A week since NXT Takeover Phoenix*

The NXT taping after Takeover has come and gone, but they were missing two of their top talent.

As the show was live, everyone was wondering where Toni was so she could get redemption after Rhea Ripley has become a double champion on the yellow brand.

But as most of the matches were finishing up, most of the fans knew that she wasn't coming. Especially when Rhea came out and called every women in the locker room.

Toni did not walk out and that disappointed a lot of people since she never got the proper send off from NXT.

Now, onto the newly crowned NXT Champion Tyler Black.

He also was not on TV as Takeover got to him a little.

Tyler, after he won the NXT Championship against Adam Cole; The trainers had him return the next day for an evaluation.

All three of them diagnosed him with extreme back spasms and not clear for inring competition.

He was then sent back home to recover the next day and Toni went with him.

Everyone in the medical profession in the back for WWE highly suggested that he sees a doctor soon with a scan of his spine.

So when Tyler arrived back in Orlando, Toni made sure she was there until he was better. That wasn't long since he walking around his apartment just a couple days later.

He felt better pretty quick but he still wasn't cleared.

That didn't matter to him yet since he would not take any bumps until after seeing the professionals. His appointment was scheduled for that next Monday, which was also a bad day.

Will and Bea are flying from Japan and landing that day, which means that Toni will be alone while picking them up.

Friday morning*

Tyler and Toni were in Atlanta today as this would be her first appearance for the main roster.

And Tyler wanted to come along since this was another step in Toni's career, so he wanted to be there for her.

Alarm*

The high sound filled the room quickly, waking Tyler as he laid next to it in their bed.

Blond and black hair was all over his face as Toni was wrapped everywhere. She had her arms up on him while a leg was also locking him in.

So, he was stuck.

A minute later*

The alarm clock went off again and that one woke Toni up as she jolted her head and opened her eyes to see her hair was everywhere. When she lifted her head and moved her hair, there was Tyler with his eyes closed.

That suprised her as she didn't know he was awake.

Toni: Whispers* Oops.

Tyler: It's fine.

She then shook her head as he opened his eyes and looked at her.

Toni: You're awake?

Tyler: I had a screaming clock hit me a minute ago.

Toni: And you couldn't get up because..

She started to move so he was now free, he laughed a little and both got up.

Tyler watched Toni get up and grab some clothes and walk into the bathroom.

The shower turned on shortly and he sat up in the bed as he laid back down, looked at his phone to see a text message.

Pops: Morning son, my flight gets in at 7 am. Could you pick me up and take me to one of my old friends house? Then we can go out for a bit and catch up.

Tyler's dad was flying into Florida for a few days to visit friends, but mostly his son.

Toni and Tyler would have his dad, Will and Bea over this week. Busy week.

A couple minutes later*

Tyler heard knocking on the wall and a faint voice from his aussie blond. So he quickly got up and cracked the door open a little as steam was rolling out and then he could hear her.

Tyler: You knocked?

Toni: Yeah, come here for a second.

He opened the door a little more and she finger waved him in, so he closed the door and joined her.

Later on in the morning*

After the little thing that Toni got them into, Tyler and her were now standing in their hotel room wondering what to do before the show.

She didn't have to be at the arena until later on into the afternoon/ early evening, so they had a couple hours to kill.

Tyler grabbed her hand and they walked out and down to the lobby where they started to walk down the road and found a pizza joint down the street. They had lunch together and were cracking jokes at each other until Toni had a crazy idea.

Toni: T, you're going to think I'm insane. But let's get matching tattoo's.

Tyler: Yep, you're out of your mind.

Toni: C'mon. It'll be something simple.

Tyler: Like?

Toni: Something like this.

She showed him her phone of another couple with their initials on their pointer fingers. He then gave her a look on how cheesy that is.

Tyler: T, c'mon.

Toni: Tyler. Please. I like it.

Tyler: Our initials are the same.

Toni: Yeah, you get like a nice font and I'll get like a bold font.

She then grabbed his hand and rubbed her thumb along the top of his hand, this was always her way on getting him to break.

Tyler: Uhg. I can't with you sometimes.

Toni: You'll do it!?

Tyler: Yeah, why not?

He got up and she was confused on what he was doing.

Toni: Now where?

Tyler: Let's go to the tattoo parlor.

Toni: Wait? Now?

Tyler: You wanted to so this, so let's go now.

Toni: Really!?

He kept trying to get her up as she finally stood up and grabbed his hand as he found a shop down the road.

They walked in and got inked up.

30 minutes later*

Toni posted a picture of their index fingers locked together with their tattoo's showing.

Later on that night*

Tyler was dressed in a suit as Toni was in her workout sweats since she was debuting tonight.

He walked her in as she had to go into the womens locker room to change for the show.

She didn't need to be at rehearsals since it was a simple run in, and some people don't know.

Friday Night Smackdown*

Toni was dressed and waiting in the hall as Tyler was next to her the whole time, pep talking her and calming her down.

Tyler: Babe, trust me. You got this, it's just like a Takeover croud. Plus you're one of the top women that everyone loves all over the world. You'll be just fine.

She looked up at him and smiled big which made him smile.

Toni: You never call me babe.

Tyler: I only need to show extra love when someone needs it.

Toni: Awe, I love you so much.

She then wrapped her arms around him and they shared a quick kiss before she went back into the womens locker room.

Tyler, now alone walked down the hall and found catering. There he saw alot of people that he hasn't met yet, even though hes been in his business for about a full year.

So he walked over and found an empty table that was directly aiming at the tv screen in the room.

Not too many people where in there yet, until he had a couple people show up and pull chairs next to him.

It was Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

Becky: Tyler Black, what are you doing back here?

Tyler: Oh.. you know.

Charlotte: What? Are you invading?

Tyler: Nope, not cleared to wrestle.

Becky: Then, what's happening?

He pointed to the screen to show Smackdown Women's Champion Asuka get ambushed from behind from a major babyface Toni Storm.

Both women sitting at the table were shocked as this wasn't even on the card, it was all secret.

Becky: No way! Toni debuted?

Tyler: Correct! She's finally grown up.

He faked sniffed and made them giggle as they were shooting off questions at him about some stuff between them.

Charlotte: I saw her Instagram post today.

Tyler: Oh yeah, I thought it was pretty cheesey to do it.

Charlotte: I thought it was cute.

Becky: I did too, you two seem like you can really rock it.

Tyler: Hopefully, because I'm not getting it removed. That shit hurts.

They all kept talking as the show was now midcard through.

Becky: How are you two?

Tyler: I can't even describe our relationship. It's amazing and shes my best friend, my roadie, my ride or die.

Charlotte: I saw she was taking g care of you the past week? Is everything alright?

Tyler: Yeah, not really sure what's up. Something's wrong with my back. I don't think it's anything but Toni thinks something is seriously wrong.

Charlotte: What's going on?

Tyler: Not sure, I'll have these spasms that really mess with me and then I'll wake up in the mornings in pain.

Becky: I always wake up in pain in the mornings.

Tyler: Yeah, see. I don't think it's really anything.

They continued to talk until they were called for their match.

So now Tyler was now alone watching the show with not alot of people around him.

5 minutes later*

Toni was now dressed and was walking back through the halls to head to catering and meet up with her boyfriend.

It was a quiet walk until she was suprised by a team of trainers and medical staff run past her.

She stopped looking at her phone and walked into catering to see a croud standing around a table.

Being curious, she walked up and saw Tyler laying on the ground in alot of pain.

She then butted into the croud, got next to Tyler and squatted down and hold his hand.

Toni: What's happening? What's going on!?

Trainer: Seems like Tyler is having one of his spinal spasms. We need to get him up quickly and to the office.

Everyone helped that was around, from random WWE employees to superstars to help the NXT Champ to his feet.

Tyler was in extreme amount of pain as they got him to a wheelchair and quickly got him to the back.

He called off them calling an ambulance and no need for him to go to the hospital.

Toni fought hard to try to get him to go but she lost that fight as they all were in the back now evaluating him to see what was going on.
