Luckie sat attentively watching Toya as she played with the strands of her hair. She was nervous, which he didn't understand why because he was the one that fucked up.

He reached over the lift her chin but she moved out of his reach. He couldn't be upset at that gesture so he just placed his hands back in front of himself.

Taking a deep breath he started to speak; "listen LaToya I'm sorry for fucking us up, she didn't and will never mean anything to me."

With that revelation her eyes met his, she was surprised that he admitted it. Well as much as he did say because he didn't actually say that he fucked someone else.

She eyed him for a second then averted her eyes. "Why?" She asked as her voice cracked. As much as she was tired of crying this pregnancy had her very emotional.

Luckie ran his hand down his face because he hated to see her cry. He could just drop dead right now for breaking her down like this.

She wiped her tears and started to talk again; "you know what I don't even wanna know why, more like how long?"

"A month" he said looking into her eyes so that she knew he was telling the truth.

She shook her head; "So one month is worth a 10+ year friendship and a 5 year relationship?"

"Not at all, I'm not gonna make excuses for my actions. I know I fucked up and I can understand if you wanna leave me" He said as a tear slipped from his eye.

He didn't wanna look like a bitch but it was truly hurting him to have this conversation about her leaving. He ran his hand down his face again hoping that she didn't catch the tear.

She did but she didn't give a fuck at this point. She reached into her bag and Luckie tensed up; he knew she kept a gun in her purse.

His heart started to beat fast, he wasn't even gonna stop her because in reality he had been dead this entire week without her. So if she had to be the one to take his life at least a real nigga had killed him.

He released the breath he was holding as she held the manila envelope towards him.

"Before you open this I want you to know that this doesn't change anything. For right now I'm still leaving. I have me a condo in the same building as Ri on the same floor. Strap will move out of his apartment and let me stay there." LaToya stated as she rose from the bar to go pack.

Luckie wasn't gonna rebuttal her on that. She had clearly made her mind up, she was entirely to calm. He stared at the envelope wondering what could be inside.

Before he opened it she reappeared in the kitchen, "what's her name?"

"Why LaToya? Tha-"

"Luckie today ain't the day to play with me. What's the bitch name?" she asked calmly.

She was only this calm when she was mad as fuck so he knew not to test her. Sighing he replies "Jaslyn, her name is Jaslyn"

"Bet" and with that she walked away and up the stairs.

Sighing deeply he opened the envelope and emptied the contents. His eyes immediately trained on the ultrasound pictures.

His heart dropped; "damn" was all he could say. He removed his self from the bar stool and made his way up the stairs in search of Toya.

I felt like shit knowing I cheated on my girl while she carrying my seed. I definitely couldn't let her walk away now.

At first I was gonna let her have her time but now that I knew she was pregnant I felt the need to protect her and my baby.

"How long have you known about this?" I asked as I entered the bedroom. She was still packing and it broke my heart into pieces.

"Two months" she replied nonchalantly

"So what we gonna do? You still gonna leave me even though you're carrying my child?"

"To be honest Isaiah I don't know, all I know right now is that I need some space" she rolled her eyes.

Sighing I said "I need you"

"You don't need me, if that was the case you wouldn't have did what you did. I quit my job because that man was coming on to me but you couldn't do the same? Where's the loyalty? It took only 3 months of us being apart for you to step out on me, and for what?"

He looked down at the floor.

"Exactly you don't even have a valid reason. Never has it crossed my mind to cheat on you, and trust me I could've done the shit hella times. But for what when you give me the world? There ain't nothing another nigga can do for me that you can't. I see now that you don't have the same mindset" she said as she sat on the bed.

"As far as this baby, we will be the best parents possible, I will inform you on all appointments so you can be included, whether or not you come is up to you."

"Why wouldn't I come Toya." I asked stale facing her

"Hell you might be with ya side bitch, ion know shit" she said and walked into the bathroom.

"Fuck her"

"You did that already, that's why we here" she shrugged.

I smacked my teeth and started to put her bags into the closet.

"What are you doing?" She came out of the bathroom grabbing the bags from me.

"I know you need your space and that's cool but don't leave the house completely. You can go to the other side, another floor, something. Just please, please don't leave me" I was literally on my knees begging her to stay.

"Why should I?" She asked with a raised eyebrow

"I know I betrayed your trust but look it was the first and last time. I haven't even talked to the girl since this shit happened. I'll even go change my number, whatever you want me to do; I'll do it." I stated with pleading eyes.

"Isaiah I don't trust you anymore, you can't have a relationship without trust"

"We can build it back. I'm not saying take me back right now, give me a chance to prove to you, to prove to my family that this is where I want to be" I said placing my hand on her stomach

She stared at me in my eyes trying to gage whether or not I was being truthful. I knew she realized I was because her face softened.

"Please LaToya, I just wanna be here for you and my child. You want me to kill her? I will" I said in all seriousness.

She knew I was dead serious too, she knew that all it took was for her to say the word and anybody could be gone.

"Na, see that's already handled. You shouldn't have even risked homegirl life like that. You know what I'm capable of and you still let her sign her death certificate. As for what I want you to do? You go stay in ya man cave until further notice. Just like this your shit, it's mine too and I'll be damned if I let a bitch run me out my shit" she replied and walked back into the bathroom and started a bath.

Nodding I said "I can do that, but what you mean by you handled that. Don't be doing shit while you carrying my daughter.."

"First of all, don't worry about it, just know the shit is handled. Secondly, I'm having a son, ion know what you talking about." she mugged me.

"What you mean don't worry about it? Of cou-

"Of course what? You gone worry about it if it gotta do with me? You wasn't worried about me when you was fucking the bitch."

She was getting mad all over again and I could tell so I left it alone. Besides I know all she did was tell Ri & Juri the girl name so that they could handle it.

When it came to her those two would go to hell and back. They'll do anything to protect Toya and whatever she said goes. So if she wanted shawty dead, shawty was dead and there was nothing I could really do about it.

Surprisingly those two are the most ruthless out of the crew simply because you would least expect it from women that look as good as them.

Let me tell you, they lil asses some merciless motherfuckers. They ain't got they hands dirty in years so I know it's finna get crazy.

"Alright LaToya you got it." I said entering my closet and grabbing things I would need to take downstairs to the basement.

I wasn't mad at all about moving down there, just as long as her and my baby were where I could keep an eye on them.

I grabbed my stuff and headed out the room and down the stairs. I walked down the hallway to the last door, opened it, and descended the stairs. Once I made it to the last step I looked at my surroundings.

"I guess this is home for now" I said to myself as I sat my things down and looked around.
