2 days later .....

Toya and I were taking Kiari out so that she could get out of the house. Every since the accident she had been stuck up in there, not really wanting to leave.

"Where are we ggooiinngg" she groaned as we got into my truck.

"We taking you to see your man first then we gonna go get something to eat because my baby hungry" Toya replied while rubbing her stomach.

I mugged her; "don't be blaming my niece for yo fat ass being hungry"

"Bitch who asked you" she laughed. "And MY SON is hungry, don't do him"

"Yea yea, what y'all wanna eat" I asked as we pulled up to a red light.

"I want some wings, can we just get something quick and go back to my house" Ri asked.

Sighing I said; "I guess, what's up with you wanting to be in the house?"

"Bitch you try being in a coma for 12 hours then come tell me bout wanting to be in the house. If I wanna go home then I wanna go home" she replied as she texted on her phone.

I cocked my head to the side and eyed her. "Yo ass need some dick"

"yO aSs NeEd SoMe DiCk, oh hush" she said making a stank face.

Toya burst out laughing, like laughing so hard that she was holding her stomach.

"First of all it ain't even that funny, second of all keep playing with me Kiari"

"Yea yea, I'm going to see my man" she said as she exited the car and entered the building.

"So when she suppose to be going to handle ole girl?" Toya asked.

"Ion know but she better go before I do." I shrugged

"Why she prolonging it, when I find this bitch Luckie was fucking with I ain't wasting no time" she said matter of factly.

"You ain't doing shit, let us handle that"

"Bu-"

"But nothing, I told you I got it"

"Well y'all taking to long" she mumbled.

"I'm sorry, what was that" I said cupping my ear.

"Nothing, just hurry it up, I'm getting impatient."

Kiari returned to the car smiling big. "Can we get Jamaican food? I want more oxtails" she said buckling her seat belt.

"The hell you smiling so hard for?" I asked side eyeing her.

"You gone turn into some Jamaican food" Toya said giggling

"Mind your business" she pointed at me. "And you got jokes Toya?" She side eyed her.

We both raised our hands in surrender. "Whatever , let's just go get the food" Ri chuckled.

I pulled out of the parking lot heading to our favorite Jamaican restaurant "Kemper's" on Metropolitan. 30 minutes later we were pulling up.

"I swear the hood have the best food!" I said as we all hopped out of the car.

"Right, like that's the only reason I miss living in the hood." Ri said.

We all laughed and entered the restaurant. Once we ordered our food we sat down and begin to eat. About 5 minutes into our food a light skin chick walked in on her phone.

We were sitting by at table closest to the door so I caught a part of her conversation. I'm not sure what the other person was saying but I could see her face go soft and then she became nervous.

"Jaron I told you I don't know where she is." she said "Ke don't tell me every where she go!"

Whatever the other person was saying must've pissed her off; "I know I was the last one with her, we both left the mall and went our separate ways."

By now I had stopped listening and focused back on eating my food. "Call in order for Jaslyn" the lady at the cash register called out.

Immediately all 3 pairs of eyes shot up to the direction of the cash register to see who would claim the food. Low and behold it was the same light skin chick that walked in the door.

"I know this not- nnaaa that ain't her" Toya said shaking her head. "He couldn't have cheated with this bitch!" She was now getting visibly upset.

"Nah my brother ain't go out like that"  Ri said eyeing the female as we gathered our things and headed out of the restaurant.

As we were getting into the car a red BMW whipped into the parking lot and stopped right behind my truck. The dude inside hopped out and walked quickly inside.

"This motherfucker must not want this damn car, I will run this bitch over" I said.

Not even a minute later he walked back out with the girl walking next to him. They walked pass the driver side door and all I heard was "how you know she missing, you know Keasia."

Oh hell nah, this is the bitch.

The two stood outside his car still talking like he just wasn't blocking my shit in. I crunk my car up and the roar of the engine seemed to grab their attention.

He hopped in the car and pulled into a parking spot. As I pulled out he yelled; "my bad ma" loud enough for me to hear through my window. I nodded my head in return.

"That was her" I said to Toya and Ri

"TURN THIS BITCH AROUND" Toya yelled turning around in her seat looking through the back window at the parking lot.

"Na, I got a picture of her. Imma show it to Debo, have him find her and trail her for a few days. We gotta be smart about this, which is why you can't be involved. You let ya emotions take over" I replied pulling onto the street.

"What you mean I can't be involved? But Ri can have a hand in her shit. I'm not a fucking child, I can handle my own shit!" She huffed and folded her arms.

"Don't put me in this shit! Plus YOU FUCKING PREGNANT! Or did you forget that?" Ri twisted up her lip.

"What the fuck ever, take me the fuck home" Toya replied.

"Don't nobody care about ya damn attitude. You wanna lose your baby? Cause that's what the fuck gonna happen if you put the stress of this bitch on yourself." I asked

"Whatever" Toya replied.

The rest of the ride was silent until we pulled up to my house.

"Didn't I say take me the fuck home?"  Toya asked.

"Girl shut the hell up, you know damn well you don't wanna go home, you just mad." Ri giggled.

"Yes the fuck I do!" Toya huffed and folded her arms across her chest.

"Okay I guess you don't wanna help us plan all this shit out" I shrugged and walked back to the car.

"You're right I don't" She said rolling her eyes.

"Ion know if I can deal with this damn attitude for 6 more months" Ri said hopping back in the car.

"Then don't, the fuck"

"Look here I'm finna take ya ass home, kill the attitude" I said.

"You need some fucking dick" Ri said laughing hard.

"Kiari shut the fuck up, with ya cobwebs" Toya said mugging her. Ri just laughed, not even feeling offended because she knew it was just her hormones talking. 20 minutes later we pulled up to Toya and Luckie's house.

Toya hopped out and slammed my car door.

"GO GIVE MY BROTHER SOME PUSSY GIRL! LOVE YOU BABY MAMA!" Ri yelled through the car window.

"AND STOP SLAMMING MY FUCKING DOOR! LOVE YOU LOTS THICKNESS" I yelled.

Toya shot up the middle finger and walked into the house. Ri and I burst out laughing.

"Okay all jokes aside, let's figure this shit out because I plan on paying Kaleidoscope a visit tomorrow" Ri said getting serious.

I chuckled because this bitch is dumb; "Bet"
