2 weeks later .....

Juri

Kiari and I were standing outside of our building watching the firefighters put out the roaring flames. We had got the call from Jasper's uncle; a police officer who responded to our alarms going off in the building. When he arrived not even 5 minutes after the call the entire building was up in flames.

"Who the fuck would do this shit" I asked as I paced the sidewalk back and forth. I was furious.

"I don't fucking know but whoever it is gotta die, simple" she replied

"EXACTLY! Not only do we have to replace the building but all the shit we had inside! People's products! You know how much money we finna have to dish out!" I said as I pounded my fist into the palm of my hands.

"I'll call my tech guy, we will view the cameras on the street lights to see what happened. We will also go to the bank and have them write up checks for every company to replace their products." Kiari replied calmly.

I'm surprised she wasn't losing her shit by now considering the fact that shit has been happening randomly for months now.

It all started with ole girl at Flying Biscuit, then her flat tires, random packages popping up at her house, and her feeling like she was being watched. Just all kinds of shit.

"How are you so calm?" I asked watching Kiari as she seemed to be in deep thought.

"I'm just replaying all this shit in my head, all this weird shit didn't start happening until I started fucking with Jasper ass. I'm finna find out what's really going on" she said as she walked towards her car.

"You don't think he got anything to do with this do you?" I asked in disbelief. I honestly don't think he could ever hurt Kiari. She was definitely jumping the gun.

"Ion know man" she said sighing deeply. "He just seems to good to be true."

"I honestly don't think he would ever do anything to hurt you" I stated honestly. "Something's telling me this all has something to do with ole girl from Flying Biscuit a few months ago"

"But for what, I don't even know that bitch, I never seen her before that day. Why would she have beef with me?"

Just then Jasper's uncle walked over to us. "So they got the fire out but the inside is completely burned, nothing could be saved" he stated

"That's cool, y'all know how it started?" Kiari asked

"It seems as if there was an accelerant, meaning it was definitely intentional. I see you have cameras up there you wanna take a look at them?" He replied pointing to the street lights.

"Yes we have a guy, thank you" I replied smiling.

"Ain't a problem. We family at this point." he said shrugging. "My nephew said give him a call Ms. Kiari"

"Yes sir" she replied smiling.

"Okay you ladies have a good day, call me if y'all ever need me" He said as he gave us both a hug and walked to his car.

"Come on let's go to the hookah lounge, I need a drink." Kiari said as we both got into our cars.

Kiari

After leaving the property I called my lawyer up so that we could draw up paper work for the businesses we were branding for. I never wanted to mess up my professional relationship with my clients so I always made sure to stay on top of everything.

After getting off the phone with the lawyer I called Jasper;

KingJas🤤: "Hey baby, are you okay?"

"No" I pouted. "I'm so stressed out, I don't understand why all this shit keeps happening"

KingJas🤤: "I will fix it, don't stress it"

"How are you gonna fix it?"

KingJas🤤: "don't worry about it. You trust me?

"Yes"

KingJas🤤: "ok then just know I got you. Don't stress anymore, alright?"

"Alright" I sighed

KingJas🤤: "I mean it Ri! What you about to do?"

"Aallrriigghhtt! And I'm on my way to you, I wanna smoke some hookah and get some drinks after this day"

KingJas🤤: "Okay coo, I'll see you when you get here. Come straight to my office"

"K, I'll be there in like 15 minutes"

KingJas🤤: "Bet, I'll see you then beautiful."

I smiled as we said our goodbyes. I allowed my music to start back playing as I drove towards the hookah lounge. I was singing along to "Angel of Mine" by Monica when I noticed a car following to close behind me. I sped up a little because I kind of was going slow unintentionally but as I did so did the car.

"Hey Siri" I waited for a response as I sped up some more. "Call Juri" as the phone rung the car rammed into the back of my car.

"Hello" I heard Juri say

"AAAHHHH WHAT THE FUCK!" I screamed as the car continued to ram the back of my car.

"Kiari what's going on?" Juri asked in a panic

"Jurianna where are you? There is a car ra-" before I could finish I felt my car hit the side rail of the road and start to flip. It felt like I was flipping for ages before the car finally came to a stop on its back and I loss consciousness.

I hurriedly replaced the nozzle of the gas pump in its place and jumped in my car heading in the direction of the hookah lounge. I wasn't sure what was going on but I heard Kiari screaming and that's all it took for me to spring into action.

Doing 90 in a 55 I rounded a corner where I saw people standing over a hill looking downwards. "No, no, no" I said to myself. I swerved my car to the side of the road and hopped out running to see what everyone was looking at.

When I made it to the hill and looked down my heart completely stopped. All I saw was my cousin's car flipped upside down and smoking as men tried to help her out.

I ran back to the car to grab my phone to call Jasper. He was the closest one to us considering the fact that Tango and Luckie were out of town again.

Jasper💯: "what's up Ju-"

Crying hysterically I cut him off; "Jas you have to hurry, it's Ri she's, she's-"

Jasper💯: "SHE'S WHAT JURI? WHAT HAPPENED? WHERE ARE YA'LL?" he asked with panic evident in his voice

"I don't know what happened, we were on the way to you, I needed to stop and get gas. Next thing I know she calls me. She was screaming Jas! I hurried and left the gas station heading in the direction of the spot and I see a crowd on the side of the road. I hopped out and ran to where they were and I see her car" I paused

Jasper💯: "her car? What about her car? Come on man stop playing with me"

"I'm not Jasper. Her car, it's flipped upside down and smoking re-"

Jasper💯: "Where y'all at, I'm on my way"

I could literally hear him cranking his car up and screeching out of the parking lot

"We are right here off of Fayetteville Rd, as soon as you hit the bend you should see all the people and the ambulance, they just arrived. Please hurry, I'm scared"

Jasper💯: "you gotta stay calm lil cuz, I'll be there in 5 minutes"

"Okay" I replied sniffling. We ended our call and I watched helplessly as they got Kiari out of her car and started to place her on the stretcher.

I ran over to her. "Ma'am we need you to stay back" one of the paramedics said holding his hand out to stop me. I pushed his hand and mugged the hell out of him.

"Don't touch me, this is my cousin, I'm not going no damn where"

"Ma'am we need to get her stabilized, please step back" he stated; trying to push me back again.

"If you wanna keep that arm play boy I suggest you keep it to yourself" I heard Jasper's voice behind me and spun around quickly.

I guess the guy didn't wanna test his luck so he walked away holding his hands up in surrender.

"Jas, she's wasn't moving when they brought her out of the car. I shouldn't have left her, I should've stayed with her and waited to get gas. I should've told her to come with me. THIS IS ALL MY FAULT" I screamed as tears mixed with snot ran down my face. At this point I didn't give a fuck about how I looked.

"Calm down Juri, it was not your fault. Imma figure this shit out. Follow the ambulance to the hospital. I'll be right behind you Okay?" Jasper said

"Okay" I sniffled and watched them finish loading my cousin into the back of the ambulance.

I walked slowly back towards my car. Everyone was looking at me; "WHAT THE FUCK YALL LOOKING AT! YALL AIN'T NEVER SEEN A BITCH CRY BEFORE DAMN!!!" I screamed at they nosey asses.

As I approached my car, something caught my eye; or should I say someone.

"This bitch! I swear imma kill her ass" I said as I stared dead at "Susan" from Flying Biscuit. She smirked at me and pulled off.
