Omniscient

Jaron sat in his office chair fuming. Not only had he loss almost half of his traps but almost a million dollars worth of product and money. To top it off, his right hand man and brother was gone.

"Imma kill this nigga" he mumbled to himself.

At this point he was so close to throwing in the towel. He felt as if he couldn't get a break, his sisters were gone, his brother was gone, all he had left was a half ass security team.

And by half, he really meant half because half of his team was either dead or injured. His phone rung; "speak"

"Boss I have a location on their safe house"

"Good work, send me the location I'll head there now, have a team meet me out there."

"Bet"

The call ended and Jaron rose from his chair. While heading towards the door a barrage of gunfire sounded in the air. He walked back behind his desk and pulled up the cameras.

This is when he saw soldiers surrounding the land, Jason and his guys were sweeping the area.

Jaron removed a painting and pulled his 223 out of the space in the wall. He watched the cameras as they cleared each room.

Jaron watched as they approached his office door. The security team kicked his door in, as soon as the door flew open he pressed a button that shut all of the lights off in the home.

"What the-"

Before anyone knew it bullets were flying. All Jason and his crew could do was take cover outside the door and shoot back blindly.

"Y'all motherfuckers thought y'all was gonna catch me slipping huh" Jaron yelled over the gunfire.

"Fuck you lil nigga, turn the lights on. Let's see what you really bout" Jasper replied.

Gunfire continued, no one really knew what they were hitting but they all had extended clips and were planning to empty them.

"Aaaaahhhhh, I'm hit!" was the next thing heard over the shots.

Back at the safe house....

Jurianna rose out of bed because her stomach was growling so loud. No one ever told her pregnancy came with these crazy cravings.

Of course she knew a little about it because she was around Toya, but she thought she was just exaggerating.

Right now she was craving peanut butter, pickles, and hot Cheetos all together. So here she was heading to the kitchen. She entered and turned the lights on jumping when she saw Strap sitting there at the table.

"You scared me Strap" she said holding her chest.

"My bad J, what you doing up?"

She had to do a double take; it was very rare for him to talk, but her and Ri were his favorites so sometimes he talked to them more than anyone else.

"I'm hungry, my little nugget going crazy in here" she stated, rubbing her belly and heading towards the refrigerator.

The alarm beeped signaling that someone was entering the house. One of the soldiers walked through the home and entered the kitchen. "Strap we-" he paused when he noticed Jurianna.

"How you doing Juri, could I borrow Strap really quick" he asked scratching his neck.

She shrugged "sure, I just came to get my snacks, I'm heading back to my room now."

She grabbed her snacks and walked back into towards the hallway and into her bedroom.

Strap nodded for the soldier to continue; "we have a problem. The grounds have been infiltrated. We are not sure how many people are on the grounds, but they are here."

As soon as those words came out of his mouth gunfire broke through the air. Strap ran to the intercom; "code black, code black!"

Jurianna was the first one out of her room; "what's going on?" She asked with a worried expression.

"Grab Toya and the baby, y'all head upstairs to the panic room. Don't worry about nothing, we got this. We have enough men to protect you all" the soldier replied as he and Strap grabbed their weapons and made their way outside.

Kiari couldn't sleep, something was keeping her up so she heard the code call and stepped out of her room with her gun drawn.

Her, Mani, and the kids rooms were all upstairs so she made sure the halls were clear before she went into Imani's room.

She shook her awake and told her to swiftly get the kids and bring them to the panic room. Moving as one they each had their guns trained, Mani went into the kids room while Ri went to wake Sophie.

Within a minute they were all in the hallway and Juri and Toya were coming up the stairs. Toya was holding Israel tight in her arms with a worried look on her face.

"We will be fine, we planned for this" Kiari assured them.

"Let's move" Mani said as she led them down the hallway and into the office. She walked over to the bookcase and removed a book exposing a staircase.

She allowed the kids and Sophie, Toya and Israel, then Juri up the stairs which led to the panic room. It was a very spacious room set up like a sleepover room just so the kids wouldn't be confused.

Mani laid Jewel in the bed while JJ climbed in the bed next to her and reached his arms out for Rel. "He's to small JJ, I will place his bassinet right here next to y'all though."

JJ nodded and yawned. He was so overprotective of his little sister and cousin.

Little did the women know he already knew what this room was, his dad and uncles brought him up here a few days before they left.

They told him that if at anytime they were brought here then he was in charge of protecting the little ones.

Although he was only five years old he was smart for his age. Just like his dad he had an overprotective gene and would always watch over his family.

His dad and uncles told him that he was the man of the house while they were gone so he was gonna keep an eye on them by all means.

The women all walked into the weapons room and watched on the cameras as their team went to war with some of Jaron's team.

"How the hell did they find us" Juri mumbled.

"I don't know but we have to prepare ourselves to protect our kids. Juri we need you with the kids. We can't have you out in danger." Imani replied.

Juri nodded and headed back into the room to be with Sophie and the kids. She walked over to each one of them and kissed their foreheads softly.

"I love you TeeTee J" JJ said looking into her eyes.

"I love you too JJ" she smiled and rubbed his head, get some rest.

He shook his head swiftly and furrowed his eyebrows. "TeeTee I'm the man of the house, I gotta protect everyone" he explained.

"Says who JJ?" she asked furrowing her eyebrows.

"My dad and uncles" he shrugged.

Juri chuckled because he looked just like his daddy in this moment.

Toya looked closely and couldn't believe her eyes; "no this motherfucker didn't"

"What is it?" Kiari asked focusing on the camera Toya was fixed on.

"It's Myles" she paused the camera and zoomed in on the soldier that was clearly on Jaron's team.
