Recap on what's going on*

Tyler has been having these awful spinal spasms and when they hit, nothing can stop the pain.

They're random and nothing can help prevent them, the only thing he can do is lay flat and hold on as he would endure extreme amount of pain.

WWE tried hard to get him to the hospital the night of Toni's debut on Friday Night Smackdown. Even Toni tried and tried to get him to go to the emergency room to see what's wrong, but Tyler being stubborn waved everyone off and went by the trainers call.

They highly suggested he go with the ambulance and Toni, but that frustrated him as he thinks it's all nothing.

That also frustrated and worried Toni as she knows that something is seriously wrong, and her boyfriend can't wake up and see.

Now, they had no choice but to bench him and send Tyler home until he seeks a specialist.

Hunter and Regal also threatened to suspend him and strip his new title as they need a healthy, reliable champion and performer to be able to do his job whenever they need him.

It was a wake up call for Tyler as he was threatened with his job, so he agreed to move up his appointment for the next day. Which was bad since Travis's dad, Will and Bea were all flying in that day.

He really wanted his dad to go with him since he was always the guy to make him feel better about situations like this, if they were serious operations then his dad would always sauly it was nothing.

After being a physician for several years, he knew most of the things that would happen.

But this time was different, he's never heard or seen anything like it so he was curious and wanted to go.

Next Monday*

Toni went on the road for the week but cut her first tour short after what happend with Tyler at Smackdown backstage.

She was really worried and would now never leave his side until they figured out what was happening.

It baffled her that her boyfriend wasn't as worried as she was. Toni tried to convince him that this could be serious, but Tyler would always blow it off; Until another spinal spasm came, then the conversation would come back up.

Even though he would always make sure the conversations didn't turn into arguments by changing the subject, Toni made sure she was his second hand.

Alarm*

Tyler was laying straight on his back with the help of a brace.

Most of the trainers came together over the weekend and visited him at his apartment with the little support.

They all wanted him to wear it at night so it would prevent him from shifting in the night and disturb whatever is causing the pain.

A minute into the alarm*

Tyler slowly opened his eye to see Toni laying her head and hand on his chest, still asleep.

Carefully not to wake her and strain himself, he turned off the alarm and wrapped his arm back around her and fell asleep.

3 hours later*

Tyler and Toni woke up together as the second alarm went off. They had alot to do today as major company was currently flying in.

She grabbed some clothes from a dresser that she keeps washing over at his place.

The bathroom door closed and Tyler heard the shower hear turn on. So he was still laying down in bed as the back brace was very uncomfortable, then he started to unlock everything and was able to get himself out of bed.

He was on pain killers until his appointment, which was later this afternoon. Tyler rescheduled it so he would have time to be with Will and Bea when they land, then also have time to pick up his dad and have him next to him during it.

After sitting on the bed for a while, Tyler heard the shower turn off so he grabbed some clothes and waited for Toni to come out. When she did, he took a quick shower as they needed to be at the airport in an hour.

Knowing the Orlando traffic near the airport, it'll take them the whole hour to get there and wait for their friends.

10 minutes later*

Tyler and Toni were dressed in some sweats and out the door.

After she watched Tyler grab his keys, she grabbed them and made him sit in the passenger seat as she didn't want anything to happen.

He tried to fight it, but the aussie in her fought back twice as hard and he had to eat defeat.

They both got into his Jeep and headed down the road towards the outskirts of the southeast side.

An hour later*

Toni walked Tyler into the giant airport as they waited at the stairs for their Japan friends.

Before they knew it, they could hear a sequel from Bea at the top of the escalator, then Toni started to tear up. She then left Tyler's hand and sprinted to the bottom as they slowly made their way down.

Bea made it faster by quickly stepping down the steps and hugging her best friend tight.

Tyler walked over and could overhear them crying in each other's arms, he struggled to make his way over but gave Will a bro hug.

Neither of them know about his medical condition, or atleast no one does.

Bea hugged Tyler as Will hugged Toni. Tyler tried to take their bags but they kept them as Toni hinted that he was a bit injured.

Now they were already poking fun at him for it, as usual.

An hour later*

As they were all getting food outside of a restaurant in Universal Studios, Tyler got a text from his dad.

Pops: Hey Ty, I'm boarding my plane. I'll be there in 4 hours.

Tyler: Safe travels pops, see ya then.

He continued the day with the old Japan group with an Aussie and British accents.

Back at the apartment 4 hours later*

Tyler was worn out, which was unusual since he always has this insane spark of energy almost twenty four seven.

Bea and Will brought their bags in as they would be using Tyler's apartment while they're there.

He watched his girlfriend walk out of the apartment, but came back a minute later with a friend.

Door opens*

A small dog sprinted into Tyler's apartment as Bea turned around and gasped.

Bea: Oh. My. God T.

Toni: Reggie, meet your auntie Bea!

Bea: He's so cute! And-

Will: He's wearing clothes.

Toni: Yeah? Problem?

Will: Not at all, never seen a dog wear a full on sweat shirt.

Tyler: Neither have I.

They all shared a laugh and gave the dog all the attention he wanted. Then the silence broke when Toni started to hint at Tyler for him to tell them what happend last Friday.

Toni: So Ty wraps her arm around him* why don't you tell them what happend at Smackdown?

Tyler: It's nothing.

Toni: Nothing? You passed out from the pain.

Bea: Pain?

Will: Passed out?

Bea: Ty, what's going on?

Tyler: Its nothing. Trust me.

Toni: You say that, but I saw you on the ground holding your breath as you were in extreme pain.

Tyler: Yeah, maybe. But I'm good now.

He held her closer and she backed away as she was being serious.

Toni: No you're not, something is seriously wrong and you don't see it. They had to put you on a stretch board and then a wheelchair last Friday, and that was just to get you up and to the trainers office.

Bea: Ty, that sounds serious.

Will: Yeah man, you need to get that checked out.

Tyler: I am. My dad flies in in a couple minutes, then he's going with me.

After that shock, they were all really concerned for their friends health. Toni was more worried as she's seen him go from zero to one hundred in a snap. She's seen the build up of pain for months and finally take him over.

A couple minutes later*

Tyler grabbed his jacket, said his goodbyes and gave Toni a kiss before leaving with keys in his hand, and heading to his Jeep.

What he doesn't know is Toni had gotten up and watched him through the window walk to his car and head off.

She was really worried and wanted to go with him, but he wanted to do this alone.

After all, its nothing.

At the airport for a second time*

This time the airport wasn't as packed as it was earlier, so he was able to get a spot close and headed inside. It wasn't long before he caught his number one fan walk in front of him and give him a big hug.

Mark: I've been waiting a while to do this.

Tyler: Missed you dad.

He grabbed his carry on and walked him out to his car where they then headed to his friends house where his dad was staying.

Tyler watched his dad drop off his bags and head back to his Jeep, then they were off to downtown to his appointment.

WWE had arranged for him to meet with the top specialists in Florida, so he would be getting the best treatment to see what's wrong.

30 minutes later*

Tyler and his dad walked in as he watched his old man look around in awe.

Mark: Man, I've never worked in a place this big.

Tyler: You're retried, why talk about working?

Mark: I mean, the only thing I miss about the medical field was seeing my patients.

Tyler: Getting soft aren't ya?

Mark: A bit, but seeing the things they came in for were always interesting.

They laughed as he checked in and was called to the back quickly.

It first was a simple physical as they got everything updated, then he was shown to a room.

They again didn't have to wait long as the doctor walked in and asked some simple questions, then came the real question.

Doctor: Ok Ty, show me where it hurts?

Tyler: points to his lower back* It's kinda in the area where the kidneys are.

Doctor: So right here? Points*

He felt where he put pressure down and he puffed in pain as he found the spot.

Doctor: Ok, let's get you changed into a gown and see what's wrong. That's nothing to be concerning for your kidneys, but something is wrong.

Tyler: How are we going to figure it out?

Doctor: Get changed and we'll take you back for an MRI scan.

He handed him the gown as his dad followed the doctor out.

After a minute, Tyler then walked out and followed the doctor to the back. His dad hung back in the room while they walked back there to get it done.

Tyler walked into the room and laid down on the machine table as the doctor got him prepped, then walked out of the room and began the screening.

After 5 minutes*

The doctor walked him to the back and went to print out the scan.

What they weren't expecting was shocking news.

Back at Tyler's*

Bea and Will were unpacking for the week in Tyler's room as he let them use it so they wouldn't have to rent a hotel.

Toni was on his couch watching a movie with the dog and talking to their friends.

It had been an hour since Tyler left and she began to worry.

But it wasn't long until he walked into the front door with a shocked face, a folder in his hand and started to take everything off.

She watched him for a second, then he walked into the living room and sat on the coffee table in front of her with a pale face, like he had seen a ghost.

Toni: Tyler? What's wrong love?

Tyler: ...

He handed her the folder and told her what was wrong.

With Bea and Will*

They were unpacking their bags and having small talk until they heard a loud outcry.

Bea: What was that?

Will: Hey! Is everything alright?

All of a sudden, then Toni bursted out crying and that rose red flags as they both dropped their clothes and walked out to the living room to see Toni hugging Tyler tight as he was still in shock.

Bea: Ty? What's wrong? Why is she crying?

Tyler: I uh.. clears throat* I found out what was wrong today.

Bea: What was it?

Will: C'mon man, what's wrong?

Tyler: They coughs, holding back tears* found a spot on my spine and tissue surround it. A tumor.

Bea: A tumor!?

She started to tear up as this was hitting them all like a truck.

Tyler: The MRI scan showed small spots surrounding it. They confirmed it is also cancerous.

Will: Cancer!?

All this talk was now making Toni more upset as she was now weak. He held her as Bea started to cry and watched Will pace back and forth with his hand on his forehead.

Everyone was in complete shock and had no idea what was happening. Or what was even next.
