she thought the same thing," I chuckled. It was true. She told me that herself. "But if we're being serious, I think he looks a little creepy too."

"Yeah...but I also met his guy named Kristoff and he was super strong and super sweet!" Anna blushed. Kristoff. Where have I heard that name before? Hopefully he wasn't another one of the druggies in school.

"Wait. Isn't Kristoff in the Top Dawgs?" Merida asked. Ooh. Right. He's a friends of Rapunzel. Seriously, how could I forget that?

"Yeah. Why?" I replied. Why did it matter that Kristoff was in the their clique? He had a better reputation than Hans. It wasn't like Kristoff would actually hurt Anna and get away with it.

"He is?!" Anna exclaimed. I could that she was excited about liking someone popular, but Merida obviously was thinking about it for another reason. She couldn't care less if Kristoff was popular.

"Yeah." I answered, still looking at Merida. She was totally up to something, and if one of us didn't stop her, she could get herself Out of School Suspension, or OSS.

"No reason." Merida smirked, shrugging her shoulders. Okay, now she was definitely planning something devious.

"Merida, we know that smile. What are you thinking?" Hiccup smiled, looking at his girlfriend. Anna and I looked at her, wanting her to spill her plan. Knowing Mer, it would be something totally insane.

"Anna could be our revenge plan on Eugene." She exclaimed, slapping her hands against the floor. She seemed to proud of her plan. She chuckled evilly, hoping we would join in with her.

"What!?" Hiccup shouted. He had the same reactions as me. There was no way I was going to help her go through with this. I was just starting to like Rapunzel. I didn't want to get on her bad side! She was actually nice.

"Yeah! She could get close to Kristoff. Eventually, he'll bring her into the group and she can learn lots about Eugene. When we have enough information about him, we strike!" Merida cheered, throwing her hand into the air. Anna shook head, not liking this idea.

"I want no part in this!" I declared, surrendering my arms. I had to tell her straight up that I wasn't going to be helping her with this. This was just insane. I didn't want to help get revenge on someone.

"Merida, we don't have to plan revenge on Eugene." Hiccup sighed. Hiccup was still upset with Eugene, but he would never want revenge on him. Hiccup was too nice of a guy.

"Yes we do. He doesn't even feel bad about what he did to you! I'm just trying to give him what he deserves!" Merida exclaimed, looking at us. She had a point. Eugene didn't even know what he did to Hiccup. He should have to pay in some way.

"I'm glad that you feel that way, but wouldn't it make us look bad? I mean, they would know Anna told us about Eugene, so then Kristoff would break up with her, and if Anna was starting to like him, he would break her heart. Then we would have to have revenge on Kristoff and so on." Hiccup explained, using his hands to talk. It would be a long revenge line anyways.

"Okay, but I'm never going to let it go," Merida pouted as she crossed her arms. "At least not until he apologizes." She whispered under her breath. I agreed that Eugene should apologize, but forcing him wouldn't help the situation at all. It was just to messy and complicated.

"So Elsa, what else did you talk about with Rapunzel?" Anna asked, changing the subject. I could tell that Anna wanted out of this topic fast. She didn't want to mess with angry Merida.

"Well we talked about crushes." I blushed then quickly covered my mouth. Crap. I can't believe I just let that slip. Ugghh...now they'll ask me millions of questions until I break.

"Ooo, tell me more! Does she like Eugene?!" Merida questioned, scooting in close. She was the one who guessed that Rapunzel had a crush on him, but I couldn't tell her. That would be going back on my promise.

"Wait. She likes Eugene?" Hiccup asked, looking around at the group. Great. We were already starting rumors. I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"No no no just listen. Okay, I told her my crush and she said that she would take me over Tonya." I explained, skipping over Rapunzel's crush. I wasn't going to let them know. I mean, Merida and those guys are my friends, but they didn't need to know.

"Well yeah, who wouldn't?" Merida laughed, looking at us. To be honest, I thought we were some of the few people who hated her. I didn't know everyone including Jack's friends hated her.

"Did she tell you her crush?" Anna smiled, looking up at me. Ugh..I wanted to completely skip this part of the story. I fought with my conscience and decided that I couldn't lie to my friends.

"Yes." I squeaked, squinting my eyes. I felt everyone crowd me, wanting to make sure they could hear my response.

"Who is it?!" Everyone exclaimed, leaning against me. I began to feel claustrophobic as they breathed down my neck. I didn't want to answer this question!

"I'm not allowed to tell you." I replied, hoping they would drop the subject. I really didn't want to talk about this right now. I didn't want to spill Rapunzel's secret and I wasn't going to!

"What do you mean?" Hiccup questioned, a feeling of hurt lacing the words. I knew I probably sounded like a jerk for keeping secret from my best friends, but it was the only option. I didn't want to let Rapunzel down.

"We both promised each other that we wouldn't tell." I softy explained. I felt bad for not telling them, but I wanted to be trusted by Rapunzel. I wanted her to be my friend.

"You can't keep secrets from your friends." Merida snapped. I could tell she was beginning to fume. I didn't want this to turn into a heated argument. The last time that happened I got a broken lamp.

"You can if you promised not to tell." I defended.

"Fine." Merida huffed. After a while we went downstairs and helped ourselves to something to eat. Eventually, Merida and Hiccup went home. I grabbed Olaf and ran to my room. I hopped onto my bed and opened my laptop.

"Hey Elsa! Have you seen Olaf?" Anna called from downstairs. I looked at the fluffy kitty purring besides me. I didn't want to wake him up from his comfortable nap.

"No, sorry! I lied. I was surfing the web when I got a text from Merida. I prayed to God that it wouldn't be a text begging me to tell her the secret.

M~ Sorry if I was being a little mean today. I'm just really protective when it comes to my friends.

E~ I understand Mer.

M~ Good. I don't know if you have Rapunzel's number so here it is. 867-9305. (Not a real number)

E- Thanks Mer, you're the best!

M~ I know ;)

I quickly punched in Rapunzel's number and texted her. She didn't know my number, but she figured it out. She told me that she might not reply because she'll be busy. What could she be doing at 8:00 at night? I saw Olaf try to leave but I quickly grabbed him and gave him a hug. For some reason, that also works. I played on my laptop till about 11:00. I got ready for bed and was almost asleep when I got a message from Rapunzel.

R~ Do you want to hang out tomorrow?

E~ Sure, like with the boys?

R~ No, after the boys leave. Does seven sound alright?

E~ Sounds great!

R~ Great! See you in science!

*Eugene's POV*
The boys and I finished swimming about a half hour after Rapunzel. "Hey Eugene, what are you doing tonight?" Kristoff asked as we stood outside on the rocks. It wasn't too cold today. Today was probably the last day of the year to go swimming.

"Nothing, why?" I replied. I knew I should probably go home to my dad tonight, but I was curious about what Kristoff wanted.

"My parents want you over dinner tonight." Kristoff answered as he rubbed a towel over his long, shaggy hair. Dinner, hmm? Well, it had to be better than whatever Dad was going to make at home.

"Alright. I'll meet you there." I agreed as I dried off. He nodded his head and headed back towards the cars. I liked Kristoff's parents. His mom was a fabulous cook so tonight should be good.

"Okay. See ya Jack!" Kristoff waved as he walked through the bushes. I looked at Jack, whose hair was a total mess. He was still dripping water, not really caring that he was still wet.

"Bye Kristoff! So Eugene, how have you been doing?" Jack casually asked. Okay, I knew it wasn't casual. Every time around this year, the gang would always act really nice to me.

"I don't know. I'm okay, but my dad, not so much." I honestly answered. Ever since my mother died, my father has been a heavy drinker. I know I shouldn't really be mad at him for it, but I just wish he would stop.

"Hey, it will be okay. Soon, you'll be out of the house." Jack encouraged as he slapped my back. I knew Jack was trying to lift my spirits, but in all honestly, it kind of frightened me.

"Actually, that's what I'm worried about." I chuckled. The thought of my dad being all by himself while I'm at college freaked me out. My dad was a social person, not having anyone else in the house would probably make him go insane.

"Oh, you're worried about your dad, aren't you?" Jack frowned. He just have felt bad for bringing it up, but the thought was always on my mind. I always had to be the one to lift my dad back up from his sorrow, who would do it when I'm gone?

"Yeah, I don't know what he'll do without my mom and me." I replied.

"Well, if I was you, I wouldn't worry about till the time comes." Jack smiled. I nodded my head, trying to listen to his encouragement, but my dad would always be on my mind.

"Okay. Well, I guess I better be headed to Kristoff's house. See you around!" I smiled as I walked towards my red pickup. I pushed through the bushes, ready to go. I couldn't wait to see what Kristoff's mother cooked tonight.

"Bye Eugene! Hey, if you need anything just text me, okay?" Jack called as he opened the door to his blue pickup. He followed behind me as we left for our cars. I nodded my head, known Jack would always be there for me.

"Okay!" I laughed as I closed my door. I sped to Kristoff's house and parked next to his white car. I knocked on his door and was greeted by his mom.

"Hey, Eugene! Come in!" She greeted as she hugged me. She was always a touchy-feely person. "Kristoff is downstairs in his room."

"Thanks!" I smiled as I hopped down the stairs I opened his door and saw him on his phone. He looked bored, but now that I was here, he wouldn't be.

"Hey Eugene!" Kristoff greeted as he shut off his phone. Kristoff didn't really use social media of any sort, so I was kind of surprised to see him on his phone.

"Hey." I nodded as I shut the door. I walked towards his bed, sitting in the chair beside it. It was my favorite and everyone knew it so they would always try to take it whenever we went to Kristoff's house.

"Can I ask you something?" He suddenly spoke, lookin down at his hands. I cocked my eyebrow, confused by his sudden seriousness. Kristoff was always one of the more mature guys in group, besides Hiccup of course.

"Yeah, sure. What's on your mind?" I asked. He ran his hand through his hair, obviously stressed about something. Maybe he did bad on a test?

"Umm...you know how you told me about Rapunzel?" Kristoff slowly started. My eyes widen at him. He better not have done what I was thinking.

"You didn't tell anyone, did you?" I quickly questioned, hoping I had the wrong idea. Kristen would never do that, right?

"Nonono! I was just going to tell you someone I found cute." Kristoff blushed. A feeling of relief and curiosity went through my veins. Who was this mystery girl?

"Who?" I asked. Kristoff was never a lady's man to say the least. He was never looking for a relationship and he always got nervous around them. He usually just found girls annoying, except Rapunzel. The idea of him actually having a crush on someone was a surprise itself.

"She's a sophomore." He fumbled. He was obviously embarrassed, but he had no reason to be. The girl was only one grade below us. It was totally normal for guys to date girls younger.

"What's she like?"

"She has these really blue eyes, strawberry blonde hair parted into these cute braids, and she's awkward, but it's a cute awkward." Kristoff blabbered. Wow. Kristoff really did like a girl. He had all of the symptoms of puppy love.

"What's her name?" I chuckled. I was actually surprised that he finally meant someone he generally liked. That's never happened before. We usually had to drag him out to parties and such. He hated leaving Sven.

"Anna Arendelle." He softly smiled. Wow. Wait? Arendelle. Where have I heard that name before?

"Elsa's little sister?" I questioned, furrowing my eyebrows. I almost forgot that Elsa had a sibling. She just always acted like she was a single child. She never mentioned a sister.

"Yeah. It's not weird, is it?" Kristoff asked, looking at me. I could tell he was nervous about his feelings, but he had no reason to be. This wasn't weird or strange at all.

"No, it's totally normal. Plenty of guys date girls in the grade below them. Some even date girls like three grades below." I assured. I wanted Kristoff to know that what he was feeling was normal, well, not normal for him. Like I said before, Kristoff's never really liked the idea of dating.

"Okay, just don't tell anyone, got it?" He chuckled. I nodded my head. I wouldn't tell anyone about Kristoff's secret. First off, he's one of my best friends. Secondly, no one would believe me anyways.

"If you keep my secret, I'll keep yours." I laughed. He smiled, shaking his long hair out of his eyes.

"Okay." He agreed.

"Boys! Dinner's ready!" Ellie, Kristoff's mom, yelled. We ran up the stairs and sat down at the table. Kristoff's dad, John, was sitting in his spot reading the newspaper. His dad always sat at the end of the table.

"Hey Eugene! How's it going?" He greeted me, not looking up from his paper. He flipped the page, still expecting me to answer him. This was just the way things worked at their house.

"Pretty good. You?" I smiled. He nodded his head, either because he liked what he was reading or that he was glad that I was going good. I'm guessing it was the first thought.

"I'm going great." He replied, intently reading. Kristoff's mom walked past and grabbed it out of his hands. She smirked as she placed it under her arm.

"Darling, I was reading that!" He chuckled, watching Ellie stroll back into the kitchen. I could hear her trying not to laugh as she hid his paper.

"Well, you're just going to have to wait till after dinner. Besides, we have a guest." She explained as she gestured to me. I gave a small wave, making John laugh.

"What are we having?" Kristoff asked. I was curious myself, but I wasn't going to ask. Even though I've been with them since I was just a baby, I still thought it would be rude to ask.

"Chicken, mashed potatoes, beans, buns, and I have some brownies in the oven." She quickly listed as she sat in her spot. We passed the food around and talked about school. I was there till about 7:30.

"Well, I should get going. Thanks for the meal." I smiled as I pushed my chair away from the table. I didn't want to stay there too long. I was worried about my dad and I couldn't leave him alone for too long.

"Hold on!" Ellie called as she ran towards me. She gestured towards Kristoff and John. They stood up and came to give me one huge group hug. "We love you, Eugene." She whispered into my ear. I rolled my eyes.

"Love you too." I whispered back, a small smile on my face. Like I said, in this family, they're all touchy-feely, but I loved them. They let go and walked me to the door.

"If you ever need anything, just give us a call." John yelled from the front door.

"Okay." I responded. I pulled out of the driveway and drove to my house. I pulled up to the house and found the front door locked. Great. This was just great. I went around to the back of the house and went through the porch door. At least I knew this one would be unlocked. I entered the house and I walked through so I could unlock the front door.

I turned around and saw my dad passed out on the couch, beer cans and bottles laying everywhere. Not again. As I went over to him, I smelt the alcohol all over him. It always got bad this time of year.  I dragged him off the couch, his heavy body pulling me down. I pulled him to his bedroom and pushed him onto his bed.

I panted, tired from that workout. I tucked him in and heard someone come in. Crap. I quickly made sure he wouldn't fall of the bed and ran out to see who was here. I saw Rapunzel and Regina. "Oh, it's just you guys." I chuckled, rubbing the back of my neck. I could feel the sweat trickling on my forehead. I noticed Rapunzel staring at me.

"Hey Eugene. We made you these cookies." Rapunzel's mom said, handing me the cookies. I opened the container, wondering what kind she made. I figured it would be something healthy, but it wasn't.

"Thanks, sorry this place is a mess." I apologized, embarrassed as I set the treats on the counter. I didn't have anytime to clean up after my father.

"It's no big deal. We'll just clean it up." She said rolling up her sleeves. "Rapunzel, you go in the living room and pick up all the cans and put them in the recycling. Eugene, you are going to get the vacuum and vacuum the carpet. I'm going to clean the dishes and put them in the cupboard."

"Yes sir!" I chuckled as I saluted her. I ran down the hall and grabbed the vacuum cleaner from the closet. I quickly plugged it into the outlet. I followed Rapunzel as she picked up the bottles and cans. I heard her mom cleaning the dishes like she was a robot.

"Eugene! Where do you keep your washcloths?" She yelled from the kitchen. I quickly ran to the drawer and handed her a new washcloth. "Thank you." She said as she kissed me on my cheek. I finished vacuuming and started sweeping the floors. We finally finished and the place looked spotless."So Eugene, where's your father?" She asked. I tried to play it off so she wouldn't notice.

"He's in his bedroom." I mumbled, trying not to sound suspicious. I didn't want her to know about my father. Everyone already knows he's a heavy drinker, but if they found out that I had to take care of him...well I don't want to know what would happen.

"What's he doing?" Regina questioned. I had to come up with an excuse. Something that sound logical..something Regina wouldn't even question.

"He's just...taking a nap." I lied. Okay, even I didn't believe what's I just said. She glared at me, al last making me want to run away from her. She was intimidating.

"Eugene Fitzherbert, tell me the truth." She commanded. Oh boy. Things were getting serious in here. I looked around the room, trying to decide whether to spill the beans or not. I figure she might as well know. I trusted her the most out of anyone anyways.

"I found him passed out on the couch again." I replied, hanging my head low. I felt embarrassed of my father's behavior. I didn't want to tell anyone, but it wasn't like they didn't know. It had to be obvious when they helped me clean the house.

"Oh Eugene. I'm so sorry." She frowned leaning over and hugging me. I was a little startled at first, but the longer I felt her warm, motherly hug, the more I missed her. She was a piece of life that was taken away from me. Everyone talks about how much they love their mother, but I didn't have one anymore.

"It's okay." I sniffed. I felt two more arms wrap around us. I opened my eyes and saw Rapunzel, trying her hardest to hug us all together. I could see her tears threatening to spill.

"If you ever need anything, don't haste to text Rapunzel or call me. We will always be here for you. Okay?" She stated, rubbing the back of my head. Once she said that, I could suddenly feel my tears on my cheeks. God, I probably looked like a baby.

"Okay." I horsily replied, wiping away my tears. I

"Well, what did you have for dinner?" Regina asked, changing the subject. I knew Regina lost someone special in her life a long time again, so it felt nice knowing that someone else was here, knowing what I was going through.

"Chicken." I smiled. It felt nice to know that someone cared about me. I mean, I know my dad tries, but it felt different from Regina. She just reminded me so what if my mother, or at least a motherly figure.

"Okay, so you ate. Did you do your homework?" She questioned. Of course she cared about my grades. She's always been that way. She's always wanted me to do my best, and that meant actually doing my homework sadly.

"I just have a little history left." I answered. That was a lie, but she didn't seem to notice.

"Okay. Well, Rapunzel and I should be heading home now. Bye Eugene." She explained, giving me one last hug. She patted my back, leaning my head onto her shoulder. I let out a soft scoff, surprised at how she was babying me.

"Good bye." I smiled. I let go, only to see Rapunzel smiling with her arms wide open. I knew she wouldn't leave without a hug. She was touchy-feely like Kristoff.

"Bye Eugene." She grinned giving me a hug. I pulled me her tight, as she snuggled her face into my shirt. I placed my chin on her head, since she was shorter than me.

"Bye Blondie." I chuckled. I let go of her and walked them to the door. I stood out on the porch, waving them goodbye. I went back and inside to find my dad awake.

"Hey, Eugene." He grunted. I was surprised that he was even talking. Just a little bit ago, I though he would never wake up. He reminded me of a dead body.

"Hey Dad. Did you eat?" I asked. I was concerned about him, but I figured food wasn't really on his mind after all of the alcohol. It definitely wouldn't sit well with his stomach.

"No. Did you?" He fired back, looking at me. I nodded my head, hoping he wouldn't feel bad for not feeding me. My father made it clear to the other families that he could take care of me all on his own.

"Yeah, Kristoff invited me over. I could make you something if you want." I offered. I hoped that he would be mad that I accepted the invitation to Kristoff's house. I figured he wouldn't, but I didn't know how sober he was.

"It's okay, I'll make myself something. Go get some sleep."

...............................................................................................................................................
Hope you're enjoying this book. It might seem like I'm making Merida really mean, but I'm trying to make her seem tough. I don't really know how since I'm not really 'tough' gal. Thanks for reading!
