1 month has passed since Tyler's debut*

The week after the NXT recordings, Tyler went out to eat with a couple of the talent backstage; That didn't end so well.

He thought since he hasn't had a cheat day in a couple weeks, that he would treat himself to chicken.

But what he didn't know was it was undercooked, severally.

And later on that night would be the start of food poisoning.

As the first NXT road tour was coming up, he had to get better before.

Going to his doctors the next day with disappointing news.

He didn't know how long it takes to recover from this illness until he was tied that he'd need atleast two weeks to be one hundred percent back.

That killed his mood as he would be missing the first two weeks of tour, and he wanted to go for storyline building and getting used to the new environment.

What also killed his mood even more was his girlfriend Scarlett didn't even know or care that he was violently sick.

Tyler would try and call, text or reach out to her friends to get something out of her. But he would always get no response, and it was worse when her friends would say that she'll call him later.

Being home, alone, and experiencing hell he couldn't take it.

No one knew he was sick besides Hunter, his partner for the tour Aleister, his overseas friends Will and Bea, and Toni.

Last day before the tour*

Tyler was laid up, laying on his couch feeling nothing but pain.

He hasn't gotten any sleep in a whole week, the most he's gotten was probably two hours the second night.

But he would he up almost every fifteen minutes every night.

So he was sleeping on the couch until he heard a knock at the door.

Toni: Ty?

Tyler: wakes up* Y-Yeah?

She looked over and saw him in the living room, so Toni walked in and saw the hell he was going through.

He slowly sat up and saw that she had gifts.

Toni: Hey, how do you feel?

Tyler: Like hell.

Toni: You look like it.

Tyler: I can't keep anything down, I'm dehydrated and starving.

Toni: I'm suprised you have an appetite.

She then sat next to him on the chair and let him talk.

Tyler: Never going to that restaurant again.

Toni: I heard that Roderick also got sick.

Tyler: That sucks.

Toni: Yeah, so I'm guessing you don't want this stuff?

She lifted up a bag full of soup, medicine and water.

Tyler: I wont keep it down for a while.

Toni: I know, I'm sorry.

Tyler: Thanks.

She stayed for a little bit longer until when she came back from the bathroom and saw he was asleep.

Toni smiled and walked over to her best friend, pulled the blanket over him and kissed his forehead.

She wanted to kiss him for real, but knew that would probably wake him up.

Turning back and see he had a smile on his face made her happy, she shut the door and walked out of the building.

2 long weeks later*

Tyler was finally cleared by his personal doctor and the trainers at the Performance Center.

He can finally hit the road for his first ever NXT tour.

Friday*

He had to fly into that said town and show up to the show to get evaluated by the backstage coaches and trainers.

But everything was clear, so he was good to go.

Alarm*

Tyler hit the alarm as he had to be up and ready to hit the road.

He grabbed some clothes and got ready to shower.

Today would be his first day back with Aleister Black.

It would also be the return with a new entrance theme.

He had a few friends in the heavy music business and gave them a call.

An hour later*

Tyler and his road partner Matt Riddle were almost an hour into their trip.

But that would be extended by Tyler having to drop off "The Bro" to see his family.

Matt: I really appreciate this man.

Tyler: No problem, man's gotta see his family as much as he can.

He smiled and they pulled off the next exit, which was where his wife and kids were.

They pulled into a gas station where he helped Riddle unload and load back up in their car.

Both bro hugged and Tyler got back into the rental and drove off.

Another 20 minutes into the drive*

He had his phone hooked up to bluetooth on the radio and was scrolling through his playlist.

But he was interrupted by a call from one of his friends.

Tyler: Toni?

Toni: Ty, oh thank god you answered!

Tyler: Yeah? What's up?

Toni: We need help..

Tyler: We?

That's when he heard Rhea Ripley in the backround yelling as if she was trying to see what was wrong.

Tyler: Are you and Demi together?

Toni: Yeah, shes my roadtrip buddy.

Tyler: I see, now what's wrong?

Toni: Our car broke down.

Tyler: Oh really? Where are you two at?

Toni: You may have to turn around but its Exit: 110.

Tyler just passed an exit sign that read 107.

Tyler: Actually, I just passed 107. I had to drop Matt off a while back.

Toni: Ok, can you pick us up?

Tyler: Sure, I'll be there in ten.

Toni: Thank you so much, I owe you.

They both hung up and Tyler kept on his way as he rerouted to their location a little off the exit.

10 minutes later*

He pulled up to a road off the exit and saw both women standing outside with the hood popped up.

Smoke was rolling out and he knew that it wasn't repairable in time.

Tyler put it in park and got out to see them both look at him.

Toni: She really fucked it now.

Rhea: Hey now.

Toni: You were driving.

Tyler: What's up? What's wrong?

Rhea: I can see that the smoke is rolling out.. here in the front.

Tyler looked over and saw a huge hole in the radiator.

Tyler: Jesus Demi, blew a huge hole in the radiator.

Rhea: So it's not repairable?

He just laughed and she hit his arm as Toni came back from packing their bags.

Rhea: Well Tyler, looks like you have some new travel buddies.

Tyler: Great.

He rolled his eyes as a joke and they all walked back to his car.

Everyone piled in and they were back on the road.

10 minutes down the road*

Tyler was up front while both women were sitting in the back.

He decided to break the silence.

Tyler: turns down music* Hey aussies.

Rhea: Don't.

Tyler: C'mon

Toni: What's up?

Tyler: I'm getting a new theme.

Toni & Rhea: Really?

Tyler: Its pretty heavy, which I know the both of you are fans of.

Rhea: How heavy?

Tyler: You'll see.

They then continued to the venue as they were twenty minutes out.

Both women were just listening to his music and watching the road.

Tyler was then on the phone in a conference call, so this was Rhea's time to talk.

Rhea: Toni?

Toni: Yes?

Rhea: Have you talked to Ty?

Toni: ... no.

Rhea: Why not? The man's hurt, he needs someone that cares.

She just came out and said it straight to Toni, which suprised her.

Toni: He's hurt?

Rhea: He told me last night that Scarlett didn't even know that he was sick.

Toni: Really?

Rhea: He told me that he called her multiple times and got nothing, if I were you I'd swoop in quick.

Toni went back to thinking of the situation as they pulled up to the small arena.

Showtime*

Toni already had her match against one of her favorite rivals back in the indie scene, Jinny.

Both had a hard fight and ended it with Toni pinning her.

She was backstage now getting changed as Tyler texted her.

Ty❤: Some of the guys wanna celebrate my return after my match, you in?

Toni: Hell yeah.

That made her excited that their relationship with each other is close enough for them to hang out everyday.

With Tyler*

He was in gorilla watching the match from the free open curtain until a fan noticed him.

They waved at him so he waved back and walked away from there.

But that's when his cue came and he was ready to pounce

Tyler sprinted out with chains wrapped around his arms as Kyle, Bobby and Roderick were holding Aleister while Adam super kicked him.

The rest of Undisputed Era saw Tyler slid into the ring behind Adam.

They all yelled at him to leave but he was whipped with the chain and dropped like a bag of rocks.

Before Tyler could whip him again, Bobby and Kyle pulled the leader of the crew out of harm's way.

Tyler got his partner up and handed him his championship belt as the Undisputed Era was trash talking them as they walked up the ramp.

But the dark duo didn't do anything but watch then walk backstage.

The show was now over and Tyler Black was back, and him and Aleister walked around the ring hyping the crowd up.

Both then walked around and took pictures with the fans and signed a few autographs until it was curtain time.

When Tyler walked through first, Triple H and more of the coaches were clapping for him as this was his first of many tours.

He embraced the love everyone has into this business.

30 minutes later*

Everyone was sitting backstage in the catering area they had and were enjoying a few drinks.

A couple people were going over board but Tyler kept his drinks slow sips.

He was standing around watching everyone react until he got a tap on his shoulders.

Toni: Tyler!

He turned around and she smiled at him, he gave her a hug and handed her a drink.

Toni: Huge turn out.

Tyler: I'm pretty sure it's like Japan, if you provide the beer then people will come.

She laughed and they sat down to have a light conversation with some other of the talent.

An hour later*

The crowd was starting to die down as people were going back to their hotel rooms. Now Tyler and Toni were only two beers in and still wide awake, so he had an idea for them before they had to get ready for tomorrow.

Tyler: You wanna get out of here?

Toni: And do what?

Tyler: Grab a burger?

She was thinking otherwise but she was till down for some food.

So they grabbed their bags and saw that Rhea was gone already.

Tyler walked Toni to the rental car and packed both bags.

Both were now on their way to pick up some food.

20 minutes later*

They pulled up to a late night diner and saw that no one was there, which was a good thing since they could be recognized.

Inside*

Both sat a a booth, across from eachother looking at their menus.

Tyler was looking down as Toni couldn't stop looking at him, she was thinking that this could be a date.

The waitress walked up and took their orders as both were sipping on some water.

And that's when the mood changed when Tyler looked and saw his phone ringing.

Toni: What's wrong?

Tyler: Scarlett's calling me.

Toni: Answer Ty

Tyler: ... no.

Toni: No?

Tyler: No, I was sick for two weeks and she didn't even care to check up on me.

She acted suprised at what he was saying, even though she already knew.

Tyler: I tried to call and text her atleast three times a day when I was deathly sick.

Toni: And she still didn't respond?

Tyler: Nope, I dont think she even knew.

Toni: I'm sure she did, maybe she was busy.

That's when the food came and they were enjoying it, together.

After a couple minutes of silent eating, he broke the silence.

Tyler: You were the only one that actually cared.

Toni: Ty, I'm sure your family cared.

Tyler: They did, but you were the only girl that cared.

Toni: Really?

That was making her a bit excited in her head as she's making an impact on his life.

Toni: Were best friends, that's what they do.

Tyler: Its pretty sad when your girlfriend of almost two years doesn't even care.

Toni: let's change his mind* You know what? Yeah, that's fucked up.

Tyler: See! You get it, I'm sitting here wasting my time on a women that clearly doesn't care.

Toni: So? What are you going to do about it?

That's when Tyler sat and thought about what was next.

Toni was just smiling across from him as she had an idea brewing.
