Jimin walks into the kitchen finding Yoongi leaning against the counter with a blank expression on his face.

He walks past him not paying him any mind as he grabs himself a water from the refrigerator.

  "Jimin." Yoongi says finally just as Jimin is leaving.

Jimin sighs inwardly. "Yes?"

  "Can I talk to you?" Yoongi asks.

  "Right now?" Jimin asks in no mood to talk about anything.

  "Yes. What's wrong with right now?" Yoongi asks his voice weary.

  "I'm tired Yoongi and I just really don't feel like it." Jimin says.

  "Your always tired." Yoongi says his voice still low and inanimate.

  "Okay. Fine." Jimin says sitting his water down. "What do you want to talk about?"

Jimin's expression pisses Yoongi off to another dimension. And he has absolutely no idea why it makes him so upset.

  "You know what. Nevermind Jimin. Just forget about it." Yoongi says but instead of his voice sounding angry its shallow and broken as he stands up straight to leave the room.

  "Seriously. What is it." Jimin asks again.

  "It obviously doesn't mean anything to you." Yoongi says not letting his broken eyes meet his.

"And you say that because?" Jimin asks.

  "You don't care." Yoongi shrugs turning to leave. "You never care."

  "Okay. Whatever Yoongi." Jimin mumbles under his breath.

Yoongi sighs as he leaves the kitchen. He's almost gotten used to feeling alone. Almost.

Jimin puts his water back in the fridge before going to the lounge.
He's almost gotten used to the mercilessness of the voice in his head. Almost.

But, as it has been written so many times.

Almost is never enough.

Its like literally every conversation Jimin and Yoongi start with one another ends in an argument or disagreement of some kind.

Yoongi much rather not talk to Jimin at all if everything he says will be turned against him so he just avoids him. But he can't help the worry that courses through him every now and then and he can't help but ask if he's alright.

He says he's fine but its clearly obvious that he isn't fine. And it scares Yoongi. No. Jimin doesn't scare him. Just what he's doing to himself.

Jimin doesn't avoid Yoongi because he doesn't want to argue. He avoids him because the voice tells him he hurts everyone around him. And that if he got too close he'd hurt Yoongi the most. And he doesn't want to hurt him. Jimin hopes that through all the arguing that Yoongi sees he's only trying to protect him.

There's a knock on Jimin's door. Not very common after almost a week without speaking to Yoongi.

  "What?" Jimin calls through the door.

The door cracks open and Yoongi pops his head in.

  "I was just checking on you." Yoongi says.

  "Oh. Okay. I'm fine." Jimin says.

  "You haven't left your room in while." Yoongi says. "You haven't eaten."

Jimin's eyes fall shut and he heaves a sigh through his nose.

Yoongi's voice is calm and caring, he really isn't trying to pick a fight.

   "Jimin?" Yoongi asks crossing his arms.

  "I'm fine Yoongi. Really." Jimin says. But of course he isn't. He's weak and he's tired and he barley has the strength to even sit up.

  "Jimin I-" Yoongi starts his voice still low.

  "Please don't argue with me Yoongi." Jimin says, he can't handle a argument right now. He can't handle the hurt in Yoongi's eyes that's there all because of him.

  "I'm not." Yoongi says. "But you're not even...you're not even going to try?"

Jimin shrugs his shoulder. Why should he try? Just to keep ruining everything? That's all he does isn't it? Ruin everything.

  "Jimin?" Yoongi says. "Did you forget what I said?"

  "No I just. I just didn't think you cared anymore." Jimin says looking down at his hands.

  "I do." Yoongi says. "I do care."

Jimin doesn't respond.

  "But you have to care too." Yoongi says.

Jimin nods but he's barely listening as he tries to block out every negative thought that runs through his mind.

Jimin doesn't notice when Yoongi leaves, his mind too occupied with his thoughts. Of course.

When he does notice he stands to follow him.

  "Yoongi. I know it doesn't seem like it but-" Jimin stands in Yoongi's doorway as he watches Yoongi stuff things he might need in a backpack.  "What are you doing?"

Yoongi shakes his head. "I can't do this Jimin."

  "Do what?" Jimin asks as Yoongi moves around him and into the hallway bearing his backpack in hand.

  "I have to go." Yoongi says trying to keep his voice from cracking.

  "Yoongi-"

  "No. Jimin. No. I just. I keep trying with you. And I'm tired of it." Yoongi says sternly.

  "But we-"

  "Stop Jimin. Just stop." Yoongi says.

  "Your leaving." Jimin says as if the fact just hit him.

  "Yes. I have to do what's right Jimin. And not for you, for me. I have to do what's right for me." Yoongi says.

  "I don't get it." Jimin says his voice too low to hear but Yoongi still somehow catches it.

  "I'm leaving because I can't take this anymore. I can't take any of this and its not your fault. God I know its not your fault but Jimin-" Yoongi sighs as tears finally fill Jimin's eyes.

  "Yoongi I-..." Jimin trails off biting the inside of his mouth.

Let him go. We don't need him. We don't need anybody Jimin.

  "I'm sorry." Jimin finally says letting his tears fall down his face.

Yoongi bites his tongue as he walks towards the front door.

  "Yoongi please." Jimin says ignoring everything else.

Yoongi stops with a sigh. "I can't Jimin." He turns and both their broken eyes meet. "I can't help you anymore. I tried. I've really tried Jimin and-...I'm tired."

Jimin breaks eye contact looking pass Yoongi as his throat tightens more than it already is.

  "I love you Jimin. I've always loved you." Yoongi says as he turns away from him.

  "Please." Jimin says grabbing Yoongi's arm. "I'll do whatever you want me to Yoongi please."

  "You keep s-"

  "N-no. I mean it this time I swear. I-I don't- I'll go to hospital if you want me t-to. I-I'll do whatever you want me to Yoongi please." Jimin stutters ignoring his head.

Yoongi's stops trying to pull away from him. "You'd go to hospital?"

  "Yes." Jimin says his voice more doubtful as he confirms.

  "Jimin." Yoongi sighs. "I can't keep doing this."

Jimin's face is full of sadness and hope as he lets go of Yoongi's arm but he doesn't say a word as Yoongi stands there looking at him.

  "Promise me." Yoongi says hating how quickly he gives in.

  "I promise." Jimin says but this time he knows he has to mean it. He can't go back on this and he can't forget about it. He has to do this. For Yoongi.

  "Promise me Jimin." Yoongi says taking Jimin's face in his hands. "Promise me."

  "I promise Yoongi." Jimin says. "I promise."
