"What happen Jimin?" Yoongi asks the next day as they sit across from each other at the table.
Jimin shrugs his shoulders as he stares at his plate. "I'm not hungry."
"Fine." Yoongi stands taking Jimin's plate from him.
"I'm sorry." Jimin mumbles as Yoongi dumps the plate into the garbage.
"It's alright." Yoongi says. "Later maybe."
"Yeah. Later." Jimin says standing and pushing his chair in.
"What's bothering you?" Yoongi asks again.
"Nothing." Jimin says. "I'm fine."
"You can tell me what's bothering you." Yoongi says.
"Did you call my mom and tell her we'd be there this weekend?" Jimin asks ignoring Yoongi's comment.
"Oh yeah. I called last night." Yoongi says.
"Alright good." Jimin says. "I should get going."
"Do you want me to walk with you?" Yoongi asks.
"No it's fine. I kinda wanna be alone for a bit." Jimin says.
Yoongi's expression changes to one of hurt. "Oh alright."
"I'll be back." Jimin says cursing himself mentally for making Yoongi feel bad.
Jimin leaves the kitchen going into his room and getting dressed. He's grateful that the weather has finally started getting cooler and he doesn't look like a complete idiot wearing almost six layers of clothes.
Jimin leaves the flat without another word to Yoongi not wanting to face his disappointed eyes again.

"Why is that bothering you Jimin?"
"I don't know. I just really don't want to go to my mom's. Not like this." Jimin says. "And I know it isn't fair to anyone that I avoid her because I can't get my own shit together."
"You're afraid of what your mother will think of you after your weight loss?" Namjoon questions
"Yeah. She hasn't seen me since I was...she hasn't seen me in ages." Jimin says. "And I already know what she's gonna say."
"And what's that?"
"That I'm too skinny." Jimin says.
"Do you believe you're too skinny Jimin?" Namjoon asks.
"No. But that's what everyone else thinks." Jimin says.
"Who's everyone else Jimin?" Namjoon asks his head tilting in practiced concern.
"You. Yoongi. Jin and I know its what my friends think." Jimin says. "Everyone around is just trying to fix me and I don't think I'm broken."
"I think the people around you just want what's best for you. I know I do." Namjoon says with a comforting smile.
"Doesn't matter." Jimin says. "My mom is different than the people around me."
"How so?"
"Because unlike the people around me she's not afraid to hurt my feelings." Jimin says adjusting his hair so it's out of his eyes.
"Maybe seeing your mother will be good for you. Going to your childhood home where there are good memories."
"The only good memory I have is of the day I moved out." Jimin says.
"I'm sure there are more if you really thought about it." Namjoon chuckles.
"Right." Jimin says. "If you say so."
"Visit with your mother Jimin. And even if things don't go to plan you'll be glad you went."

"How'd it go?" Yoongi calls from the lounge when Jimin enters the flat.
"Fine." Jimin calls back following Yoongi's voice to the lounge.
"Anything interesting happen?" Yoongi asks looking up from his laptop.
"Namjoon just told me that it'd be a good idea to go to my mom's over the holidays." Jimin says sitting down next to Yoongi.
Yoongi closes his laptop and puts his arm around Jimin.
"That's good." Yoongi smiles.
"I guess." Jimin says. "I just don't want to ruin her holiday."
"I think not going would make her more upset than going." Yoongi says.
"Yeah?" Jimin asks.
"Yeah." Yoongi says. "And if you get too uncomfortable I promise we can leave."
"It'll be fine. I hope." Jimin says. "It is my mother."
"Yeah. And if you want me to I can talk to her before we go." Yoongi offers.
"No. That's alright." Jimin says not wanting to put Yoongi in and uncomfortable situation. "I'll be fine."
Yoongi takes Jimin's hand in his. "I love you. I've always loved you."
"I love you too." Jimin says.
"We should start packing. We leave soon." Yoongi says.
"We will." Jimin says putting off the simple task.
Yoongi smiles knowing Jimin won't pack his bags until the last possible minute.
