The sound of grunting and two weights hitting each other was heard. In his home gym, Wyatt was there lifting weights above his head and hitting them to help count his reps. Sweat drips down his face as he grunts. His arms shake as he fights through the pain and finishes his set.

He drops the weights down and breathes heavily as he leans back in the bench he was sitting on. He sits there, thinking. Thinking about one thing and one thing only.

"This was fun. I'll see ya soon Wy."

Her words keep repeating. She stopped calling him that whenever she met Austin. He shakes his head and stops thinking as he heads upstairs into his kitchen and then upstairs to his room. He grabs some clothes and goes into his bathroom. He undresses and turns the faucets on and steps in. After he washes his body off, he relaxes in the water.

He finishes up and steps out of the shower and dries off. Wyatt puts his clothes on and looks at his phone.

Wyatt looks on Instagram and sees a picture of Britt and him, from the indies that was posted by the promotion.

Meanwhile...

Britt is looking at the same picture. She sighs and goes into her gallery and looks at a gallery from the indies and sees pictures of her and Wyatt.

"Brittany, Britt?" says a woman

Britt stops and looks behind her.

"Oh! Sorry! What's up?" asks Britt

"Got a patient in Room 4 ready for you." says the woman

"Alright. Thanks." says Britt who smiles

Britt walks out of the break room. Thoughts flood her mind about him. How she wished she would have told him.

2017
Hershey, PA

Cheering is heard as a bell rings. Inside a small venue, a wrestling ring is at the center with a curtain and a barricade that surrounds the ring.

A younger Wyatt gets up and gets his arm raised as he has defeated his opponent. He smiles and looks around venue at the crowd.

Later, Wyatt is walking around when he sees someone. His good friend and partner in wrestling training, Britt. Britt looks a little different herself.

"Hey Britt! You ready?" He asks

"Yeah Wy!" says Britt who smiles at him.

They leave the building and walk around the town.

"You had a good match. Crowd loved you." says Britt

"Thanks. They always do for some reason." Wyatt says and smiles

"You're just likeable." says Britt as they arrive at a bar and head inside.

They get their drinks and sit down at a table.

"So how have you been?" asks Wyatt

"Good. Just been focusing on wrestling and school. It's been good though. You?" asks Britt who takea a sip of her drink.

"I've been good." Wyatt says as he sips his drink. "How did your Dental Conference go a few weeks ago?"

"It was great! It was very fun. I had a good time. This is very challenging but I'm enjoying it." says Britt

"That's good. I'm glad to hear it." He says

The two talk for a bit and laugh as they have a good time. Britt gets up to get another drink.

Wyatt smiles as he looks at his phone and sees a text from a friend of his, Johnny Gargano.

"You got this! Just tell her! It'll all go well!"

Wyatt smiles and bites his lip nervously. His leg goes up and down as Britt walks back over.

"So Britt I wanted to t-" says Wyatt who stops talking as Britt's phone rings.

"Shit. Sorry!" says Britt who answers it. "Hello? Hey! How are you? Just had a show. Hanging out with a friend of mine. Yeah next weekend works. See ya then."

Britt hangs up and looks at Wyatt. "Sorry. That was my boyfriend." says Britt

It was like a dagger through his heart. His muscles tighten as his stomach felt heavy. His face went cold.

"B..Boyfriend?" He asks

"Oh! I forgot to tell you! While at my conference I matched with this guy on Bumble. He's a wrestler too! His name is Austin. He wrestles as Adam Cole." says Britt

"Oh....Y-Yeah, I know him." says Wyatt

"Awesome! We went out last week after he came back from Japan. It went well." says Britt

"That's ...um..that's great." says Wyatt

"Yeah. So what was it you were gonna say?" asks Britt

"What? Oh...It's not important." says Wyatt

"You sure?" asks Britt

"Yeah. It's cool." says Wyatt

Britt nods and smiles

Present Day

Wyatt is downstairs in his kitchen looking in his fridge. His phone rings and he checks it instantly to see if it was Britt. He sighs a little but smiles as he answers it.

"Hey James." says Wyatt

"Sup man. How are ya?" asks James

"I'm good man. You?" asks Wyatt

"Good." says James. "Everything good?"

"Y-Yeah. Just tired. You excited for Tomorrow night?" asks Wyatt

"Yeah. I'm probably gonna be getting ready here to fly out." says James

"Same. I'm just grabbing a quick snack. I have my bags packed and everything." says Wyatt

"Good man." says James who smiles. "You excited for tomorrow?"

"Yeah I am. Are you?" asks Wyatt

"Yeah....I'm kind of excited to see Paige again." says James

"Awwwwww! That's cute." says Wyatt

"Oh whatever." says James who chuckles

"Well I gotta go bro. I'll see you at the show." says Wyatt

"See ya bro." says James

Wyatt hangs up and grabs his bag and leaves his house.
