Virgil woke up and sighed into his blankets. Morning. "Nooooooooooo" he groaned aloud, snuggling into his blankets.

He soon had to get up because for some reason you have to use the bathroom every time you wake up even though you didn't drink anything the eight hours you slept.

He used the bathroom and came out, (a/n 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈) grabbing his headphones and phone, going to spotify and turning on a random playlist.

Welcome to my life by simple plan blasted through his headphones, and he unknowingly started singing along.

When the song stopped he heard a clapping, so paused his music.

"Great job, Virgil!" Patton clapped.

"How did you get in here?" Virgil panicked.

"I broke your door down."

"Why?"

"I knocked and you didn't answer."

"...it's 7"

"In the afternoon"

"Really?" Virgil asked.

"Yep!" Patton exclaimed, popping the P.

"Wow."

Patton left the room after two seconds of awkward silence.

"Wait so you break my door down because I didn't respond then you walk away?" Virgil asked.

"Well, I just wanted to make sure you were okay, kiddo!"

Virgil sighed, and turned on a John Mulaney playlist.

After about a hour of this, he decided he needed a break from doing nothing but reading Prinxiety fan-fictions, so put his phone away and took his headphones off.

He went into Roman's room, and saw him lying down watching something.

Virgil walked in and lied down next to him, cuddling into his chest, being the big spoon,

Roman didn't notice Virgil coming in so when he cuddled into Roman, he jumped and smacked Virgil, saying "Begone, dragon witch!"

Virgil jumped up and touched his cheek. "Jeez Roman, you're strong. Also, not a dragon witch, i'm your poor abused boyfriend."

Virgil fake sobbed into Roman's chest while Roman panicked, wondering if he actually hurt his boyfriend.

"Are you okay Virgil? Did I actually hurt you?" He asked, worried.

Virgil snickered and said, "i'm fine, Princey, maybe I should knock next time."

"Yeah maybe you shoul-" Roman stopped and looked at his hand.

"Woah I slapped the makeup right off of you!" Roman exclaimed.

Roman looked down to Virgil and he noticed his cheek had a red handprint on it.

"I hit you that hard?" Roman asked in shock.

"Hm? Oh! No, no that one was from Remus. It kind of stings because you just hit it but i'll be fine." Virgil replied.

"Why did Remus do that??" Roman asked in confusion.

"Oh, after he and Janus kidnapped me, chained me to Remus's bed, and started licking me, Remus accidentally slapped me. But it's okay." Virgil said cooly, before his eyes widened, thinking about how bad that sounded.

"What the fu-" Roman began, but Virgil cut him off.

"Wait wait that sounded wrong what you're thinking is not what happened, it was my birthday, we have this thing where we kidnap each other on our birthday's, and we do something weird each year-"

"You rape each other?" Roman asked, cutting Virgil off.

"No, it's different every year."

"Wait- okay listen. They decided this year to chain me to their bed, strip me down to just sweatpants, cover me in Nutella, and lick me clean." Virgil ended.

"Wow. Why do you guys do this stuff?" Roman asked.

"It's just a birthday game. We celebrate each other's birthday's together because nobody really cared for us enough to do anything, so eventually we just decided to make birthday traditions." Virgil ended with a smile.

"Wow you look happy..was life with them good?" Roman asked.

"Yes. They were amazing! We had so much fun together! We would do stuff all the time, sneak onto the light side part of the mind palace and prank you guys, we never did anything too cruel to Patton though because he didn't judge us before he got to know us. Whenever he noticed us he would try to talk to us, help us, he even did stuff for us for our birthday's a few times, and he would just act like a dad."

"Wow sounds like you guys had fun." Roman said.

"Yeah! But then one day they were in the middle of coaxing me out of a panic attack because I dropped a glass plate and thought they would hate me for it, and then I Just appeared in the light side area, inside of a strange room..I think it was for Thomas' well-being."

Roman started to feel guilty as he began remembering stuff.

"I was alone. In a dark lonely room, Remus and Janus gone. I cried for a few more minutes then fixed my makeup, and walked out of the room which I assumed was mine."

"Then I ran into you. And you immediately didn't like me. You have no idea how many panic attacks I had over the phone with Remus talking about you- sorry that just slipped out."

Roman looked down, feeling guilty.

"I was trapped in this strange place, got pulled down for a video, people immediately wanted to get rid of me, blah blah blah, ducked out soon enough, trying to get back to my two friends, didn't work, you know the rest. It seemed like you hated me. I never would've guessed you liked me."

Roman hugged Virgil and said "things are different now..we've made mistakes, but they teach us to not mess up again so we can be better. I love you, the past can't change that. Plus, that's just how I show my love."

Virgil snickered and cuddled into Roman.

"You dork, I love you too"

Virgil fell asleep in Roman's chest, right before Remus appeared, screaming "he called you a whale penis!" Into Roman's face, then disappearing into the night.
