Today, I felt the most.

You seemed to be in such a good mood. Huge smiles almost never leaving your face. It always warms my heart to see you so happy. Even if the clouds were blocking out the sun, you were bright enough to light up the day.

But it still hurt.

Because I want to hold you in my arms and be able to tell you my feelings. I can't risk ruining our friendship, so I'll just take a step back.

Yet, you stepped closer.

And leaned towards me, just a bit, to ask "can we hang out later?"
