A couple days since the announcement*

Tyler has a huge match against his former leader and friend, Adam Cole. The match was being hyped up from all social media platforms around WWE as they haven't announced the stipulation for the match yet.

Everyone was waiting on Hunter and Regal's decision onto release the news.

So while Tyler waited, he was helping Toni work out a little more harder since she has Rhea in a couple days. Knowing Rhea personally like Toni does, she knows that this rivalry is real and will be hard hitting.

Both Tyler and Toni would hit the gym atleast twice a day, one in the morning and the last time at night.

They were taking tolls on their bodies and on the last couple days would only go once a day, and especially today since Toni's family is growing.

Back when they were at the new pet store that opened in downtown Orlando, she had her eyes on this one dog that they've had for a while.

She called ahead after the NXT taping and got the confirmation that she was still there.

Alarm*

Friday, two days until Takeover where everything goes down.

Tyler quickly opened his eyes, turned off the alarm clock and threw the sheets off himself.

He looked around to see that Toni wasn't in his bed, which means that she had gone home late last night after their movie. Tyler was so tired this past week, he had no idea if she left or not.

For the past couple weeks Tyler hasn't been able to sleep since his back would cause him so much pain that he couldn't get more than four hours a night.

The pain would go back and forth from moderate where he wouldn't feel much or nothing at all, to extreme where it was terrible to walk and even sleep.

Toni has been on him about going to get it checked out, which he scheduled an appointment for next week to get a quick CAT scan.

Later on into the morning*

Tyler was walking around his apartment as he was waiting for stuff to dry for this weekend.

But just as he sat down to eat breakfast, he got a text from Toni.

🤘Toni🖤: Hey, you should come over. Someone wants to meet you.

Tyler: Give me like five minutes.

After a while*

Tyler rushed getting ready and finished before today. He knew that this would be the last time he would be home until the following Monday.

He grabbed his bags and locked up his apartment, then walked down to Toni's and felt it was unlocked so he walked in.

When Tyler stepped in and heard Toni raise her voice.

Toni: Gasps* Who's that Reggie!?

Before anything could happen, Tyler watched Toni stand up and saw a little dog rush around her couch and play at his feet.

Tyler: Woah. Bends down* Hi Reggie, Hi!

Toni: Reggie, that's your daddy!

She joined him as they were giving the little dog massive amount of attention.

Then Toni was changed and they were going to hit up the gym before getting ready to leave tonight.

Tyler doesn't know that Toni called ahead to the hotel that they're staying at allowed animals for an additional price, which she paid instantly.

So Reggie would be joining them this weekend.

At the gym*

It was a private gym for WWE employees and talent only, but no one never used it since everyone was using the Performance Center.

Tyler drove Toni and her new roommate to the gym to see it was empty, which was perfect for them as they love empty gyms.

He then followed Toni in as she walked in her new pup.

Then the workout was on.

Almost an hour later*

Both Tyler and Toni were checked out, spent, killed. They finally had their crash that they've been building all week.

They both got changed and Toni met her boyfriend outside their locker rooms and handed him her phone.

Tyler: ...

Toni: Can you take a picture of Reggie and I?

Tyler: I'll be surprised if he'll stay in your arms.

Toni: He loves me, and he loves his jacket.

Tyler chuckled a little, then watched his aussie blond sit down and pose with her new dog.

After taking a couple, they packed up and walked back to Tyler's Jeep.

Fast forward to Saturday*

A little recap of Toni and Tyler's Friday, and it involves nothing.

They couldn't do anything as the soreness took over their lives for the rest of the day, then fload into Saturday when they woke up in Phoenix.

But having Reggie there to keep them moving would warm them up for the day.

Toni and Tyler had a tight schedule for today as they only had morning freetime until one in the afternoon where they would have to be in the arena.

The couple woke up early to take the dog out before they were having to take him somewhere to be watched until Takeover is over.

Skip ahead to later that night*

Tyler was walking through the halls with Toni, pulling their bags while a camera was walking in front of them.

He was dressed in a suit with headphones on while Toni was in a black dress with her own headphones on.

The commentators were commenting on how focused they looked, which was good since both are being put on the spot with their matches tonight.

NXT producers then cut the cameras as Tyler was shuffling through his music and hyping himself up when they reached their locker room.

Toni put down her bags and took off her dress to change into lose workout clothes so she can move around easier to warm up.

Tyler did the same as he was still moving around and pumping up himself to his music.

Before they knew it, some producers were calling them down for rehearsals for tonight.

After rehearsals and interviews*

The show has now officially started, and the first match was Toni versus Rhea in a winner take all match.

Here we have the NXT Women's Champion goes one on one with the NXT UK Women's Champion. Toni was ready to leave the show tonight having to make room in her suitcase.

Tyler wasn't dressed yet as he was still in his sweats as he was walking hand and hand with Toni.

She was dressed in a offset color to match him tonight, red and white.

He was a huge fan of her jacket as she let him pick out some small designs onto it. Then Bea and Will were also a big help with it too.

In gorilla*

Tyler was standing in the control room as Toni stared at herself in the mirror they had.

She looked to be pumping herself up more and more until Rhea walked in.

The tension between the two were real and this was about to show.

Toni's theme hit and she winked at Tyler before walking through the curtain.

He was super excited to sit down next to Regal and watch the match from the gorilla position, until Hunter walked up and pulled him a side, then out of the curtains.

Now he couldn't see what was going on but heard the bell ring as the match started, which upset him because they were walking further and further away from a screen showing the match.

Hunter was now walking Tyler throughout the hallways as he was feeding him information on what was happening tonight for him, and his girlfriend.

He was excited for one, then crushed when he heard the other news and had no idea how to react.

End of Toni's match*

Tyler ran back to gorilla to see a screen show the ref hold up Rhea's hand, then give her both belts.

It wasn't long before Toni walked through the curtain to a standing ovation from the producers, head writers and Tyler.

After some motivational discussions with some people, Toni finally saw Tyler and hugged him tight.

He wrapped his arms around her as they stood there and embraced in the moment. It was bitter sweet as Tyler knows what's happening next.

She had a few interviews to do so Tyler followed her around while she did that, then walked her back to their locker room.

Main event*

Tyler was hyping himself up while warming up.

He was dressed in his red and white while his jacket had blood streaks down the side.

While he was quickly stretching while Toni was snapping quick videos for her Instagram, then she would watch him.

That was until there was a knock at the door. The universal sign for showtime.

Everyone was waiting so he quickly took off his shirt and felt Toni grab his hand.

She could feel the shaking and she held it tighter as they walked out of their locker room and down the hall.

While they were walking through, Tyler could feel a presence of something. Something black and yellow.

That's when he caught what looked to be Bobby Fish brushing around a corner.

But that didn't matter right now he shook it off until they got to gorilla where the fitters fell off and now it was time to go.

The stimulation still haven't been announced until he overheard the announcer finally spill it.

Announcer: Next match is a two out of three falls match! And is for the NXT Championship.

That's when Tyler overheard his new music, so he took a deep breath and walked through the curtain.

The croud erupted as he walked out to a stage filled with smoke. They all were cheering for him as this storyline was the biggest they've had in NXT for a while.

It was time to soak it all in and feed off of it while he made his way down the ramp and into the ring.

Suddenly, his music was cut by Undisputed Era's theme as Adam Cole walked out.

The gloating and trash talking started when he started to walk down.

End of the quick, controversial match*

The match was quick as Adam called all four members of Undisputed Era to circle around the ring.

That was messing with Tyler's mind while they distracted him, so Adam hit a quick superkick and cover.

But that was a easy kick out at one.

Now it was time to defend as the crew outside were getting antsy to attack, until Kyle jumped up onto the apron to distract the referee. While this happened, Bobby and Roderick grabbed him and drugged him out while Rhea hit a bit boot on him.

What they didn't know was the ref threw Kyle of the match instantly and watched this happen, so he threw the first fall to Tyler.

He was now up one to zero against Adam Cole.

The leader of Undisputed Era started to yell and argue at the rest of them as Tyler was now running the ropes.

He quickly stopped when Adam turned around and ran at him, but Tyler pulled a move from one of his buddies in Japan.

The Spanish Fly hit perfectly and Tyler covered to get the quick three count.

All over the croud, the NXT universe stood up and applauded, cheered and screamed.

The moment was real, the moment now happened.

Tyler couldn't even hear himself while the ref handed him the championship, it was a bitter sweet victory as he celebrated in the middle of the ring.

How could this moment get any better for Tyler? Toni then ran out and joined him in the middle to celebrate.

She hugged him tight and he returned it as this was one of his biggest moments in his career as a professional wrestler.

Everyone were cheering their names until they walked out of the building.

An hour later*

Interviews were made, title sides were changed as tonight was a success.

Tyler and Toni were now back at their hotel room, and it was only them since they couldn't pick up Reggie until the morning.

The couple was now sitting in their room just having a talk as Toni broke the news.

Toni: So, Hunter told me I'm getting called up.

Tyler: Yeah. He told me aswell.

Toni: He did?

Tyler: During your match.

Toni: Oh, well so you know. What are we going to do?

Tyler: With you being moved up?

Toni: Yeah. I'll be gone three hundred days of the year.

Tyler: And that doesn't matter. This is your career, your dream. I'm just along for the ride with you.

She smiled and kissed him while they changed for bed.

Tyler then moaned and groaned which made Toni worry, so she set up an appointment for Tyler to see a medical examiner to see what was wrong.
