A few months have passed since where we last left off but now a big day in AEW has arrived. Double or Nothing.

The card is stacked with matches. The night is guaranteed to have some epic moments and surprises.

Wyatt is backstage at the T-Mobile Arena. He is not booked for the show, however there was something on this show that he wanted and needed to see.

He walks up to Cody who is going over some show notes.

"Hey man." says Wyatt.

"Hey." says Cody.

They shake hands and smile.

"Is everything all set with him?" asks Wyatt.

"It is. He'll be here later. It's going to be the opening match. No one is expecting it. No one knows. It's perfect. Dave nor Bryan nor anyone got a wiff of it." says Cody.

"Good. It's all going to plan." says Wyatt.

"I know. Finally, the Dirt Sheets didn't find out." says Cody.

Wyatt smiles and pats his back

"Good man. I'm gonna go but I'll talk to you later." says Wyatt who walks off.

He walks around the building and then stops when he sees Britt. Wyatt goes up to her.

"Hey Britt." says Wyatt.

"Hey Wyatt." says Britt who smiles.

"How are you doing? Good, I hope." says Wyatt.

"I'm good. I'm better than I have been these past few months but I'm good now." says Britt.

Wyatt smiles and nods. "Good." He says. "I'm happy to hear that. You excited for tonight?"

"I am!" says Britt. "Me and Serena are having our match and we are both very excited!"

"Good. I'm sure it will be great." says Wyatt.

"Thanks." says Britt. "I...I've wanted to say thank you to you. You have been a great friend and a big help these past few months. I really apperciate it."

"Of course Britt. I'm happy to help. You've been there for me before so, it only felt right." says Wyatt.

"It means a lot. Truly." says Britt.

Wyatt nods and smiles. "Well you're welcome. I'm glad I could help." says Wyatt.

"I'm gonna go get ready. I hope you enjoy the match. You better! Or I'll be mad." says Britt with a giggles

Wyatt chuckles and nods. "Yes mam." He says and shakes his head.

Britt giggles and waves as she walks off. Wyatt chuckles more and walks away

Later on...

Pyro shoots out as the crowd cheers loudly! It's time for Double or Nothing!!!

Wyatt sits backstage in gorilla and watches a monitor as JR, Excalibur, and Tony talk.

"We have a great night of action folks! Lots of matches that are guaranteed to be slobber knockers!" says JR

"That's right JR! But to start us off, we have the Casino Ladder match!" says Excalibur.

"Incase you all don't know the Casino Ladder Match, two men or suits will start off. Every few minutes, a new suit will enter. This goes all the way up to the Joker where a mystery opponent will enter." says Tony.

"Let's get right into the action!" says JR

Meanwhile, Britt, Paige, and Tanea are all standing around a monitor.

"You two have any idea who it is?" asks Tanea.

"Not a clue." says Paige.

"Wyatt knows who it is but won't tell me. I have no clue who it is either." says Britt.

Cody Rhodes and Jungle Boy do their entrances and are the first two to start the match.

Later...

All suits have entered. PAC, Brian Cage, Pentagon JR, and Keith Lee have all entered

Cody Rhodes is climbing up the ladder after a brutal, and tough match. The countdown to the Joker starts to play. Cody continues to climb. He picks up the pace but stops when the countdown ends.

"And now...the Joker." says Justin Roberts

"Ohhh I wonder who it is!" says Tanea

Silence is heard until...

The crowd roars loudly and explodes.

"THE HELL?!" yells Tony.

"OH MY GOD! NO WAY" yells Excalibur

James Fatality walks out as the crowd loses their minds.

"Holy shit!" says Tanea.

Paige bites her lip as she looks at the monitor.

"That's crazy! I didn't expect him to come here!" says Britt

She looks over at Paige who can't seem to take her eyes off the screen.

"Paige? Paige? Hello??? Earth to Paige???" says Britt who waves her hanf in front of Paige's face.

"What? Sorry." says Paige.

James looks around before walking down to the ring. Cody starts to climb up the ladder more once he sees James. James rolls in and grabs the ladder and shakes his head at Cody and tips the ladder.

Cody starts to fall and crashes through two bridged ladders!!!!!

"GOOD GOD!!! CODY HAS TO BE DEAD!" yells JR.

James smirks and taunts. Meanwhile, PAC is climbing up to the top rope. James sees this and kicks the top rope making PAC fall on the top. James grabs him around his neck and grins.

"Oh no...This can't be good." says Tony.

James climbs up on the top and smirks as he looks at the timekeepers table. James then tosses PAC off the top and through the table!!!!!

"JESUS! CHOKESLAM THROUGH THE TABLE!!" yells Excalibur

"This is crazy!!!" says JR.

James smirks and gets down as the crowd explodes as Keith Lee appears behind James. The two stare down and smirks. They then run off the ropes amd hit into each other but both men stay standing. They do it again, and again, until the last time, James nails a big boot to Keith, stunning him! James looks at Keith and then runs to the ropes and nails a springboard cutter!!!

"OH MY GOD!" yells Tony. "I'VE NEVER SEEN A BIG MAN DO THAT!!!"

James then turns and grins as he grabs the ladder and positions it. He starts to climb up. James reaches the top and unhooks the chip.

The crowd cheers loudly as James smirks and looks at the poker chip and holds it up high. James climbs down and grins.

Backstage, Wyatt, Cody and Tony all high five at gorilla. Wyatt smirks as James walks through the curtain.

"You did great!!!" says Wyatt

"You really think so?" asks James

"I know so." says Wyatt

The two bro hug and smile at each other before they pull back.

"Thanks man." says James.

"Of course. James you've met Cody and have talked with Tony." says Wyatt.

James shakes Cody and Tony's hands.

"You did amazing!!" says Tony

"Thank you for the opportunity." says James.

"Of course. We are glad to have you here." says Tony.

"Come on." says Wyatt. "Lets introduce you to some people."

After a bit, Wyatt and James walk up to the interview area where Britt, Paige, Tanea, and Alex Marvez are in the process of an interview.

A producer gives them a countdown as the show transitions to the live footage.

"Guys, I am backstage here with the AEW Women's World Champion, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D." says Alex. "Britt you requested this time slot so please."

"Serena Deeb has said these past few weeks that I am nothing without Jamie and Rebel. Well tonight, I'm going to prove her wrong. Girls, I got this on my own. Please, stay in the back." says Britt

"But Britt, are you sure? Serena could pull some trick off." says Jamie "and what i-"

"Jamie. I said I got this. Just stay in the back and let me do this." says Britt

Britt walks out of shot as Jamie and Tanea stand next to Alex

"Get the hell outta here Marvez." says Jamie

Alex sighs and walks off.

The producer cuts it.

Wyatt and James walk up to the girls.

"James, this is Tanea, Britt, and Paige." says Wyatt

"Your debut was....Something else. You did very good." says Paige

"Thank you. I gotta say, you are very beautiful." says James

Paige smiles and blushes.

"Well anyway James, Wyatt has told us alot about you before." says Britt

"Wyatt has told me about you as well Britt." says James

"He has?" says Britt who looks at Wyatt.

"Yep. He however....Never told me much about you." says James to Paige.

Paige blushes more and giggles a little.

Tanea and Britt shake their heads.

"Well, I got a match. See ya guys after." says Britt who walks off.

Later...

The crowd cheers as Serena Deeb walks out.

Serena smiles and looks around before heading down to the ring and going up the steps. She wipes her feet on the apron and enters before then posing.

The crowd cheers loudly as there are a few boos as Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D walks out and poses.

Britt smirks and walks down as pyro rains down from the stage.

A/N: Britt is in her Hart Foundation Pink and Black inspired attire.

Britt goes up the steps and wipes her feet on the apron before entering and holding her belt up high. She hands the belt to Aubrey Edwards as Justin Roberts introduces them.

Justin exits the ring as the bell rings. Britt and Serena stare eachother down.

Later..

After a 20 minute match, both women are laying on the mat exhausted. Both women have traded holds and blow after blow. Britt is favoring her previously injured knee as Serena has been targeting it throughout the match. Britt gets up slowly and picks Serena up. Britt looks for a swinging fisherman's neckbreaker but Serena gets out of it clotheslines Britt hard!

Serena gets up and grabs Britt's legs as she drags her to the middle. Serena steps through her legs and smirks.

"Oh! Taking a page out of the Hart's playbook!" says Excalibur.

"This won't be good for Britt! That knee has been targeted throughout this match and has landed a lot on her back!" says Tony.

Serena looks to go for the Sharpshooter but Britt rolls her up! Serena kicks out! Both women get up. Serena runs at Britt but Britt takes Serena's legs out of her and smirks. Britt steps through her legs and locks in the Sharpshooter!!

Serena yells in pain as she pushes her body off the mat with her hands. Serena reaches for the ropes and starts to crawl but Britt pulls her back to the middle of the ring.

"Is she gonna tap?!?!" yells JR

Serena rolls her body under Britt's legs and pushes her back making her fall down. Serena holds onto Britt's legs and stands up and turns Britt over and locks in her own Sharpshooter!

Britt yells and screams in pain as she pushes off the mat with her hands and she tries to reach the ropes but Serena pulls her to the middle and applies more pressure. Britt keeps fighting through the pain and crawls and crawls until she reaches the ropes and grabs the bottom rope. Serena holds onto the hold a bit as Britt yells in pain more. Serena lets go and looks a little irritated.

"Thjs has been a tough match for Britt. She has been getting her clock cleaned." says Tony.

"Indeed Tony. Britt has looked impressive in these months but...maybe it's due to Jamie Hayter and Rebel." says Excalibur.

Britt gets up slowly. Serena walks to Britt who pushes Serena back and superkicks her!!!

Britt falls back onto Serena and pins her! 1! 2!

Serena kicks out!!!!!

Britt looks stunned and defeated. She gets up slowly and sets Serena up for a Curb Stomp. Britt runs off the ropes, Serena pops up and lariat's Britt so hard she flips onto the mat! Serena calls for the end and picks Britt up but Britt takes Serena down and rolls her up!

Aubrey counts the 1! The 2! And the 3!!!

Britt rolls out of the ring and lays on the ground against the apron holding her knee as Serena looks shocked.

"Britt got her!!" yells Tony.

Britt gets up and is handed her belt. Britt holds it close to her as she limps up the ramp.

"Britt won but, she had to roll Serena up or she wouldn't have a chance at winning!" says Excalibur.

Later...

Wyatt is walking out of the arena when he sees Britt, Paige, and Tanea are standing out of the arena.

"Hey! Wyatt!" says Britt.

Wyatt stops and looks at them.

"We are going to the hotel bar for some drinks. You wanna come? You can just get water." says Britt who giggles.

Wyatt smiles and chuckles. "Sure."

"James can come too! If...he uh, wants to." says Paige.

"I'll ask him." says Wyatt who goes to his car and texts James.

Wyatt gets in and drives to the Hotel. There he meets up with James and the girls. They all head inside and go to the bar. They all order drinks and go to a table and sit down.

"So tell us James, how did you and Wyatt meet?" asks Britt.

"Well, I was in Japan for a long time in my career but sometimes I went up to the UK for Progress, WCPW, ICW, and more. I met Wyatt at a Progress show." says James.

"This was when I was back on my excursion in the UK and Japan." says Wyatt.

"Yep. We became best friends in Japan though and both of us eventually went back to America and signed with WWE." says James

"That's so cool!" says Britt

"Soooo tell me James...How was Japan? I can't believe I never saw you there." says Paige. "I really wish I did." says Paige under her breath.

"What was that?" asks Tanea

"Nothing." says Paige.

"Japan was awesome. It's a home away from home for me. I love the culture, the cities, the people. Just everything about it. Also, I've seen your stuff and heard of you. Me and Wyatt actually went to a Stardom show and saw you. You were very impressive." says James who looks at Paige and winks.

Wyatt, Britt, and Tanea roll their eyes.

Paige blushes and smiles. "Thank you."

"So....Anything new with anyone?" asks Wyatt.

"Not really. Just enjoying life." says Tanea with a smile

"I've just been doing stuff at my office and here." says Britt.

"Paige?" asks Wyatt.

"Nope. James?" asks Paige

"Well besides signing here, I've been working out more, and streaming." says James.

"How about you Wyatt?" asks Britt.

"I've been streaming and making content for Youtube. Editing takes a lot of my time." says Wyatt with a chuckle. "But I've been enjoying it."

"Nice!" says Britt.

After a bit, James, Paige, and Tanea all head up to their rooms. Wyatt and Britt remain at the table.

"So, How have you been?" asks Wyatt.

"Good. Better." says Britt

"I'm glad. I'm happy your well." says Wyatt.

"Thanks. You really helped me out over the months. You were always there for me. I apperciate it." says Britt.

"No problem." says Wyatt.

Wyatt puts his hand on Britt's and rubs it as he smiles at her and looks her in her eyes.Britt looks right back into Wyatt's eyes until...

"Hey! You two! Closing time you don't have to go home but you can't stay here." says the Bartender.

Wyatt and Britt look at each other. Britt moves her hand and grabs her purse.

"This was fun. I'll see ya soon Wy." says Britt.

Wyatt is shocked when Britt calls him a nickname she hadn't called him in years. He smiles and blushes.

"I'll see ya Britt." says Wyatt who smiles and watches Britt walk off.

Wyatt gets up and smiles and heads to the elevator.

Once he's inside, he blushes and can't stop thinking about it. He rubs his neck and smiles.
