Peter's POV

Wow, I can't believe it's already spring break. Spring break means school is almost over. And school is almost over means summer break. And Summer break means being a Junior. And being a Junior is only a year away from being a Senior. So I'm basically almost a Senior!

I'm super duper excited for this spring break because Dad said I can finally meat the other Avengers. He hasn't gotten the accords settled. He technically has never signed anything, so recently general Ross has been hunting him down trying to get him to sign. It was always believed that him, Natasha and the other half of the Avengers signed but really the only reason they are not fugitives is because they tried to help get Steve back. After that whole fiasco, Steve and Tony made up and are not in contact very frequently. Over break all of the Avengers are going to be at the compound and I get to spend the whole break down there with them and dad!

Me and May start packing my stuff because Happy is going to pick me up at five o'clock this after noon so we can head to the compound.

"It's my first time going to the compound and meeting all of the Avengers, I'm kind of nervous." I say to May. She does know about the Avengers, but she was sworn to secrecy. Though we know that she would never tell.

"It's going to be all right Petey. I know you're really excited about this and you need a break. Plus Tony said that after this time you will get to visit it more often and maybe even work with him down there. Also you don't need to worry about me remember?" May said in a warm tone that always seems to calm me down.

"Thanks Aunt May, I guess you are right. And I hope that you have just as much fun as I do, if not then more." I say smiling at her while I put the last few things in my suitcase.

Flash Forward to 5:00

I finally head down stairs to go meet Happy. Aunt May walks me out.

"Are you sure you don't need me to stay Aunt May?" I ask for what seems like the 1,000th time in the last hour.

"Peter if you don't get in that car I will." May says while still sounding stern but warm.

"You're right. Goodbye Aunt May. I love you and can't wait to see you again!" I say while she gives me one of her big bear hugs.

"I'll see you later sweetie. I love you." She says while finally letting me go so I can get in the back of Happy's car.

I finally get in and wave May goodbye.

"Hey kid." Happy states very bluntly, but Peter knows he cares.

"Hey Happy!" Peter says back while pulling a book out of his bag.

"Whatcha reading there?" Happy says trying not to sound to interested.

"It's called 'Brave New World' by Aldous Huxley.  Our teacher said that we can read it, along with a couple of other books, and do a report on it for some extra credit. I was wanting to get some reading in the break anyways so I thought this was the best option." I ramble on while Happy subtly listen along.

We end up driving for about 3 and a half hours. In that time I finished Brave new world and almost finished Lord of Flies. I have Happy guide me into the compound as it almost done with my book and don't want to put it down until I'm done. Happy said we could get my stuff later so I'll take this opportunity to finish it.

We walk into the compound, my nose still stuck in my book, 'only three chapters left, I just gotta finish this then I can greet everyone' I think to myself. Happy guides me to a living area while out of the corner of my eyes I see a bunch of people sitting down and starting to stand up walking towards me. 'Only two chapters left' I think as I flip the page.

"He's really into that book, I've never seen anyone just not freak out about the Avengers standing right in front of them." Clint says.

Bruce bends down to look at what I'm reading. "Lord of the Flies, that's a good book. When did you start reading it?"

"He started it about a hour ago. First he started the book Brave New World and then once he finished that he pulled out another and is almost finished with it." Happy states, almost sounding proud.

They all look impressed from what I can see.

"Do you think he knows that we are here?" Sam says.

"Of course I know you're here. And I only have two pages left." I state without looking up from my book. Wow MJ is really rubbing off on me.

Tony's POV

He finally closes his book and looks up grinning from ear to ear. "Hi! I'm Peter Parker!" He says.

"There you are! How was the book?" I ask.

"It was great, I brought a couple more. I hope they last." He says looking curious.

"That shouldn't be a problem Peter, we have a library here at the compound."  Steve says grinning. The kid seems to already be growing on him. As expected.

"Really! That's awesome." Peter says, his smile getting wider if that's possible.

After everyone officially greets and introduces themselves to Peter, Steve pulls me aside.

"Hey Tony, I get why you like this kid but why do you trust him with our secret. He has to be something more than just a trusty intern?" Steve asks looking confused and almost concerned.

"Oh did I not tell you guys?" I ask Before I give him time to answer I say aloud to everyone "Hey guys I forgot to tell you one special thing about Peter. Peter would you like to tell them?" I ask the kid.

Peter looks confused as first but then I see the lightbulb turn on in his head. "Oh yeah, I'm Spider-Man." He states very calmly.

I watch as the room is exploded with everyone talking very loudly. Everyone was saying the same things. "How could you let a 15 year old kid fight"

After trying to calm them down I look over to Peter who has his hands over his ears and his eyes squeezed shut. I run over to him and walk him to his assigned room while the talking dies down and all of the eyes land on us...

1109 words!!! Hey guys I hope you enjoyed this beginning to my favorite spiders summer. I'm sorry that I skipped so far ahead. I know two whole months!!!! But I feel like nothing important would happen in those two months so i wanted to get to the good stuff. Also how do you feel about Ships? Who would you ship?
